A/N - As Wedding Day turns to night...

Railman - Yes, Ralph was elated and much props to Sly for keeping the news from Toby. As for the rest of your review... (Author puts his palms up and shrugs his shoulders). Only time will tell.

LouBe - Yes, Walter being able to think of them as son and wife was one thing we all wanted to see in the show, I think. Toby can't always know what's going on. And all Walter wanted to do was make the day perfect for his wife, so if she asked, how could he refuse.

Pearliegirl - Without doubt there would have been a Waige Wedding if the show continued, or even if it gave us a one time, two hour movie special. Walter dancing, pffft don't be ridic...

Margaret - I only wish we could have gotten a wedding and an adoption on the real show. Hope the cold is going away. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Part 24 Saturday July 4, 2018 Marryoke

As the night approached, hundreds of people made their way down to the beach to watch fireworks and then to join in on the celebration of Walter and Paige. The fireworks lasted for almost thirty minutes and at 9:30 the microphone was placed firmly in the hands of none other than Dr. Tobias Curtis himself.

"Ladies and Gentlemen and children of all ages, as long as they are over the age of thirteen or have their parents' permission to be here, or even if they don't, I don't care; are you ready to experience the first annual Scorpion July Fourth Marryoke Extravaganza. You see what I did there, combined marry and karaoke and got marryoke? Won't be the last time we merge some words tonight. As a matter of fact, let's merge a few more words right now. Do I have any newly merged married couples with me tonight? Anyone? Newly married?"

"Queen Dineen. Queen Dineen. Hey she's with Whitney. Whitney. Whitney. Whitney." Random strangers shouted from the crowd.

"They're calling us, let's go Walter." Paige said as she happily grabbed Walter's hand and got up to cheers and whistles. She had a smile on her face matching the trepidation in his.

"Who's Whitney?" Walter asked, thinking how did he get himself roped into a night like this.

"Seriously?" Paige looked at him. "Whitney Houston, the song you sang last night for me that made me fall even more in love with you if that was possible."

"Whitney Houston? I thought someone named Dolly Parton sang that song." Walter told her.

"Would you rather them be calling you Dolly right now, cause I'm sure Toby would love to have that little golden nugget of information." Paige told him as the crowds were still chanting for them.

"Good um point, let's keep that between us." Walter told her before joining her on his feet.

"Here they come, the happy couple. Give it up. Let them hear it. Let me introduce the lovely couple to you guys. My dear friends Walter and Paige O'Brien. Walter and Paige, or how they shall be called the rest of the night, Waige. We are going to be seeing a lot of them tonight. Paige will knock your socks off with her pipes, Walter well he's gonna be a good sport and try to keep up. Speaking of trying to keep up, here's a song request from my pal Walter O'Brien, a duet with his beautiful bride. Hit it, DJ Ralph."

Walter grabbed one of the microphones and looked up to his son with a wink and nodded that he was ready.

"Here goes nothing." He said looking at Paige, as his facial expression changed to one of mischief.

"What are you doing?" Paige asked but before Walter could answer the music started and she instantly knew the song and all the lyrics, she wouldn't need a prompter all night. Her enthusiasm was evident as she was jumping up and down when the music started, and she saw her husband fully engaged in his performance.

I got chills, they're multiplying

And I'm losing control

Cause the power you're supplying

It's electrifying

Paige loved this man so much and he was up on stage making a fool of himself for her and she was eating it up. She gave him a kiss before she started.

You better shape up

'Cause I need a man

And my heart is set on you

You better shape up

You better understand

To my heart I must be true

Nothin' left, nothin' left for me to do

You're the one that I want

Ooh, ooh, ooh, honey

The one that I want

Ooh, ooh, ooh, honey

The one that I want

Ooh, ooh, ooh

The one I need

Oh, yes, indeed

The song continued on and Walter had even tried to memorize all the choreographed steps after watching the video for the first time last night after figuring out that his wedding reception was turning into a huge bash at the beach. Keeping up the charade with his bride to see her reaction was well worth the embarrassment he knew was coming his way as he tried to keep up with her.

