-AN: Well, since I'm currently have writers blocks that is effecting my
"Two Birds" Part 2 fic (I have the general idea, but have no idea how to
get there. Especially with the next chapter), might as well continue with
this fic. Which, while I have a feeling this chapter won't be that great
(writers block is effecting this story a little too. AGGH!), at least I can
put something down resembling a chapter.
-Now, as I have stated before, I don't plan to bring in the Justice League into this fic, at least, as a major part of the story. Too many characters to worry about, as well as, to be honest, I know even less about the Justice League characters then I do the Teen Titans characters (given that I've seen almost every episode of Teen Titans [and the few that I missed, I intend to watch them when Cartoon Network shows them again], and very few Justice League episodes). Then why did I even mention them? Well, in theory, Teen Titans and Justice League share the same universe (though its appears that Teen Titans animated series doesn't share it with the Justice League animated series [art direction wise they are definitely different. Story conflicts, etc.], but generally speaking, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lanterns, so on and so on, are in the same world. Having a huge warship that could very well destroy the world would probably grab their attention at least.
-As for Supergirl, yes, didn't know about her. But even if I did, that doesn't mean Prince Shalton would know her. After all, he gets his information from Intel and reports. If the reports fail to talk about a certain someone, well, then he won't know about it.
-Another thing, about Blackfire's flying power. Yes, she can fly now. BUT, at least from what I can gather from searching the Internet, she wasn't BORN with the power to fly. This is why, although Blackfire was born first, Starfire is the princess in line to take over the thrown of Tameran. Now, why she can fly now...well, maybe her power simply manifested later? Or genetic engineering fixed that problem? Not that it matters though (comic book version is a little different then the animated series anyway), but I wanted to give Blackfire a background story.
-Phew. Longer then normal author notes. Sorry about that. Well, the moment you've been waiting for...the story itself.
~Titan Tower~
Robin sits back at the couch. His hands are holding the back of his head. Robin is contemplating about the recent events in the last few days. 'With what has happened in the last few days, something is going to blow up. I just hope no one is seriously hurt because of it.' Robin frowns.
An explosion happens behind him. Cyborg speaks up. "Sorry about that!"
'Not exactly what I had in mind, but something did blow up.' Robin smirks.
Starfire walks in. Starfire smiles. "Robin. I have acquired this movie from the store! According to the store clerk, it is supposed to reduce excessive tension." Starfire shows Robin the tape.
Robin looks at the tape. "Um. Thanks Star." Robin raises an eyebrow. "But, I'm not into...yoga."
Starfire looks at the ground. "I just want to help." Starfire looks at Robin. "By the way, what is this yoga?"
"Um. It's..." Robin blinks. 'What is yoga anyways? Some kind of meditation I guess. Raven would...eh.' "I'll tell you later." Robin gives a reassuring smile to Starfire. Starfire smiles, then leaves to her room. Robin looks to his left, then to his right. Robin notices that no one is in the general vicinity. He throws the tape away. 'At least it isn't one of her Tameranian stuff.' Robin rubs his chin. 'Speaking of which, wonder what Blackfire would have for me?'
Beast Boy walks in. "Ahhhhhhhhhh. What better way to start off the day then with tofu eggs and tofu bacon!" Beast Boy turns to Raven and speaks. "Want some Raven?"
Raven is reading a book. "Like I said before Beast Boy, I appreciate the fact that you don't eat meat. Now appreciate the fact that I don't eat simulated meat."
Beast Boy turns about to his cooking. "Fine then, more for me!" Beast Boy smiles as he continues to cook his simulated meat.
Raven sighs. She narrows her eyes and stares in Robin's direction.
Robin frowns as he catches Raven looking at him. 'Something is going to blow up alright.'
Starfire reenters the room. "Robin?"
Robin turns to Starfire. "Um. Yes Starfire?" Robin asks as he looks at her.
"Um, eh." Starfire thinks for a little bit. "Want to, um...if you are not busy...um...never mind." Starfire flies off blushing.
Robin blinks. 'I know Starfire likes me. I'm scared about what happens when she finds out.
Beast Boy yells. "BREAKFAST IS READY!"
Robin sits next to Starfire. Raven is already sitting at one of the seats reading her book. Cyborg comes in, a little dirty from working on the security system.
"Good morning...Robin." Raven looks at Robin.
'Stay cool.' "Good morning to you, Raven." Robin smiles at Raven.
Raven narrows her eyes slightly.
'I'll be so glad when this is over.' Robin frowns.
