I do not Harry Potter only the OC
Hello guys, Badger here. After taking some time to work on this chapter, it's now ready. I'm not sure what it is, but I have been extremely tired the last few days, that trying to write this chapter was difficult. Maybe I'm doing too much work at once and I should start taking it easy, or maybe it's something else. I don't know, but I've started napping before my next lectures or seminars, so I don't end up passing out.
Anyway, that's not why you are here. You are here for the new chapter of Osiris Rising. To refresh my memory, I read the previous 6 chapters and spent a moment or two planning out the rough outline for this chapter and it's now done. Note: I was pretty tired writing this chapter, so I'm sorry if the ending isn't polished or rushed.
Chapter 7
Harry rolled his shoulder back and forth as he and James walked into the Slytherin Common Room. James had a small, sheepish smile on his face, as Harry's shoulder was still in pain from the previous night. He had been a little bit too ferocious in his spell use and had broken Harry's shoulder. Harry didn't blame James in anyway, but James still punished himself, making himself bleed. This was something he did, whenever he screwed up in anyway. Harry and Mother had tried to stop him from doing so, but he refused to listen. As the two entered the Common Room, they found an interesting sight. Theodore Nott stood in the centre of the room, looking worried as Harry walked in, whilst the rest of the students were standing quite a distance away from him. For Harry, the sight was quite amusing.
"This is an interesting sight" Harry drawled "So tell me, what's going on?"
"Nott was going off on one" Blaise spoke up, moving out from the crowd "He's not happy that you want us to associate with Half Bloods and Muggleborns"
"Is that so?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow, whilst James smirked his eyes practically shining with insanity, as if he knew what was going to happen
"You should have heard him" Pansy replied, as she and Arianna joined Blaise, standing away from the crowd "Went on a massive rant of how you're insane if you think Slytherin House will associate with 'such filth' and if Slytherin is to become noble again, and become the best House, then all filth should be removed from Hogwarts and only the purest of blood should be able to learn magic…he was very cocky and confident, which is funny, because as soon as you walk in he becomes nervous and cowardly…"
Nott's face went red in anger and opened his mouth to respond, but was cut off by Harry laughing. His laugh was quiet and soft, but there was something eery about it that filled Nott, and many others with dread. What didn't help was the cruel, wicked smile on James' face, as Harry slowly made his way down the steps, walking towards him. Every step he took was steady and prolonged, making Nott more and more nervous. Harry almost seemed to glide across the floor, with his slow movement. Nott tried taking a few steps back, but found himself being stuck in place by some unseen force. As Nott was facing away from them, he didn't notice the rest of Slytherin House taking a few steps back, as Harry stopped in front of Nott, the two mere inches away from one another. Harry said nothing, as he looked at Nott, an unreadable look on his face. Nott wanted to say something, but didn't as Harry tilted his head, his eyes moving around, as if he is staring into Notts soul, looking for something.
"You've not learnt anything have you?" Harry said after a few moments of unbearable silence "From what I've seen in lessons you're brighter then most…I thought you'd be smart enough to keep your mouth shut and do as you're told and learn to accept it…honestly I expected this kind of response to come from Draco…"
Harry took a moment and looked at Malfoy, who was standing in the crowd. Harry's eyes seemed to burn into Malfoys soul and the blond couldn't help but swallow nervously, not wanting to say anything, in case he enraged the emerald eyed demon.
"However, it seems he is able to learn…slowly, but surely…" Harry continued, before he looked back to Nott "You, however…it seems you need to learn the hard way"
Nott's blood turned cold, as James let out a laugh. One of pure insanity, that would chill the bones of anyone. Harry took out his wand and hit Nott with a body bind, causing the boy to fall to the ground, unable to move. A small smile made its way onto Harry's face as he stepped back, allowing James to step forward.
