Chapter 5: Tradecraft

A little while after entering the giant mall-like city, they were brought to see the mayor in his office. Piper went with them as well with Danny helping them get down there as well. They were in the former security area now as a resting lounge for the guard and a personal office for the Mayor as well. They were waiting for him to come down while he was finishing stuff on the first floor of the city. Dogmeat was sitting next to Nate's chair.
Piper sighed and replied, "I should of known that he would be late. Every time I need to see him or he's called into the city area, he's late! What could be possibly be doing?"
"Be glad I let you in my city to even live in, Wright!", a voice yelled out.
They looked behind him and a tall male wearing a fancy suit and hat walked in with another guard behind him and he walked over to his desk and sat down and replied, "After all those stories you've made, you've made every paranoid and on edge! Maybe I should have your printing press scrapped for parts!"
"I can see the headlines. Tyrant mayor threatens to stop the presses after a opinion is said! I can see it now!"
He only sighed and replied, "Just go easy for the time being while your friends are here with us, okay?"
She sighed and then only nodded as she replied, "I have to check on Nat now. See you all later."
The guys waived to her as she left the office and then the mayor sighed and replied, "How do we put up with her newspaper and attitude?"
He the looked at the guys and replied, "I'm New Mallvilla City Mayor Alex McDonough and I've been here for the last 14 years now. I heard about you both crushing any raider that gets in your way! I'll be proud to help you settle here."
He looked at his bodyguard and replied, "Trevor, can you and your son show our new friends around our city to make sure they do get settled here after our little meeting?"
He nodded and then the mayor opened his drawer and took out two envelopes and he replied, "Inside is 500 mall bucks apiece. We use them as currency around the city and you can trade any currency found around the Commonwealth to a money booth nearby and trade in what you have. Also, there apartment keys in the nearby hotel we use as apartment and your rooms are on the 2nd floor where the Wright girls live. They're down the hall from them. Enjoy living here and if you help us more, we'll talk about more wonderful stuff in the future, my new friends."
Nate pointed at Dogmeat and replied, "This is my pet Dogmeat and Is it okay he lives with me and walks with me around the city?"
"Not a problem at all, my friend. We'll make sure to let the people know about your pet. As long as you or your friends are with him at the times, there will be no trouble at all, sir. Do either of you have any other questions for us?"
They both kept quiet and then the Mayor then replied, "Trevor, our meeting is over. Help them around and meet back here afterwards."
Trevor nodded and then he looked at the guys and replied, "Follow me out and we'll lead you to our Marketplace, kids."
The guys got up and they and Dogmeat followed the guards out of the office and then the mayor nodded and replied, "Finally, Piper brings in someone that are quiet and won't cause any trouble. I hope those guys like where they live now."

About 5 minutes after leaving the room, they were in the main area of the first floor. It used to be one of the largest indoor amusement parks in the United States and after the great war, people turned it into a large park with hopes of trying to turn the park with a few working rides and fun areas for the kids. They were at the main area that used to be a food court and was now being used as a large market place. Trevor was showing the guys everything with Piper deciding to join them as well.
Trevor then replied, "This is our marketplace, guys."
He pointed to large brown stall with two ammo boxes on its shelves and he replied, "This place is called Commonwealth Weaponry and you can trade, buy or sell weapons and ammo found in the Commonwealth. Arturo Rodriguez runs the place and he has a shy daughter named Nina."
They both nodded and the middle-aged man was running the stand and he smiled and replied, "Welcome, new ones. What do you both have?"
Nate took the two rifles he had grabbed from his car and he he placed them both on the counter and Arturo nodded and replied, "These both look amazing! How is a offer of 125 mall bucks for the both of you sound?"
Mike nodded and replied, "That would sound amazing, sir."
He nodded as he moved the rifles counted and he took some mall bucks and he placed 2 piles of money and they had a twenty, a five and a hundred and Arturo smiled and replied, "Have a great day, guys."
They walked away and he pointed to another stand and a chill-looking bearded guy was chatting with a towns member and Trevor resumed, "This is called the Chem-I-Care pharmacy and chem shop. He is called Solomon and he sells first aid supplies and various other safe chems. He does good business."
