Previously on Ash's Journey Through Dimensions, Yu-Gi-Oh Arc: Tristan, Duke, and Serenity tried to find a way out of the virtual world. When the thought of having to duel their way out. Tristan was forced to reveal that he lied to Serenity about teaching Joey how to duel to impress her. Serenity was upset about this. Unfortunately, the fourth member of the Big 5, Nesbitt, made his move against them: challenging them to a three-on-one duel. Serenity started the duel decently. Unfortunately, her anger at Tristan caused her to make a mistake, and Nesbitt took advantage. Nesbitt revealed he was spying on them and determining that Tristan was the weakest. (Targeting Serenity to get Tristan to sacrifice himself to save her.) Tristan was able to destroy Nesbitt's Machine King before he fell. Can Duke and Serenity avenge Tristan and keep their bodies? Find out now.

The Fourth Member of the Big 5 Strikes Part 2: Serenity's Comeback

Serenity was still feeling bad for what had happened to Tristan and couldn't keep going knowing that that stupid lie led to all this. "Serenity, come on, you can't let what just happened to Tristan cloud yourself. He wouldn't want you like this," Duke said to Serenity, who wasn't acknowledging what he had said.

"Seems like it wasn't just her monsters that shut down there. To think that even after all that, she still cares about him, what a joke?" Nesbitt said to Duke, who glared at Nesbitt. "It is her turn, so what will it be, young lady?"

"Serenity isn't in any position to duel mentally at this point. I have no choice?" Duke thought. "Let's skip her turn for the time being. You want a better duelist to fight to take me on," Duke said to Nesbitt.

"Fine, you have one full turn to try and beat me," Nesbitt said to Duke, who glared at Nesbitt.

Meanwhile, with Ash and the others as Joey was running through a dark and narrow corridor. "NO!" a female voice called out.

"Serenity! That doesn't sound good. We need to move fast before things get worse," Joey said, trying to get to the end as quickly as possible.

"Joey, we'll get to her soon enough. Here's hoping it's not too late," Tea said to Joey. Gladion, Ash, and Lillie were curious about who Serenity was.

"Serenity is Joey's younger sister and the reason he duels. She is with two of our friends, Tristan and Duke, knowing them they are either dueling to protect her or are about to duel," Yugi said to Ash and the others. Ash was about to say something as Gladion walked over to Joey.

"Joey, I know how you feel. Family means a lot, and why are you so worried about her and all. But it would be best if you didn't make an even more rash decision than you did in your duel," Gladion said to Joey.

"And how would you know that, Gladion?" Joey asked Gladion wanting to know why this meant so much to him.

"Because I have gone through this before with my family, not to mention with Lillie, my little sister, my only sister," Gladion said to Joey, who calmed down. "We'll find her, don't worry about it, but first, we need to get out of this passage, agreed?"

"Agreed and Gladion as one older brother to another thanks," Joey said. Gladion nodded as the group made their way through the area.

"Hang in there, Serenity. I'm going to find you soon enough," Joey thought.

Meanwhile, with Duke, Serenity, and Nesbitt, Duke knows that he has to win this turn soon to ensure that Serenity is safe. "My turn. I draw" Duke drew for the turn as he drew his field spell card but not his best monster.

"Great, I have the two cards needed, but I don't have the right monster to make these cards work," Duke thought as he looked at Nesbitt's field. "He hasn't activated that facedown card on his turn. He set it a few turns back. It has to be a trap card, given that he did say that his spell card prevented those from being activated. That means that he was saving it for one of us," Duke thought.

"I activate my facedown card, Dust Tornado. This Trap card destroys one set spell or trap card on my opponent's side of the field," Duke said as the trap card destroyed it, revealing it to be Sakurestu Armor. "A trap card you planned that something might happen. I switch my monsters to attack position and I will have my 13th Grave attack your facedown monster," Duke ordered his monster to attack the monster facedown only to be revealed to be a Machine monster called Cyber Jar. (900/900)

"Oh, no, not that monster," Duke said as Serenity noticed as Nesbitt laughed.

"Foolish human, you fell for my trap my effect monster Cyber Jar. Did you think that I would let you win that easily? Now all your monsters will be destroyed on the field," Nesbitt said. Duke's and Serenity's monsters were the monsters sucked into the Cyber Jar, which was destroyed. "Now we get to draw five cards; if any are level four or below, they can be summoned. Now draw your five cards."

