"So that's our mission huh" Genya asked.
"Yeah but why do we have to go why not send more than one hashira Bell asked"
"I think the reason they even assigned Rengoku is so he can make sure we don't wreck whatever famalia's house we destroy" Zenitsu said as he walked through the gate.
"So make sure Inoskue behaves got it" Bell quipped then ducked a playful punch from Inosuke.
"Now now children settle down we don't want to get exiled already the master will be very disappointed" Rengoku chided. "Also Bell remember to keep your blades hidden until we go into the dungeon, we wouldn't want anyone to get any ideas now do we" Rengoku joked.
"Well unless the cut my arms off they won't but I'll keep them hidden for the time being don't feel like answering questions about them" Bell replied.
"There's people staring at us" Zenitsu said worriedly.
"Hmm wonder why" Inosuke Asked.
The group stopped walking and just looked at him.
"What" Inosuke asked.
"Nevermind Rengoku what's the plan"Bell asked.
"First we find lodgings and then look for a famailia to join after that I will send a Raven to master to let him know we're safe and situated" Rangoku said.
"I have a question though how come it's just us five why not the rest of the hashira and the demon slayer corp".Genya asked.
"I'm glad you asked young Genya right now the demon slayer corp is spread to thin and since three of you came back from the mountain barely alive and Genya and Bell can't use breathing styles the master believed that it would be better for you to train here in orario" Rengoku explained as he grabbed an apple from a stand and bought it.
"So to summarize spread to thin and you're here so we don't traumatize a god or goddess right" Zenitsu asked.
"Correct, ah here we are got a tip that this place would be a good lodging area while we look for a familia" Rengoku said.
"Hostess of fertility huh, Zenitsu don't get any ideas" Bell said watching Zenitsu deflate.
"Aw but why not" Zenitsu asked.
"Cause I don't feel like sleeping in the street now behave when we walk in" Bell said.
Zenitsu didn't say anything as the group walked in. The waitress staff looked at them weirdly until a girl with grey hair approached the group.
"Um hi there my name is Syr Flova Uh how can I help you today" she asked.
"Hi yes we would like to rent rooms for five people is that is possible" Rengoku asked.
"Uh sure that'll be 5,000 valis and why five when there's only four of you" Syr said.
The group quickly looked around and saw that Inosuke had wandered off.
"God damnit Genya I thought you were watching him" Bell said.
"Me I thought it was your turn" Genya responded.
"Children settle down now Inosuke will be easy to find he wears a boar head for gods sake. So here's the plan Bell since your sense of smell is better than ours you go and look for him while we unpack then we'll join you sound good" Rengoku said.
"Got it but you better find a familia while I'm gone see you guys in a bit" Bell said as he dropped his back on the ground and ran off.
Syr and the rest of the waitstaff watched as Bell went through the door and disappeared outside.
"Um does this always happen" Syr asked.
"You have no idea Rengoku said pinching the bridge of his nose. "Now then can you show is to our rooms please" Rengoku asked as he flashed her his signature smile.
Syr showed the remaining slayers to their room while Bell was out searching for Inosuke. Now while Bell could easily find Inosuke he was having trouble finding him considering how big orario is. Considering all the new smells and the fact that the streets were filled with people Bell knew it was gonna be a while.
"I'm gonna beat this pigs ass when I find him" Bell said to himself.
As Bell kept running through the city he felt a pair of eyes on him. He quickly spun around only to see nobody looking at him.
"Huh weird" he thought.
As he turned around to start running again he smacked his head into what felt like smelted steel.
"Ow fuck" Bell said as he fell to the ground grasping his head. As his hand was rubbing the bump on his forehead his sleeve slipped down a little. As Bell was about to get backup however he felt a hand grasp his wrist while another grasped the rest of his sleeve and was pulled.
Bell quickly pulled his arm away and got backup putting some distance between him and his assailant.
"The hell lady it's rude to grab someone like that" Bell chided.
"Where'd you get those burns kid" the red headed woman asked.
"None of your damn business now if you'll excuse me I need to find my friend" Bell said.