He then pointed at the one next to him being run my a middle-aged man wearing a baseball uniform and he replied, "That is called Swatters. They sell weapons called Swatter and it's a armored baseball bats."
He pointed at the one that was furthest from the right and he replied, "That's the Mallvilla Card Star Shop and trading post and it's owned by Rocco Newman.
He looked at them and replied, "That's are main shops. There is also a meat market style stand, a hair salon-style of shop, a medical area run by the great Doctor Tahashi Sun and his assistant Derek Crocker, a school for the kids and a wonderful area for a bar called the Mall Star Bar and many other places to shop. I hope you emjoy your days in our city."
Mike nodded and replied, "From turning a large mall into a place for people to live their lives in is so amazing. I'll love it here."
Nate nodded and replied, "So wil I. I'm heading to the apartment to hang out with Dogmeat. I'll see you both later."
He got up and left and Piper looked at Mike and replied, "Any other questions?"
Mike nodded and relied, "Is the food court still being used/"
He nodded and replied, "Of course. If you have mall bucks, you'll get a great meal for yourself. Also, the fourth floor of Mallvilla is reserved for the elite and rich members of the city like our mayor and various well-known citizens of our town. I Have to get back to the mayor."
He and his son both left and then Mike nodded and replied, "It's going to be a wonderful time for me and Nate."
Piper nodded as they both walked away from the other area as well.

At about 4:00 that next morning About a mile outside of the main entrance of Mallvilla, a tall bald-headed man wearing a pair of sunglasses was near a motor bike. He had a backpack and a map as well.
He nodded and replied, "So those guys finally made it. I've been watching from far behind. Boss wanted to watch you all hopefully help those poor people that have been takened hostage."
He looked at a map he brought with him and he nodded and replied, "They're locked up somewhere close to here at least."

Later that next morning, the gang was hanging out of the food court on the 3rd floor. Most of the shops were wiped out, but a lot of locations were still usable. THe chef made everyone oatmeal made with Mutfruit, a very tangy and sweet fruit only grown in the Commonwealth.
Mike nodded and replied, "Wow, this oatmeal is so good. The fruits give them more flavor."
As they all continued to eat, Danny and Trevor brought in the same guy from earlier in the morning and then Danny replied, "This guy wanted to see you three about something big."
They looked at him and Piper replied, "Who are you, sir?"
He nodded and replied, "I'm Deacon, a traveler of the Minnesota Commonwealth and I'm here to get help from some of the state's best duelist. Me and a friend of mine that couldn't make it today heard about your wins against those foolish raiders. I have something with I want to show you all."
He took a small notebook from his backpack and handed it to her and Piper grabbed it and she opened it up to the 3rd page and it said HELP, WE ARE TRAPPED IN THE UNDERGROUND GALLERIA MALL AREA BY THESE 3 CRAZED ROBOTS! SEND HELP NOW! written in black letters and Nate then replied, "Wow, that's sounds really bad. Where'd you find this book?"
He sighed and replied, "During a Supply run in the Downtown area of Minneapolis. Near the entrance of the underground area. There was this raider that was dead due to many bullet holes in his body and his last words is to save those people from those robots. He died right there and now and I took the supplies he had and they were a decent rifle and nicely made med kit box and left. What a day."
Mike then replied, "What is the Underground Galleria Mall from the message anyway?"
Danny then replied, "I'll answer that one. It's a special Underground mall that was supposed to be one of the best places to shop in the state. It started work on it in 2069 and it was finally completed in August of 2077 and it was supposed to have their opening day on Saturday November 3rd of that same year, but the Great War happened and the mall was left to rot. No one knows what is down there and no one would dare to go down there except for a raider or two."
Nate then replied, "We have to do this, guys. We need to save those people."
Piper nodded and replied, "We need to head out now."
Trevor looked at Danny and replied, "Take one of the express shuttles and lead them there and wait for them to come back, son. If anything happens badly, let us know right away!"
Nate then replied, "Can someone keep a eye on my dog while I'm gone?"
Trevor nodded as his son lead the gang out and Trevor looked at the traveler and replied, "What can we do to thank you for this important tip?"
