-This is the long awaited (really long) awaited 10th chapter of "Dangerous Love Affair"! I finally got around to doing it! Interestingly, my profile said that this chapter would be started 'soon' (about two months ago)...well, it would've been started 'soon' if "Silent Titan" and later, my Eva fic didn't take my time away.

-Also, with the showing of the new episodes (finally), the hiatus for my "Two Birds..." story is also over. All those stories got ahead of this fic.

-Well, the wait is finally over. So, since I have nothing else to say...

Captain's Quarter

Blackfire lied down on the massive bed that she 'shared' with Shalton. 'Tonight, everything is going to go down. I have a feeling that it won't be pretty.'

The doors to the Captain's 'head' (the bathroom), opened. Shalton, wearing his royal robe and...ummm...boxers (alien race wearing boxers?) walked towards the bed. "Well my love. Tonight is the night that we will finally spend the night together."

Blackfire frowned. The thought of her and this...thing...together...simply doesn't fly with her. 'Ewwwwww.' "If you mean by 'spend' the night together as in we sleep together, JUST SLEEP, and nothing more, then I agree."

Pri...King Shalton lied down next to Blackfire. "Why, you're no fun. I mean, there is nothing wrong with 'starting' early. If you know what I mean." Shalton leaned in closer to Blackfire. He brought his arms around in an attempt to bring her closer to him.

Blackfire shot up out of the bed and walked towards the door. "I...I need to clear my head a bit. Do you mind if I...walk around a bit?"

Shalton frowned. He mentally shook his head. 'So close...' "Go ahead. BUT, do not go far or go to any areas that are restricted."

Blackfire smirked. "Restricted areas? I'm the Queen of Anteria. And you are restricting my access?"

"Future queen remember." Shalton got up in a sitting position on the bed. "And until then, this is my ship, my rules!"

Blackfire's smirk disappeared. "Fine. Your ship, your rules. I'll 'behave' and stay on the beaten path."

"Good. Just remember, you sleep here now." Shalton waved back at Blackfire as she started to exit the room.

"Of course." Blackfire left the room.

After Blackfire is gone, Shalton got on his communicator. "I want two guards following Blackfire. Make sure she doesn't veer off into areas she is not supposed to be in. Also, find Jureo. I'd like to find out what happened to him with Blackfire." Shalton turned off the communicator. 'I hope my instincts are wrong about you Blackfire. But if they are not...' A dark smile appears on Shalton's face. 'I will still have my fun. Just that you won't be sharing in it.'

Brig - Cellblock 13

Zzzzzzzpt. The wires connecting Beast Boy's restraining suit, and a battery are destroyed.

"That should do it." Cyborg commented.

Cyborg again made cuts on Beast Boy's suit, enough for Beast Boy to escape, but not enough for the guards to notice if they were passing by.

"Thanks Cy." Beast Boy nodded in his, semi-restrained position. "Once I get the word, I'm out of here."

Cyborg nodded. "Now, to find the others..."

Speedy popped his head from the hole at the back of Beast Boy's cellblock. "Say Cy, you remember when they were passing out that crap they called food to us? From what I could hear, they passed out only five plates. I was the last one they gave the food to."

Cyborg nods. "Well, guess that means we're currently the only prisoners here. That helps narrows it down a bit." Cyborg paused a bit before continuing. "But that still leaves plenty of Cellblocks to check."

"Maybe. Maybe not." Speedy rubs his chin. "I also remember that they didn't wander off on their path. Taking away their pauses for talking, from the sounds of it, they only served this side of the brig. So we are all on the same side."

Cyborg smiles. "And that reduces the number even further. But stil..."

A light knocking is heard in the pathway behind them.

Cyborg looked back at the pathway. Speedy looked towards the source of the sound. Both Cyborg and Speedy stared at each other before they headed off to the source of the ground.

They stared at the source of the sound. According to their location, this would make it cellblock 10. Since they deducted that it can't be Raven, then it must be... "Robin?"

The knocking stopped. "Yes. Have you freed the others?"

"Everyone but you and Raven." Cyborg looks back at cellblock 11. "But let me guess..."

