Paint It, Black: The Story of Beatrix Elfman

Summery: The wizrding world had labeled her a murderer at the age of thirteen. The ministry had without hesitation sent her to Azkaban. Shocked to find a thirteen year old could murder three aurors. All in one night......without magic. Now she has been released...and is attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizidry.......

Three years.....

She had not seen the light of day

Three years.....

She had not breathed air

Three years.....

She had not closed her eyes

Three years.....

She had not dare slept

Three years.....

She kept sane

Three years.....

She was innocent

Three years......

She was in Azkaban.

Three years.....Seems like an eternity.....

Quiet and alone....

This was Beatrix Elfman's life. Her appearance seemed that of a woman in her twenties. Not a sixteen year old girl. Her emerald green eyes, were as always open, as she sat in the corner of her cell. The hard and cold floor did not bother her anymore. She paid no attention to emotion. She lost it at the age of thirteen.

You lose many things when you are a prisoner in Azkaban.....

Her name famous in the wizrding world as the youngest prisoner of Azkaban and the youngest sent there. After a while though, everyone had forgotten about her, for a fellow prisoner by the name of Sirius Black had escaped and covered the newspaper with his whereabouts. She had spoken to him for a while as he told her about a young wizard named Harry Potter and how they are connected.

Beatrix had only spoken to him, unlike the others, Sirius to had kept himself sane. His one word of advice he had given her was to remember our innocence. She did, and was now known as the only sane prisoner there. These past few weeks had been hectic for the prison. Many deatheaters were being locked up. Voldemort had returned and was powerful. Beatrix could care less about this Voldemort character. She wasn't part of this world, just her parents, but they were dead and gone.

Found guilty of killing three aurors, the ministry took no time to imedietly throw her in prison. What made her case so interesting to the ministry is she had not used magic to kill them. No wand was found on her. They were not murdered by a spell. Something else.....

Something.......Muggle.

She had scared them. Threatened them with the thought a simple muggle girl had stumbled upon their world. The ministry couldn't let out to the known public that the murder weapon was indeed not a wand. Instead, they made up a story. A fib if you will. They made her a deal. She was to stay in Azkaban for three years, and they would release her as long as she never spoke the truth, and was now to be a witch.

She agreed. It was now there turn to fulfil their side of the deal. It was her time to leave.

The door to her cell opened. She looked up and saw her breath as a cold draft swept through her body. An older mad walked in wearing robes. Beatrix squinted her eyes in an effort to get a better look at the stranger. He walked closer and Beatrix stood up using the wall as support, she leaned against it. He raised his hand and whispered..

" Lumos."

His face had appeared, with a long grey beard.. The tip of his wand was lit, as Beatrix shielded her eyes from the bright light.

" Terribly sorry about the bright light. It is good to see you are still sane Ms. Elfman. It is time for you to leave."

A/N: Sorry if its short. I just dont know if its good so far or not. Reviews are always welcomed! Thanks for reading....
