Chapter 13- Fried Chicken and A God

"I, Issei, am the son of Great Red and Ophis."

Rias just looked silently at Issei with a blank expression, almost as if she were a corpse.

Silence filled the air.

Rias stepped back.

"You're pulling my leg, right?" Rias responds, dead seriously. She was clinging to the last bit of sense she had left.

Issei looked at her with a goofy smirk.

"Why would I?"

Rias began connecting the dots. Issei's abandonment, the famous 5-year disappearance of Ophis, everything. She wasn't stupid, in fact, she was quite informed.

Rias' blank face morphed into a mortified one.

"Rias…"

Issei made a somber expression as he turned around to view the city lights, alone, like he'd always had. 'I guess I still have Ray…'

Rias and Issei stood there for 30 seconds, Rias staring at Issei, and Issei staring at the city.

Rias then slapped herself, Issei hearing the audible shockwave. A small red bruise was left on Rias' cheek. Issei's face of somberness turned into one of surprise. 'What the hell', he thought.

Issei then swiftly turned around to see Rias' face glowing with a bright smile. "I-" "I'm sorry Issei! I promised you I wouldn't, but I was shocked out of my mind!"

"You should've seen Ray's face when I told her!"

Issei and Rias began laughing, not at Issei's shitty attempt at lightening the mood, but at the whole situation. As perplexing as it was, simple laughter helped to remedy the 'Strongest Being in the Universe revealing himself in front of the Great Devil's Little Sister' thing that was happening.

"I don't know why it took me so long to realize, but what's with the hair? I thought you went to get it bleached, but I guess maybe something else happened?"

Issei laughed, along with Rias having a confused face.

"Well let's just say… that I awakened my powers. For the longest time I always hated my parents-my biological ones. 'Great Red' and 'Ophis' were words that made me want to poke my eyes out. What sucked even more is that my power resembled theirs, so I couldn't use my power without people knowing who I was, meaning those two disgusting dragons' names were always looming over my head, until today-"

"That doesn't answer my question. All I want to know is about your gold hair, not your life story… although I guess I wouldn't mind listening…" Rias murmured with a blush.

"Damnit Rias, I was getting there. Continuing on, today I was doing my normal training with Tannin. Yes, that's where I normally go to train, pretty sure your brother isn't too happy about that after what I pulled…"

"What did you do…"

"Uh… I awakened. While I was meditating with Tannin, he said, 'You're not 5 years old'. That sentence woke me up. My fixation on them and abandoning me is what made me so angry, so if I was always thinking about them, I would never be able to be my own person…"

Issei paused to let the suspense build.

"Then I erupted in a gold aura… and well I'm probably stronger than anything in this universe right now. Oh yea, I also have a full dragon form now."

"Dude, just tell me why your hair is gold…"

"Oh yeah, it was my original hair: brown hair with gold highlights and tips. At school, I was seen as a monster because I didn't know how to interact with people, then I would do something that was physically impossible, like running as fast as a car on the track. Having shiny gold hair didn't really help me in that regard, so I did away with it using magic."

"Well I get why you changed it… but you're like 30 times cuter- I mean more manly with that hair."

'Whew, that was close' Rias thought.

"I appreciate it, Rias"

Rias' glad expression wore into a somber face, as the wind blew her glistening red hair into her eyes. It seemed like she was trying to muster up courage to say something, but she couldn't quite get it out.

There was a bit of an awkward silence as the wind continued to howl.

"Issei… about that engagement I talked about earlier…"

"-pick a time and a date for me to send him to hades."

Rias' face glowed as her somber expression turned into a bright excited expression. Her eyes widened as her blue irises glistened in the moonlight. Her cheeks also blossomed into a light pink color.

"THANK YOU ISSEI!" Rias screamed, as tears shot from the corners of her eyes. She jumped onto Issei and buried her head into his chest. Issei was a bit dense, so he had absolutely no idea what this meant.

"No worries." Issei calmly replied to Rias.

Issei suddenly felt a chill. A wrath 10 times that of Ophis stood behind him.

"Uh… Ray I can explain…" Issei whispered. Rias kept her head buried into Issei's chest, even though he was gesturing as much as he could to get her away from him.

He heard footsteps reverberate through the howling wind.

Issei pushed Rias out of his arms, much to her displeasure, and began turning his head, until he felt one warm hand create a sharp pain on his right ear.

Issei normally had other-worldly senses, but he was so damn flustered that even his senses dulled. Before he could see anything else, he noticed his eyes were interlocked with Rays. Looking straight ahead into her velvet eyes which housed a pissed off look, even he felt a slight amount of terror.

"Issei… I'll have your explanation."

"Uh-this-uh-"

"Ugh… so much for secrets… Guess he told you, didn't he Rias."

"Yeah…"

"Well, nothing we can do about it now. But Issei, if you ever make a break for the window like you just did, your head will be mine."

"A mounted dragon head is a hard thing to get, but alright."

"I'll let you off the hook this time, just because of that date tomorrow."

"Anyways, Rias, I said a time and a date to beat your favorite person."

"He's coming by the club room tomorrow."

"You're fucking kidding-"

"That's in the middle of our date!" Raynare interjected.

sigh "Rias, could you just tell this man whore to fight a rating game or whatever with me. These things just are peerage versus peerage, right? Just have him do a rating game with his peerage versus me. I can take him and his goons, easy. Even though I'm your proxy, it'd be easier to drive home the message if I just beat him up myself."

"Issei… the man's name is Riser, he is a high-class devil, and to kill him you'd need to at least be God-Class because of his regenerative pow-wait, nevermind. Forgot who you were for a second…"

"Damn right… So tomorrow? Is there any other day?"