Duke drew his five cards cause Serenity isn't taking part in this. She didn't do such an action. Duke smiled upon seeing his monsters. "I summon the Battle Ox and Yaranzo," Duke summoned his two monsters. (1700/1000) (1200/1500)

"I summon Overdrive, Gradius, and Cyber Falcon," Nesbitt summoned his monsters. (1600/1500) (1200/1000) (1400/1200) as Duke had a bad feeling that this was going to be a bad thing as those monsters were in defense mode. Nesbitt looked at the rest of his hand and noticed a specific spell card.

"My turn isn't finished yet. Battle Ox destroys Overdrive," Duke commands his monster, who destroys his monster. "Now it's time. If I do not finish this turn, I will make sure that you will make it harder to do so. From my hand, I activate the Field spell Dice Dungeon field spell," Duke said, placing the magic card in the field spell zone. "But I'm not done yet. I activate the continuous spell card Dimension dice," Duke played his spell cards.

"Impressive, but you need a monster with a Dice roll effect to keep this in play when at the end of either player's turn," Nesbitt said to Duke, who smirked.

"Oh, I'm aware of how my spell card works. I sacrifice my two monsters to summon my ultimate monster Origoth the Relentless," Duke sacrificed the two monsters as a monster was summoned to the field. (2500/2000). "And given that his conditions meet the Dice, spell cards rule my spell cards remain on the field. As for my two spell cards, once per turn, we have to send one monster to battle, and the die will determine the outcome."

"I'm fully aware of your history with Dice and your game, young Duke. After all, we know about all of you. Your past and your history with the game of Duel monsters. No matter what the outcome, you will lose by my hand," Nesbitt drew for turn. "Now I move myself to the battlefield Robotic Knight is now in play," Nesbitt moves to the monster zone. (1600/1800)

"Now, young Duke, time to show you why your pathetic friend Tristan's sacrifice is worthless. From my hand, I activate the magic card Recycling Plant by discarding one card from my hand. I can revieve one monster in my graveyard and fuse with one monster I have on the field, and I choose myself, Robotic Knight," Nesbitt said as Duke now realized what Nesbitt meant by having a way to summon Machine King back.

"Machine King return to me so we can combine to become my ultimate monster," Nesbitt said as Machine King was resummoned and fused with him. "Meet my new deck master Perfect Machine King," As Nesbitt was now a new monster. (2700/2000).

"Yikes, I thought that we took care of that monster. Now you are something worse," Duke said.

"Indeed, a young man, I get 500 attack points for every Machine monster on the field, and because Tristan is no longer in play, his monsters stay on the field, meaning I gain 1500 attack points," Nesbitt said. (2700-4200)

"Since I'm the only monster on the field that is in attack Position, I'll take part in this game of your field spell," Nesbitt said as he snapped his finger as the dice rolled a 5.

"Too bad that roll means that your monster loses half of its original attack meaning all that power boast isn't going to happen," Duke said to Nesbitt, who was annoyed .

"What's the point of this field spell? Even with the attack point cut, I only lose 1350 dropping me to 2850, still stronger than your Origoth the Relentless," Nesbitt said. (4200-2850)

"My dice rolls in the past have been good to me so far. Let's see how well I will do," Duke said as the dice rolled. "The game will determine this dice roll, please, two or six," Duke thought, only for it to land on a three. "No, my monster loses 500 attack points," Duke said. (2500-2000)

"Your luck is worse than mine, sorry, but that was your last try to be the hero Duke. Now I will destroy your monster," Nesbitt said as he launched his fist at Origoth, destroying it. "I end my turn and with your monster gone. Your requirements for your field spell go with it," Nesbitt said as Duke dropped to his knees, surprised.

"Now, young lady, you will continue to participate in the duel again or automatically lose. You have ten minutes," Nesbitt said as he held another Clockwork Night spell card in hand. "Not like that it will matter if she does bounce back. I have this card ready to end it all," Nesbitt thought.

"Even my best monster can't take this guy out," Duke said and turned to Serenity. "Serenity, please get up Tristan wouldn't want you to be like this. Yes, he may have lied, but deep down, he still was trying to make you feel better as Joey's friend," Duke said to Serenity, who clenched her fists on her pants.

