-Here is the next chapter of "Dangerous Love Affair". As for what other
characters I will bring into this, well, just Speedy. He is pretty much the
only one I know of where I won't butcher the characterization (well, sort
of, one episode isn't a lot to go by). The other character I can do a
pretty decent characterization, is Aqualad. Since there is nothing in this
story that would warrant the Titans to going into the sea, he isn't
included. Wilderbeast and Hot Spot (Joto), like I said before, I don't know
enough about them to make a decent characterization.
-Oh, and thanks for that info TormentedAngel. Might change that chapter a little to reflect that (give it something general like a few years or something). As for the Robin this or Robin that, well, I agree. So why did I do that? Well, sometimes I had other characters in that sentence (like Robin did this when Speedy did that) so to make sure you know whom I'm talking about, I simply went with the Robin this and Robin that thing. Guess I went a little overboard (which I hope to remedy now).
-And my 'Two Birds fic"...still on hold. On hold until Wednesday, May 5th that is (they freaking changed to a weekday timeslot!) since this is the time when they are going to show "Betrayal". But, being the impatient guy that I am, I did look up spoilers for it (egag! How could yo...I?). Seems that the episode was shown in the UK before us (lucky bastards). Without giving away any spoilers, seems I guessed pretty well. Though I will have to change a few things, add a few things, in order to make it conform to the episode better.

~Titan Tower~
Speedy gets up from his position. He walks towards Robin. "Robin!"
"Speedy!" Robin walks up to Speedy. He shakes his hand. "Its good to see you!"
Speedy smiles. "Its good to see you too! Good thing I arrived just in time it seems. I assume they weren't invited." He looks at the group of fallen soldiers.
"Nope." Robin looks at the group of fallen soldiers before returning his gaze towards Speedy. "By the way, what brings you here?"
"Oh me? I was just in the area. I just decided to stop by!" Speedy smiles.
Cyborg approaches Starfire. He rips the net that is confining Starfire. "Starfire, are you okay?"
Starfire looks at herself. "I appear to be undamaged." Starfire looks up and see Robin and Speedy talking to each other. She blinks and rubs her eyes. 'Am I seeing double?' Starfire flies towards Robin and Speedy.
Beast Boy approaches the two. "Hey. Great to see you Speedy!"
Raven approaches Speedy. Raven blinks in slight bewilderment. 'He looks like Robin.' "Who are you?"
Starfire gets in front of Speedy. She looks at his mask, his suit, his hair, his bow, and quiver. Starfire blinks in bewilderment. "Are you Robin's brother?"
"Uhhhhhh..." Robin scratches the back of head. "Not exactly..."
"Then, did you go to the same school as Robin?" Starfire looks at Speedy with a curious expression.
Speedy blinks. "No...there, isn't a sidekick school..." Speedy turns to Robin. "Robin, who are these babes here?"
"Oh yeah. You haven't met them." Robin gets in front of Speedy. "This one is Raven." Robin points to Raven. Next, Robin points to Starfire. "And this one is Starfire of Tamaran."
"She's an alien I assume?" Speedy ask Robin.
Before Robin could respond, Starfire speaks up. "Yes, I am not from this planet."
"Interesting." Speedy hold his hand out towards Starfire. "Let me introduce myself, I'm Speedy!"
"Speedy...I welcome you!" Starfire grabs Speedy's hand. She crushes Speedy's hand. Speedy has a look of pain on his face. "Does your appearance mean we will get help from an army of Robins? How did you meet Robin? And can you be my friend?"
"Um no. I meet him fighting the Master of Games during that so-called Tournament of Heroes! And sure." Speedy looks at his crushed hand.
"Oh yeah. Him." Raven frowns remember the 'Master of Games' and that 'Tournament of Heroines'.
Blackfire comes out behind Speedy. Blackfire begins pinching Speedy's clothing, checking his hair, and finally checking out one of Speedy's arrows. "I got to say, interesting fashion statement. Seems the Robin look is quite popular."
Speedy looks at Blackfire. "Say, who is this babe here?" Speedy gives a devious smile at Blackfire.
Robin's smile disappears. His eyes narrow at Speedy. Robin's tone drops a notch. "This one is Blackfire. Starfire's sister."
