WHEN THE EARTH GOES NUMB...
Disclaimers
Xena and Gabrielle belong to Renaissence Pictures/MCA Universal. I'm taking them for while, but is just for fun. I'm not making money with this. This fanfic DOES NOT have sex or violence, but I think is because it's just too short for that.
It was criated on November 14, 2000.
Suggestions and criticisms are alowed and I'd really appreciate it.
The warrior woke up, yawned and looked around her: There was nobody. She stood up and went down the stairs of the inn to take her breakfast. There was only silence and not a single person down there too.
Xena left the place to take a walk and there wasn't anyone along the way. She came in on another inn but it was empty. Looked inside the houses and didn't find anybody. Everything was absolutly deserted, unhabited.
"I'm on my own in the whole world?" - She asked herself, annoyed.
She passed by a lake but realized it stopped running. The wind stopped blowing. There was a horrible silence. And also was cold because the sun stopped shinning, it was colourless. Every litte thing was colourless and lifeless.
A huge darkness came into the morning and pulled the warrior into it. Xena didn't know what to do or what to think. So she just sat down and started crying, crying very hard.
"Xena?!" - This was a known voice and Xena stood up, surprised. - "It's me, Xena!"
"Gabrielle?! You're back?"
"I am, Xena. I'm back 'cause I know this is my place, my home, is where I belong: by your side. And I'm back to say I'm sorry for being childish and selfish, giving everything up and leaving you behind. Can you forgive me? I just..." - She was stopped short by the warrior's long fingers.
Xena smiled amd looked around, surprised at first and then happy:
"Hey! Look at this! It's back! Everything! The colours, the people..."
"What do you mean 'It's back'?" - Gabrielle asked, not really understanding.
"Ah, Gabrielle! You don't want to know. Loneliness is such a terrible place..."