"If I'm the first one, then that means that Cellbock 11 is where she is at." Robin finished. "Hurry and free us both. I know where Starfire is. And when her execution is going to take place..."

Bridge

Jureo is shaking in fear. He knew he has done wrong by letting his eyes off of Blackfire earlier. Knowing Pri...King Shalton, his punishment will be very severe.

Shalton walked in wearing his royal guard. However, he is also wearing some sort of belt with some nasty looking devices on it. He glared at Jureo. "Jureo, I gave you a simple task..."

Jureo fell to his knees and started to beg. "Sire, please. It was a mistake. I promise that it won't happen again."

Shalton brought his hand in front of Jureo, shutting him up. "Don't worry Jureo. You have been very loyal before." Shalton took out a whip. "I'll be VERY merciful in your punishment."

Jureo started to back up a bit. "Sire..." A number of guards surrounded Jureo and hold his arms. "Sire, please, sire...AGGGGGGHHHHHHH."

Shalton whipped Jureo over and over again. Huge scratches appear on Jureo. One even slices Jureo's right eye in half.

Shalton puts his whip away. Holds Jureo's head and showed everyone on the bridge the blooded and wounded Jureo. "Let this be a lesson to everyone. If you do not do your job...THIS could be you!"

The view screen lights up. A face appeared. "Prince Shalton."

Shalton turned to the face. Shalton voice and expression softened to the one on the communicator. "Commander of the 3rd Fleet. Please call me Kin..."

The commander interrupted Shalton. "Our forces have been pulled back from their positions and are all returning home sire."

Shalton's tone of civility, at least the appearance of it, ended immediately. "What? Who ordered this?"

"Your father. King Taro ordered it. He says that, as long as he is still king, he will not let the treaty be destroyed by the likes of you." Commander continued in his expressionless emotion.

Shalton's anger boiled over. "My father?! How dare he get in the way of me! How dare he attempt to usurp my rightful power." Shalton ripped his chair's armrest.

"He is still the king sire." Commander is slightly stunned at the Prince's emotion, but says nothing of it.

"THAT BASTARD WON'T BE SOON!" Shalton sat down and tried to calm down. "Now, order the fleet back into its position."

"But sire..."

"DO IT!" Shalton ripped the other armrest. "Or YOU will be facing the rest of your life in the Westol Prime gulags."

The commander mentally cringed. He knew what the gulags were like. And it was not a place you wanted to ever go. It would've made hell look like a paradise. "Yes sire." Though he also knew, that until King Taro dies and the title official goes to Shalton, he can't do anything about it. His image disappeared from the view screen.

"My father interfering with MY plans again." Shalton rubbed his forehead. "Now, what else can go wrong?"

Jureo is on all fours, and in pain. He started to move. "Uhhhh..."

Shalton got up, and kicked Jureo in the stomach.

Anterian Ship Hallway

Blackfire was walking towards Holding Bay 3.

The guards suddenly stopped Blackfire. "You are not allowed in this area."

Blackfire frowned. "Why's that? It isn't like I haven't already been here before."

"Shalton's orders." The guards responded without any emotions.

'Stupid Shalton getting smart on me.' "Fine." Blackfire turned around. As the guards turned around with her, she took one of the guards by the throat, and quickly snapped his neck, killing him.

The other guard is momentarily stunned. After he comes to his sense, he reached for his gun.

Blackfire turned around and, with her laser eyes, slices the other guard's arm off.

"Agggggghhhhh." The man screamed as blood gushed out of the newly created wound.

Blackfire takes out a knife from the first, now dead, guard, brings it up to the other guard's throat, and sliced it open. "Shut up." Blackfire continued to stab the guard over and over again. Bones and guts fly everywhere. The guard fell limp to the ground.

Blackfire heard more guards coming.

"Great." Blackfire took one of the guards gun, and aimed it at the incoming guards. Once the guards came into view, she blasted the gun at the guards' head. Their heads exploded sending blood and bone fragments everywhere. "Anyone else want some?" After a few seconds...no one else came. She also looked around. "No alarm? Interesting. They're more incompetent then I thought." 'Bet that won't last long though.'

