It was September 11th. Lexie decided to go to the memorial and museum dedicated to the victims of that day. She'd been there for about an hour. She felt someone tap her on the shoulder and turned around. When she did she saw Stuart.

"Hi." She said surprised to see him there.

"Hi." "Are you here alone?"

"Yes." "I've been curious about this since I moved here." "I was only a teenager when it happened." "Have you been here before?"

"I try to come yearly."

They were walking around together talking. They got to the part of the memorial where all the victims names were listed. Lexie noticed Stuart looked sad where he was looking. She looked and saw the name Doug Scola. She looked at him.

"I'm so sorry." She said sympathetically.

"Thank you." "He was my brother."

"Why didn't you- She stopped. "Never mind it's none of my business." "You've just told me so many other things, I'm surprised."

"It wasn't because I didn't want to tell you." "I didn't tell you because you seem like you're going through your own issues." "I figured you didn't want mine piling on top of them." "I don't know what you're going through but, I know what it's like to lose someone."

"I do have my own issues, but that doesn't mean I won't listen if you need to talk."

"Thanks."

"I mean it."

"I know."

They were walking out together.

"Wanna go to lunch?" Stuart asked.

"Yeah."

They were sitting at a table and had just ordered their food.

"Do you want to know?" Lexie asked.

"About what?"

"About what happened to me?"

"If you want to tell me."

"This is hard for me to talk about."

"You don't have to."

"It's ok." I- They both got a text at the same time. They had a case and were needed in the office right away. "So much for lunch."

"Rain check?"

"Sure." She went to get money out of her purse.

"I got it."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." He paid and they left.
