Certainly has been a long time, hasn't it? I'm sorry for taking so long with this story. Things have happened but, like a phoenix, we rise!

Confused? Don't be. Because this is my announcement I'm bringing this story BACK...in a way.

I've grown as a writer and want to rewirte this story. But I need YOUR help.

See I've talked with some people, they say the plot of this story either makes no sense or is too dark. Some of them have helped me come up with a different-ish plot. It's pretty similar to the original but less dark. Arceus won't be an asshole, for example. It'll still be Ash X Pokemon X Humans, of course.

So this is where I need your help. Do y'all want:

SPOILERS (kind of, not really since this was all addressed in the fic) this is just a reminder

Plot A: Arceus set up the attack on Pallet Town in order to get Ash to hate TR and swear to take them down, since Arceus predicts TR ends the entire world by mistake in the future. He realizes Ash's soul is becoming corrupted, and does anything possible to make it up to Ash and keep him from going down the wrong path. Delia is dead, Ash was in a coma for 8 years, and Giovanni is Ash's father.

OR

New plot, Plot B: TR attacks Pallet Town in order to steal something from Oak. Ash and Delia are alive but are in comas. Ash awakens after 8 years and swears vengeance. Arceus realizes Ash's soul is becoming corrupted, and does anything possible to make it up to Ash and keep him from going down the wrong path. Giovanni is not Ash's father.

NOTE: Arceus cannot personally stop an attack from happening nor can he do the attacking. He can, however, mess with people's mind and convince them to attack. He caused the Pallet Town attack by messing with Giovanni's mind BUT could not intervene to stop it. Arceus can only mess with the mind of people and make them do stuff that would be in their nature. Giovanni attacking somewhere? Yes that's dine. Giovanni surrendering and shutting down TR? No that's not possible.

He didn't intend for Ash or Delia to get hurt. Arceus is a "Great achievement always requires great sacrifice" type of god. He knew Ash would never try tearing down TR unless they did something truly truly awful, so he had TR attack Pallet Town. But life can be funny in a way. The TR members who went got carried away, and Ash and Delia were victims as a result.
