Chapter 1.
"I'll be back soon you guys." Waving goodbye, Kagome started to walk towards the well. "Wait," Inuyasha said, "When are you coming back?" "Soon, very soon. So don't worry Inu-""Guys get over here!!!" Songo was screaming. "A demon is attacking one of the near by villages!" Inuyasha, and Kagome ran to where Songo, Miroku and Shippo were standing." This boy came running all the way here from the other village." Said Songo. Out of breath the little boy started to explain. "You must help our village. There is an evil demon, a woman I should say." Catching his breath he continued." She is an elderly priestess." Right when he said that they thought is was Tsubaki." She has placed a barrier around the village so no one could get in or out. The barrier is very strong, I tried to get back in the village to help, but the barrier is too strong. I could see the men and women inside. They are all running frantically. You must come to help." The little boy finished. "Well if the barrier is so strong how did you get out? " Questioned Inuyasha. "I was out finding fruit for my family, I was out of the villages borders so I didn't get trapped inside." "Keh."
"Well we must hurry." Said Miroku. "Myself, Shippo, the boy, and Songo will take Kilala. Inuyasha you will carry Kagome." 'Good, I love to carry her around.' Inuyasha thought. "Hey by the way has anyone seen Songo?" Miroku asked. Shortly after Songo appeared on Kilala in the air. She lowered her down and told the others to get on. "You ready Kagome?" Inuyasha questioned. "Ya, and I hope we can defeat Tsubaki sooner than we did last time." After that Inuyasha cradled Kagome in his arms and started off ahead of the others.
"I will get revenge on Kagome and Inuyasha!" Tsubaki yelled and killed another horrified villager. "Know I know that Kagome is Inuyasha's weakness, I will strike her harder than before, and when she comes she will be the first to suffer!!"
"I can sense her. She is getting near." Kagome said to Inuyasha. "Ya, well when I see her again she will pay for what she did to you and this time I will not let her hurt you." Inuyasha was furious after the thought of their last battle with her, and how she hurt Kagome, and turned her against him. 'I'm so glad I have him to protect me, I wish I could tell him how I feel. But I'm afraid he still likes Kikyo.' Kagome thought.
Just when they arrived Tsubaki had killed the little boy's parents. This made Inuyasha sick to his stomach. But of course that didn't stop him…