"Hm. Both sisters, quite gorgeous I might add, are Titans? Must be great to have them on your team!" Speedy rubs his chin.
Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven, and Starfire are dumbfounded for a moment. "Well...uh...um...well, you see..." is all that can be heard from them.
Speedy blinks. "Is it something I said?"
Robin takes Speedy to the side. "Um. Speedy," Robin lowers his voice. "Blackfire...isn't exactly a friend."
"She's not?" Speedy looks at Robin.
"Yeah, you see...the last time Blackfire was here...she...tried to get Starfire to take her place...in prison." Robin gives a worried look towards Speedy. "And chances are, if given the chance...might do something to Starfire."
"That can't be good." Speedy thinks. "So, why is she here then?"
"Well as you can see..." Robin points to the fallen soldiers. Cyborg picks up one, and throws him over the side of the tower. "At the moment, we have the same enemy. She came to us looking for help. We agreed as long as she doesn't do anything bad to Starfire."
"Interesting." Speedy smirks. "Like a dangerous love affair. Fraternizing with the enemy." Speedy blinks. "Well, not really of course since those kinds of relationships don't usually have a happy ending."
"Yeah. I guess not." Robin rubs his chin. 'If he only knew...'
Cyborg picks up another soldier.
The soldier slowly wakes up. "Uhhhhh..."
"That's what you get by trying to take Starfire." Cyborg looks at the soldier seriously.
The soldier looks at Cyborg. "I was only following orders. She wasn't even my main target."
"Not your main target?" Cyborg looks at the soldier confused. "What do you mean?"
Robin looks at the soldier, then at Starfire. "That reminds me..." 'Have to get this out in the open. If they found out any other way, could get messy.' Robin returns to the group.
Speedy follows Robin.
Robin turns to Blackfire. "I had a little talk with Batman..."
Blackfire, knowing what the conversation is going to turn to, has a slightly worried look. "Um yes?"
"Sorry that I didn't share this information earlier. This sort of happened before hand." Robin looks at the soldiers around him.
Cyborg throws the soldier out of the window. He turns to Robin. "What did he say?"
"Due to his connections to the Justice League, he got first hand information from them. He warned me about the Anterians." Robin crosses his arms.
"Yeah...guess I beat him to it." Blackfire smirks, trying to give him an air of false arrogance.
"However, funny thing is, while Prince Shalton wanted a Tamaranian, he didn't know about Starfire. Which means..." Robin is pauses waiting for one of the other team members to catch on.
Cyborg is the first to catch on. "Which means, he wanted YOU!" Cyborg narrows his eyes.
Beast Boy, Starfire, Raven, and Speedy surround Blackfire.
"Hehehe...I guess he wanted me after all instead of my sister!" Blackfire gives a nervous smile.
The group stares at her for a while.
"Maybe we should just give her to him and he would go away?" Beast Boy turns to the group.
Robin frowns.
Starfire frowns. "She is still my sister. She may be mean, but she is still my sister. I wouldn't want her to be a slave."
Blackfire's face turns serious. Blackfire crosses her arms. "Look, even if he initially wanted me, its obvious that after he found out about Starfire, he wanted her too."
"True. Of course he would've never found out if YOU didn't come here." Raven narrows her eyes.
"Ha. Please." Blackfire rolls her eyes at Raven. "Even if his advisors were slow on the uptake, they would've found out anyways." Blackfire turns to Starfire. "Not to mention the fact, whatever he wanted from me, it wasn't to blackmail the people of Tamaran." Blackfire's expression darkens further. "I have nothing to offer them since the people of my world rejected me a long time ago. They rejected me in favor of Starfire, who is the one in line to rule Tamaran!"
Speedy rubs his chin, and then points to Blackfire. "So, if he didn't want you because of Tamaran, what did he want you for?"
"Heck should I know." Blackfire pretends to think for a bit. "I'll talk a gander and say that he wanted me to be his Princess. Given that Shalton hormones were probably going wild seeing me, can't blame him for wanting this babe." Blackfire models herself. "And if this is the case, due to the fact that King Taro is near death, I would be future queen of Anteria. I'd be living in lath of luxury, while, if and when he finds out about Starfire, he would've tortured my poor sister until Tamaran falls without much of a fight."
