Chapter 5: The Empress I Will Be
Lincoln has finally become the King of Jurassic World, but Morag puts her plan into action to stop the Louds from staying by using the sisters against him.
With him becoming the new King and finally being special like his sisters (if not, more so), he decided to give his best friend, Clyde a call to relay the good news. Unfortunately, this also meant telling him that him and his family would be staying in Jurassic World permanently.
"Hi, Lincoln!", Clyde said over the phone. "How's the best bud that a best bud could ever have enjoying his vacation?"
"You won't believe it, Clyde!", Lincoln said with excitement. "Turns out my family is prehistoric royalty, and I'm the new King of Jurassic World!"
During this conversation, Morag happened to walk by, rolling her eyes at Lincoln once again explaining how he's King. However, she decided to continue listening in.
"Holy dream puff! That's awesome!", Clyde reacted. "I guess since you're a King, you won't have to worry anymore about whether you're special".
"Yup! No more being stuck in my sisters' shadows!"
When Lincoln said this, Morag's eyes widened with excitement.
"Yes!", Clyde reacted.
"All hail the King!", Lincoln proclaimed.
"Wait, how are you gonna be the King of Jurassic World when you're back in Royal Woods? Do they have like, an exchange program?"
"Not exactly…", Lincoln said, nervously. "Which is why…", he braced himself, "we're moving to Isla Nublar!" Clyde was then silent. "Clyde?", Lincoln awaited a response.
"Lincoln! That is the coolest news!", Clyde said with a fake joy that Lincoln did not notice.
"It is? That's such a relief. I can't wait for you to come visit".
"Me too! I'd love to visit Jurassic World! Hey, I gotta go, but call me later 'cause I wanna hear all about your super-duper amazing life!", he hung up.
Back at Clyde's house, the boy had already made a welcome home cake for Lincoln, excited for his return. But now, Clyde realized that was not going to happen. With this, he was heartbroken, resulting in him crying into the cake he made, destroying it in the process.
"Ah, what a friend", Lincoln smiled, believing that Clyde was perfectly content with the situation.
"Yes, the sisters, that's it!", Morag whispered as she walked away.
The time has come to play pretend
And I'll trick Lincoln into thinking I'm his friend
And I'll humiliate the boy, you see
And drive the dinosaurs into oblivion for good
No, no, no, no, no!
I must do more
So other dinosaurs never set foot upon the shore
To stop them coming after me
I'll need the crown's authority for all to see
The Empress I must be!
It's what I started
I vow to finish
The reign of dinosaurs on this planet will diminish

This foolish island adores that boy
But I'll break their little hearts, oh, what a joy!
And with the Indominus on my side
I'll take the King up for a royal fight
What an embarrassing turn of events

Is it wrong to long for quiet?
Should I just let this island be?

The dinosaurs' screams will be heard across the sea
And then this world belongs to me
The Empress I will be!
Later, Morag stumbled out into a field where Lola and Lana were both playing and roughhousing with their dinosaurs. Lola was riding on Princess while Lana was riding on Cera as the two hard-headed dinosaurs kept playfully head-butted each other.
"Come on, Cera, let's show Lola and her Princess what for!", Lana proclaimed to her dinosaur.
"You're gonna regret messing with this Princess!", Lola joked.
"Oh, forgive me, may I interrupt?", Morag asked, politely.
"What is it Morag? I was just about to head-butt Lola", Lana said with a blank expression.
"Oh, I just came to admire how beautiful and majestic these creatures are", Morag pet Cera. "And that made me wonder, why would you limit yourself to the outside of the town like this? I know a lot of the people here are itching to see a good dinosaur fight between two of the Loud sisters' dinosaurs again".
"Hey, that sounds kinda cool, actually!", Lana reacted.
"Why didn't we think of this before?", Lola agreed.
"Wait, shouldn't we get Lincoln involved, too?", Lana asked.
"Oh, please, our King has several important duties to do today", Morag replied. "Besides, you don't want him taking up all the spotlight, do you?"
"Yeah, Lincoln can go off King-ing while the rest of us enjoy ourselves!", Lola agreed, falling into Morag's plan. "Now, come on, let's go find our other sisters!"
Meanwhile, somewhere deep in a forest of Jurassic World, an Oviraptor ran with a dinosaur egg in its clutches. It seemed to be running from something, but from what it was running from, we could not tell. That is, until several trees fell out of the way as Rexy with Lincoln on his back chased after the smaller dinosaur.