Passageway behind the Cellblocks

Raven took off the last of the restraints. "Thank you Cyborg."

Cyborg nodded. "Your welcome Raven."

Cyborg, Robin, Speedy, Beast Boy, and Raven are standing in front of (or, maybe the back of) Cellbock 11. Cyborg opened up a compartment and gaves Speedy his bow and arrows, and he gave Robin his utility belt.

Speedy accepted his weapons. "Thanks Cyborg. Hope it wasn't too much trouble to you."

Cyborg shook his head. "Nope. Only had to move, and remove a few unessential components. The worse for me is that I won't last as long without the extra battery pack I had in there. But that won't be for a few months. I obviously don't plan to stay on this ship that long." Cyborg looked at his arm. "Unfortunately, I didn't plan on losing my Sonic Cannon. But I can still mange."

Beast Boy checked out his arm. "Well, I'm in tip top shape. We're all ready to rescue Starfire now."

Robin nodded. "No time to chit chat. We need to head to Holding Bay 3. It won't be long till they figure out that we are no longer in our cells."

Cyborg led the way. "According to the blue prints, Holding Bay 3 should be through the passage way." He looked up and saw a number of pipes. Each one is in a different color. "We should follow the red pipe."

Bridge

"King." One of the bridge technicians' chimed in. "The guards in Sector 2 haven't reported in."

Shalton looked at the technician. "Sector 2? That's where Holding Bay 3 is located." 'It is also where Blackfire was heading towards according to the bodyguards.' "Have you tried contacting them?"

The technician nodded. "Still no answer."

Shalton frowned. "Have you tried contacting Blackfire's bodyguards?"

"Let me check." The technician pusheed a few buttons, awaiting a response. "No answer either."

'My instincts are being proven right.' Shalton closed his fist. 'I promise you that I will not hold back, Blackfire.' "Put our guards on high alert. Send a team into that area. Oh, and move up the execution date for Starfire to tonight. That should show her." Shalton started to leave. "I'm going to check on the prisoners." 'If they are gone, they will be searched out, tortured and killed. If they are still there, they will be tortured and killed anyways.'

"Yes sire." The technician gave out his orders.

Passageway in Sector 2

Cyborg, Beast Boy, Robin, Raven, and Speedy all turned a corner. As they pass through the area, they heard the footsteps of many guards running in their direction.

Cyborg stopped the group before the walls on one side turn into grates. They watch as the guard's shadows pass through in front of them.

"Looks like they discovered that we're missing." Cyborg frowned. 'And without my Sonic Cannon, I'm confined to hand to hand combat.'

"Maybe..." Robin stopped himself as he heard the sound of laser fire...then screams, and the sounds of flesh exploding. "Or maybe not."

Speedy raised an eyebrow. "Sounds like Blackfire is causing all the trouble for us."

'So, Blackfire is distracting the guards. Or she's making harder for us. Either way, we could still use this to our advantage.' Cybrog thinks of a plan. "If the guards are busy fighting Blackfire, we can sneak in the back and get Starfire, and get out."

Robin nodded. "Agreed."

The rest of the team started to head towards the back of Holding Bay 3.

"But we can't leave without Blackfire." Robin continued with a stern voice.

Raven frowned. "Why?"

"Like her or not, she did help us." Robin scowled at Raven.

Beast Boy nodded. "She hasn't been so bad so far. No reason to turn our backs on her."

"Fine." Raven frowned slightly. 'Though it would have been preferable to just leave her.'

Speedy simply shook his head.

Brig

Shalton looked at the two guards, Bob and Joe. Both are sleeping at their guard post. 'This is the proud Anterian military?' Shalton kicked both desks that Bob and Joe were sleeping on.

"Huh who the...oh shit." (yes, aliens swear too) Bob looked up at Shalton. "Sss...sire."

Joe looked up from his desk. "Who the..." His eyes instantly widened as he sees Shalton. He shot up from his desk. "Sire!"

"Sleeping on the job?" Shalon scowled at Bob and Joe.

Bob and Joe both shook in fear. "Nn...nooooo." Both spouted out.

