So I don't normally respond to review's here but I am making an exception. I wanted to thank the Guest reviews that are coming in recently they have been really positive. They also made me realise I needed to add something to this chapter I missed. This chapter is a little shorter so I may give you another soon If you like it.

It had been four weeks and nearly half of the summer had gone by. Rose was getting incredibly annoyed that Harry was not responding to his mail. She had gone so far as to owl Hermione to ask her if she was receiving replies. She was almost glad to hear she was not the only one getting the silent treatment.

It was late one evening when Rose got a floo call from Marlene. They had been calling and speaking at least once a week, though Capella floo'd near every day. It was during one of these calls that Rose confessed to Marlene that she was getting worried about Harry she told her that he was not replying to owl letters and that Timbur always seemed distressed when he came back from Harry's home.

After Promising to check on Harry, Marlene left and Capella came into view. Capella had become increasingly invested in potions. Though she would not tell her mom she wanted to look into making prank items so she could follow in her fathers footsteps at Hogwarts.

Rose didn't hear from Marlene again for four days and when Marlene next floo'd she actually asked to come through instead of just calling. Rose didn't mind this though she did think it was a little strange.

When Marlene came out of the grate she was clearly mad about something. I just went to check on Harry and those despicable muggles have him trapped in his room with bars on the windows. I took some pictures and sent them to Loretta. Hopefully they will light a fire under the Wizengamot and get Harry out of there.

You should take a look at his clothes. They are all way too big. Harry told me that he has to wear hand-me-downs from his fat pig cousin. When we went to Diagon Alley at the start of summer he said he didn't want the Dursleys to know he had money so they didn't take it. They sound foul.

Marlene was clearly becoming more angry at the situation and Rose was rather enjoying seeing the anger.

It was at that moment Kingsley floo'd home, If he was surprised to see Marlene he did not mention it.
"Harry just got a warning for using a levitation charm in front of muggles." He announced to the occupants of the room.

"I'm going to speak to him." Marlene announced and disapparated from the room.

"Never a dull moment when Aunt Marlene is around right?" Rose asked Kingsley, unable to hide the laughter in her voice.

Kingsley looked like he wanted to disagree but It was clear to him why Sirius had fallen for this one.

It was unusual for Rose to sleep past ten but today it was closer to eleven and Rose was still not up. So when an angry looking Albus Dumbledore woke her up she was admittedly very confused.

"Miss Rose, I need you to wake up. You have been summoned before an emergency meeting of the Wizengamot."

This did not help Rose understand what was going on but she stood up and grabbed a formal robe from her wardrobe. Dumbledore, seeing that she was going to dress politely, exited the room.

It did not take Rose long to exit the room dressed in formal robes, her Potter crested necklace on full display. Dumbledore looked like he wanted to argue but what the meeting was concerning meant that there was really no point.

After allowing Rose to grab a banana and a quick drink Dumbledore apparated Rose into a dark courtroom that was full of people. The appearance of the headmaster and a young girl left the room speechless. Many were looking between Harry who was seated before the court and Rose who had just entered. Loud whispering soon took over the hall and it took Mr Fudge a long time to call the court to order.

The court fell quiet for a short moment until Fudge asked Rose to stand beside Harry and once more people began whispering. Once more Fudge demanded silence and started to tell Rose why she had been summoned to court.

A long session followed in which several questions were asked about the separation of the Potter children and the upkeep of Harry since he had been with the Dursleys. Harry told as little as possible not wanting the wizarding world to know what he had been through.

After a few hours of back and forth Albus Dumbledore was fined a hefty sum for endangering Harry by leaving him with the Dursleys and was charged with ignoring a will. He had managed to get off without jail time or any real reprimand claiming it was all done with the best interest of the Potters.

The session was halted for lunch and during that time Harry and Rose ate with Marlene who had been in the courtroom as a witness to the treatment Harry had received. During lunch Marlene informed the Potters that next would be a decision on their care. She wasn't too worried since she was named in the will.

The next session seemed to incite a riot. Everyone seemed to believe that they had a right to look after the Potters stating that the fourth request in the will was a magical family care for them.

Marlene was looking murderous after an hour of this squabbling passed. Her hair was literally billowing as she tried to temper her anger.
"Enough of this madness." She called into the room. The shout had been so unexpected the room fell silent.

"You can clearly see that I am listed personally as the Guardians for my God children. They will be coming with me. This document has been certified by the goblin to be true so why are we arguing like children?"