"I would like to trade my rifle and med kit I found from that raider for about 250 mall bucks and a new smaller weapon maybe?"
"We can do that for you, sir. Follow me, please."

About a hour or so later, they arrived in the middle of a park outside of the abandoned U.S. Bank Stadium and after finding a nearby entrance, they were in the area outside of the main entrance that said UNDERGROUND GALLERIA MAIN ENTRANCE on it. Danny stayed behind to watch their ride from getting damaged."
Nate nodded and replied, "Here we go."
He took a keycard and slid it through the nearby slot and it quickly opened up and inside it looked time never went on! It was super clean and a nearby fountain had water that looked amazing with various small coins at the surface of it and the other doors and shops were all locked up with large metal doors that said CLOSED UP on them and the gang walked in and Piper looked around and replied, "This place is beautiful."
Suddenly, their only entrance quickly slammed down shut and then loud alarms began to go off and Mike then replied, "This is not good!"
"ATTENTION TRESPASSERS IN MY GALLERIA, YOU ARE NOW TRAPPED BY ME AND MY GROUP! STAY THERE UNTIL WE ENTER!", a loud booming voice was heard from a nearby loudspeaker and Piper then replied, "This is not good at all! That voice was loud and angry sounding!"
Suddenly, the back main door that lead to more of the Galleria opened up and a strange robot walked in and it looked like a large squid-like robot with 4 metal squid-like arms and a large round head with two eyes and besides the robots were two taller and dangerous-looking robots were standing near it as the door went down and Nate then replied, "What is it this?"
"I'll ask the questions, human!", the middle robot announced in a deep voice. "I am the head Director of the Underground Galleria Mall! Why are you here and are why are you here to try to loot through my Galleria like the others tried? It won't work for me! I shot at the one that tried to ask me and my sensors are telling me that raider is now deceased!"
Piper then replied, "They weren't trying to riot anywhere, you metal menace! They were trying to avoid those raiders and then you and your robots attacked!"
"Watch what you say, human! Those Assaultrons are my bodyguards! We captured all of those humans about 2 weeks ago! I've sentenced them all to life down here and they refuse to be our human slaves! Until they do so, they'll be staying put! We do supply them with a lving area that has water and food in it as well."
Piper then replied, "We are saving them! I'm guessing you can duel, rust bucket?"
"Watch what you say, lady! Of course I can duel! My Programmer installed me with a way to duel with a very powerful deck! I defeated both raiders with no trouble at all!"
"I thought so. We duel now and if I win, you let them all go and if you do win, I'll be your new slave and you release my friends behind me!"
"That gamble sounds better then the ones those raider humans tried with me. I accept your offer, lady!"
As Piper activated the Pip Boy and it folded into a duel disk, a small duel disk-like arm appeared on the arm of the machine and as Piper drew 5 cards, the images of 5 large cards appeared in front of the robot with their backs facing Piper and Nate nodded and replied, "This will be a intresting duel to watch."
"GAME ON!", the robot announced loudly.

"I always let all human challengers make the first move. Make it quick, lady!"
"You're going to be a metal pain in the ass during this duel.. I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
A new card appeared in front of the robot and it began to speak, "I start by activating Heart of the Underdog and Machine Assembly Line!"
The two spells appeared.
"Cyber Falcon, come to the field!"
As it played the card, a large robot-like falcon appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 1,600).
"Destroy her facedown monster with Cybernetic Wing Slash!"
It quickly flew in and a Amazoness Baby Tiger appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and the wings slashed at the small Beast and it let out a cute growling-like noise before shattering.
"Nothing will stop me from defeating another flesh bag thief! Make your move!"
Piper drew a card and then he opened his field slot and replied, "I activate my Amazoness Village!"
As he slid the card into the slot and it closed up, the underground mall turned into a jungle-like village.
"I now summon my Fighter!"
As she sat the card down, the mighty bare-fisted Warrior appeared (ATK: 1,500 - 1,700).
"Destroy that thing!"
The amazoness went in and it drove her fist into it and it cracked all over before it exploded into hot shards of metal (UGG Director LP: 7700) and then a piece of the wing flew into the spell (Junk Counters: 0 - 1).