"Uhhhh… No… He's coming by the club tomorrow the prepare me for the wedding that's occurring in 3 days…"

"THE WHAT!?" Ray and Issei simultaneously interjected.

An awkward silence filled the breezy rooftop.

"Ok, can we go inside now. I'm getting cold-"

"You're the fucking one who grabbed Rias and flew up here," Ray interjected.

"I know, let's just go inside."

"Yeah I guess it is getting kinda chilly," Rias finished.

"Rias, you should just go home… I don't know why you're still here."

"...but I wanted to spend a couple more minutes with yo-"

Rias felt Ray's murderous intent rise with every word that came out of her mouth.

"-Actually I think I have something to do. See you at the rating game Issei!"

"Of course."

Ray calmed down a bit, and let out a big sigh.

"Ok, now let's go inside."

The couple both spread their contrasting wings and flew back to their apartment.

Scene Break - In Apartment Bedroom

Issei was changed into his boxers and Ray was changed into her nightgown.

After Issei woke up pawing at Ray's breasts when he first moved in, he would sleep on the couch whenever Ray wore anything less than a nightgown to bed. Even though Issei awakened his draconic powers, his tolerance for seductiveness and sexiness was really low, so he'd get really flustered whenever Ray's boobs were shown, even in her Fallen-Angel garb. He just couldn't handle it.

"Whew… that was an experience. Hopefully my identity doesn't get released… Oh wait, I didn't tell you-"

"I overheard you talking to Rias about your 'oh so extravagant' story of Mr. God Super Shenron."

"Close, except I can't give wishes."

"You're taking me on that date tomorrow, do that and my wish is fulfilled."

"You got me there…"

"We'll leave it at that. Good night Issei!"

"Goodnight Ray," Issei forced out, somewhat unnerved that his date, that he made up on the spot to calm Ray down, was the next day.

The Next Morning

It was Saturday. The day of his date with one of the women he loved, but Ray was always his number one.

Issei and Ray were laying in bed. Unfortunately, Issei had no clue what to do. No plans, no idea.

Issei's Thought Process - "Uhhh, so what the fuck do I do. So I gotta beat this chicken wing and take my girl on a date? So many things can, and probably will go wrong. Well, I do have the ability to reverse time, but that's cheating. So what do girls like to do… I think Ray would like a horror movie or something, she's into that dark shit. How about getting some Udon after? My friends told me Marugame is a great place. Aight. Now how should I finish this… Take her to the dimensional gap? Oh yeah forgot those 2 retarded Dragons are gonna be there… Hmmm… I haven't shown her the Dragon portion of the Underworld. Yeah! Perfect!

"Issei! Earth to Issei! Issei!" Ray yelled attempting to penetrate Issei's focus.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about something."

"You want coffee?"

"Definitely"

"Alright 3"

Ray got out of bed in her thin nightgown and started walking towards the kitchen. While she was walking, she turned around, and blew a kiss at Issei.

'fuck' Issei thought. He wasn't mentally prepared for a spontaneous date.

Issei got up, and sported some dark blue jeans, a white t-shirt, with a red leather jacket over it. With his gold hair and manly face, any girl would melt at the sight of him.

Issei began to get lost in his thoughts.

Ok. Today's agenda:

-Kill the Rias boyfriend guy

-Talk my way out of war with the supernatural world

-Take Ray shopping

-Take Ray out to eat

-Take Ray to a shrine to watch the stars

-Go to sleep

-Cry

"Issei… Issei! Earth to Issei! Mars to Isse!" Issei heard, as Ray had been yelling his name. Again.

"Sorry! Just lost in my thoughts. Again."

"Here's your coffee. 3 3 3"

'What am I gonna do with this woman?' Issei thought.

Scene Break

Issei vanished with Ray to his very own Kuoh Academy. He silently popped right behind Rias, as she was sitting at her desk. The first thing he noticed was a cute-looking devil maid along with some burnt chicken strips on the side.

'Oh shit.' Issei thought.

Everyone in the room, along with the remainder of Rias' peerage, turned to him and gave him a wide-eyed glare.

After a few moments of silence, the maid was the first to speak up.

"Rias, who is this young boy behind you?"

Rias could do nothing but smile.

"He's my proxy piece. The one that will take my whole peerage's place in the fight."

Riser, along with his peerage burst into intense laughter, while the rest of the peerage sat shocked by Issei.

"Buchou, don't you think-" Akeno began to say, but was quickly cut off.

"Nope. He will fight for my sake. Consider this your last breath Riser."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! YOU THINK YOUR LITTLE HUMAN BOY COULD EVEN TOUCH ME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHWAHWHAWUDOISAJDSA" Riser cried. His peerage followed suit.

Issei was concealing his presence, so Grayfia just mistook him for a human that had an evil piece with him. Grayfia waited for the banter to calm.

"Rias, he isn't a devil. How do you expect him to fight Riser's whole peerage-"

"Excuse me, cute devil maid lady. Just curious, is killing allowed in these rating games?"

Grayfia was stunned. This human must either be really strong or really stupid. Taking a moment to recover, Grayfia responded with,

"Although deaths in a rating game are regarded as 'accidents', we would advise you not to kill, as it may bring you enemies."

That last part went in and out of Issei's ears.

"Ok. Cmon, I've got a date to get to. Let's get this show on the road."

Long time no smell. I kinda uh forgot about this story…

Ok that was a lie. I get emails about this shit every day. "When are you gonna continue the story?" Well here ya go. I rewrote this like 3 times and now it's finally done. I hope you guys enjoy it :D

Ok so, future chapters… I know this chapter was a big "THE ONE PIECE IS REAL" moment, but idk how long it'll be before I write again.
