Sonata sighs while walking up the stairs to Gintoki's door. She was going to knock, but she stopped herself. Maybe telling him isn't a good idea, but he needs to know. I can not keep this from him. Sonata calms her nerves, gathers her courage then knocks on his door. She heard footsteps. She was going to run away but held her ground. It's time to be a woman. A few seconds later, Gintoki opens the door staring at her with sleepy eyes.

"What the hell do you want?" He asked. He took a second look at her. "Oh, it's you, Sonata." He opened the door, then gently held her hand. "I haven't seen you in a while. What are you doing here?" She stares at him. She wanted to run like hell right now. "Can we talk?" He opens his door wider to let her in. They walked over to the couch, then sat down. Sonata has both hands on her lap while tapping her fingers against her thighs. Gintoki stares at her with his eyebrow raised while drinking a carton of strawberry milk. She looks his way, then smiles. "I thought you came here to talk?"

"Oh. Um yeah, I did. Well, you know Gintoki. We have been dating for seven months, and I like you. Very much. I don't know why, but I do. What I'm about to tell you. I hope you won't be too immature about it?" He hunches his shoulders. "It depends on what you are going to tell me." He thought about it, then figured it out. "I know what the problem is." Her eyes widen. Shit, he knows. "You are dumping me. Fuck, I should have seen this coming. Be honest with me. It's my hair, isn't it?"

"No, no, it's not your hair Gintoki." She touches his head. "I love your hair. And dumping you is not what I am thinking. It's just that, Ummm. H-How can I put this?"

"Put, what?"

"Well, Ummm." He raises his eyebrow. "Spit It out."

I'm Pregnant. Say it, Sonata. GO AHEAD! She shouted in her mind. Gintoki snaps his fingers in front of her face. "Hey, why are you spacing out? What's wrong with you?" She shakes her head. "Uhhh. It's nothing. Don't worry about it. I was thinking about something important."

"Like what?"

"It doesn't matter."

"Okay, but you said you need to talk."

"Not anymore. I'm fine. So let's forget about it." He stares at her for a few seconds, then shrugs. "Okay." Here's your chance Sonata. Tell him you are pregnant. DO IT NOW! "Gintoki." He turns around with cake frosting all over his face. "Huh?"

"I just wanted to tell you that." She froze. She couldn't do it, so she sighed. "What a wimp I am," she mumbled. She had to change the subject. "How did you get your hair so... So silver?" She asked, smiling while running her fingers through his hair. You are a dumbass. That is not what you wanted to tell him. Gin stares at her, like what? "And they call me stupid. I was born like this Sonata. You know this already." She chuckles. "Right. Silly me." Gin wraps his arms around her waist. "Come here." He leaned in and started kissing her on the cheek. She turned and pressed her lips against his. She smiles because this is the sweetest kiss he ever gave her. When her stomach started acting up, she pulled away from the kiss, then gently pushed him back. "What's wrong? If I did something to make you uncomfortable, tell me." She shakes her head. "No. It's just I don't feel well today." She held her stomach. "Oh. That time again, huh?" He stood up to look for his Jump manga.

Funny. I won't be getting that time again for the next nine months. "Yeah, it's that time. Silly me." She laughs a little. "Oh. Well, I will hang out with Kagura-chan and glasses boy again." She nods. "Of course, they're the only friends you have, right?" Sonata laughs. He scowls at her. "Don't get smart. So, do you want to do something tomorrow?"

No, because I'm pregnant. "Sorry, I can't, Gintoki." He nods. "Oh. Well, what about the next day?" She shakes her head. "No." Gintoki turns around. "Sonata, I haven't seen you for a month. Since you are here, I want to spend time with you. Why did you turn me down twice? What is going on?"

She went quiet for a few seconds, then spoke. "It's nothing. I just came over to see you." She stood up. "Well, I have to go. I will see you later, Gintoki. Bye." She tried to run, but he grabbed her by the waist. "Gintoki, let go."

"You will see me, huh?" He narrows his eyes. "You're lying." She shakes her head. "No-no, I'm not. Everything is fine." She kissed him on the cheek. "I'll be going now." He sighed as she walked to the door. "Okay fine. See you next week, then?" Sonata stood in the doorway, putting a hand on her stomach. She frowns, then puts on a fake smile. "Sure."

"Alright then. Well, meet up next week." She turns away, then frowns. "Yeah." She walks out the door, then closes it. She leans her back against his door, then sighs. "Goodbye, Gin. Forever," she whispers while walking away.