As Bell went to walk away however he felt someone grab the back of his shirt and lift him up. Bell swung his fist back and felt it connect only for the person holding him to not move.
"Well I'm fucked" Bell thought.
"How dare you touch lady Rivera human" a blond elf shouted.
"Bitch she grabbed me first what goes around comes around now put me down damnit" Bell replied.
"Child please calm down we're not going to hurt you our goddess just has a question for you and then you'll be on your way" Rivera said calmly.
Bell took a deep breath so he wouldn't do something that would get the corp in trouble. "Alright fine ask away what do you want" Bell said.
"Thank you and after we'll help you look for your friend deal" Riveria said.
"Alright fine just ask the question cause knowing that dumbass he's probably gotten himself in trouble Bell said.
"Where'd you get those weapons kid" Loki asked.
"How do you know about the weapons I have" Bell asked as he raised an eye in suspicion.
"Because of the burn marks on your arms they're chains so I'll ask again where did you find them" Loki demanded.
"I'm gonna be honest with ya I don't really know. All I know is that I felt like it was calling to me like a whistle. When I followed it I was these blades in a cave. Having a feeling that they were the thing calling me I picked them up and the next this I knew I woke up with burns on my arms" Bell explained.
"So you have no memory of why they called out to you" Loki asked.
"No none at all and why do you care about these blades so much" Bell asked.
"Cause they belonged to my father a long time ago" Loki said.
"Oh well I'm sorry that I have them but I don't know how to take them off believe me I've tried" Bell said.
"Oh I believe you don't worry the old man never told me how he got them off. Say kid swing by my famiala's home later I have a hunch" Loki said.
"Alright now that that's taken care of what does your friend look like" Riveria asked.
"Well you won't miss him if you find him he wears a boars head,no shirt and looks like a girl without the boars head" Bell said.
"Wait what do you mean a boars head" Riveria asked.
"He grew up in the mountains and was raised by boars I guess anyway of you find him tell him to go to the hostess of fertility. Wait nevermind he doesn't know where that is just show him thanks bye" Bell said as he ran off again.
"Well he was odd" Riveria said.
"Still a filthy human has no right touching you lady Riveria why should we help him anyway he's not even part of our familia"Lefyia said.
"Lefyia I grabbed him he was only acting in self defense and it doesn't matter if he's in our familia or not our job is to help wherever needed understand" Riveria said.
"Yes ma'am" Lefyia grumbled.
"You're awfully quiet over there Loki something wrong" Riveria asked.
"It's just been a while since I've seen those blades I thought they were lost forever" Loki replied.
With that conversation over the three woman started heading out into the city to look for the boar man. After another hour of searching Bell finally caught Inosuke's scent and found him at a potato stand.
"Looks like he's arguing with the stand owner" Bell thought as he approached. Bell then approached the stand and smacked Inosuke in the back of the head.
"Ow the hell was that for" Inosuke asked.
"I've have been searching for you for 2 hours how the fuck did you wander off this far, you know what nevermind I'll let Rengoku deal with you" Bell said as he started dragging Inosuke away.
As the two were walking back they passed the Tower of Babel and stopped to take a look at it.
"Man that thing is huge" Inosuke said.
"That's what she said"Bell replied
Before Inosuke could respond however both of them heard a guttural roar come from the entrance. Both turned and watched as a giant monkey came out of the door.
"Well then that's not something you expect to see" Bell quipped.
"I'm gonna kick it's ass" Inosuke yelled as he charged towards the monkey.
"Inosuke wait, Goddamnit" Bell said as he unsheathed his blades and charged with Inosuke.
Bell knew there was a very slim chance of winning considering he can't use breathing techniques and both he and Inosuke don't have a falna yet. But Bell knew they weren't trying to win just trying to buy time and he thinks Inosuke knew that to.
Bell watched as Inosuke dodged a punch from the silverback by sliding under its legs and jumping up onto its back stabbing his swords into it.
"I know Rengoku told me to hide them but eh duty calls" Bell thought before igniting the blades of chaos and swinging at the silverbacks legs catching them on fire.