"Your move, junk pile!"
A new card appeared in front of it and it began to speak, "You humans use so many petty insults and it is really pathetic! Since I draw a Normal monster, I can reveal it and draw again!"
It flipped the card around and it was a Bokoichi the Freightning Car and then it drew a card and it was a Giga-Tech Wolf and it drew a card and was a Mechanicalchaser and it drew a again and then resumed, "I'll set a new monster facedown and also set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Piper drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Amazoness Sage!"
As she sat the card down, the amazon with a wooden staff appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 1,600).
"Attack his facedown monster!"
She aimed her staff and a burst of pure energy shot out and a Giga-Tech Wolf appeared on the card (DEF: 1,400) and the attack plowed into it and reduced it hot shards of metal & dust and then it quickly began to speak, "Since my Giga-Tech Wolf had more defense then attack, I activate my Broken Blocker to get a couple more from my deck!"
The facedown card lifted up and two more of the wolf machines appeared (DEF: 1,400 x2) and Piper nodded and replied, "Should of guessed so. When my Sage attacks a monster, you lose a spell or Trap!"
She aimed her scepter as a burst of light shot out and smashed the Heart of the Undedog to bits and then she pointed as Fighter went in and drove her fist into it it and it exploded into fiery hot metal and two more counters flew into the spell (Junk Counters: 1 - 3).
"I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
A new card appeared in front of it and it began to speak, "Time to deal the best damage ever to you, human! I activate my newly drawn Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and Piper's facedown Bottomless Trap Hole lifted up and blew into little shards.

As the other wolf vanished, the air reptile-like machine Joey Wheeler used in his dueling days appeared (ATK: 2,500 - 2,700).
"Destroy her Sage with Cybertech Slash!"
The huge machine flew in and slashed at the Amazoness and she groaned and then shattered into small pixelated shards that flew around her (Piper LP: 6900) and Piper quickly replied, "I use my Field Spell's effect! Since my monster was destroyed, I can Special Summon a Amazoness monster with a level less then or equal to hers!"
As she sat the card down, a 2nd Fighter appeared (ATK: 1,500 - 1,700).
"Your human monsters are nothing compared to my machine army! Your move."
Piper drew a card and replied, "I'll pass this turn."
It drew a card and it resumed, "I summon my Mechanicalchaser to the Field!"
As it played the card, the many-armed machine appeared (ATK: 1,850 - 2,050).
"I now install the Equip Spell Card High-Tech Claw to my Alligator!"
A equip card appeared and then it's large red claw began to glow.
"When a Level 5 or higher machine monster that is equipped to this card attacks, one of your Spell or Trap Cards is destroyed and that happens before the battle even happens! I target one of your Fighters!"
The machine went in and the claw glowed as the huts and jungle dissolved into dust, returning them to the underground mall (ATK: 1,700 x2 - 1,500 x2) and it went in and slashed at the Fighter and she groaned and then burst into pixelated shards.
"Curse your Fighter's effect! I won't bother with her and then I'll just end my turn."
Piper drew a card and replied, "I Summon my Amazoness Blowpiper!"
As she sat the card down, the blow dart-using amazon appeared (ATK: 800) and then she smiled and replied, "I activate Amazoness Spellcaster!"
Both machines began to glow (ATK 2,500 - 800) and then she smiled as the energy went through her body (ATK: 800 - 2,500) and Nate nodded and replied, "What a combo."
"I'll use her effect on your machine!"
It fired a dat and it slammed into the arm (ATK: 800 - 300).
"Destroy that thing!"
It fired a couple of darts and it shot out and slammed into the chest it and a shower of sparks was seen before a fiery explosion ripped through its chest, sending hot metal all over the field (UGG Director LP: 6000).
"There you go! I'll set a card and call it a turn for now."
A new card appeared in front of the machine and it began to speak, "I summon my Cyber Soldier of Darkworld!"
As it played the card, the dark android appeared (ATK: 1,400 - 1,600).
"Destroy her monster!"
the machine glowed as a beam of pure light shot out and slammed into her and she groaned and then shattered (Piper LP: 6100).
"Chaser, attack her Fighter!"