"Odd. Sounds like a good plan for you!" Raven closes her fist in an attempt to keep control of her emotions. "Why are not following it?"
"Me and Princy boy?" Blackfire rolls her eyes at Raven again. "Please. First, I didn't even know that this is Princy boy's plan or even IF this is Princy boy's plan. I could be terribly wrong you know. BUT, even if this is the case and I did know about it, I do have standards. Prince Shalton is a power hungry egomaniac. I do not want someone like that as a husband." A devious smile forms on Blackfire. "Besides I already found a better man." Blackfire winks at Robin.
'Did she close one eye at Robin?' Starfire looks at Blackfire. 'No. It must be my mind seeing things that are not there.' However, Starfire is beginning to worry about Blackfire and Robin.
"Look, at the moment, I'm still your ally, and I will not back away from my word." Blackfire stares at them. "And like it or not, they did get through past this 'Justice League' that you all seem to praise. You're going to need all the help you can get."
Robin nods. "She's right. They did get through to us. And whether or not we like it, Starfire is still in danger."
Starfire nods. "Yes. Anterians are a very bad race."
"Yes. Until I get the security system back online, her help is still greatly appricated." Cyborg walks a bit. "I might even add a few more upgrades to it. Though I don't know if there is anything I could do."
'That reminds me something.' Raven catches Cyborg. "Cyborg, remember what Blackfire said when she entered? How did SHE know that you upgraded the system?"
Cyborg blinks. 'How did she know...?' "Maybe it's the fact that the last time she just, walked through without any problems? It is pretty obvious that it was upgraded." 'However, she would've at least tripped something off.'
"Maybe." However, Raven is having similar thoughts as Cyborg. 'But still, wouldn't she have tripped something off?'
Back to the remaining group in the main room, "Well, I'm in too," Speedy waves at the group, "If you allow me of course."
"I see no problem." Beast Boy looks at Speedy. "Though it is kind of weird having two Robins here."
Robin rolls his eyes. "Uh, yeah Beast Boy." Robin turns to Speedy and smiles. "You are an honorary Titan. And your help would also be greatly appreciated." Robin thinks a bit. "Say, why not stay here? You could stay in Terra's old room."
Blackfire rushes to the two. "Hey, hey, HEY!"
Robin narrows his eyes towards Blackfire.
Blackfire steps back a little bit. "Um. Hehe. I mean, he should look at the room first before accepting!" Blackfire gives a nervous smile.
Robin smiles. "Yes. That's what I'm going to do now."
Robin and Speedy walk off to Terra's old room.
Blackfire crosses her arms. "Guess I should prepare my 'bed'." Blackfire heads towards the couch, only to find it destroyed. "Great."
~Anterian Ship~
Prince Shalton slams his fist on the chair. "Fools! How could they fail such an easy mission?"
Jureo shakes a little. "Sire, the people surrounding Blackfire and Princess Starfire are a lot stronger then we suspected."
Shalton scowls at Jureo. "For a primitive planet, this world is proving to be more of a challenge then I originally believed. First this 'Justice League', and then this group...what were they called?"
"Teen Titans sire." Jureo speaks out.
"Teens?" Shalton looks at Jureo.
"Yes. Apparently going by their time system...a teen is about a 3rd or 4th Travert Cycle." Jureo looks down as he prepares for Shalton's outburst.
"ARE YOU TELLING ME A GROUP THAT YOUNG STOPPED MY SOLDIERS?" Shalton slams his fist on the armrest. The armrest breaks.
"Eh..." Jureo shakes more, "yes."
"This is unbelievable." Shalton calls his top officer. The officer appears on his video screen. "Get the best men you can find. We will try again in 28 Killven (AN: About two days).
"That far ahead sire?" The officer gave a questioning glance at Shalton.
"Yes. We need time to regroup. The Justice League is proving to be quite an annoyance." A video shown next to the officer's face shows Hawkgirl bashing an Anterian fighter. Shalton frowns. "We also need to time to prepare our next attempt at getting the Tamaranians. These 'Teen Titans' are also proving to be more of a challenge then I though. Lets double the force. I don't want ANY mistakes this time!"
