Till The End Of Time
! Someone's POV !
I ran. Ran as fast as my legs would take me. With my partner, Maikai Bandit , we were unbeatable. Until today maybe... I noticed that Maikai was getting slower in speed, and this conserned me... We have just stolen the Golden Dragon Statue... Well Maikai did.... I just desposed of the guards... Heh... Weaklings they were. But if we don't gain faster speed we won't make it past the gates. So I turned around and picked Maikai up... Thank god for he is small and light. He wraped his small arms around my neck as we heard a clatter of horse hooves coming close. And I heard a fire from something. I looked back and saw a blue light heading straight for us. It came fast and just missed us... but left a cross shaped scar on my left cheek.
" Maikai, drop the Dragon! It's too heavy for us too keep... " I said to him.
Maikai opened his tired eyes " But we've come too far to let it go now.... " he replied in a raspy voice.
" Do you really think I would let us lose our lives just for some Golden Statue!? " I yelled.
Maikai shook his head slowly.
" Then drop it!! "
Maikai nodded and let it go.
I ran and was able to run faster now. I smirked as I saw two wolves waiting for us at the door. One was Silver with Ice Blue eyes. The other, my pet, was Midnight Black with Yellow eyes. I put Maikai on the Silver one and she took off without waiting for an order. I got on mine and we took off after Maikai and the Silver Wolf. (( Mind you these are over sized wolves, like Big Kirara's size ))
! End POV !
! Maikai's POV !
My eyes went wide with fear as we jumped over the side. I could feel my heart drop down to my stomach and I gripped Kantara fiercely with my thighs and desperately clung to her furry neck.
I heard Batosia scream with delight as we flew over the edge, and after we landed I couldn't look back over at him. We hit hard and I almost lost my balance, but I held on. I let out a breath I didn't realize I had been holding as my heartbeat raced faster then the beautiful creature under me.
When I felt like I could turn around, I looked behind us and saw that the guards on the horses had stopped at the edge, and the horses hooves were clawing desperately. I let out a sigh of relief and turned back around to see Batosia smiling back at me.
Ok people thats all for me tonight.... this is one of my best stories..... ((I hope))
