~Titan Tower~
Blackfire just left Robin's room, and is now heading to downtown to do some clubbing. Robin walks out of his room and heads to the computer. He arrives at the computer and checks the security system. 'Blackfire did it. It still shows no signs that there has been a break-in.' Robin rubs his chin. 'While I don't want Blackfire to have any problems...wonder if I should tell Cyborg to upgrade the system just in case...'
As Robin is thinking this, Cyborg walks in. Cyborg yawns. "Hey Robin! What are you doing this late?"
'Great, it's Cyborg. Think Robin.' "Just checking the security systems over again. I wanted to make sure that there are no potential problems from...any future break-ins."
"Well, after Jinx, Mammoth, and Gizmo..." Cyborg frowns at the mention of that name. "I overhauled the system to better detect intruders."
"Didn't stop Atlas..." Robin frowns. Damn. Just had to bring that up.
Cyborg frowns too. 'He's right. Though Atlas didn't exactly break in per say, by smashing through the window and TV, that's definitely a vulnerability we can't afford.' "Looks like I have to upgrade the system again."
'Great. Now what? Hm.' "Say Cyborg, great idea. Say, tell me all the upgrades you give to the system." Robin smirks. "Just in case...something goes wrong. I don't want ANY surprises walking in."
"I hear ya. Something is bound to go wrong once in a while. I'll tell you everything I do with the system." Cyborg smiles as he prepares to leave.
'Yes. All I have to do is tell Blackfire so that there won't be any problems in the future.' "By the way Cyborg, what are you doing up this late?"
"Oh me?" Cyborg looks left and right. He grabs Robin and shows him... "New fuel injections, a new stereo system that picks up satellite channels, and new shock absorbers!" Cyborg smiles. "The T-Car will be the envy of everyone that comes into contact with it! Not that it isn't already..." Cyborg smiles with confidence.
Robin smiles. "That's great Cyborg. Well, I'm going to sleep now..."
"Night Robin." Cyborg waves goodbye at Robin as he continues to upgrade his car.
~Club X~
The music is blearing. Many people are dancing and drinking. Blackfire is dancing.
'This music is better then the crap they play in Recthert Prime.' Blackfire continues dancing when a few people notice her.
"Whoa, check out that babe." The man, wearing a black leather jacket signals to his two friends. "Lets see if we can get lucky tonight." The man smiles along with two of his friends.
They approach Blackfire who is still in trance with the music. The man wearing the black leather jacket first spoke up. "Hey babe, want to go to a place that is REALLY great?"
Blackfire looks up and notices the little group. "Really?" Blackfire's eyes narrow while keeping a smile. "You know of a place better then here?" Blackfire approaches the man wearing the leather jacket.
"Yup. Compared to this place, where we have in mind will blow your mind." The man smirked.
"Yeah!" The man wearing the leather jacket's friend, who has blond hair and wearing a black shirt with 'Rage' on it, replies.
"Uh huh." Replies the man, shorter then the other two, wearing a black shirt and a brown beanie.
"Just step outside, and we'll show you where's it at." The man wearing the leather jacket responds, pointing towards an alley door.
Blackfire looks at the boys with suspicion, but decided to go along anyways. 'If they try anything funny, they will no idea what they are getting themselves into.' "Fine boys. Show me the way."
"Alright." The man with the leather jacket smiles and shows Blackfire to the alleyway.
-In the alleyway.
The man wearing the leather jacket closes the door behind him. The sound of the music inside the club can still be heard, although muted.
"So, where is this great place you are talking about?" Blackfire says, looking at the group.
"Why, right here babe." The man wearing the leather jacket smirks. He approaches Blackfire. "Especially with you here."
'Thought so.' Blackfire slaps the man wearing the leather jacket. "Sorry boys, but I'm already called for."
"Playing hard to get huh?" The blond hair man pulls out a knife, "well, I guess this is going to get a little rough now."
"Yeah." The short man replies.
The leather jacket man rubs his face. "We're going to have a little fun tonight...whether you like it or not!"
The blond hair man rushes Blackfire. Blackfire avoids his attack and slams him to the wall.
