Chapter 1 Make Me Happy

Ichika's POV

My band and I were performing in Sekai with Miku.

We were performing 'Melt', one of my all time favorite Miku songs.

When we were done…everybody suddenly started applauding.

"Your singing was amazing today, Ichi-Chan", Saki stated.

"I agree", Honami revealed. "There was just something different about it today."

"For some reason, it sounded like you were singing with more emotion than usual", Shiho stated.

"Well", Miku started. "We were singing a love song. Ichika must have been thinking about a certain someone while she was singing."

"Miku", I scolded, as my face began turning red.

"Speaking of which", Miku started. "How'd your date with Tsukasa go last night?"

"It was wonderful", I replied as I clasped my hands together. "First, he took me to a restaurant. And then, he took me to go see a show afterwards."

"Wow", Shiho started. "He went all out."

"And then, Ichi-Chan's feet started hurting because of the new shoes we got her", Saki revealed. "So Onii-Chan carried her back to our house on his back. It was so romantic!"

"Well", Miku started. "I'm glad that it worked out. And I'm glad that you seem so happy, Ichika."

"I am", I stated. "Being with Tsukasa just makes me so happy."

Tsukasa's POV

I was practicing a love song for Wonderlands x Showtime's next show at the Wonder Stage.

When I was done, the rest of my troupe cheered for me.

"Tsukasa-Kun", Emu started. "That was super duper Wonderhoy!"

"There was something different about your singing today", Nene stated.

"Well", Rui started. "He was singing a love song, so he must've been thinking about Hoshino-San while he was performing."

"Nothing passes your eyes, director", I stated. "You are right! I was thinking about my beloved Ichika as I performed!"

"Tsukasa-Kun always sounds so happy when he talks about Ichika-Chan", Emu stated.

"That's because being with her makes me happy, Emu", I revealed. "So happy."

…

I had just returned to my house.

When I walked inside, I saw Saki sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Onii-Chan", she exclaimed when she saw me. "Welcome home!"

"I am home, my dear sister", I greeted before sitting down next to her. "How was band practice?"

"Well", Saki started. "We sang a love song, and Ichi-Chan was totally thinking about you while she was singing!"

"She was", I asked in shock.

Before Saki could continue…the front door suddenly opened once again.

"I'm home", a familiar voice greeted.

"Mom", Saki greeted before running up to her. "Welcome home!"

"Welcome home, dearest mother", I greeted as I walked up to her.

"Hello you two", she greeted. "I'm glad that you're both here. I wanted to ask you two if you had any plans for tomorrow night?"

"Plans for tomorrow night", Saki repeated in confusion. "Why do you ask?"

"Toya's older brother has returned from his music school in New York", my mother revealed. "I've invited the Aoyagi's over for dinner tomorrow night."
