This is a parody of the song Mountain Town from the South Park movie. It's about the town I live in, Evanston. Evanston is a town just north of Chicagothat's as close tothe cityas you can get without actually being in it. It is very different from the rich suburbs on the North Shore like Winnetka and Kenilworth. Evanston is home to Northwestern University (or NU) and is mostly Democrat. I love it, even though it sounds icky in the song. ;)
There's a lot of smog in the sky
And some stray cats just went running by

The sun is shining and the sky is blue
(Although the haze is hard to see through)