It went in and Piper smiled and replied, "I activate my Dramatic Rescue!"
The trap appeared and she vanished and a Swords Woman appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"Curse your monster! I'll set a card and call it a turn for now."
Piper drew a card and replied, "I activate Spellbook inside the Pot!"
Both drew 3 cards and then she resumed, "I Summon my Paladin!"
As she sat the card down, the white-gowned Amazon appeared (ATK: 1,700 - 1,900) and she played a Mystical Space Typhoon and the windstorm shot out and smashed the Assembly Line card into shards (ATK: 2,050 - 1,850) (ATK: 1,600 - 1,400).
"I equip my Swords Woman with Lucky Iron Axe!"
She began to glow (ATK: 1,500 - 2,000).
"Time for some fun! Paladin, attack!"
She went and slashed with her, cutting the sphere-shaped machine in twain with a single slash of her sword. The two pieces shattered.
"Swords Woman, attack!"
It went in and and struck the android with her axe and it exploded into hot metal (UGG Director LP: 5350) and Mike nodded and replied, "If she keeps the way she's going towards, she'll have this duel done and over with soon."
"There you go! I end my turn now."
It drew a new card and it began to speak, "I activate my Change Around Spell Card!"
A Spell appeared.
"This card allows me to send a monster of my choice back to your deck and then Special Summon a monster with the same level, type and attribute from your graveyard and I return your Swords Woman to Summon your Sage back to take her place!"
Swords Woman vanished and then Sage reappeared (ATK: 1,400) and Piper looked puzzled and replied, "Why do she do that?"
If you would stay patient, I would tell you soon enough! Since you control a monster and I don't, I Special Summon my Cyber Dragon!"
It played the card and the infamous serpent-like machine appeared with a metallic roar (ATK: 2,100) and Mike then replied, "This isn't looking good at all right now."
"Next I will summon my Drillago!"
As it played the card, the machine with many drills appeared (ATK: 1,600)
"I now activate one of the strongest Spell Cards in my deck! I play Clockwork Night!"
The spell appeared and Nate groaned and replied, "Noe I see why it used that Spell earlier."
"Thanks to this amazing Spell Card, Your monsters become machines and mine gain 500 attack and yours lose 500 attack!"
Her Amazon warriors began metallic androids and then both of the directors machines began to glow (ATK: 2,100 - 2,600) - (ATK: 1,600 - 2,100) and then rust spots appeared on Piper's monsters (ATK: 1,900 - 1,400) - (ATK: 1,400 - 900).
"Time to battle Phoenix attacks your Paladin robot and my Cyber Dragon will attack your Sage robot!"
The serpent-like machine let out a burst of fiery energy and it shot out and slammed into and smashed her Sage to little pieces and then the other dark machine charged and drilled into the robot Paladin and smashed it into small metal shards (Piper LP: 3700).
"No human will ever get the better of me! Make your move, human!"
Piper drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
It drew a new card and began to speak, "I'll set a monster of my own and I'll attack with my Drillago!"
It let out a burst of hot flames and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card(DEF: 600) before the dark machine drilled it to pieces and Piper didn't have anything to discard and the director robot only discarded a a Oilman and a Bokoichi and both drew 5 cards and then replied, "Cyber Dragon, direct attack!"
It began to glow and Piper quickly replied, "Not a damn chance I'm letting you strike me down, rust bucket! I activate my Amazoness Onslaught to Special Summon my other Amazoness Swords Woman!"
The trap appeared and the Swords Woman appeared and glowed (ATK: 1,500 - 2,000).
"At least with this damage, I'll still be far ahead of you, lady! Destroy your with your Evolution Burst!"
The machine let out another fiery energy and the Swords Woman was smashed into small white shards (UGG Director LP: 4750) and Piper smiled and replied, "You made a big mistake, metal brain! If my Amazoness did battle with my Onslaught on the field, your monster is banished!"
The dragon machine began to compleltly rust up before it exploded into particles of light.
"You will not defeat me! I'll set a couple of cards facedown and that'll call it a turn."
Piper drew a card and the Director quickly began to speak, "I activate my Banisher Trap Card!"
The trap appeared.
