3rd P.O.V

It hasn't been five minutes and already he was starting to feel claustrophobic. Even though it seemed like everyone was going about their own business, he could feel stares on his back as he walked around. There was too much noise, so many distractions. "For a series of secret illegal runs there's a lot of people in on it."

Yusei felt himself struggling to keep his face composed as he made his way through the hoards of civilians. His hand tightening over the strap of his bag. As much as he wanted to turn away from this mess...it was far too late for him to back out. Not that Blister would let him. Bastard.

"There you are Dust. Over here!" Blue eyes glanced about through the swarms before finding who he was looking for. "About time you showed up-I was just about to ditch your ass." Yusei snorts as he reaches his so called 'partner.'

What a joke. "Chill out Gumshoe, I'm here aren't I?" Gumshoe...only crossed his arms. Muttering quietly as Yusei stands before him, analyzing the effectiveness of his disguise. Unable to stop his lips from twitching upright. "You look shady as hell."

At least no one would be able to recognize him. Honestly were it not for his voice, lovely personality and the information given Yusei would've never expected the muscleman in a black suit to be Trudge.

Then again, he was sure that if he ever ran into Crow or any of his other friends, they wouldn't recognize him either. "And you look like some sort of gentleman turned punk. What is with kids your generation wearing that shit? If you're going to wear a suit-wear it right." That honestly got a laugh out of Yusei.

Probably the most genuine one he's had all week. "It's called steampunk Gumshoe-not everyone can rock being classy like you apparently." If the young man was honest he would rather ditch the outfit entirely.

Sure the outfit complimented him, but man did he miss his jeans and t-shirts. Especially since the clothes costed a shit ton. Far more than Yusei would've liked to have seen. But what could he do? There was a job at hand.

And apparently him and Trudge were in for the long haul. "Come on. We need to hit the registration. You got your papers right?" Yusei rolled his eyes but nodded all the same. Of course he had them. The young mechanic refused to fail in his mission. Not when Blister gave him the scoop all those weeks ago.

"Nice digs you got here." Rally growled as the J-IPA agent made himself comfortable with a cup of coffee. Surrounded protectively by several men in black. "What do you want Blister?" Yusei was the only thing keeping the sixteen year old from going off on this guy.

Literally and figuratively restraining him. But the redhead could tell. His elder brother's patience was slipping. Just who is this guy? "I need your help." The older man took a sip of his drink, savoring the flavor as if he had all the time in the world.

It was pissing the boys off to no end. Still the mechanic would try to stay calm, even if this guy was an asshole. He still worked with his father. And the last thing he needed was to pick a fight with a government agent.

"Unless it involves repairing that black van with the busted light out in front of my shop I'm afraid there's not much I can do. Also you should really check the tires on that thing." Blister smiled as he took another sip, as if expecting that sort of answer.

Though to be fair...he kinda did. "Sorry kid, but I don't need you as a mechanic. At least not right now anyways. Matter of fact I'm here for a big assignment. One I can't do without you."

Neither of them believed a single thing the guy was spewing. "Fraid I'm not interested. Whatever it is, count me out. I got a business to run. And I don't need any trouble." Within moments guns were brought out.

"Yusei!" Aimed right for him. "This how government agents protect the innocent Blister? By forcing things upon people? Then threatening to blow their brains out the moment things don't go your way?" Blister was the only person who did not take out his weapon.

Still more interested in his hot beverage. "Not at all. Everyone here is way too tense. However I came because I need your help." Funny how he didn't tell his men to put their guns away either.

Despite only meeting him twice in his life...Yusei's perspective of him being an asshole hasn't changed. "Considering you won't even reveal to me what it is you need from me. I couldn't do anything even if I wanted to. I'm just a mechanic trying to get by in the Satellite. What could you need me for?"

The time for fake politeness and consideration was gone. The air chilled as Blister placed his cup down on the table. Staring into guarded blue eyes as he rested his chin on his interlaced fingers. For once showing a serious expression.

One that made the brothers hold their breath as they waited for the bombshell. "I want you to investigate the Underground Rings here in the Satellite." He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Are you serious?" Why him of all people?

"You're name please?" The girl sitting there, 'Serenity' smiled warmly at Yusei. "Dust Fairfite." With a little hum, the kind ginger went over the papers he gave her. Checking for any mistakes before stamping his documents off.

Beaming as he holds out some sort of identification card for him to take. After a bit of hesitation, he accepts it, staring at the picture of his new identity. Marveling at how...different he looked. The only semblance of him was the eyes.

Deep, guarded blue. "Alrighty Mr. Fairfite, here's your card. This will let you access your room and any buildings here in the underground. Be sure not to lose it." Giving a smile Yusei thanks the girl before walking off. "Next please!"

