Lexie had just arrived at work. She got on the elevator. Stuart got on right after her.

"Morning." He said.

"Morning." "After doing some thinking, I've decided to give the doctor you recommended a try."

"I hope she helps you."

"So do I but I'm skeptical." "My first session is tomorrow."

They got off on their floor.

"Scola, Isobel wants to see you." Jubal said.

Stuart was in Isobel's office for twenty minutes. He came back out and sat at his desk.

"What's up?" Lexie asked.

"I'm going to California to help with a case." "They want me to go undercover as a stockbroker, since they know I have experience in that area, they requested me specifically." "I'll be working with your friend Kristen."

"You'll like working with her." "When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow."

"For how long?"

"A week or so."

The next afternoon Lexie walked into her doctor's office for her first session.

"It's nice to meet you Lexie." The doctor said.

"It's nice to meet you to Dr. Price."

"How are you?"

"I'm trying to keep an open mind but so far no doctor has been able to help me."

"How many doctors have you been to?"

"Two."

"Why are you here?"

"I want help." "I want it to work this time, so I can maybe have a life."

"Where would you like to start?"

Later that night Lexie was at home. Her phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi." Stuart said.

"Hi." "How is the case going?"

"Good." "How was your first session?"

"She's nice, but I don't know about it." "I'll try my best." "I hope to works this time."

Four days later Lexie was in another session.

"We've talked about Emmett Cruise." Dr. Price said. "Let's talk about your job."

"I love it." "It's my only joy in life."

"Does what happened to you ever come into your professional life?"

"In cases involving children, yes." "Everyone we catch becomes him." "That's all I can see." "That's when I have my worst days."

"Why did you decide to become an FBI agent?"

"I wanted to help people."

"How has what happened affected your personal relationships?"

"I really haven't had any, just two." "I'm even afraid to like someone because I don't want to bring them into this."

"Anyone in particular?"

"My partner in the bureau." "I've had male partners before and have never been attracted to them." "I don't want to mix professional and personal."

"Do you think he has feelings for you?"

"I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think so."

Later that night in California Kristen and Stuart were on stake out. She saw him check his phone.

"Seeing if Lexie text you?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"Do you like her?"

"Yes." "I don't want to push her." "I know relationships are difficult for her."

"I know she likes you." "She wouldn't have told you about what happened to her if she didn't."

"I wish I could help her."

"You being there helps more then you think." A car pulled up. "That's the car."

Four days later Lexie was shopping. She got a text. It read.

We got him. I'll be back tomorrow. – Stuart
