So this is my first fanfiction and I don't expect you all to fall head over heels for it because I'll be honset it's a little rusty but bare with me. I wanted people to have a different perspective on Katherine. I want people to look at her life differently then what was shown in the show. I am changing the narrative of Katherine's plight and origin

9. Chapter 9

Chapter 9 The Run Continues, Before katherine made her way to america she and her children made their way to her childhood home she saw her father impaled to the wall by sword. And her mother and sister both dead on and on the floor next to the bed. Katherine gasped she was shocked her children were horrified by what they were seeing. "Mama what happened here" Anton said in a child whiny way. She could not answer she was just completely overwhelmed. Then she looked at her and mother and began to cry over her body. "No no mama no" katherine said as cried loud into her dead mother's chest. Just then Anton and nadia huddled together and cried on the floor.

As katherine composed herself she looked around and then saw her children sobbing together on the floor. She saw this then said, in maternal way. "It's OK my loves", as katherine said this she wrapped her arms around her children and snuggled them to her and rocked them back and forth. "It's OK my sweet darlings I love you both so much" she said as she kissed the top of both of their heads. "Mama won't let the bad man harm her or you I promise" she said she cried over her children. Anton and nadia were scared and confused.

"Okay come along children we must keep moving" katherine said, as as she smiled. So she stood up and picked up her children and sped away from her parents house. She made her way to the bulgarian shore and got on a boat with her and her children and. They sailed away to the newly discovered America once there she lived in many nice villages raising her children the best she could. Years went by and she was thriving and so was her children. In villages here and there watching them grow bigger and bigger.

Katherine was making breakfast for her children one morning, and as she placed the food on the table the children began eating. Katherine just called not help but to watch them in awe. Then she took a a cloth and wiped the of nadia's mouth. Just then there was a knock at the door. So katherine stood up and walked towards it and opened it.

"Yes can I help you" katherine said, with curiosity. "Katerina Petrova" the man said, with a suspicious tone. "Yes can I help you katherine reaped."Klaus sends his regards the man says wickedly. Katherine looks horrified but in a moment she thought and she slammed the door with her vampire strength." Come children we have to run" katherine said, as she lead her children out the back way of the cottage and she grabbed her children and whoosed away from klaus's minion.

Once again katherine and her children are on the run will they ever be free from klaus no one may ever know.