"He's all yours James" Harry said "Try not to go too overboard, just make sure he learns his lesson"
Nott began to panic, remembering the state Terrence Higgs was in after James had taken him away. He tried calling for help, but James silenced him, as he grabbed his collar and dragged him into his dorm room. No one dared to move.
"James won't actually kill him, will he?" Arianna asked, after a moment of silence
"James is insane, but he knows the limits" Harry replied "With that being said, I better monitor the situation, just to make sure he doesn't go over the limits…if we are going to be late for our next lesson, please give an excuse for our absence"
Harry didn't wait for an answer, as he left the main living area of the Common Room and entered the dorm room he and James shared. Thankfully the silencing charms were still up. James was already at work, placing Nott under various spells, delighted in Nott's screams. Nott had his top layer of clothing removed and already had bruises and cuts on his body. Neither were aware of Harry's presence yet. Harry casually sat down in a nearby chair and began flipping it up and down in the air, watching the torture with interest. Twirling his wand in hand, for a few seconds, James smiled as he thought of another spell. Muttering an incantation, Harry wasn't able to hear, James laughed as Nott began to scream, as small amounts of skin began to rip and tear away from his body, drawing blood. The spell was one of James' favourites. It won't kill, but it will cause intense pain. A pain similar to the Cruciatus curse. James closed his eyes, smiling, the screams were like music to his ears. Releasing Nott from the spell, he cleared away the blood, before leaning forward, so their faces were mere inches away. Notts eyes looked in James', afraid of the cold insanity that glared back at him. Nott was certain he saw James' eyes flash red for moment, before quickly turning back to his hazel-green.
"Usually I stop after using such a spell" He commented "but I look into your eyes and I can see you've still not learnt your lesson…but, I can't complain, gives me more excuses for torturing you even more…"
"You're insane" Nott said, tears falling down his face
"Thank you" James gave a toothy grin "But believe me, if you think I'm insane now, you should see what's going on inside my head..."
James paused, as he holstered his wand and pulled out a small, ornate dagger, hidden inside one of his pockets. Nott's eyes widened, as he saw the shining blade.
"However, that compliment won't get you out of this situation" James said, pressing the blade gently against Nott's torso, digging into his skin, drawing blood "If you are going to learn your lesson, then we're going to have to remove a part of your body…so let's get started…"
"No!" Harry spoke up, standing up from his seat
James jumped at Harry's voice, before turning round to face him, a surprised look on his face, before tapping a hand gently on his chest, breathing in and out for a moment, where he then glared at Harry.
"Make your presence known next time" James said "Almost gave me a heart attack"
"So dramatic" Harry rolled his eyes "Anyway, no removing body parts, save that for any of the older years…unless of course I say otherwise"
"Okay…" James muttered, disappointed, before throwing the dagger so it was embedded in the door, making Nott jump at the sound
Harry rolled his eyes once more, as James backed away and sat in the chair Harry just vacated, before he put the coin in his pocket and removed his wand. Nott flinched and closed his eyes, as Harry pointed it at him, however he opened his eyes to see that his wounds were being healed up. Besides on small scar on his right arm, his skin was left unblemished, like nothing had happened. Once his wounds were healed, his top layer of clothing reappeared. Nott relaxed, until Harry had leaned down, so their foreheads were practically touching. Harry's eyes were glowing with cold fury as he gripped the arms of the chair tightly.
"You better learn your lesson Nott" He said, in a dangerous tone "And soon…I have very little patience and you, along with many in Slytherin House are already on thin ice and believe me, should that ice break, I'll be waiting for you when it does…do you understand?"
The dark look in Harry's eyes made Nott nod, though it was difficult, as Harry's forehead was pressed against his. Harry's eyes narrowed for a few second, before he moved away, taking a few steps back.
"You got off lucky Nott" Harry said "Usually it is a lot worse…I suggest you take today into account and learn you lesson because next time…you'll wish you were dead…now, get out of my sight, before I change my mind"
Nott didn't waste any time and quickly ran out of the dorm room, much to James' amusement as he used his wand to carve a sketch into the dorm room ceiling, ignoring the glare Harry was giving him, for the chips of wood and plaster falling to the floor.