Inosuke seeing this jumps off the silverback as it roars in pain and charges towards Bell. Inosuke intercepted the beast jumping up and stabbing one of its eyes out half blinding the creature. The silverback retaliated by swinging it's fist into Inosuke sending him flying though the roof of a building knocking him unconscious.
"Well fuck looks like it's just me and you monkey" Bell said.
The silverback let out a mighty roar and charged but not at Bell. About 50 feet away a little girl was hiding under a cart terrified. Bell thinking quickly threw the blades of chaos into the silverbacks back and started to pull.
"RUN NOW LITTLE GIRL I CAN'T HOLD IT FOR LONG"Bell shouted.
The girl listened to Bell and ran right as the silverback grabbed one of Bells blades and pulled it towards him. Bell not being able to drop the blades as they're burned onto his skin was also pulled along with them. When Bell was in range with the silverback it punched him in the chest sending him flying through the wall of a house being partially buried in rubble.
"Ow I'm in a lot of pain,well we did our best let's just hope we bought enough time" Bell thought.
Bell strained his head up and saw the silverback coming towards him.
"Oh you ready for round two" Bell joked.
The silverback roared as it lifted its fists up into the air but was stopped when both its hands were cut off as well as its head. Blood rained down from the sky covering Bell in it. But he didn't mind he was just glad to be alive. As he laid there in the rubble he felt some of it begin to move. Bell opened his eyes and saw an Amazon picking up the rubble.
"Hey little guy you ok the mean old monkey didn't hurt you to bad right" the woman asked.
"My friend is he okay" Bell choked out now realizing how much pain he was in thanks to the adrenaline wearing off.
"Yeah he's fine even though he wears a boar head I'm asking how you feel" the woman replied.
"Like I got launched through a house by a giant monkey" Bell quipped.
The woman giggled at his joke and helped him up to his feet allowing Bell to lean on her for support.
"Well now that your out of that rubble allow me to introduce myself I'm Tiona Hyrute of the Loki familia you?"she questioned.
"Names Bell just Bell and I'm not part of a familia" he responded.
Tiona looked at him shocked it's not everyday you hear something like that.
"That's so cool you're just like a hero how even when the odds were stacked against you, you still fought and how you saved that little girl by holding the silverback in place was awesome" Tiona pretty much fangirled.
"Eh it's not that impressive I mean you cut its head and hands off in a single swipe now that's cool" Bell replied.
"Oh and you're humble to how nice. Anyway where are you and your friend staying me and my sister can help you back" Tiona said.
"We're staying at the hostess of fertility should be close be" Bell said.
"Oh I love that place they have the best food" Tiona replied excitedly.
"Well I'll have to try some but right now I just need to make sure my idiot friend gets home" Bell replied.
"So selfless" Tiona quipped.
So Bell and Tiona walked while Tione was helping Inosuke. Bell and Tiona talked nonstop on the way talking about hero stories while Inosuke and Tione just judged them from behind.
"Is he always like this" Tione asked Inosuke.
"Hasn't been like this for a while" Inosuke responded.
After a couple more minutes Inosuke told Tione that he could walk on his own and walked all of two steps before falling back down. Bell turned around and told her that's just how he acts and is not doing it to flirt with her.
"So what is it like living with him" Tiona asked.
"Well with him around there's never a dull moment I actually just spent two hours looking around the city for his dumbass" Bell replied.
After Bell said that they finally arrived at the hostess and walked up the stairs seeing Rengoku,Genya and Zenitsu sitting at a table. Rengoku sensing them come in turns around to greet them and then sees they state they're in.
"My god what happened to you two" Rengoku asked.
"Giant monkey" Bell said and sat next to Genya.
He thanked Tiona and Tione for the help and they bid him farewell.
"Not even here a day and Bell already brought a girl back with him" Genya joked.
"You're lucky I'm hurt or else I'd punch you in the dick" Bell retorted.
After the situation calmed down a little and Rengoku gave them potions to speed along Bell and Inosuke's recovery they got down to business.
"So who's familia are we joining" Bell asked.
"New goddess that just came down names Hestia" Rengoku said.