"I think I just brought it O'Brien." Walter told her as he left the stage, hoping not to have made a complete fool of himself.

"I told you, that girl can sing." Toby told the crowd as they cheered, "But what about my boy's dance moves. Who wants to try and top that? Anyone? Didn't think so. I'm gonna go ahead and take a shot here and do the only song appropriate for tonight. Ralphy Boy, cue my music."

Toby proceeded to sing White Wedding only he changed the song to Waige Wedding and had everyone sing along the chorus with him. It was an instant hit.

As that was going on Paige and Walter had a moment together as they watched on.

"You know you are the only person in the world I would do this for." Walter told her as he looked at her and saw the smile on her face. He knew he nad donem something very much to her satisfaction.

"I know, and I love you so much for it. You were amazing up there, by the way." Paige told him.

"Pfft. You think anyone was looking at me up there? Paige you are so beautiful, and your voice is so perfect, no one even knew I was up there. I had fun with you though." Walter said as he kissed her.

"Oh, people noticed you, trust me. I heard plenty of women cheering for you. And when did you learn to dance like that?"

"I watched some videos last night, or early this morning I should say. When I realized our reception was going to be turned into this, I figured I better do some research and not make a fool of myself. Besides, I told you, I wanted this day to be perfect for you."

"Walter this day is so far beyond perfect, you are such an amazing man, thank you for all that you are for me." Paige told him still smiling.

"The night is young Paige, I have plenty of time to screw it up." Walter said with a grin and then added, "Besides, nobody puts baby in a corner."

"Walter O'Brien, you are in trouble tonight."

"I sure hope so." He said back with another grin.

"Not that ki.., well you're gonna be in that kind of trouble too, but I am going to make you suffer out there with me now when we do that song."

"So, are you saying you're gonna bring it?" Walter asked her getting right next to her ear as he spoke.

"Oh, it's gonna be brought hard, if you know what I mean." Paige told him pressing her suddenly fully aroused body hard into Walter's torso letting him know she was all woman before taking his lips in hers.

Cabe went up after Toby and sang Walking on Sunshine and then Allie talked Happy into singing Girls Just Wanna have Fun with her. Sylvester sang Ring of Fire in a deep voice that got a huge reaction from everyone. Ralph got in on the act and sang Ice Ice Baby and nailed the entire song, much to the delight of a few young girls in the crowd. Mama Bear wasn't sure how she felt about his section of groupies that followed him from stage back to his DJ stand. Toby even got his wife to go out and sing Happy by Pharrell Williams. Other people went out and sang some songs as well and at some point, Toby got back out on the stage to bring Waige out for another duet.

Toby had his arm around Paige's shoulder as he started to talk again.

"Now this next song, we thought we were gonna pull one over on our pal Walt, but I think he may have been a little more prepared than we thought. He is a genius after all. He figured out what we had planned and learned the lyrics to this next one, but was it the remix version or the movie version."

Walter suddenly gulped not knowing if there was a difference. Or if a remix version even existed. Paige winked at him letting him know he would be okay; he knew all the different winks she gave and what they meant. Now could he get all the dance moves down. He knew Paige planned on doing them all. She planned on making him suffer.

"You ready… lover… boy?" Paige asked him over the microphone to a round of whistles and cat calls from the crowd. As she paraded in front of him while touching under his chin with the tips of her nails. She was more than ready to bring it.

"Anytime…. My sweet Bay-by." Walter sang as he grabbed her hand and kissed the back of her palm making her bow down to him with laughter as everyone yelled a little louder. How she loved this man.

Again Walter walked out first and started the song.

