It was a dark and cloudless night deep within the Transylvanian countryside, soaring through the cool air were two witches flying on their broomsticks towards a dark and eerie castle. It was no ordinary castle, it was Spookelton Castle, one of the most haunted castles in Transylvania. Ominous and terrifying, the castle stood out against the skyline like a shadow from a horrible nightmare.
The two witches landed their brooms on the castle's landing pad. The first witch wore a white t-shirt, black jeans, red sneakers, and a hooded red cloak that concealed her face. Riding on her shoulder was a small white kitten with blue eyes. The other witch wore a lilac short-sleeved dress with black leggings, white slip-on shoes, and a navy blue hooded cloak that also hid her face. She pulled down her hood, revealing a small black kitten napping on her head. It was Sasha Jocklin. She picked up the sleeping kitten and calmly stroked him. "Wake up, Lucky. We're here." she cooed softly. The black kitten named Lucky opened his big, green eyes. He let out a yawn, purring softly as he snuggled into Sasha's chest.
The witch in the red cloak pulled down her hood. It was Rachel Jocklin. She smiled as she petted her white kitten. "You're such a good passenger, Moon." The white kitten named Moon meowed cutely.
Despite being human, the Jocklin sisters were witches in training, learning to become real witches under the tutelage of Scary Godmother, a powerful witch. But Scary Godmother wasn't their only teacher, there were other teachers in Transylvania who educate the girls at Spookelton Castle. Today, they were going to learn clairvoyant magic from Esmerelda, the most famous fortune teller in Transylvania.
Once the girls parked their brooms, they entered the castle with their familiars. Sasha looked around. "Rach, do you think we're cut out for clairvoyant magic?" she asked, her hands fidgeting as Lucky went back to sleep on the girl's head.
"Well, sis, we'll never learn until we try." Rachel said in a positive tone.
Just then, Madame Spook, ghostess of Spookelton Castle, materialized before the girls, making them jump. "Helloooo, girls!" Madame Spook shrilled.
"Madame Spook!" Rachel put a hand on her chest. "Don't do that!"
"Oops! I'm so sorry! I keep forgetting how jumpy humans are!" Madame Spook cleared her throat. "Right this way to your lesson." She hovered down the hallway as the girls followed. The three entered a room and inside was the great Esmerelda herself sitting on a lavish chair sipping a cup of mummy mint tea.
"Ah! The Jockin Sisters! You came just as I foretold!" Esmerelda said. "Let's take our seats and we will begin your mystical journey! Unraveling the curtains of uncertainty and into the future!"
Sasha smiled. "I love her dramatic flair."
And so, the girls began their lesson. Esmerelda was showing the girls how to read tea leaves. After enjoying tea and some tasty spooky scones, the sisters looked into their tea cups to make out what the leaves' shapes.
"Mine looks like...a hand." Rachel said.
Esmerelda glided to Rachel. "Really? Let's see..." She looked into the cup and gasped. The leaves looked like a clawed hand that was about to grab something. "Oh, my! That's the haunted hand! A sign of great danger!"
"What kind of danger?!" asked Rachel.
But Esmerelda didn't answer. Instead, she rushed to Sasha. "What are your leaves telling you, Sasha?!"
Sasha looked carefully into her cup. "I see...uh, I think it's a wolf." She showed her cup to Esmerelda. The seer looked and the leaves were shaped like a wolf's head.
Esmerelda suddenly gasped and started rubbing her temples. "Oh, my!" Her eyes widened.
"What is it?!" asked Sasha.
"I'm sensing something about your visions, girls! It feels like...these visions are connected!" Esmerelda snapped her fingers. "Quick! Turn off the lights while I get my crystal ball!" Esmerelda ordered.
Sasha quickly darkened the room while Esmerelda placed her crystal ball on the table. "Please, have a seat, my dears."
Rachel and Sasha took their seats at the table as Esmerelda began waving her hands around the glowing crystal ball, gazing deeply into it. "Ah! Yes! I see...a tall, dark, and handsome...werewolf!"
"Werewolf?!" the sisters exclaimed.
"Yes! A werewolf! And he's the leader of his own pack! A pack of friends!" Esmerelda gazed harder. "There's...a snake. A tarantula. A pirahna. And a shark!"
"A shark?!" Sasha yelped.
To say that Rachel and Sasha were surprised would be an understatement. "Um, are you sure you saw all that?" asked Rachel.
"Of course! We all know that I'm never wrong!" Esmerelda said with confidence. "And Rachel, according to you and Sasha's visions, it would appear that this wolf and his friends are in terrible danger! As if some sort of dark cloud of malevolence is coming straight for them!"
Rachel recalled everything Esmerelda said; a werewolf, a snake, a tarantula, a pirahna, and a shark. And then, it hit her. "Wait a minute!" Rachel took out her phone and began searching. "Esmerelda, did these animals look like...this?" She showed the fortune teller a picture on her phone.
"Why, yes! Those are the very same creatures I saw!" Esmerelda confirmed.
Rachel gaped in shock. Sasha looked at the picture and gasped. It was a picture of the Bad Guys, a group of animal criminals lead by their leader, Mr. Wolf, that were arrested a year ago. "Esmerelda! These are a group of criminals who call themselves, 'The Bad Guys!'" she explained. "And their leader isn't a werewolf! He's just a regular wolf!"
"A regular wolf?" Esmerelda peered closer at Mr. Wolf's picture. She rubbed her chin, puzzled. "Curious. But confusing."