"You'll pay for that!" The blond hair man gets up and grabs blackfire from behind. He tries to slam her to the ground, but fail. The others approach her from the side. She blast one of boys with her energy ball (AN: I know Starfire's 'energy balls are called Starbolts. What are Blackfire's energy balls? Blackbolts? I'll stick with energy balls for now). She breaks free of the blond man's hold and karate kicks him to a nearby trash can. She uses her another energy ball on the leather jacket man.
The leather jacket man tries to get up. "You bitch...you'll..."
"You boys never learn do you?" Blackfire's eyes glow. She takes a nearby pipe and bends it. "Guess I'll have to teach you boys a lesson."
The boys look shiver as Blackfire nears them.
~Titan Tower~
-The next day...
Starfire opens her door smiling. 'Ever since that Kitty mission, I think Robin is finally noticing me.' Starfire flies around looking for Robin.
Raven walks out of her room. Raven has a look of concern on her face.
"Hey Raven, whats up?" Cyborg waves at Raven.
"I don't know Cyborg. I had this feeling last night that something wasn't right." Raven looks at Cyborg.
'Robin was up checking security. Maybe...nay, probably just coincidence.' "Maybe you just need some air."
"Maybe." However, Raven just couldn't get this nagging feeling that something wasn't right about last night.
Robin is eating his breakfast as Starfire and Beast Boy walk in.
"Robin?" Starfire is the first to respond.
Robin looks at Starfire. "Oh. Hi Starfire. How's it going?"
"I am moving just fine." Starfire responds.
"Okay...um. What I meant is, are you okay?" Robin smiles at Starfire.
"Yeah. I guess." Starfire sits next to Robin.
Beast Boy is searching the kitchen looking for something to eat. "DUDE, what happen to my tofu waffles?"
"Threw them away. They were turning green and disgusting," responded Cyborg in another room. "Besides, they had no meat in it so, no big loss."
Beast Boy is pissed. "THEY WERE STILL GOOD!"
"Yeah sure BB. Cyborg thought of something. "I KNOW!" Cyborg walks in. "Guys, lets go for a ride! We can check out all the new upgrades I put in the car. Also, we can buy you some more...tofu waffles...BB."
Beast Boy's eyes light up. "Alright! Cruising in the T-Car! Getting me some waffles!" Beast Boy does a little dance.
Cyborg covers his eyes. "Beast Boy, can you...not do that."
~Streets of Jump City~
The Teen Titans are in the car. Cyborg is driving, Raven is next to him, BB, Star, and Robin are in the back seat.
"...now you can listen to every music station around the world. Everywhere from Gotham City to Metropolis." Cyborg smiles. "I also upgraded its weapon's system. That way, if Slade ever tried to fight this baby...BAM!"
"That's great Cyborg." Robin smiles. "Slade will never know what hit him with you on board."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can't this thing go any faster?" Beast Boy's stomach rumbles. "It's a matter of life and death here!"
"Whatever BB." Cyborg's smile fades into an indifference.
They pass Club X as a trash can lid rolls out on the street. Cyborg swerves to avoid it.
"Whew, that was..." Cyborg is interrupted by Robin.
"Stop the car!" Robin shouts.
Cyborg stops the car. Robin and the group follow.
"Oh my!" Starfire responds as she sees what is in front of her.
They see a group of three men stuffed in a trashcan. They are constrained with a pipe. "Oh yes we're finally saved." The leather jacket man speaks.
Robin's raised an eyebrow. "Who did this to you?"
"I don't know. Just some babe with some funky powers." The blond hair man responds nervously.
'Funky powers? They don't mean...' "Describe her." Robin's eyes narrow.
"Um. She medium height, long black hair, is wearing this full body armor type suit..." The blond hair man gives out.
Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy's eyes light up as they start to recognize the description.
"And she has these jewel things on her chest and wrist." The leather jacket man concludes.
'Yup. Blackfire.' Robin thought.
Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire look at each other. "Blackfire!"
"Sister?" Starfire says slightly worried.
Cyborg is about to free the group. "Come on! We need to find her before..."
"WAIT!" Robin yells startling the group. Robin looks around and notices the club, and the alleyway. Robin stares at the men. "What exactly happen that got you into this?"
