Foolish Infatuations- a Shaman King story.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Shaman King.
This was inspired by a line in Satine89's "Remains of the Dawn.
There you go. Once again, she's influenced me. --;
Well, the character in this story isn't a real person. Then again, none of the characters are, but he's not a real character in the series. I felt bad for Tamao, but I know next to nothing about her, so I stuck with the information on her that I knew.
Reviews are appreciated!
--Foolish Infatuations--
Tamao was always so pretty and cute. No matter that she was clumsy, or that her skills were never too strong.
He, like her, had been Asakura apprenticed, and knew of her foolish infatuation with Master Yoh.
He, like her, suffered from a foolish infatuation at all. Not on Master Yoh, of course.
Mistress Anna? Of course not! She's one hell of a bitch, blunt beautiful bitch, but one he'd never EVER be infatuated with.
No, his foolish foolish infatuation was due on Tamao. Tamao, with her pretty hair and pretty face...
He was gifted with Far-sight, and could, safely from the Asakura home, see across the expanse of the entire globe if he wished. Well, his power was locked away by Yoh's grandfather, so he couldn't hurt himself, but he could at least see as far away as Tokyo. And he could see Tamao.
He knew Tamao would reject him if he spoke up, knew that she would hold out only for Master Yoh to come along and confess his undying love. He could only feel sick at the thought, and could only hide his feelings, knowing that they would forever be unrequited, these foolish infatuations that the Asakura apprentices always seemed to be cursed with.
He watched with silence, watching as Tamao grew further in love with Master Yoh, while Yoh and Anna grew closer in love together. He felt sick, knowing that this was breaking Tamao's heart, and knowing that his heart was breaking as well.
At the time of the Shaman tournament, his Far-Sight was unlocked, so he could look over the contestants looking for the Patch Village, and he watched as Tamao risked her life for Yoh, knowing that he'd forever be Anna's. And his heart ached along with hers. Couldn't she see they were two of a kind?
He damned thesefoolish infatuations, but he knew he would never be rid of them.