"Don't lie to me!" Shalton grabbed Joe's throat and brought him up so that now Joe is looking down at Shalton. Shalton turned to Bob. "Now, go see if the prisoners are still in their cells."

"Um..." Bob started to step back.

Shalton started to strangle Joe. Joe struggled to breath.

"Yes sire." Bob ran into Brig. After a few seconds, he ran straight back to Shalton. His fear is even greater.

"Tell me, are the prisoners still in their cells?" Shalton continued to scowl.

"Umm...umm...um..." Bob continued to shake.

Shalton ripped Joe's throat out. In the process, he also ripped Joe's ribcage out too.

"Aggghhh...eeee...NO!" Bob was now in complete terror. "Except...except that half robot guy."

Shalton frowned. 'Why would they leave him behind...unless...' "Show me."

A terrified Bob led Shalton to Cellblock 12. Inside, they see the image of Cyborg still in his deactivated position.

Shalton looked at the image. "Something's not right. Why would they leave hi..." Shalton saw the image flicker a bit. Shalton ripped the keys off Bob's belt and opened the cellblock door. He approached the image of Cyborg. He looked down and saw a little device. Shalton picked up the device. The image followed the device. 'Damn them.' Shalton crushed the device. He turned around and saw the terrified Bob.

Shalton approached Bob.

Bob stepped back. "I...I won't let it happen again sir."

Shalton nodded. "No, you won't." Shalton grabbed Bob.

"Gaaaaaa...." Shalton ripped Bob's head off. Blood spattered everywhere. The head's expression is stuck in permanent scream.

Shalton threw the head away. Shalton took his communicator out. "Sound the alarm. Send EVERY guard to Sector 2."

Holding Bay 3

Cyborg kicked the panel behind Starfire. Two guards at the door hear the sound and both turned around with their guns raised. Before they could fire, Speedy comes and sent two exploding arrows at the two guards. The arrows explode, knocking both guards down.

Robin ran in. "Starfire!"

Starfire looked up and smiled. "Robin!" She turned to the others who have entered the room. "Friends!"

A loud alarm rang out throughout the ship. The room is bathed in red.

"Looks like they finally noticed we are gone." Robin looked at the lights. "No time to waste." He cuts the restraints holding Starfire.

Loud sounds of laser fire, yelling, and fighting is heard outside the doorway.

Beast Boy looked at the sound. "Whoa. Sounds like one massive party out there."

"And I don't want to get involved in that one." Speedy frowned.

After a few seconds, the fighting...for the moment, seem to have stopped.

Blackfire walks through the doorway. She clasped her hands together. "Well, that was fun."

Robin smirked. "Nice that you had your fun." Then he frowned. "But now it is going to be a lot harder to leave."

Cyborg looked at the map. "There are a number of ships waiting in the docking bay. If we can take the short cut, back in the passageway, we could make it without a lot of confrontation."

The sounds of more guards coming all perked their interest.

"Though the passageway will restrict our ability to fight back if they decide to follow us." Cyborg frowned.

Raven looked at the passageway. "But that would also constrict their fighting ability as well."

Speedy nodded then shook his head. "Except they will have the firepower. Even if I and Robin protected the back, we still might not make it."

Blackfire looked back. 'Maybe I'm going to have a little more fun.' "Go ahead. I'll deal with these losers."

Robin grabbed Blackfire's arm before she left. "No! I won't let you take them on all alone!"

Starfire frowned in jealousy. 'Why is Robin so worried about my sister?' "I'll join sister."

Blackfire shook her head. "No sister. We came all the way here for your butt. I don't want this trip to be all for naught." She turned to Robin. "And don't worry Rob. I'll catch up with the rest of you. I promise."

Robin is about to say something else, before he conceded defeat. "Okay. But you WILL get back to us."

Blackfire smiled and winked at Robin. "Don't worry. I'll get there."

A few of the guards reached the door. Blackfire blasted the guards back with her starbolts.

Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire, Raven, and Speedy all head towards the passageway. Robin continued to stare at Blackfire who is fighting the guards.

Blackfire turned to Robin. "Go! I promise I will make it."

Robin nodded. And soon joined the others.