"And a good morning to you all!" Starfire closes her eyes and smiles. Starfire turns to Robin, and frowns. 'Why couldn't I say it? Why couldn't I ask Robin out for a date?'
Beast Boy comes in and serves everyone (except Raven) tofu eggs and bacon. Raven waves Beast Boy away.
"I'll just have herbal tea." Raven only looking up slightly at Beast Boy.
Robin looks at the food in front of him. "Well, it...looks like eggs and bacon. Maybe it will be as good as them." Robin takes a bite. Robin contorts his face while he is chewing. Robin makes a hard swallow. 'Well, its edible at least.'
Cyborg sits down. He looks at the food in front of him. He shakes his head and pushes the plate away. "I don't think so. I am not eating a non-food product!"
"It too is food!" Beast Boy puts his hands on his hips.
"Here we go again." Robin sits back.
Raven continues to read her book.
"Nature did not intend people to eat plastic!" Cyborg pushes his head against Beast Boy.
"This is not plastic Cy!" Beast Boy now pushes his head against Cyborg.
"It certainly taste like plastic!" Cyborg now pushes his head against Beast Boy.
"Do they ever argue about anything else?" Robin puts his hands on his head.
"Robin, they argue about which one is better skilled at a videogame, they argue about whether Beast Boy's jokes induce laughter..." Starfire looking up in the air thinking what Cyborg and Beast Boy usually argue about.
"Rhetorical question Starfire." Robin turns to Starfire.
Starfire blinks. "What is a rhetorical question?"
"It's a question that people ask, but not expecting an answer." Robin explains to Starfire.
Starfire blinks. "But if you do not wanting an answer, why ask the question the first place?"
"Well, you see..." Robin slaps his forehead. "Nevermind."
Beast Boy and Cyborg continue their argument.
Robin's T-Communicator rings. "Titans! Trouble!"
Everyone stops what he or she were doing, and leave the tower.
~Streets of Jump City~
A massive robotic monster is destroying nearby buildings. "Roooooooaaaaaaaar." People are running around. He aims his arm gun at other building when a sonic beam hits him.
"Guess technology isn't always a good thing." Robin crosses his arms.
The robot monster aims his gun and fires at the Teen Titans.
"Titans, GO!" Robin and the others get out the way.
Cyborg rolls to the side and blast the robot monster with his Sonic Blaster.
The robot avoids the beam. He throws a dumpster at Cyborg. Cyborg punches the dumpster,
Beast Boy charges at the robot in his ram mode. The robot stops Beast Boy by grabbing his horns, picks him up, and throws him at Robin. Robin takes out a Birdarang (AN: This is how it is spelled on those Subway Kid Paks. So, I'll use this spelling). Robin pauses for a second and tries to avoid Beast Boy coming at him. He fails as Beast Boy's flying body hits him.
"Azerath, Metrion, Zinthos!" Raven picks up a light pole and raps the robot with it.
"Rooooaaaaaaarr." The robot breaks free of the light poll. The robot picks up a car and throws it at Raven. Raven uses her power as a shield as the car comes towards her. The robot fires his cannon at the car; the explosion causes car parts to scatter everywhere.
Starfire fires a volley of Starbolts at the robot. The robot picks up another light pole, and bats Starfire towards the other building. Starfire falls to the ground.
Robin tires to get up from his position. A dazed Beast Boy is on him, now in his human form.
The robot walks towards Beast Boy and Robin. Cyborg runs up next to him. The robot backhands Cyborg. Cyborg flies towards the other side of the street. Robin takes out his Bo Staff and hits the robot with it. The Bo Staff breaks. The robot picks up Robin and Beast Boy.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr." Robin is struggling in vain to free himself, while the Robot is squeezing him.
Beast Boy struggles for a little while then changes to a snake to free himself.
A number of bolts hit the robot. The robot leans forward as the bolts continue to hit him. "Rooooaaaaarrrr." The robot moves his arms. A laser beam slices the arm that is holding Robin off.
Robin sees a crack in the back of the robot. Robin sees his opportunity. Robin throws a freeze disc into the crack.
"Rooooaaa...." The Robot's electronics freeze, and he falls down making a thump.
Robin crosses his arms and smiles.
Beast Boy walks up behind him. "Thanks Starfire! Without you, poor Robin here might be dead!"
Starfire gets up from her position. "I welcome you. However, I do not deserve this gratitude since it was not me who fired those bolts."