Dumbledore had his head in his hands, as he sat at his desk, papers scattered in front of him. After finding that the Dursleys no longer lived at Privet Drive, he spent a lot of time digging to find any information he could. After looking through multiple different papers, records and files, he was able to find the information he was looking for. From the police records and newspaper articles, Vernon and Petunia were found murdered in their home and Dudley was taken to an adoption agency. Looking at the dates on the files, this happened mere months after Harry was sent to Wool's Orphanage. Whether these cases was related, Dumbledore wasn't sure. Police had investigated the murder, but the case went cold years ago, as they were unable to find a single clue towards the murderer, making Dumbledore believe it would have to be someone magical. Only a witch or wizard would be able to hide there tracks in such a way.
Many Death Eaters had been able to avoid being sent to prison, so it was more then possible that one of them had found out where Harry had been sent. This was worrying, as they could possibly find out that Harry is currently living in Wools Orphanage. Dumbledore didn't want Harry living there, should such a thing happen. The boy was going to need a new home and a guardian to watch over him. Dumbledore would inform the Minister and hopefully a meeting will be set up to arrange such a thing.

At lunch, the call of multiple owls alerted the students and each one of them looked up, and caught any packages that were given to them. Harry smiled, seeing a familiar looking owl, swoop down and drop a rectangular package with a note attached. Removing the string, Harry removed the packaging, revealing a plain black book, making him smirk. Putting down the book, he opened up the note and read the contents.
Hello Harry,
Glad to hear things seem to be going well. It seems some people can learn to change. I admit, I'm not too sure about the Muggleborn, called Hermione Granger, but should you be able to make her join the cause, she will be a massive asset.
On a high note, I was able to find a spell book I told you about sometime ago. I had to dig deep in the library and spent quite a bit of time covering the book in charms to hide it from the Hogwarts wards. The owl wouldn't be able to make it through without them. Hopefully the spells will come in handy for you and the others.
Love you always,
Mother
"What's the book for?" Pansy asked, as she spread some jam on her slice of toast
"A spell book" Harry replied "Mother sent it so I can teach you a few things"
"Really?" Arianna perked up, before speaking in a hushed tone "Will…will the dark arts be involved?"
"Partly, there are all sorts of spells in here, including dark ones" Harry replied "Though, those spells are probably for James"
"I definitely want to try out some of these spells" James smirked, reading through the contents "And I can think of someone to try them on"
James turned and smiled at Nott, who quickly looked away, shaking slightly as his skin turned pale.
"How come you're teaching us some spells?" Blaise asked
"A strong leader needs a strong inner circle" Harry replied, putting the book away "I'll teach you a few things and, next year I hope to train you all, in whatever magic I can…and I'm sure Mother wouldn't mind training you"
"I need to know" Pansy spoke up "Who is your mother?"
"That's for me to know and for you to find out" Harry replied "Besides, you'll meet her soon enough"
Harry couldn't help but smirk at the scowl on Pansy's face, but he was going to stand by what he said. Keeping her identity, a secret is the best thing to do at the moment. Should the wrong person overhear, word will spread all across Hogwarts within an hour. He wasn't going to let that happen.

And done, what did you guys think?
As I was writing this chapter, I made notes of a rough outline for the next few chapters, so expect the end of Philosophers stone soon. Now, in this chapter we have the reveal of what happened to the Dursleys. This was always the plan for the Dursleys, though I wasn't sure when it would be appropriate to include the reveal, so I added it hear.
Now, there are many characters in this story to choose from, but who do you think Harry would do when he receives word that Dumbledore is looking for a guardian to look after Harry. Will he retaliate or go along with it, to make Dumbledore think he is the child Dumbledore thinks he is? Leave your response in the review section.
Anyway, that is all for now, I need a nap desperately, so I'll end it here. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next time.
