Hermione Granger stood up the table she was working on. It was one in the morning and she hadn't finished yet the essay for Professor Binns. She doesn't know why she has been acting strange these past few days. Rubbing her tired eyes, she looked around the common room. It was nevertheless the same surrounding she had seen since the last five years. The fireplace was glowing with ashes and cinders that the roaring fire had left. Bits of parchment littered the floor and were constantly being blown by the wind. She looked at the table where she was working on a little while ago. Her companions, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley noticed her sudden distraction and were looking at her curiously.

" What's the matter Hermione?" said Ron, his head buried from the pile of books that were stocked in front of him.

"Yeah Hermione. What's the matter ?" said Harry, looking up at her.

"I was just thinking"

"About what?" said Harry and Ron in unison

"Well… I'm getting worried about the muggles out there. In the past few weeks, more and more deaths have been reported and even the muggles are dying. They don't even know anything about this. Why should they die too?" muttered Hermione, her eyes brimming with tears.

"Hermione, I know that those poor muggles know nothing but were doing the best we can to stop Voldemort from killing innocent people." said Harry, standing up.

"Say You-Know-Who!!!" exclaimed Ron, standing up abruptly.

Hermione glanced at her two best friends who had helped her in many tough times. The look on Harry's face shows comfort and at the same time, determination. She looked at Ron and saw hope reflected in his eyes. Hermione cheered up a little bit and hugged Harry and Ron tightly. She sat down feeling at ease.

Suddenly, a loud scream punctured the silent night. Harry, Ron and Hermione recognized the voice. It was the fat lady. They rushed outside the common room and saw a death eater. Its eyes were the only things visible from the hood that's was covering its head. They took their wands out, their gazes pierced at the death eater. With a silent laugh, the death eater removed its hood. It was Bellatrix Lestrange. Her face was ghostly pale and sunken and she looked like she hadn't eaten for days. She laughed and said in a cold voice that made their hairs stand on the end.

"Ah… we meet again Potter. I'm not happy to see you so carefree and healthy as if you don't have a care in the world. Looks like your having the time of your life here at Hogwarts. But move aside Potter, I'm not here to kill you. I'm here to kill a little mudblood who will stand in the way of my master's victory. Hermione Granger isn't it? Lovely name for a foolish little mudblood girl." Bellatrix fingered her wand lovingly.

"Enjoyed you life? Its time to end it!"

In the silent peaceful night, an eerie voice muttered two deadly words. "Avada Kedavra!"

COMPLAINTS:

Hello,

The story you submitted to the MuggleNet Fan Fiction database has not

been approved at this time.

I would highly recommend a beta reader to go over this story - there

are a couple of issues, the main one being using the wrong word for the

context of the sentence. There are sentences that don't make sense, or

are confusing to read. For example: "his head buried from the pile of

tottering books". Also, there is a lot of missing punctuation -

missing periods, apostrophes, etc.

Please have someone go through the story for you to help you pick out

these problem areas. Once this has been done and fixed, please resubmit

your story and we'll be happy to review it again.

Thanks,