"if I banish a couple of machine monsters from my graveyard, one of your Spell or Traps are banished as well!"
As a Cyber Soldier of Darkworld and a Giga-Tech Wolf appeared and vanished into dust, the Onslaught card dissolved into dust.
"Time to do something different! I activate Polymerization to fuse my Amazoness Tiger and Amazoness Spy Together!"
As the tiger and amazon appeared and merged together, a large beautiful tiger and lion combo of a beast appeared with a loud growling noise (ATK: 2,500).
"Meet the mighty Amazoness Pet Liger!"
Mike nodded and replied, "Nice monster she just summoned there."
"I I'll discard a card to activate my Twin Twisters!"
As she took a card and discarded it, two bursts of air shot out and and the Clockwork Night and the facedown Rare Metalmorph cards were blown to shards (ATK: 2,100 - 1,600).
"Lets do this! Destroy his Drillago and when it attacks, it gains 500 attack!"
The mighty beast charged it and it let out a loud snarl (ATK: 2,500 - 3,000) before it went and slashed at the dark machine and sparks flew from the center of it before it exploded into shards of hot metal (UGG Director LP: 3350).
"Gotcha there, bolty! I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
A new card appeared and it resumed, "I'll defeat you my way, lady! I bring forth the mighty KC-1 Clayton on the field!"
As it played a card, a large tank with the KC Logo on it appeared and with its main cannon aiming at Piper (ATK: 1,500) and Piper then repleid, "I always thought vehicles were banned from being brought into buildings and areas like this."
"You humans always have poor excuse for humor! I now activate my Tank Corps!"
The trap appeared and three smaller tanks appeared (DEF: 500 x3) and then the tank's cannon began to glow with even more energy (ATK: 1,500 - 3,000).
"Time to attack! KC-1 Clayton, attack!"
The tank fired a huge burst of energy and it shot out like a loud booming noise and it the attacked and the huge Beast was blasted to shards as the energy blast exploded around it (Piper LP: 3000).
"No human will best me in duel monsters! Make your move."
Piper drew a card and replied, "I activate my facedown Call of the Haunted to bring back a monster I discarded with Twisters and it's a card I just added from my SIde Deck!"
As her trap card lifed up, a small green-skinned goblin holding a bug catching net appeared (ATK: 0).
"This is my Token Collector and for each Token you have when he's Special Summoned, they are destroyed and my guy gains 400 attack!"
The eyes of the goblin boy glowed as they all blew into small pieces of metal and (ATK: 0 - 1,200) and she played a card and her other Paladin appeared (ATK: 1,700 - 1,800).
"Lets do it. Paladin, attack!"
She went in and slashed at the mighty machine and smoke poured of its sparking engine before the war machine exploded into flaming pile of hot metal.
"Collector, direct attack!"
The young goblin went in and slashed at the director with his net (UGG Director LP: 1850) and then the eyes turned dark red and it began to speak, "How dare you strike me down, human! You and your monsters will pay for doing this!"
"Try me, metal head. Your turn now."
It drew a card and began to speak, "I activate Silent Doom!"
The spell appeared and the Bokoichi appeared (DEF: 500).
"Next, I activate my Machine Duplication to get two more from my deck!"
The 2nd spell appeared and two more of the small train cards appeared (DEF: 500 x2).
"I use the other effect of my Clockwork Night and I'll banish it and discard a card to get any Earth Machine monster from my deck!"
As he took the card and took another card (Which was a 2nd Heart of the Underdog) and discarded it and a new card appeared in front of it and it resumed, "I'll tribute two of my machines to Summon my Perfect Machine King!"
As two of the small train cars vanished into particles of light, the mighty machine lord appeared (ATK: 2,700 - 3,200) and Mike groaned and replied, "This will hurt!"
"Time to battle! Wipe out that goblin with your Mega Missile Barrage!"
The hatches around the machine glowed as a huge burst of missiles shot out and exploded around her field, incinerating the young goblin and its charred, bug net shattered to dust as it hit the ground (Piper LP: 1000).
"Next turn you are finished! I'll set a card and make your final move, human!"
PIper drew a card and replied, "I won't lose to you! I'll tribute my Paladin for the highness herself, Amazoness Queen!"