"Woohoo!", Lincoln cheered as he rode atop his Tyrannosaur. "Go get him, Rexy!", he pointed at the Oviraptor.
Within a matter of seconds, it did not take long for Rexy to catch up to the Oviraptor. Once she caught up to him, she bit her massive jaws into the much smaller dinosaur, and once she exerted enough bite force, the dinosaur perished, causing it to drop the egg it was carrying. Lincoln, being quick to react, jumped off of Rexy and caught the egg before it hit the ground.
"Don't worry, you're safe now, little one", Lincoln smiled as he held the dinosaur egg in his arms.
Rexy, being a hungry apex predator, started to eat away at the Oviraptor corpse as Angus approached them.
"Ah, excellent work, lad", Angus smiled. "And excellent work to you too, Rexy", he pet the T. Rex. In response, Rexy let out an irritated growl at Angus before resuming her feasting on her kill. "Oh, my apologies. I should know better than to interrupt when you're eating".
"I gotta say, getting to ride Rexy into battle is definitely a perk when it comes to being the King", Lincoln stated. "But I have to ask, why would we have to kill that other dinosaur?"
"Ah, I'm glad you asked, lad", Angus replied. "You see an important part of being Jurassic World's King is making sure balance is maintained in our ecosystem. I mentioned to you earlier that there have been a lot of egg-nabbing incidents lately, and it is your duty as King to make sure too much of it does not disrupt the natural balance of our ecosystem".
"Well, as King, I vow to return this egg to its rightful owner!", Lincoln declared. "Now, judging by how this egg looks, I'd say it's a…Triceratops…?"
"Correct!", Angus cheered. "I see my lessons have been paying off for ye".
"Are you kidding? Who wouldn't wanna learn more about dinosaurs?", Lincoln questioned, referring to how much he loved the prehistoric creatures. "But those Triceratops are pretty far away, so we're gonna need to take another ride to get there, but I think it's best to wait until Rexy's done with her meal first. She gets a little cranky when people interrupt her eating…"
"Oh, trust me, I've learned that myself", Angus joked, referring to the now funny incident that happened minutes ago.
Back with the Loud sisters, all of them were in an arena placed in the center of the town, where all of their dinosaurs would go head-to-head against each other. These dinosaurs would never fight to the death, for their bonds with the Loud siblings caused them all to have a mutual connection with each other, a connection of a mutual goal to protect the Louds, no matter the cost. These battles would simply be until the opposing dinosaur decided to yield. That's not to say there won't be any battle damage involved, though. In the stages of the arena, nearly every person in Jurassic World watched and cheered, some of them even holding up signs of the Loud sisters and others holding large, cardboard cut-outs of their favorite one. The first battle was about to begin, and the announcer from above spoke the crowd.
"Alright, Loud crowd are you ready to rumble?!", the announcer asked the audience.
"Yeah!", the audience yelled.
"What are we?!"
"Loud and proud!"
"That's what I like to hear! Now, without further ado, it's time to meet our first two opponents! First, we've got Allie the Allosaurus, owned by classic comedian, Luan Loud!"
When the announcer said this, the first gate opened, in which Allie walked out into the open arena, stomping her large feet while doing so. Next to her, Luan walked to her side with confidence. She then gave out a loud roar to the audience, causing the crowd to go wild again!
"What do you call a dinosaur wearing a cowboy hat and boots? A Tyrannosaurus Tex!", Luan joked, causing the audience to cheer.
The announcer continued. "Next, we got, in my opinion, one of the scariest looking dinosaurs I've ever met! Introducing Toro the Carnotaurus! He's owned by renowned rockstar and musician, Luna Loud!"
With this, another large gate opened, revealing Toro walking out with Luna next to him. Then, just like Allie, he gave confident roar to the audience, causing them to cheer once again.
Before the fight began, Luan and Luna approached each other.
"May the best dinosaur win, dude", Luna said to Luan.
"Likewise, Lunes", Luan agreed before they both shook hands.
Then, they both went back towards their dinosaurs.
"Let the epic battle begin!", the announcer declared.
Immediately when he did this, Toro and Allie charge at each other. Right when he did, Toro was able to get a good grip on Allie's neck!
"Don't let up, Toro!", Luna coached her dinosaur.