"If its not Starfire, that means..." Robin looks up in the sky.
Blackfire waves at the group.
"Blackfire! Hurry befor..." Cyborg is about to chase Blackfire before Robin interrupts him.
"NO! We shouldn't go after her." Robin stopping Cyborg, he has a serious expression.
"Why not Robin." Raven approaches Robin. She has a slight frown on her face. "Is Blackfire off limits now?"
Robin narrows his eyes. "No Raven. Its just that, she just save my...our lives."
Cyborg looks at the now immobilized robot. 'He is right...she did save us all.'
Starfire gets up. Starfire's eyes twinkle. "Does this mean that my sister has reformed?"
'You don't know how much I would just like to say yes to that and put everyone at ease. Well, at least Starfire at ease.' Robin thought. 'But...' "No. She is supposed to be in prison for what, 15 years or so?"
"Well, maybe she got off on good behavior? Hehehe." Beast Boy interjects into the conversation.
"Blackfire out on good behavior?" Raven looks at Beast Boy.
Cyborg looks around. "You know, I haven't seen any of those octopus thingys."
"Maybe she did reform. And did get release by being good." Starfire still hopeful as she replies.
Robin raises an eyebrow. "I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet Starfire. The fact that there are no octopus thingys yet could be for a number of reasons. Some..." Robin frowns. "Might not be what we want to hear. Maybe we should talk to Blackfire." Robin walks a little way. "But not today."
"I guess you are right." Cyborg walks next to Robin. "Besides, we have plently of time to catch her." 'Though if there is any shady about her freedom, shouldn't we find her first? I'll leave it at that.'
Raven frowns. 'It is true that she did save our lives today. But why is Robin being so...protective?'
The authorities arrive to take away the robot. The Titans take the head as evidence. Cyborg wanted to see where this robot came from. None of the parts seem to indicate, from what Cyborg could gather from the robot's remains, point to any single organization or group. 'Could be a rouge robot that went bezerk.' Cyborg conceded. But he wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything fishy about the robot. Checking its memory might give him some clues about its origin.
The Titans return to the tower. An undamaged camera follows the Titans as they leave.
~On top of the building~
'Hehehe. The rest of the Titans are still clueless about us.' Blackfire smiles as she looks towards the sky. 'I can't wait to see what my sister's reaction is when I tell her Robbie and I are lovers!' Blackfire smiles at the thought of the many expressions that clueless bitch would show.
Blackfire frowns when she sees something move in the sky.
"What's this?" Blackfire flies up above the atmosphere. Blackfire sees three ships heading towards Earth. "Are those...no, it can't be." Blackfire frowns. "It is. Fuck. Anterians. This is what I don't need." Blackfire frowns. She looks at the Earth behind her.
Blackfire returns to Earth. "The Green Lantern Corp must be busy to allow the flag ship to come to Earth." Blackfire looks around. "Guess I have to confront the Titans a little sooner then expected. Sorry Robin." Blackfire gives a devious smile on what she will do when she encounters them.

Whoohoo. Got something done at least. I didn't really like the first part of this chapter (too slow IMO). But I had to get something in before the fight scene. I also wanted Starfire to give Robin something inappropriate for his 'stress' (like some horror movie that Starfire thought would help Robin reduce stress. Or even a depressing movie with an ironic title even). Unfortunately, couldn't think of one. I also originally intended Starfire to ask Robin out for a date, putting Robin on the spot. That never panned out for some reason. I also wanted to develop Raven and Robin's tension. But that never seems to pan out (their little banter is beginning to sound a little repetitive at the moment. Not good). Hopefully, when Blackfire confronts the Titans, Raven and Robin tension will develop further. As for the 15 years...I think I heard that in the episode "Sisters" as the sentence (or expected sentence) for Blackfire when she is captured. If not, well, correct me. As for the swearing, well, Blackfire to me seems to be a person who would like to use such languages. That and, if you see an alien space ship that you know conquers and destroys worlds, wouldn't you swear too? :- P
I also hope to bring in at least Speedy into the story. He could become VERY important as Blackfire/Robin's secret is exposed. How it is exposed I'm still trying to figure it out. Until next time...

As for the swearing, well, Blackfire to me seems to be a person who would like to use such languages. That and, if you see an alien space ship that you know conquers and destroys worlds, wouldn't you swear too? :- P
I also hope to bring in at least Speedy into the story. He could become VERY important as Blackfire/Robin's secret is exposed. How it is exposed I'm still trying to figure it out. Until next time...