"You can't be serious!" Sasha exclaimed.
"I'm afraid not, my dear. Someone or something wicked is targeting these Bad Guys! We must bring them to safety before it's too late!" Esmerelda insisted.
Sasha groaned. She did NOT want to work with any kind of criminals.
Rachel, however, sighed in defeat. "I know it sounds crazy, Sasha. But we need find these Bad Guys before anything happens to them. Who knows what kind of evil could do with hardened criminals like them?!"
Sasha frowned at her sister, but she knew this was an argument she was going to lose. It was her against Rachel and Esmerelda. "I still think that this is a bad idea. But I'll go along with it anyway. So, how exactly are we going to find the Bad Guys and convince them to join a couple of witches in training for protection against some incredibly evil junk we know nothing about?"
"Fear not! I shall pinpoint their location with my all-seeing power!" Esmerelda looked into her crystal ball. "Ah! Yes! I see them! The Bad Guys! They are going to be released early today for good behavior!"
Sasha scoffed. "Good behavior, my butt..."
"Sasha!" Rachel chided.
"What? Manipulating the system is a classic bad guy move!" Sasha retorted.
"As I was saying, here is their location." Esmerelda wrote it down on a piece of paper. "You girls better get going if you hope to catch up with them!" A thoughtful look came her face. "Perhaps you should bring them here to Spookelton Castle. That way, I can read their auras to detect any lies or wrongdoings they might have."
"Now that's a good idea!" Sasha said.
Rachel took the piece of paper. "Okay, we'll bring them right over."
At the Los Angeles prison, the Bad Guys, Wolf, Snake, Tarantula; aka Webs, Pirahna, and Shark had just been released from jail and are now with governor Diane Foxington, a red fox who was also a former criminal known as, 'The Crimson Paw'. She smiled as she arrived to pick up the now reformed Bad Guys. "Hey, guys! Ready to get to work?"
A cute brown kitten popped up and jumped into Mr. Wolf's arms. Wolf laughed as the adorable creature cuddled in his arms. Wolf and his friends got in the car and revved up the engine. "Webs, hit it."
Tarantula began playing music from her phone and the Bad Guys drove off to start their new lives.
"So, how about we pick up a birthday cake for a certain birthday boy?" Shark suggested, looking at Snake.
"I keep telling you, I'm not a cake guy!" Snake replied. "And I don't have to go big on my birthday."
"Bet you'd change your mind if we gave you a giftwrapped guinea pig." Wolf joked.
Snake just frowned "I'm not into guinea pigs anymore. Now, they just ruin my appetite."
Wolf and the gang paused from the reptile's words. A year ago, Professor Rupert Marmalade IV, an evil villain who happens to be a guinea pig, tried to use the Bad Guys as the perfect patsies to cover his tracks in order to steal a powerful meteorite that he planned to use to commit all kinds of nefarious crimes. Thankfully, the Bad Guys managed to stop him and put the rodent in jail where he belonged. So, the animals could understand why Snake detested guinea pigs now.
"So...no cake?" Pirahna asked out loud.
"Pirahna!" Snake chided.
Suddenly, Wolf's car completely came to a stop.
"Wolf?! What the thorax?!" Tarantula exclaimed.
Wolf tried to start the car, but he couldn't. "Diane, what's going on? I can't start this thing!" The gas tank was full, so what could have stopped it?
Diane adjusted her glasses. "I don't know. I checked everything! It shouldn't just break down like this!"
"Uh, excuse me."
The group of animals jumped and looked beside them to see young ladies wearing cloaks and holding broomsticks. Rachel, with Moon on her shoulder, smiled as she waved to the stunned animals. "Hello. Are you the Bad Guys?"
"Uh...yes..." Wolf said, staring at Rachel blankly. "And you are...?"
"I'm Rachel Jocklin. I'm the one who stopped your car." Rachel gestured to her sister. "And this is my sister, Sasha."
Sasha was silent as she pulled down her hood. Wolf could see that uncertain look in the girl's eyes as she had a cute black kitten riding her shoulder. He knows that look all too well. He and his friends have always been feared by the public due to their species being interpreted as 'bad' animals.
"We're sorry to inconvenience you, but we need you to come with us." said Rachel.
Diane stood up. "And why should they?" she asked.
"And how did you stop my car?" Wolf asked as well.
Rachel blinked. "Wait, are you...Diane Foxington, the governor?! What are you doing with the Bad Guys?!"
Suddenly, Lucky jumped out of Sasha's arms and hopped right onto Wolf's lap. "Lucky!" Sasha tried to retrieve her kitten. "Don't just jump around like that!" When she picked up Lucky, a corked bottle fell out of her cloak. Sasha gasped as Wolf picked up the bottle
"What's this?" Wolf looked at the bottle. It was a small blue bottle with a picture of a fairy on it. He put a hand toward the cork.
"NO! DON'T OPEN THAT!" Sasha blurted out, startling Wolf. Sasha blinked. "I mean, uh, it's, um..." She struggled to find the right excuse.
"Alright, what's going on?" Snake growled, getting irritated. "You chicks are up to something! Now, spill it!"
Before Rachel could say anything, Wolf started pulling on the cork.
"NO, WAIT!" Sasha screamed. She lunged to grab the bottle, but Wolf had already uncorked it. A huge cloud of sparkly blue powder flew out of the bottle and sprinkled over the Bad Guys and the Jocklin Sisters.
"Whoa!" Wolf yelped before everyone disappeared.