"Use your arms, Allie!", Luan ordered her Allosaurus.
Listening to her owner, Allie used her arm to scratch Toro with a large amount of force, causing the Carnotaurus to release from his bite on her neck. Allie, realizing she had a key advantage with her longer arms, charged at Toro, using her arms to scratch him up!
"Toro, your horns!", Luna yelled.
Hearing this, Toro used the two horns on his head to headbutt Allie in her chest, causing her to forcefully back off of him. The two dinosaurs then circled each other while snarling and roaring as the crowd continued to cheer.
Back in the forest, Lincoln gave the Triceratops egg back to its rightful mother and father by placing it the nest.
"There you go", Lincoln said as he pet the mother Triceratops.
"Lad, I think you're shaping up to be the King Jurassic World has been yearning for for so long", Angus smiled.
"Well, I couldn't have done it without you, Angus", smiled back.
As the two walked away from the Triceratops family, they started to hear some loud cheering coming from the town up ahead.
"Ooh, I think that cheering is coming from the town!", Angus pointed out.
"Looks like people are applauding my efforts as the King!", Lincoln said with confidence. "Come on, let's go check it out!"
"Lincoln, wait!", Angus said as Lincoln ran at a faster pace than he did.
As Lincoln kept running, he saw that the people were not cheering for him, for they were all gathered around a large arena. On the arena's outer walls was a live broadcasting of an epic battle between a Carnotaurus and an Allosaurus. Lincoln ran towards it, but as he did, he was hit in the face by a flyer of some kind. Removing the paper from his head, he took a look at it, and when he did, his heart sunk, for he was now dealing with the same thing he dealt with back in Royal Woods. On the flyer was a picture of the ten Loud sisters and it read, "Loud Sisters Dinosaur Royale!" on its title.
"Lincoln, is everything alright?", Angus asked as he caught up to the boy.
Ignoring him, Lincoln ran towards the people around the arena, but before he could, he ended up being trampled by the crowd rushing towards it. Once he got back up, he heard the crowd chanting something.
"Loud sisters, hoo! Loud sisters, ha! Loud sisters, ho, ho, ho!", the crowd chanted.
With this, Lincoln looked on with sadness as he felt a strong sense of déjà vu kick in, feeling that same feeling of being stuck in his sisters' shadows.
"Oh, poor, poor King…", Morag pitied Lincoln, approaching him.
Back in the Castle of the Jurassic, Lincoln sat in an armchair, drinking some cocoa as Morag placed some bunny slippers on his feet.
"It's not fair!", Lincoln proclaimed. "I'm the King. I'm supposed to be the most special Loud of them all!"
"Not stuck in your sisters' shadows", Morag agreed.
"That's what I always say", Lincoln said.
"Is it now…?", Morag gave a somewhat devious look. "Well, I know something you and I could do that could put the proper spotlight back on the King".
"Really?!", an excited Lincoln asked.
"Of course. If you just follow me, I can take you somewhere where you'll finally be able to be special again…"
"Great! When do we leave?"
"Right now, of course!"
"Well, I'll go get ready!", Lincoln said as he got up and left the room him and Morag were in.
Once he left, Morag gave a devilish smirk as she pulled out her phone again. "Good, you're finally here", she said to someone on the phone. "Yes, meet us on the hill over the shore", she said before putting the phone away.
Later, her and Lincoln walked through the town, where they eventually got to the hill Morag spoke of.
"So, what is it you wanted to show me about me being special?", Lincoln asked Morag. "Will I get to ride the Mosasaurus or something?"
"Oh, no, nothing of the sort", Morag answered. "Your chance to become special once again has already come!"
Right when she said this, about ten people in army suits emerged from the bushes and pointed their guns as the Loud boy!
"Uh, Morag, what's going on…?", a worried Lincoln asked.
"Oh, you'll find out eventually…", Morag answered. "Boys! Tranquilize him!"
The men in camouflage uniforms cocked their guns at Lincoln, but right when they did, from the trees, an old friend of the Loud boy's emerged. You guessed it! Rexy was back, and she was not about to let these men do this to her owner, King, and most of all, her friend. To intimidate them, she let out another massive roar. However, most of the army men maintained their stoic expressions, almost as if they were expecting this to happen.
"Right on schedule…", Morag smirked. "Shoot her!"
"No! Don't hurt Rexy!", Lincoln begged in vain.