As the Paladin nodded and vanished, the mighty and power queen of the Amazons appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Time for my last chance of doing something good! I activate my Fusion Recovery to get my Spy and Polymerization back to my hand!"
She did so and then resumed, "I now play Polymerization to fuse my Queen with the Spy in my hand to summon my best Fusion monster right now!"
As the spell appeared, Spy appeared and as she merged with the queen, the mighty leader of the Amazoness tribe appeared (ATK: 2,900).
"Meet the mighty and awesome Amazoness Empress!"
Nate saw her monster and replied, "What a warrior she has there."
"I now play my final Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and the facedown Mirror Force lifted and blew into small white shards and the director began to speak, "Doesn't really matter right now! My King is stronger then your best monster and during my next turn, I'll wipe her out!"
Piper smiled and replied, "Not going to be a next turn for you, bolty. With Empress on the field, my Amazons gain the ability to pierce battle damage! Empress, Take that little machine out with the rest of that things lifepoints!"
It went and swung his sword, cutting the small train car in half. The two pieces glowed and then shattered to bits and and a burst of energy shot out from her sword and slammed into the machine (UGG Director LP: 0) and Mike smiled and replied, "What a duel."
"NOT A CHANCE I CAN'T LOSE! ACTIVATING SELF DESTRUCTION MODE X12!", the machine boomed out as It began to start to glow dark red and Piper then replied, "Damn, this is bad! We're all scewed!"
Suddenly, the red glowing stopped and then it suddenly collapsed to the ground with a series of clatters and then Mike replied, "What just happened?"
The back door opened up and a raider walked through and the gang saw him and Pipe replied, "Who the hell are you?"
He sighed and replied,"I'm Arnold and I'm upset you defeated my robot servant."
"Boo hoo, guy! We found a dead raider outside of the area before we got here!"
The raider then replied, "Jack was always getting my way of things and I had to take him out some how. He tried to takeover this area after I reinstalled a new program into the robot. I forced him out and he paid the price with his life."
Nate then replied, "You killed off your friend and captured those poor people and threatened us with your damn robot. You are a dead man."
The raider sighed and replied, "I don't need this right now. If I give you full access of this place and allow you to get your friends out, will you leave me alone?"
The gang nodded and then he took a small white key card and handed it to Nate and he replied, "This will allow you anywhere in the galleria and there is even a private train area that'll lead you back to the basement area of Mallvilla. Those people are locked in that area I'm so done with this place. Good luck to you all."
He quickly ran out as the back door leading out of the galleria opened up and as he left, it slammed shut into the ground and then Piper then replied, "Let's go find those people."
She nodded and Mike went into the broken duel disk and grabbed the deck the robot used and he opened the Extra Deck and there was no cards in it and he only sighed as he took the deck and slid it into his pocket and Nate saw him and replied, "I bet someone back in Mallvila would love to use that deck, buddy? You ready to go?"
He nodded as they followed Piper through the Galleria.

gains 500 ATK for each "Tank Token" you control.
Tank Corps / Normal Trap Card
Activate only while "KC-1 Crayton" is on the field. Special Summon 3 "Tank Tokens" (Machine/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 500/DEF 1200) in Defense Position. They cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon.
Note: Both were used by Alister in the Yugioh episode "Flight of Fear (Part 1)".
High-Tech Claw / Equip Spell Card

Equip only to a Level/Rank 5 or higher Machine monster you control. When the equipped monster declares a attack on a monster, Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls. Destroy this card during your 3rd End Phase after activation.
Change Around / Normal Spell Card
Target 1 monster your opponent controls; return it to their hand and then Special Summon a monster from their GY with the same level, Attribute and type as that monster to their side of the field. You can only activate 1 "Change Around" per turn.
High Tech Banisher / Normal Trap Card

Banish 2 Machine monsters from your GY and then target 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls, banish it. You can only activate 1 "HIgh Tech Banisher" per turn.

Piper gets a close win. In the next chapter, Nate talks about where he and his family were living and when he and he and the gang go to visit that vault, Nate must duel to open the vault and against a someone they wouldn't of expected at all.