Blackfire sliced the guards at the door in half with her laser eyes. She jogged past the two, grabbing one of the fallen guard's weapons. As she got out of Holding Bay 3, she encountered a wave of Anterian guards. She got down on one knee and started firing at will towards the guards. The guards return fire (although none of them apparently know how to aim). Lasers passed around Blackfire. Then, Blackfire activated a type of an explosive cartridge on the gun...and fired. The explosion sent tons of guards and body parts flying all over the place.

"Aggghhhhh." Guards, with his lower half missing, started crawling towards Blackfire.

Blackfire shot the guard, ending his misery. She also shot at the few survivors from the explosion. A devious smile formed on her face. "This is the most fun I had in years."

"Not as fun as what I have planned for you." Shalton walked through the smoke wearing full body armor.

"So, you want to join in on the fun." Blackfire blasted a few rounds of the laser gun she is holding at Shalton.

Shalton brought his arm up deflecting the laser away from him.

"Hm. Clever boy." Blackfire threw the gun away and started shooting starbolts at Blackfire.

Shalton ran up to Blackfire. He avoids the attacks by Blackfire. Blackfire punched Shalton in the face. He recovered quickly and landed a huge blow to Blackfire's face. Blackfire was knocked down to the ground. She got up, and flew next to Shalton. Shalton side kicked Blackfire that sent her to a nearby wall. She tried to land another punch, but Shalton blocked it. Shalton punched Blackfire in the stomach. A bit of blood trickled out of Blackfire's mouth. Shalton took a hold of Blackfire's throat, and slammed her down.

Shalton took out the now, extremely hurt Blackfire. "Unfortunately for you Blackfire, this isn't over."

Docking Bay

Cyborg kicked another panel out. "Here it is...crap."

A ton of soldiers were readying their weapons at them. "Halt!"

Speedy took out a number of arrows. "There is only one thing left to do."

"Azerath, Metrion, Zinthos!" Raven raised a huge block and started sweeping a number of the guards away.

Robin ran in and threw a number of exploding discs. The guards are all shot at the incoming discs. Robin then karate kicked the first guard he came into contact with.

Speedy kicked a guard to the left. He launched a volley of arrows at a bunch of incoming guards. Speedy spin kicked a guard behind him who was trying to sneak up on Speedy.

Beast Boy changed into a cheetah, and dodged laser fire. He swept away a guard, and destroyed his gun.

Starfire started blasting at a number of guards. One guard grabbed her from behind. Starfire broke the guard's hold, spun around, and kicked the guard away. Another guard came up next to her. She spun and kicked his gun away.

Cyborg started bashing another guard. To his side, a guard shot his laser, making burn marks on Cyborg's armor. Cyborg picked up a few guards that are near him, and threw them towards the firing guards.

Robin took out a Bo Staff and bashed a few more guards. He karate kicked a guard, breaking his legs, and then bashed his head with the Bo Staff, damaging his visor.

Beast Boy turned into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. "Rooooooaaaaaaarrrrrr!" The few guards that are left standing were all shaking in fear, and started running away.

A guard was digging in his nails. "Agggggggghhhh." The guard was being dragged by Raven, and was thrown to the side of a nearby ship. He fell to the floor in a deafening thud.

Robin clasped the dust away from his hands. "That should do it. All we need to do is..." He looked up at the level above him. Shalton was holding a weak Blackfire in his hand. "No." Anger rose in Robin's eyes. Robin rushed towards the door.

Speedy looked up. "This won't be good."

Torture Room

Blackfire was now tied to a type of torture device. Her mouth has a trickle of blood coming out of it, and has a black eye.

Shalton brought her chin up. "Well, well, well. You thought you could oppose me! I'll show you what disobedience to me will mean." Shalton took a nasty looking syringe with who knew what's in it. He brought it over to her head. "This should make you better obedient."

Blackfire opened her good eye and chuckled lightly.

"What is it?" Shalton's anger increased.

As Shalton was about to bring down the syringe, Robin slammed Shalton on the side. Robin punched Shalton in the face over and over again. "Don't you dare touch her!" Shalton brought his arm up, causing Robin to slam the far wall. Robin fell to the ground as he struggled to get up. "Grrrrr." Robin looked up and sees Shalton running towards him.

