I sit in the airport, bouncing my knees anxiously. This day really came so soon, the day to begin a new life. It was so hard to say goodbye to all my friends. It broke my heart when they begged me to stay. But I'm a grown woman, I can make my own decisions! That decision unfortunately happened to be moving away.

As much of a utopia as my old home was, it can't beat something fresh, new neighbors, a place with plenty more storage for all my belongings... And what better place to restart than on a tropical island? I heard about this new initiative through Nook Inc., an island getaway package. I could buy a house by the beach and befriend so many new people! The calm sound of waves crashing, the sun beating down on my body, plenty of relaxation... How could I possibly say no to all of that?

And now I'm awaiting my flight, only an hour or two away from that dream. I pull my luggage close to make sure one last time that I have everything. I see clothes, toiletries, a few furniture leaves... Yep, looks like I have all the essentials in my first suitcase. I had to sell a lot of my belongings to afford this dumb ticket, but I made sure to hang onto my favorites.

I glance to my left, then to my right. No one's looking. I open my second suitcase. Inside are a pacifier, a few toys, and lots of diapers... adult-sized diapers. My special fascination. I like to wear diapers and act like a baby in my spare time. Heck, even right now I'm wearing one. Very few of my old friends knew of my fetish, and even fewer joined me in those playdates.

But now that I'm moving and forming new relationships, I should keep this more on the downlow. Can you imagine your first impression of someone is something like, "Hi! I'm Charlie, and I like to poop my pants like a kid!"? Embarrassing. If we become close, then I'll share my secret with them.

*BING BONG*

*Your attention, please. Flight 24 is now boarding.*

That's my cue. I zip my suitcases back up. Ticket in hand, I run up to the terminal and start the journey to my new home...

I spend most of the flight listening to music and napping. I eventually wake up to a voice over the speakers alerting us that we're approaching our destination, an island called Alluria. I rub my eyes and look out the window of the plane. What a cute little island! Flowers everywhere, a few animals happily running around, a fruit orchard to the north? This is exactly what I envisioned! I excitedly wiggle in my seat. My diaper crinkles, but thankfully, it's barely audible over the turbulence.

Once we land, I gather my things and step off the plane. I take a deep breath of salty ocean air. This is my new home. I see a big plaza right ahead. This must be where I get all squared away, right? I muster up the courage to approach and enter the building. "Hello?"

"Ah, hello!" A tanuki waves me over to the front counter. "What can we do for you, miss?"

"I'm, um... I'm new here. Is this the right place to become a citizen and get a house?" I awkwardly ask.

The tanuki nods. "Yes yes, it is! My name is Tom Nook, pleased to meet you. This is my assistant Isabelle."

A yellow dog from the back of the room waves hello. "Hi! That would be me, eheh... It's a delight to have a new member of our little community!" she adds.

"Let me just check something..." Tom Nook takes a moment to rummage through some paperwork. "Would you happen to be Miss Charlotte?"

"I go by Charlie, but... yeah, that's me," I confirm.

"Excellent! We were already informed of your arrival, so we should have all the citizenship requirements squared away..." Tom Nook says. "Yes yes, even an online payment to reserve a house! Now we may need to have you stay in a tent for the first night or so. But we will do our best to build your new home swiftly!"

That ticked me off a little. I was totally expecting them to have already built the house, especially since I already bought this getaway package. But I didn't want to be rude, so... "Take all the time you need, both of you."

Tom Nook smiles. Isabelle hands me a camping kit and says, "Thank you! Here is your tent kit, just place it wherever you like. And if you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask our island representative, Mr. Nook, or myself! We welcome you to Alluria." I nod and leave the building. That was an easy start. Now I just need to find a good spot to pitch my tent. I scan around to scope out the best location...

"Need some help there?"

I yelp and drop my camping kit. I almost wet myself, too. "What the...?!" I turn around and see a man in a tropical shirt, shorts, and sandals. "Could you not sneak up on me, please?"

"Sorry, looked like you were stuck in a daze," he casually says. "You new here?"

"Um, yeah... My name's Charlie," I tell him.

"Island Rep Lucas. Nice to meet you, Charlie."

Wait, Island Rep? Oh crap, this was the guy. I gulp and scramble to retrieve the kit. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry for that reaction. I had no idea you were the island representative Nook and Isabelle mentioned!"

He waves his hand. "Don't worry about it. Anyway, if you want a good spot, you can park riiiiight there by the beach or just next to my place."

I groan and think. Maybe it would be best to set up right next to him. You never know when you need some quick help. "Which is your house?"

"Oh, right over here! If you need anything until your house is built, just stop by anytime!" Lucas says with a cocky smile. It's a bit obnoxious, but I greatly appreciate the gesture. "I should get back to bug catching, heheh!"

"...Bug catching, huh?"

Lucas gives me a funny look. "You've never gone bug catching before, have you?" I shake my head no. "Tell you what, buy or craft yourself a net sometime. I'd love to see you get into it."

Truth be told, I have never tried catching bugs or fish or anything like that before. Sure, I'm outdoorsy, but that's more for soccer and fresh air, not getting little creatures all over me. But if it will get me more Bells, I'll have to give it a shot. I might need to spend Bells to earn Bells, though... unless I try and craft? What does he mean by that?

"Take care, Charlie! I'll always be around to help." He chuckles and goes back to skipping around town. I shrug and head towards his house.

After a good while of struggling, I manage to get the tent set up and my belongings unpacked. For the most part, anyway. I take off my old clothes and change into a nightshirt for a quick nap. I look down at my diaper. Been waiting for a chance at relief all day. I sigh and relax my bladder, feeling the warm pee spread across the padding. Feels so good to let loose...

Once that's taken care of, I crawl into my sleeping bag and turn out the lamp. Will I enjoy this new home or will I regret it? There's so much to explore and so many animals here to meet. I just hope no one finds out about my secret and teases me for it, especially that Lucas guy. I should worry about that tomorrow, though. It's been a long day. Baby's earned some rest.