The court room fell silent and everyone was looking at Fudge and Dumbledore. It was at this time Augusta spoke up.
"Mrs Black is indeed correct. Guardianship is stated as hers in the will."

A few of the Families that supported this claim spoke their agreement and a few others that wanted to get on the Potters and Black good side agreed too. Dumbledore who could see that if he didn't stop this, would lose his hold on the Potters spoke up. He declared that they would not be safe if they were not at the Dursleys however saying this pretty much killed his defence and finally after nearly a full day in court Harry and Rose were to go home with Marlene.

Harry, Rose and Marlene left as soon as the sentence was passed knowing that they would need to leave to avoid the reporters. They went first to the Dursleys and Marlene took great pleasure in scaring the Dursleys while Harry and Rose collected Harry's things, except the clothes which Rose demanded he leave behind.

After collecting Harry's things Rose felt a little guilty collecting hers. She had been given much by Kingsley over the years. Once everything was packed up Rose made a point of telling Kingsley she still wanted him around and he had to visit. She also tools him to get an extra two tickets if possible so that Harry and Capella can go to the Tornado games. After promising to try, Rose left Kingsley Home for her new home.

Not a moment after they arrive Harry was forced to hug a dark haired girl or risk falling over because she had thrown herself at him. This made Rose laugh and Marlene sigh a little, not that she tried to help.

Harry was so confused that it took him a moment to pull the girl away from him and look at her. She was the spitting image of her mother with green eyes and dark black hair that was straight and held back by a light blue headband.

"Capella I assume" Harry asked looking at Rose for the answer.

Rose managed to stop laughing long enough to nod her head and tap Capella on the shoulder. Capella turned round and gave Rose an innocent look.
"Yes Rose?"

"Where is my hug? You gremlin"
Marlene burst out laughing at this causing Capella to pout, she did however hug Rose too but not as intensely.

"Instead of assaulting Harry and Rose, how about you show them to their rooms?"

Marlene asked in a way that left no room for discussion.

"Okay Mommy" Capella replied and grabbed Harry and Rose's hands dragging them into the hall and up the stairs.

The rooms that Harry and Rose had been given were located at the end of the hallway on the second floor and sat opposite each other. Capella made sure to point out the rooms were their house colours so they would never forget whose was whose.

It was then that Marlene came up the stairs levitating all of her godchildren belongings. After dumping the children's belongings in their rooms Marlene looked at the Potters.

"Do we need to talk about your spending habits? Why do you both have two good racing brooms? Are the 2001 models even released yet?"

"Oh, the 2001's were given to us by Nimbus. A little gift for having stocks in their company. Harry also got the 2000 for free." Rose replied happily, grabbing her 2001 and showing it off.

"Mom, don't we have stock in Nimbus too? Where is my broom?" Capella asked, looking at the brooms a little enviously.

"You don't really need a new broom. First years can't have one at school, remember."

"Unless you're Harry," Rose added, making Harry look away and Marlene look at rose.

"Apparently so." Marlene added, looking at an embarrassed Harry. Upon seeing Harry's clothes Marlene looked a little angry.

"Right you need new clothes I forgot. I think a shopping trip is needed." This made Harry groan and look at his shoes.

"You really do need clothes that fit Harry. Oh and you need to reply to Ron and Hermione. They are pretty worried."

Harry took a moment to tell the rest of the people gathered about Dobby. Upon hearing about what happened Rose told Harry to submit his memories and get the record cleared, to which Harry looked at her confused.

"I will get King to explain it later. Capella looks like she will kill me if i delay this shopping trip any longer" Capella smiled sweetly and put on an innocent face which made Harry laugh.

"You're fooling no one, Capella." He added.

What followed was an intensive two hour shopping trip with Capella and Marlene playing dress up with Harry while Rose sat by watching and laughing at Harry's current situation. By the time that the group got home Harry and Rose's belongings had been sorted and their rooms had fresh linens. This confused Harry quite a bit but Rose however turned to Marlene.
"Oh you have a house elf?"

"Oh yes we do Duggy please introduce yourself" Marlene called out into the empty room, seconds later an elf appeared and bowed low.

"I is being Duggy if you's is needing anything please call me" With that said the elf left the room.

"He seems relatively normal compared to Dobby" Harry commented looking at the empty space the Elf left from.

