Lexington soon came to on the rooftop he had been left on. He sat up and rubbed his head, groaning. "What's going on?" he asked himself. He looked around and saw he was just on a rooftop but didn't see Brooklyn anywhere.

"Brooklyn?" Lex asked but heard nothing. He knew his brother wouldn't leave him alone unconscious. He looked on the ground and there were two darts left behind. It meant that Brooklyn had been darted too, but where was he? This was trouble. Someone had obviously kidnapped him!

Lex pulled out his headphone and he called in to Goliath. "Goliath, it's Lex."

"Yes, Lexington?"

"I just woke up from having been shot with a tranquilizer dart. Brooklyn was hit too."

"Are you both alright?" Goliath asked.

"I am, but Brooklyn is not anywhere in sight." Lex stated.

This alarmed Goliath. "Where are you?"

"On a roof near Central Park."

"We will meet you there." Goliath said.

They would soon join up and examine the area. They would also need Bronx to see if he could pick up a trail. It was getting too close to sunrise. They had to head home for the day.

…..

Brooklyn soon woke up and tried to rub his head but found he couldn't. His hands were tied in chains above his head. He found he was standing up. His arms felt like they were outstretched. He tried to get loose.

"Ugh! Where am I?" he asked himself. He had been in cuffs before but never quite like this. The chains rattled as he tried to free himself. He could feel that his inner biological clock said it was getting close to sunrise. He had to get out of here.

The men saw that he was awake finally. "Always wear your masks when around him. I don't want him identifying us."

The men nodded in return.

Brooklyn hoped it wasn't Demona or Thailog that had kidnapped him. What reason would they have to do so? A shiver went down his spine of why he was in this predicament at all.

"Whoever you are, show yourself!" Brooklyn hollered angrily. "Let me go!" He squirmed.

"I don't think so, Monster." A male voice answered him. A door had opened.

Brooklyn looked to his right. He held still to see his captor. He didn't recognize him. How could he when he had a mask on anyway? "Who are you?" he demanded.

"That is of no importance to you, Monster." Lyle growled at him. He had a crowbar in his hands.

Brooklyn eyed the bar. He swallowed but didn't show his fear. "What do you want? Where's my brother?" He demanded to know.

"You only need to worry about yourself. He's not here. You're the one I wanted."

Brooklyn could feel a little relief that Lex was free and could rejoin the clan. They would find him. But why did this man take him?

"Okay. What do you want with me?"

"Revenge, of course!" Lyle snarled at him.

Brooklyn flinched at that and pulled back into the wall. "What did I do to you?" he asked.

"You ruined my life! And now, you're going to pay for it, dearly!" Lyle stepped toward the bound gargoyle. "Oh, don't worry. Your time here is short. But here's a summary of what I plan for you tomorrow night." Lyle smirked under his mask.

Lyle raised the bar, and he took aim. He jabbed the crowbar hard with everything he had into Brooklyn's stomach.

"OH!" Brooklyn cried out in pain. His belly immediately erupted in nausea. He began breathing hard to catch his breath. He panted through his mouth.

"Because it's so close to dawn, Monster, I won't go any further than that, but that's just a basic look of what lies in store for you tomorrow. It'll get better." Lyle said evilly.

Brook panted more but weakly said, "No, don't… oh…" He wanted to put his hands over his aching belly but couldn't. "What are… you going… to do… with me?" he asked.

"You'll find out tomorrow night, Monster." Lyle exclaimed.

The red male found that his stomach must have been a target by the man who had kidnapped him. He had to get out of here. He tried to get loose again but that only aggravated his nausea. He panted more.

"Oh, got a bellyache?" Lyle taunted him. "There's plenty more where that comes from."

"What did I do… to you?" Brooklyn's voice was clearing more.

"You won't see my face, Monster, but let's say that you did some damage to me and my friends. Now you are going to pay the price!" Lyle declared.

"I don't harm anyone… unless they are deserving of it… if they are harming innocent people." Brooklyn explained. He was getting tired of being called Monster. "Stop calling me Monster."

"That's what you are."

"I'm a gargoyle, not a monster!"

"Your kind are monsters!"

Brooklyn glared angrily at the man. He could still feel the nausea but was ignoring it for the moment.

"Have fun hanging there for the rest of the night, Monster!" Lyle left laughing.

Brooklyn didn't have much time left. He struggled despite his painful belly. The man had said there was more to come tomorrow night. Likely, there could be more stomach torture. He had to get out of here.

But there wasn't enough time when his stone formation took hold of him. It was in times like this that he hated it when his stone sleep hit him. It made him too vulnerable to enemies.

Lyle and his men saw that Brooklyn was stone.

"Are we going to shatter him?" Skit asked.

"No. I'd much rather have him tortured to death for what he did to me. While he's alive." Lyle glared. "While he's stone, we next need to transfer him on his back onto the table before sunset tonight."

Later in the day, a special lifter was used to get Brooklyn onto the table where his limbs were once again cuffed down. He was on his back. They would be out there at sunset to make sure the cuffs were tightened accordingly as he woke up.

Lyle didn't care about the gargoyle's name. He would just call him Monster. He would love to irk the creature. He really wanted to punish him good. He had an eye on the gargoyle's belly. It was a good spot on his body to be punished. But of course, there were other spots too that looked good to punish as well. But in the end, he wanted the gargoyle gutted like a fish. There was curiosity about what gargoyle internal organs looked like too.

Lyle later whispered what his plan was for the gargoyle. They smiled evilly. It sounded fun to them.