"Yes sire." The video screen fades.
~Titan Tower~
The next morning, the entire tower is miraculously repaired.
Beast Boy and Speedy are playing Gran Turismo 3 on the Playstation 2.
"You're pretty good." Beast Boy smirks. "But not as good as me!"
"Wanna bet?" Speedy speeds his car up.
After another hour of playing, Beast Boy throws his controller to the ground in frustration.
"Man! This is boring." Beast Boy crosses his arms. "We know they are going to strike again, why can't we do something!"
"Oh sure BB, we could do something." Cyborg, who is sitting next to Speedy, looks at Beast Boy, "We could fly our ship, go to the Anterian flag ship, knock and say 'HEY, mind if we come in and kick your butts?" Cyborg has an annoyed look on his face. "Just enjoy the fact that we currently have a downtime."
Blackfire is sitting next to Beast Boy. She has a neutral expression.
Starfire walks up to Blackfire. "Sister? I know that we haven't been close recently."
"No shit." Blackfire frowns.
Starfire blinks. "That is very rude." Starfire frowns. Her expression softens a little before she continues, "Even so, you are still my sister. I'm hoping that this will help ease some trouble between us. I am going to sing the Tamaranian song of reconciliation!"
"Oh no." Blackfire's eyes widen.
Everyone's eyes go wide as Starfire's sings. Or, at least, what is assumed to be singing.
Blackfire covers Starfire's mouth. "You realize that this is probably the reason why the people who made that song are dead now?"
Raven, still recovering from Starfire's singing, looks at Blackfire. She then turns to Robin who is checking out some computers. 'I know there is something going on between you to. But what?'
Robin is looking at a few screens. Speedy walks next to him. "So, anything on your mind?"
"Not much. Just thinking about what is going to happen next." Robin looks at Blackfire and frowns.
"Yeah." Speedy crosses his arms. "Whatever's going to happen, you know I will be there for your team."
"Thank you Speedy." Robin thanks Speedy. Though what he is thinking might be something even Speedy couldn't help.

Yeah I know, no action. But I had to have some filler chapters to help settle in Speedy into the story. I also wanted to give the characters a break from the action for a while. Especially since the action is about to extremely pick up in the next few chapters leading up to the end (where all heck is about to break loose).
I also delayed any steamy or extremely violent situations until at least next chapter (12 chapters are planned). That way, it would still be PG-13 up till now.
BTW, even the more 'steamy' situation...won't be a lemon. At most, it will be a lime. Like if anything, it would be a kind of, fade to black thing. I have no experience in writing a lemon, and have no plans to start one now.
Next chapter...a second assault on the tower. Will it be more successful then the first (I actually haven't decided if it will be)? Until then...later.
Chapter 6 has been proof read and revised. Other then grammatical and spelling errors, I added a few things to help the dialogue become more, logical. Especially when it concerned Blackfire's rebuttal speech. Yeah I know, I also promised to do it to the other chapters in this and my other story. I will get to the other chapters! Eventually.

Robin rolls his eyes. "Uh, yeah Beast Boy." Robin turns to Speedy and smiles. "You are an honorary Titan. And your help would also be greatly appreciated." Robin thinks a bit. "Say, why not stay here? You could stay in Terra's old room."
Blackfire rushes to the two. "Hey, hey, HEY!"
Robin narrows his eyes towards Blackfire.
Blackfire steps back a little bit. "Um. Hehe. I mean, he should look at the room first before accepting!" Blackfire gives a nervous smile.
Robin smiles. "Yes. That's what I'm going to do now."
Robin and Speedy walk off to Terra's old room.
Blackfire crosses her arms. "Guess I should prepare my 'bed'." Blackfire heads towards the couch, only to find it destroyed. "Great."
~Anterian Ship~
Prince Shalton slams his fist on the chair. "Fools! How could they fail such an easy mission?"
Jureo shakes a little. "Sire, the people surrounding Blackfire and Princess Starfire are a lot stronger then we suspected."