Phase one was complete. He's officially registered into the system. Now he just had to find out where his room was. It was times like these where he needed a map to help him out. "I summon strike ninja in attack mode!" If people weren't trying to sign up for the tournament. They were dueling.

"Come get my newest stock of booster packs. Regardless of how many or which one you choose-you're guaranteed to receive cards to aid you in your matches!" Or checking out the various stalls set up.

If only the circumstances were different, he would've loved to check something like this out with Rally and the rest of his friends. Too bad..."Oof!" Yusei had been in such a daze, his mind wandering that he ended up bumping into someone. "Watch where you're going!"

His eyes met a woman hidden within a white mask. "My apologies miss. I meant no offense." He offered the stranger a small bow with his hat off, surprising himself at how naturally he was able to act in character.

A groan escaped the businessman as he was surrounded on all sides by different sets of outfits. "This is torture. Why am I doing this again?" From behind the curtain he could hear his little brother snickering at him. The little brat.

Blister was doing it too, although he was at least trying to keep it quiet. "I told you. For this to work, no one can know who you are. And that means a new look and persona. Be lucky i'm actually letting you pick what to wear!" This was bullshit and he made sure to tell the agent as such.

"Look Yusei, you said you knew that there were potential people who could identify you. This is for your protection as much as it is theirs." He knew that already. The moment Blister finally revealed the important topic of discussion, Yusei couldn't stop himself from accepting the job.

Didn't mean he had to like what he was currently being put through however. With a frown he pulled out a simple dress shirt, tie and black vest. Looking at it with the matching pants with a top hat and goggles reluctantly.

This stuff probably costed more than his repair charges and Dr. Anderson's medical bill combined. Unless it involved his job, he wasn't all about things that were complicated, let alone fashion. And to think his hair was the next thing after he picks an outfit.

No doubt Rally was never going to let him live this down. Still he put it on, cringing at how well it fit him despite the short amount of time it took for Blister to get things together. He didn't like this at all. He didn't at all feel like himself as he stared at his reflection. At least he got to keep his eyes.

"Remember Yusei. When you leave you will be Dust Fairfite, a gentleman duelist that lived an upper middleclass lifestyle tinkering with machines and other gizmos. Close enough to your background where you can still be yourself, but different enough to where no one will recognize you as Yusei Fudo a Satellite mechanic. Still you got to look AND act the part."

It seemed that lecture from the irritating man was paying off as he actually managed to fluster the individual standing before him. "W-well just don't do it again." Mentally Yusei cursed the J-IPA officer as he took in the woman's attire.

A cloak covering her frame and mask to cover her face. Why couldn't he wear something similar? Or at the very least more normal. Hardly anyone was dressed the way he is. He was going to stick out like a damn sore thumb.

"Of course. My name is Dust Fairfite. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name miss? I would rather not bring upon further insult by not being courteous to the lovely woman i've wronged." Perhaps he was taking this a bit too far.

Granted he was being sincere as he uttered such lines. Though the somewhat flirtatious tone and flowery language made him cringe in his mind. It was the best he could do to sound like an upper middle class duelist, but he couldn't believe himself.

He lived in the slums. How was he supposed to know how people spoke? He doubted anyone talked like this. "B-Blackrose." Still, it seemed to do the trick if anything. He tried his hardest not to smile as the woman before him stuttered.

'Dust' could imagine her blushing from behind her mask though he had no clue what her face actually looked like. "Again, my apologies for bumping into you. Have a good day Miss. Blackrose." Tilting his hat with a small wink, Yusei departs.

Unaware of how many people were watching him-some of them even swooning over him. "Never pegged you for a lady killer Dust. I think you broke the poor girl." Despite his words Trudge was smirking at the sight.

Completely amused with what he just saw. His companion cleared his throat as a blush came rushing to his cheeks. The façade he had already broken. "I was only trying to apologize, it WAS rude of me to collide into her."

Trudge chuckled as he shook his head. "How is it you're still single? I'm amazed you don't have a girlfriend yet." As much as Yusei got on his nerves, the cop couldn't stop himself from asking.

It was an actual question that plagued his mind for years. Yeah the kid was taking care of Rally, but with his hard working ethic, good looks and brains-any girl in the Satellite or even New Domino would be all over him.

This new identity of his just being the icing on the cake. A small smile falls on the mechanics' face as he stares ahead. "I'm afraid there are bigger concerns on my mind than a relationship Gumshoe. Maybe someday...but not today." With that final sentence to two go with their luggage in hand.

The time has come. They managed to get in with no issues, the real struggle begins now as the tournament to the underground rings draws closer.