Harry then seemed to remember the seemingly excessive amount of clothes he was carrying and excused himself to put them away. Marlene had insisted on getting Rose some nice new clothes too followed Harry's lead putting hers away too.

By the time Harry returned downstairs he was being ushered into the dining room by the house elf Duggy.

"You is needing feeding young Master please sit and eat"

Harry was unsure how to respond to the elf and sat down in between Rose and Capella. As soon as he sat down his plate was filled with food. Harry looked at the plates of those around him and saw them stacked just as full.

Rose seemed to see Harry's looks and smiled at him.
"Eat up. You need to put on some weight."

Getting used to living with Marlene and Capella was difficult for Harry. He had grown up in a bad environment so long he kept expecting to get ordered to do something. Rose was also finding it a little hard to adjust, but that was due to spending so much time alone while Kingsley worked, now had others around all the time.

Harry had made a point to send letters to his friends who were glad to hear from him. With easy access to the floo network Harry had decided to spend a week at Rons. deciding that it would be fun to have a sleepover too Rose went to stay with Daphne who was more than happy to host her.

If getting used to life with Marlene was hard for Rose, spending a week with the Greengrass's was bizarre. The way that their family dynamic switched when there were guests in the house and alone in their home felt a little unnerving. They did seem like a great family beside the persona that they played in public.

During the Holiday Rose spent a lot of time with not only Daphne but also Astoria who seemed to really love spending time with her sister and now Rose too.

When the holiday was over and it was time to go back to school, nerves were high. Marlene had warned the Potters that reporters would no doubt be on the platform and that a lot of families would want to speak to them now they are back in the wizarding world.

This statement was proved to be true when the small group entered kings cross and before they even reached the wizarding side were accosted by reporters demanding statements and pictures. Marlene it seemed was an expert at breaking through people and after a short time they were on platform 9 and three quarters.

Rose and Harry both felt glad that they had been forewarned because the second they appeared on the platform people were coming over to say hello, most neither Harry or Rose knew.

Getting onto the platform had been pretty difficult. The barriers between the muggle and Wizarding world had decided to seal itself early. Before this could cause panic Marlene apparated away. When she returned Kingsley and another Auror were with her. They managed to fix the barrier but could offer no explanation for the event.

A bang from Marlene's wand had most people shocked enough to back off. Others that recognised Marlene were now demanding statements off of her too. Another band of her wand and Marlene had the three kids on the train and was guarding the door.

Capella was looking nervously around the compartment and Rose felt a little happier knowing that even she gets nervous about things.
"I don't know what house I want to be in"

She offered to the compartment when she realised Rose was looking at her.

"It won't matter what house you are in, we will still be friends with you. Me and Harry made it work last year."

It was about a half hour before the train was due to leave when Hermione arrived in the compartment. She smiled happily at Harry and sat next to him before looking at Rose and Capella, a little hesitant she greeted them both too.

"This is Capella, she is our god mother's daughter." Rose informed Hermione once greetings had been offered.

"Oh she is the daughter of the serial killer right?" Hermione insensitively mentioned this, causing Rose to scowl at Her and Harry to start scolding her.

"I will have you know my father is innocent and will soon be getting a trial for his alleged crimes thank you very much." She then turned to Rose. "If she is in Gryffindor maybe I will be in Slytherin like you."

Realising that she had just upset everyone in the compartment with her statement Hermione hid inside of her 2nd year textbooks.

"Your friend Ronald is going to miss the train at this rate" Rose commented as the time of departure got closer, she did not try to hide the mirth in the statement.

"He will make it.. I think" Harry replied looking out of the window for the clan of redheads. Five minutes till departure and the Weasley clan arrived at the station.

After quick goodbyes Ron appeared in the compartment with his sister following him in. One look at Harry made Ginny bolt from the compartment claiming she was going to find her friend.

Ron Happily greeted everyone in the compartment except Rose, which annoyed Capella greatly.

"I thought Gryffindors were supposed to be good but these two suck"

This statement made Rose laugh and Hermione sink into her seat a little more. Ron's ears went bright red, a sign that he was embarrassed or angry. Capella just seemed to enjoy the reactions before sitting closer to Rose.

"You're going to have to protect me. I may actually curse them if they keep acting like biased idiots."

"Come join me in Slytherin I will enlist you into my group of non prejudice idiots" Rose commented jokingly not realising how appealing the statement sounded to Capella.