Now I've had the time of my life

No, I never felt like this before

Yes I swear, it's the truth

And I owe it all to you

And then Paige sang

'Cause I've had the time of my life

And I owe it all to you

The crowd ate it up as they danced along while they sang. Not only was Walter hitting every step of the dance he was smiling doing it. Walter O'Brien was on stage dancing, singing and smiling. That sounds insane. But when Paige Din… O'Brien was involved, the man would do anything. Anything! So here they were having the time of their lives and Walter was not going to screw anything up. He even nailed the part when she ran across stage, and he picked her up and held her high above his head turning her around for the whole beach to see.

The rest of the night was just as remarkable. Paige did a few solos and another duet with her husband. And the final song they sang was a classic, at least to them. The whole group of them went on stage and sang their theme song. Rock You Like A Hurricane by Scorpion. The party ended at midnight and everyone went home after having a great time. Waige were definitely island celebrities now.

Ralph grabbed his stuff and spent the night with Sylvester when they got back to their rooms. Leaving Walter and Paige alone in their suite.

"Walter O'Brien." Paige said as she made her way over to him on the couch grabbing a hold of his hand as she sat down on his lap.

"Paige O'Brien." Walter said raising his eyebrow as he kissed his wife, loving the sound of her name a little more every time he heard it.

"Mmm, I sure like the sound of that." Paige told him.

"Me um too. I really like the sound of that." Walter told her with a huge smile.

"What is that smile for, hubby?" Paige playfully asked.

"Hubby?"

"Do you prefer Dolly? Or Whitney? Or stud? I can go on." Paige asked with a kiss on the mouth after each name.

"Hubby it is." He told her as he moved her hair away from her beautiful face.

"Walter, thank you for today. Every single thing was perfect. From the note this morning with my breakfast, the wedding, your vows to me, Ralph, sneaking away for a while, dinner, karaoke, all of it, amazing. And not just tonight, everything has been magical since we've been here. You have treated me like a princess, thank you so much." Paige told him just burying her head in his shoulder as happy tears fell from her eyes realizing how lucky she was to have this man for a husband.

"I enjoyed every second of it. The last fourteen months and four days, have been the happiest time of my life. And I owe it all to you. Not quoting a song. But I have had the time of my life, sorry…" Walter said trying to get her to smile.

Paige laughed into his shoulder, mission accomplished.

"It's the truth." He continued.

Getting a belly laugh from her before she turned and kissed him on the mouth passionately, suddenly ready for much more. After a few minutes they separated their lips but kept their foreheads still touching.

"I love you so much Paige."

"I love you too."

"I will always…" Walter started to say.

Paige snorted before adding, "Quit that, you are getting yourself in some serious trouble."

"Mmmm, I sure hope so." Walter told her with another kiss, "But seriously I will Paige, always love you I mean. I have since I first met you."

"You are the sweetest man, Walter O'Brien. Those vows today, check please."

"I don't follow, Check, please?"

"It means mama was ready to go right then. Now do you understand?" Paige said cocking her head.

"Really?" Walter asked.

"Hell yes. Especially when you lost yourself in my eyes, Walter I thought I was going to have an orgasm in front of everyone. You made me feel so adored by you. And after we sang, You're The One That I Want and we were talking, mama was um ready again." Paige told him as she started readjusting herself on him and nibbling on his ear.

"Now um th-that t-time I um fe-felt um knew you w-were um…" Walter was trying to complete sentences but wasn't having much luck.

"What did you feel Walter? My bubbles?" She asked driving the man crazy.

"If they were bubbles Paige, they would have popped." Walter got out surprising her with his words.

Walter could see her aroused uh, bubbles again as he pulled her body close to his again to kiss her. My god did he love Paige Din… O'Brien and all her parts.

"Take your wife to bed." Paige told him and Walter obliged. "You've gotten yourself into a lot of trouble again tonight. A lot of trouble, mister."

"Guilty as charged."

And for the second night in a row, Walter O'Brien did not get a second of sleep. Not that he was complaining. The last twenty four hours were the best of his life.

A/N Sorry the chapter was on the shorter side. It was a good place to stop.