"I don't know what to do, but I can't just let you be at the mercy of all this. It is my fault for yelling at Tristan that he is now gone. What should I do?" Serenity said to Duke, who looked worried.

"You have Six minutes, Serenity, before the door bellow you will open up. Make your choice continue or lose. Either way, you will suffer the same way as your friend Tristan," Nesbitt said to Serenity, who got up.

"No, I won't run away. I will continue the duel and not give up, just like my brother would. Nesbitt," Serenity said, having a determined look on her face. "I won't let you get away with this."

Meanwhile, Joey and the others saw a doorway to the end of the pathway. "That should be it. Come on, let's go quickly," Joey said as he ran towards the door and opened it. Lillie was hoping that it wasn't in a cold place again.

The door opens to be in the same hangar that Serenity and Duke were as everyone gets in the beam above where they were dueling. Joey looked around and ran over to the side of the beam. "SERENITY! UP HERE," Joey yelled as everyone looked up to see that everyone was together.

"Joey, you came back," Serenity said as the others noticed what was happening.

"Oh, no, this is what we feared. They are facing one of the members of the Big 5," Yugi said as he noticed that Tristan wasn't with them. "Hey, where's Tristan?"

"Wasn't he with you three when we were separated?" Tea said that Ash, Gladion, Lucario, and Lillie were curious about this because Lucario could only sense three presences via Aura.

"He dueled with us and managed to sacrifice his deck master to give us the advantage, but," Serenity said as the others pieced together what that meant.

"No, Tristan sacrificed himself to save the group," Joey said, knowing that Serenity couldn't duel alone. "Make way for Joey. I'll help you," Joey said, ready to jump down.

"Negative, there will be no more interruptions. If you do that, you will cause them to lose automatically, Noah. let that first one slide against Crump, but here you won't be allowed to do so," Nesbitt said to the group, which Joey was about to protest.

"Joey, save it. It's not worth them getting three bodies by your anger," Gladion said to Joey, who calmed down. "You might not be able to be there to help, but you can cheer your sister on, have faith in her."

Joey nodded as Gladion had a point. He fought for her in the Duelist Kingdom. It's her turn to fight for not only him but herself.

"My turn, I draw," Serenity drew Pot of Greed. "Perfect from my hand, I activate the magic card Pot of Greed, allowing me to draw two more spell cards," Serenity drew Monster Reborn and Cost Down since she had six cards in hand. This might work. "From my hand, I activate the magic card Cost Down, allowing me to ditch my Shadow Priestess to summon Marie the Fallen One to the field," Serenity summoned her monster. (1700/1500). "I'm not done with my hand. I activate the magic card Monster Reborn, summoning back The Forgiving Maiden," Serenity summoned her monster.

"Impressive, but that won't be enough," Nesbitt said. Serenity remained calm, as Nesbitt noticed. "How could she be calm at a time like this?" Nesbitt thought.

Serenity remembers a summoning mechanic that Tristan told her about called Fusion summoning. She has the material now she needed access to a Polymerization card which she realized she didn't pick during her selections and was worried that mistake would cost her.

"Serenity," A female voice spoke out to her. It was her deck master. "My deck master ability allows you to summon your fusion monsters without a Polymerization card at the cost of a discarding of a spell card in your hand," Goddess with a Third Eye said to Serenity and nodded.

"Alight, time to get my best monster on the field. I activate my deck master's ability by sending one of my spell cards in my hand. I can perform a fusion summon using two monsters on the field without a Polymerization," Serenity said, discarding the spell card Scroll of Bewitchment.

"Fusion summon, go!" Serenity's deck master said.

"I send both of my two monsters on the field to fusion summon St. Joan," Serenity said as her monster was summoned to the field. (2800/2300).

"Impressive, but that won't be en" Nesbitt was interrupted by the activation of Command Angel triggering on what was Tristen's side of the field. "Impossible!"

"Excellent Command Angel's ability finally kicks in it gives Fairy-type monsters a 500 power bonus," Duke said. But that wasn't enough. (2800-3300)

"The problem is Perfect Machine King has 4300 attack points. St. Joan needs another Power boost to match it," Yugi said as Lucario noticed a strong aura coming from Tristan's facedown card.