"Um. Well..." the leather jacket man speaks.
"ANSWER ME!" Robin impatiently spat out. Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire's eyes widen as they hear his outburst.
"We...we just wanted to have a little fun and..." the leather jacket man nervously responded.
"Figures." Robin punches the leather jacket man. Robin got up and headed back to the car. "Leave them there."
"But..." the group of men were interrupted by Cyborg.
"But what about Blackfire Robin?" Cyborg asks as Robin gets to the car.
Robin stops. "We'll do nothing for now."
"But..." is all Raven could get out before being interrupted by Robin.
"But nothing. I'm not going to go out and chase her because of these jerks. If we'll lucky, she can tie up more jerks for us." Robin turns to the group. "Also, if Blackfire broke out of prison, she would probably have some friends. I'd like to know if there are any friends of her that I should be worried about. Not to mention the Centarians would be after her anyways so we don't need to do this alone." 'Of course if Blackfire is correct, then their dead.' Robin turns to Starfire. "Besides, if she really wanted to 'get even' with Starfire...she'll have to come to us." Robin smiles at Starfire.
"But what if she decides to work for Slade?" Beast Boy speaks up.
'If that was the case, then I guess I would have to 'punish' Blackfire my way.' Robin smirks. "If that's the case, we'll just have to kick both their butts."
Starfire looks at Robin's smile. 'He...he really cares about me!' Starfire turns to the group of men. 'He is more then I can ever imagine!' Hearts are coming out of Starfire.
Raven is content with what Robin is saying, but something doesn't seem right. 'Robin seems to be hiding something. I can sense it.'
"He's right. If Blackfire really wanted to mess with us again, well she would just have to come to us. Work with Slade, there will be no mercy." Cyborg turns to the group. "As for you jerks..."
"Ahhhhhhhh." The group of men screams.
Cyborg slams the lid down and kicks the can further into the alley. "Now, shall we go to the grocery store?"
Blackfire is behind the corner watching the whole affair. 'Robin really knows how to keep the others out of the loop.' Blackfire looks at Starfire. 'And just as I suspected, my little sister has a little crush on MY Robin.' Blackfire giggles a little. 'By taking Robin from my little sister, I can have love and my revenge!' Blackfire watches the Teen Titans drive off. She flies off to parts unknown.
~Anterian Ship~
An Anterian with a Greek like helmet stares at the destruction of Centari. 'Perfect. This area will make a perfect colony for Anteria!'
A blue man, wearing a decrative robe, runs in. "Prince Shalton, I've spotted something that might interest you!"
Prince Shalton commands the man to step forward. "Tell me Jureo. What is it that you have?"
Jureo brings up a screen. On the screen shows a woman with black hair leaving the damage prison. "We spotted her when we were replaying our victory sire. She is a Tamaranian!"
Prince Shalton is intrigued. "Really?"
"And not just any Tamaranian." Jureo continues. "She is from the royal family! She is known as Blackfire. She is the first born of the two sisters." Jereo pauses before continuing. "But since she wasn't born with the power of flight, she was passed over as heir. That title was given to her sister, Starfire."
"Interesting." Prince Shalton looks at the video, close up on Blackfire's face. "I always wanted a Tamaranian by my side. Especially since, very soon, Tamaran will be ours anyways." Prince Shalton turns to Jereo. "Do you know where she went?"
Jureo looks at his computer. "Yes, she went to a primitive planet known as Earth."
"Good." Prince Shalton turns to his crew. "Set a course for Earth." Prince Shalton instructs his crew.

Ahhhhhhh. Nice to get this chapter out of the way. And yes, that scene with Blackfire is probably THE MOST CLICHÉD OVERUSED SCENE EVER MADE. So many stories had, a person or a group of people (almost always men), attack an innocent bystander (usually always women. Sometimes alone. Though a few times her date [or a friend. *wink* *wink*] is with her.), the group of people attack thinking they have an easy target. But they are stopped either by a helper, or by the innocent bystander who isn't as weak as she is. So what did I do? I included it in my story! :-P
And like I said, Robin is a little out of character in this fic. Kinda had to be given the relationship he is in.
