Sofia - Handholding
Summary: Both Cordelia and Cedric were arguing a lot and so both Sofia and Calista make wish using the wishing well and the results were rather interesting...
A Magical Sticky Situation
Today was a typical day for Princess Sofia as she excitedly walks up the stairs to Cedric's tower, but as she got closer, she could heard raised voices and then she spots an upset Calista sitting outside.
"Calista..." Sofia was all she said as the younger girl ran into her arms crying.
"Mummy and Uncle Ceddy had been fighting a lot lately, I wish that they would along again."
Sofia thinks about it and then she looks at the raised voices and back at crying Calista.
"I think I might have an idea, come on." she said leading the young girl out of castle and towards a barely used part of castle's vast gardens, towards a rusty and broken gate.
With great care, Sofia opens the gate and heads towards what looks like a water well, but Calista was surprised to see instead of a hole, it had a creepy look sun face in it place and she nearly jumps out of her skin when it started to speak.
"Give me your riches and I will grant you three wishes."
Sofia reaches into her pocket and pulls out a simple look ruby and tosses it into the mouth of the face and turns to Calista and said.
"Calista make your wish, but use your words carefully."
Nervous Calista turns towards the well and said, "I wish my Mummy and Uncle Ceddy would stop arguing and were close again once more."
"Your wish is granted."
With that Calista runs back towards her Uncle's tower with Sofia not far behind, as they burst through the door, to see both Cedric and Cordelia struggling to both pull away from each other as they were attached by their hands fall over in the process.
"Oh dear! What happened?" Calista asked concerned as they helped them up.
"I am not sure, one minute we were talking about who would be better suited for magic, when all of sudden our hands were pulled together and we are stuck as if we dipped our hands magic glue." Cedric explained.
Cordelia scoffs, "I am sure you did something, this has you written all over it!"
"Me! What about you! You are always showing me up! Whenever you need me to watch Calista, you don't care if I am busy or not!"
Cordelia sneers, "As if I need you! Once I figure out how to get us out of this mess, you will never see me or Calista again!"
"Mummy!" Calista gasped shocked
Cedric scoffs "Your bluffing, you need me to be your servant and scapegoat!"
the music is starting to play.
Cordelia sings
I need you like a hole in the head
Cedric sing back
And I need you like a bug in the bed"
Cordelia scoffs as she sings
You constantly bite the hand that help you.
Both sings in each in others faces angrily.
"Who need ya? not me"
Cedric:
"I need you like a thorn in my side!"
Cordelia:
"Oh yeah? and I need you like a bottle of muck!
You truly are a disgrace to everyone around you!
Cedric:
"who need ya not me!
Cordelia:
Who need you?
You useless miserable man
Your ugly as sin
And who need you
You status is your finest feature
Cedric:
You 're shallow and a bore
Bragging about you untrue talents.
Cordelia
Oh I need you like a rock in my shoe
Cedric:
And I need you like a migraine
I m shocked and appalled by your behavior
Cordelia
Don't try being nice cause that won't save ya
I m better off without you I can see
so who need ya? not me
Cedric
I need you like a dragon pox in July
Cordelia:
And I need you like an unpleasant smell
of all the people I am related too
Not one precedes you
Both

Cedric:
I need you like a disease
Oh ho and I need you like snakes on my head
For quickness of Mind
A rock out speeds you

Cordelia:
who need you?
You lazy man
All you do twitter and squawk
And you re knock kneed when you walk.
Cedric:
And you who need you?
Ya flat footed fashion blind whiner
You re bitter mad and sad
Cause you re as ugly your cracked reflection
Cordelia:
oh I need you like I need a dog brether potion
I lift a rock and find you underneath
I m deeply upset by your demeanor
I know that I m mean
But you re getting meaner
Cedric:
No more unlikely pair could even be
The word is incompatibility
Not only that
we don't go on you see
So who need you
Expect for the people who pity you!
Cordelia:
Who need ye?
Cedric:

"Stop fighting! Don't you see that this is the reason for why you were wished into this situation!" Sofia shouts.
That got their attention as they looked at both girl who were looking guilty.
"What do you mean by wish?" Cedric asked
Cordelia looks to her daughter sternly, while Cedric did the same to Sofia.
"Calista."
"Sofia."
"Explain." They said in unison.
A simple explanation later.
"and now we have to fine away to back to the wished well without you two being seen." Calista said.
Just then Baileywick peeks his head in saying.
"There you are Cedric, the King would like to see you in his office in an hour from now."
After Baileywick left, Cedric started to panic, pacing, uncaring that he was dragging a protesting Cordelia along until she forcibly stops and causing him to crash back into her.
"Clumsy oaf!" Cordelia said
"Selfish witch!" Cedric shots back
"STOP! Look let's just go back to tell wishing well, have Calista undo the wish and we can pretend this never happened." Sofia states.
Calista was not happy to hear this as she cries out, "Pretend? Pretend that my Uncle and Mom hate each other, pretend that I might never see my Uncle again, you know what I am not to undo this, I am not!" with that Calista runs out the door and down the stairs, ignoring the shout of her Uncle, mother and friend as she accidently magic herself away, much to the dismay of everyone.
When Calista reappeared, she was now sitting what appears to be a study of sorts, but amount of dust showed that lack of use and care it had received.
"Hello? Anyone in here?" a voice said.
Calista was startled and so she did only thing she could, hide.
After a few moments of heart pounding tension, Calista waited until the voice and footsteps disappeared before coming out, thinking for a brief moment she was safe until she grabbed by the back of her robes and was brought face to face with mysterious figure.
Meanwhile Cedric and Cordelia were once more bickering about who fault it was for Calista running off, when Sofia finally lost it.
"SHUT UP! IT'S BOTH YOUR FAULTS, IF YOU BOTH STOPPED AND TALKED ALITTLE BIT NICER TO EACH OTHER, THEN WE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS MESS, NOW ALL I WANT YOU TO DO IS SHUT UP AND FOLLOW ME TO THE WELL AND I WILL UNDO THIS AND THEN WE CAN GO FIND CALISTA AND YOU WILL APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR AND PUT IT BEHIND YOU, AM I UNDERSTOOD?!"
Both Cedric and Cordelia nodded and followed the now steamed Princess.
Back with Calista who was about to plead for her life, when the mysterious figure turned out to be King Roland.
"Um...hi King Roland how nice to see you again, is this your study? Why is it so dusty?" She asked.
The man said nothing as he continues to study her closely, before his face went pale and he accidently drops her onto the ground.
"No you can't be your dead, I killed you, I am sorry! I didn't know that my wish would kill you, I was so desperate for children, I didn't know that the price would be your life."
Calista looks at the man concerned and fearful at the same time as she slowly crawls away from him, she spots a picture of Roland standing with a beautiful looking woman that bore a striking resemblance to her mother, but in her uncle's robes and clothes.
But before she could even think the man snaps out of his state and said coldly, "Who are you and what are you doing here, why do you look like her?"
"I am Calista and I am from Enchancia, my Uncle Cedric is the royal Sorcerer, it must be my magic accidently sent me to alternate timeline, where my Uncle, who I guess is my Aunt here and married you, unable to bare children, you were so desperate that you wished for children, only for your wife to pay with her life. Can you please help me get back to my timeline."
"Umm...I believe you, and yes I will, now follow me and if I am correct, if both timelines merge at the same time, it will cause a portal to open up and you will be able to go back to your time."
Calista just nods, not really understanding any of what he was saying as she ponders why her magic sent her here and decided to just go with it.
"King Roland sir, did you ever get into fights with your siblings?" she asked curious as they got closer to garden where the wishing well sat.
"Yes I did, Cedrica even tried to get us to stop fighting by wishing for us to be closer like brother and Sisters should be, but in the end we did learned to work as a team and even learned how to talk more calmly and listen to each other, but it didn't mean we didn't fight or disagree on things, disagreements are just apart of life, without them we wouldn't be able to learn and grow past it."
Meanwhile back at the original timeline Sofia was marching with determination in her step as she walks towards the wishing well followed by Cedric and Cordelia.
"Give me your riches and I will grant you three wishes."
Sofia simply give it another ruby and said, "I wish for Cedric and Cordelia to be back normal and for Calista to be back from wherever she is." do you understand ?
After she said that a magical portal opened up to drop a dazed Calista onto the ground, where she was soon surround by three happy, not stuck together family and friend.
After making sure all was well, Cedric and Cordelia apologized to Calista for their behavior and promised to not fight so much, but Calista surprised them by saying.
"That is okay, someone told me that disagreements are apart of life and that it's our choice to learn and grow pass it and I am sorry for wishing you to be stuck together, please don't stop me from seeing my Uncle please Mummy." she pleaded looking at her mother.
Cordelia signs heavily as she said, "I might have been a bit rash with my choice of words, but you can know that I would never keep you from your Uncle, it wouldn't fair or right for me to do so."
Cedric pipes in saying, "Just know that no matter what we all love you Calista, no amount of disagreements are going to change that."
"Your uncle is right, now Cedric, Cordelia since you are here, you can destroy that well for me." King Roland said startling everyone here a bit by his sudden appearance, before both adult magic users just nod and soon enough the well that once stood proudly was now a pile of ashes.
"So Dad, how did you know to find us?" Sofia asked after they left the gardens for the final time watching as Cedric had Calista asleep on his shoulders, while he talked with Cordelia in hushed soft tones.
Roland smiles, "Would you believe in "Father Intuition?"
Sofia just shakes her head,
Roland chuckles, "Fine I followed you and overheard your conversation and decided that it was high to destroy that well once for all."
"I am glad, you did, we don't need anymore issues involving wish magic, I just want to go take a nap now." Sofia states.
Roland chuckles and said "You read my mind."