One of the army men hit Rexy with a tranquilizer gun. Given her massive eyes, it had now affect on her. All it did was irritate her, causing her to use her massive jaws to snatch one of Morag's men up and swallow him whole.
"Stop! What are you doing?!", Lincoln exclaimed. "You're gonna hurt her!", he couldn't help but punch Morag.
"Stupid, feather-brained boy!", Morag yelled as she used her own tranquilizer gun on Lincoln, placing him unconscious in the process.
Rexy immediately noticed this and when she saw her best friend and owner be harmed in such a way, she became extremely enraged. With her newfound rage, she bit into another army man and squashed another into pulp with her massive foot.
"Don't just stand there, shoot her!", Morag demanded.
Rexy let out another roar as more army men shot her with their tranquilizers, but the Tyrannosaurus was one of the largest carnivores to ever walk the planet, and it would take quite a few shots to tranquilize her sooner rather than later. Rexy continued wreaking havoc upon Morag's soldiers until she killed them all and charged towards Morag herself.
"Stay down, beast!", Morag declared as shot Rexy in the face with another tranquilizer. With this shot, Rexy was now paralyzed, causing her to fall to the ground and go unconscious.
When the deed was done, a helicopter carrying a large crate fit for Rexy's size descended to the ground. "Perfect timing", Morag smiled.
Back at the arena, the fight with Toro and Allie finally concluded, with Allie emerging victorious. Toro lay on the ground with Allie placing her foot on him. She then gave out a bellowing roar to her defeated opponent's face. In response, Toro let out another roar, indicating his acceptance that he was defeated as well as his surrender.
"And the winner is Allie the Allosaurus!", the announcer declared to the audience.
"Good game, sis", Luna said as she approached Luan.
"Good game, Luna", Luan agreed as the two shook hands.
In the area where some of the Loud sisters were waiting for their turn, Lori and Leni sat and waited for their turn. Lori, however, noticed that Leni was not in the best of moods.
"You alright, Leni?", Lori asked her sister.
"Yeah, it's just, I wish Linky was able to join us…", Leni replied. "I just feel like he's missing out on all this family fun".
"Look Leni…", Lori replied with sympathy, "Lincoln's the King now, and he's really busy. I'm sure he'd join us if he could…"
Then, to their surprise, Angus entered their waiting room in a rather urgent manner.
"Oh, hey, Angus!", Leni said with joy. "What are you doing here? Do you have your own dinosaur, too?!"
"Girls, I'm afraid I have some urgently bad news!", Angus said to the two of them. "Our King has gone missing!"
"What?!", Lori and Leni both reacted.
"But I have a suspicion as to who the perpetrator of it is, but we're gonna have to call of your 'dinosaur battle royale'", Angus continued.
"If it means getting our baby bro back, we'll gladly call of our dinosaur fight", Lori said with confidence.
Back on the island's outskirts, the unconscious Rexy was being boarded on a large boat off the shore by the helicopter while Morag was a passenger in a truck with another one of her men driving it. Lincoln was still unconscious and in the truck's bed. Eventually, the truck boarded the boat, where other army men were already present, as well as Rexy in her create.
"It is our pleasure to serve you, Morag", one of the men said to her.
"It's Queen Morag to you", Morag replied. "Oh, I must say, this has to be one of my better plans yet! And that's something when outsmarting the so called 'man with the plan'. Having the people of Jurassic World distracted by the Loud sisters and using poor Lincoln's desperation to be special to lure him into our trap was perfect!", she then approached the unconscious Rexy. "And you, Rexy, you will serve as the perfect part of my new dinosaur", she said before she laughed evilly. "You there, fetch me the crown!"
"Yes, ma'am!", one of the men said before removing the crown from Lincoln's head and handing it to Morag.
"All hail the Queen of Jurassic World!", Morag declared as she put the hat on. "Now, set course for Isla Sorna!", she ordered her people. "And while you're at it, take these two abominations to the lower depths of the ship!", she directed her attention to Lincoln and Rexy.
And now, the ship carrying the captured Lincoln and Rexy sailed away from Isla Nublar. It seems that Morag's diabolical plan is now fully set in motion. And now, there are many questions that need answered. What is this "Isla Sorna" island? Why does Morag want to capture Rexy specifically? And what is this Indominus Rex she has spoken so much about? And will the Louds find a way to rescue their beloved son and brother?