"You dare fight the King of Anteria?" Shalton brought his fist down. "I'll teach you to mess in my affairs!"

"Robin!" Blackfire screamed as she sees the horror in front of her. Blackfire started to wiggle out of the restraints on one hand.

Robin dropped down before another punch could make contract. He kicked the massive Shalton off of his feet. Robin strife to the side as Shalton brought down another punch in his direction. Robin flips as his feet heads toward Shalton's face. The blow breaks Shalton's nose. "How'd you like that?" Robin taunted.

Shalton wiped his face. "You will pay for that Earth creature." Shalton kicked Robin in the stomach. The force sent Robin to a shelf full of torture devices.

Shalton, with renewed vigor, started to step forward toward Robin. "I hope you're happy about your 'hero' Blackfire. He is about to meet a warrior's end."

Robin shook his head in order to get his bearings in order. He noticed a spinning device next to him. It appeared to be some sort of saw like device. At the speed that it was going... 'Hmmm...I wonder.' Robin pulled a pin.

The blade spun toward Shalton. Shalton, showing a moment of disgust, brought his arms up to prevent the blade from hitting his face. However, when the blade hit, the blade started to go through his armored armband, and through his arm. "Arrrrrgggh." Shalton's arm fell.

Blackfire freed her left arm, and instantly began working on freeing her right arm.

Robin took an axe-like device, got up and started rushing Shalton and screamed in some sort of battle cry. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh." Before they make contact, Robin jumped kicked. His foot made contact with Shalton.

Shalton and Robin shattered the glass. Both fell to the Docking Bay floor.

Docking Bay

Cyborg, Beast Boy, Speedy, Starfire and Raven all stared in shock as they see the now one arm Shalton and Robin fell to the floor. Robin started hacking away at Shalton in any opening he could find. Shalton tried to kick Robin off. Instead Robin jumped before hand, and with the device in his hand, Robin sliced Shalton's leg off. In the air, Robin brings the axe-like device over his head, and he brought it down to Shalton's chest. In Shalton's futile attempt to block the attack, he brought his remaining arm up. Instead, Shalton loses his other arm as the axe-like device made contact with Shalton's chest armor.

Starfire couldn't believe the brutality of the attack from Robin. "Robin?"

Robin took out a knife. "Your reign is over, even before it began." Robin took the knife and held it above Shalton's head.

"Do you really think killing me, is such a good idea?" Shalton spat out blood from his mouth. "I am a prominent figure of my people! Imagine their reaction if someone like me were killed by the likes of you. Your planet will have no chance."

Cyborg looked scared. "Robin, look, he is a bastard and all but, he doesn't deserve it. Let the Green Lantern deal with it."

Starfire chimed in. "Yes, we have courts to deal with this. You should not kill him!"

Speedy got up to Robin. "Robin, get a hold of yourself. You already defeated him. Cyborg's right, he doesn't deserve it."

Beast Boy nodded. "Whoa Robin. The others are right. He doesn't deserve it."

Raven nodded. "There has been enough death and killing for one night."

Blackfire flew down next to Robin. "Do it Robin!"

Robin smirked. "I'll take my chances." Robin slammed the knife into the head of Shalton.

Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, Speedy, and Starfire all stared at Robin stunned.

Blackfire smirked.

Robin got up and walks towards the T-Sub (that, luckily, the Anterians have not touched since arriving).

"Robin?" Starfire reached out to Robin.

"Lets go home." Robin coldly responded.

Raven looked back at Blackfire. 'This is your doing!'

Beast Boy was standing there stunned. "Robin? How could he?"

Speedy frowned. 'I have a feeling that the worst is yet to come.'

Yes. The exciting Chapter 10 is finally over. I don't have much left to say, other then that I now have only 2 chapters left before the exciting conclusion of "Dangerous Love Affair"! My next update, either my Eva fic, or my "Two Birds..." fic, or maybe even "Silent Titan". I might even start another non-Teen Titan story as well! Don't hold your breath on that, but it is possible.

Next chapter, what are the consequences of Robin's action. Will tensions boil over? Will the Teen Titans survive? Until then...later.