Shalton scowls at Jureo. "For a primitive planet, this world is proving to be more of a challenge then I originally believed. First this 'Justice League', and then this group...what were they called?"
"Teen Titans sire." Jureo speaks out.
"Teens?" Shalton looks at Jureo.
"Yes. Apparently going by their time system...a teen is about a 3rd or 4th Travert Cycle." Jureo looks down as he prepares for Shalton's outburst.
"ARE YOU TELLING ME A GROUP THAT YOUNG STOPPED MY SOLDIERS?" Shalton slams his fist on the armrest. The armrest breaks.
"Eh..." Jureo shakes more, "yes."
"This is unbelievable." Shalton calls his top officer. The officer appears on his video screen. "Get the best men you can find. We will try again in 28 Killven (AN: About two days).
"That far ahead sire?" The officer gave a questioning glance at Shalton.
"Yes. We need time to regroup. The Justice League is proving to be quite an annoyance." A video shown next to the officer's face shows Hawkgirl bashing an Anterian fighter. Shalton frowns. "We also need to time to prepare our next attempt at getting the Tamaranians. These 'Teen Titans' are also proving to be more of a challenge then I though. Lets double the force. I don't want ANY mistakes this time!"
"Yes sire." The video screen fades.
~Titan Tower~
The next morning, the entire tower is miraculously repaired.
Beast Boy and Speedy are playing Gran Turismo 3 on the Playstation 2.
"You're pretty good." Beast Boy smirks. "But not as good as me!"
"Wanna bet?" Speedy speeds his car up.
After another hour of playing, Beast Boy throws his controller to the ground in frustration.
"Man! This is boring." Beast Boy crosses his arms. "We know they are going to strike again, why can't we do something!"
"Oh sure BB, we could do something." Cyborg, who is sitting next to Speedy, looks at Beast Boy, "We could fly our ship, go to the Anterian flag ship, knock and say 'HEY, mind if we come in and kick your butts?" Cyborg has an annoyed look on his face. "Just enjoy the fact that we currently have a downtime."
Blackfire is sitting next to Beast Boy. She has a neutral expression.
Starfire walks up to Blackfire. "Sister? I know that we haven't been close recently."
"No shit." Blackfire frowns.
Starfire blinks. "That is very rude." Starfire frowns. Her expression softens a little before she continues, "Even so, you are still my sister. I'm hoping that this will help ease some trouble between us. I am going to sing the Tamaranian song of reconciliation!"
"Oh no." Blackfire's eyes widen.
Everyone's eyes go wide as Starfire's sings. Or, at least, what is assumed to be singing.
Blackfire covers Starfire's mouth. "You realize that this is probably the reason why the people who made that song are dead now?"
Raven, still recovering from Starfire's singing, looks at Blackfire. She then turns to Robin who is checking out some computers. 'I know there is something going on between you to. But what?'
Robin is looking at a few screens. Speedy walks next to him. "So, anything on your mind?"
"Not much. Just thinking about what is going to happen next." Robin looks at Blackfire and frowns.
"Yeah." Speedy crosses his arms. "Whatever's going to happen, you know I will be there for your team."
"Thank you Speedy." Robin thanks Speedy. Though what he is thinking might be something even Speedy couldn't help.

Yeah I know, no action. But I had to have some filler chapters to help settle in Speedy into the story. I also wanted to give the characters a break from the action for a while. Especially since the action is about to extremely pick up in the next few chapters leading up to the end (where all heck is about to break loose).
I also delayed any steamy or extremely violent situations until at least next chapter (12 chapters are planned). That way, it would still be PG-13 up till now.
BTW, even the more 'steamy' situation...won't be a lemon. At most, it will be a lime. Like if anything, it would be a kind of, fade to black thing. I have no experience in writing a lemon, and have no plans to start one now.
Next chapter...a second assault on the tower. Will it be more successful then the first (I actually haven't decided if it will be)? Until then...later.
Chapter 6 has been proof read and revised. Other then grammatical and spelling errors, I added a few things to help the dialogue become more, logical. Especially when it concerned Blackfire's rebuttal speech. Yeah I know, I also promised to do it to the other chapters in this and my other story. I will get to the other chapters! Eventually.