"Master, I think that answer might be in our fallen comrade's left behind card," Lucario said via Aura communication to Ash, who nodded.

"Hey, I think Tristan might have left behind a gift for them for this situation," Ash said to Yugi and the others, which noticed Tristan's facedown card.

"Hey, you guys need to believe in yourselves and Tristan's help?" Yugi said to the group.

"That's enough. No more help from the Peanut gallery. One more outburst like that, and the duel is over, and Tristan can't help them. He's the weakest, and his attempts to save them were futile," Nesbitt said.

"He's wrong. Think about it?" Yugi said.

Duke was confused about what Yugi meant by Tristan's help, then he realized. "That's it. Tristan left behind a card for with his deck master's ability. I have to place all my faith in that one card," Duke thought. "Now I activate my deck masters ability," Duke said. "At the cost of two cards, I can reveal one facedown card on the field and activate it if it's a trap card," Duke said.

Nesbitt now realized that Tristan still had one more facedown card. "It can't be."

Duke sends two cards from his hand to the graveyard. "Strike Ninja use your ability to reveal Tristan's facedown card," Duke said as his deck master did some poses and revealed the facedown card, which was indeed a trap card.

"He left behind his Rare Metal Soul trap card," Joey said.

"Perfect, seems like Tristan came through. Too bad for Nesbitt. Rare Metal Soul raises one Fusion monster's attack power by 1000," Duke said as the trap card got onto St. Joan. (3300-4300)

"It can't be. This whole time Tristan was willing to sacrifice himself from the start to get you a fighting chance," Nesbitt realized that Tristan had times when he could've sent his one monster to save Serenity a few times. "He set me up from the start," Nesbitt said.

"Seems like you are making excuses. Serenity, do us a favor and end this duel once and for all," Duke said to Serenity, who nodded.

"St. Joan, attack Perfect Machine King. Now end this duel," Serenity said as her monster charged at Nesbitt, who knew that this was the end. As St. Joan attacked, both monsters were destroyed as Nesbitt was caught in a flash of light.

"Since Perfect Machine King was the deck master, that means Nesbitt lost the duel," Yugi said.

"All of this is futile. I may have lost the duel, but Tristan still lost, meaning that his body is mine. You won't get him back," Nesbitt said as he disappeared before the others could respond.

Serenity and Duke fell to their knees as everyone went down to their level. Joey ran over to Serenity, who hugged him. "I don't get it. I won the duel, yet Tristan still didn't come back,"Serenity cried. Joey embraced her

"I think we should give them some space. Who are your new friends here?" Duke asked Yugi, who introduced Ash, Lillie, and Gladdion. "A pleasure to meet you. I didn't think there were others here in this world," Duke said.

"It's a long story we can explain later," Ash said as Lucario was glowing blue again, he was sensing something.

"You sensed something, boy?" Ash asked Lucario and the others were curious.

"It's faint, but I can sense another human's aura that isn't the one these two dueled somewhere in this area," Lucario said via Aura. However, the others somehow understood what he had just said.

"Lucario, you spoke through your Aura? But normally," Ash questioned him, who was surprised.

"Huh? I know my Aura has gotten stronger, but it seems like it's when I'm in sensing form for now," Lucario said.

"It has to be Tristan. There's no one else that it could be unless Kaiba is in the area, but I think he would be as strong as his ego," Joey said.

"I sensed that as well, but no, it's not him that last card more represents the one who fell," Lucario said via his Aura.

"Let's look around to find him, and then we can try to figure a way out of here," Yugi said. The group nodded and started to leave.

Elsewhere in a different room a Monkey-like machine was being powered up and a voice sounding like Tristan spoke from it.

"Huh? What happened?"

Done and done. We will leave it here. Sorry for the wait, folks. For those who know, I had a lot going on these past few weeks with a family member's death. His funeral was yesterday, and I had to stay home. But this duel should've had a lot of changes from the original episode, which is what DraconicFireLord and I did.

Speaking of the wait, the next chapter will be the Lector Duel for those who have seen the anime with a bit of a twist or additional duelist added with Kaiba. Not going to say, but you'll see it might not be out this week, and it might not be out before Thanksgiving, given that we both work in retail and have family. See you next time.
