Title: False True Love.
Summary: Seishirou Tsugumi doesn't have a crush on Hachiman Hikigaya. However, her friends don't really believe her. Featuring Chitoge Kirisaki, Raku Ichijou and the rest of the gang.
Note: Sequel to "Yes, Den Mother"
Seishirou Tsugumi set the alarm on her phone at its usual time. She was not a woman who gave into flights of fancy and ended up changing her routines or habits to better accommodate the sensitive feelings of others. Especially a guy and definitely not the one named Hachiman Hikigaya. She had just taken pity on him, that's all. There was nothing more to it. It's not like she wanted to spend time with him. No way, she wasn't like those loser women. Besides she had her own reason to be in his good books. He had to know she was doing him a solid favour by teaching him ways to stay fit and some rudimentary martial arts skills. In simple words, he owed her. And one day she was gonna come collect her payment.
As she dimmed the lights to her room – she had special light dimmer switches in her room. In fact, she had asked him to install them in her room to test whether he was a man who paid his debts, no matter how small they were. She had told him it was payment for being his physical trainer. He had looked at her a bit weird, shrugged his shoulders, but in a couple of days the electrician was called to do the necessary work.
For what it's worth they were a welcome addition. Light effects melatonin production and it can be especially difficult in modern times for our bodies to get the natural cues to go to sleep. These light dimmers created a kind of artificial sunset in her room, mimicking the level of natural light outside as it gets darker and as she found out it prepared her body to fall asleep at the right time.
But she had a couple of minutes on her hand and it wasn't really that late, so as it had become a habit of hers she reached for her phone once more to check up on a couple of things. It was after all her duty to stay in touch and keep herself appraised about each developing situation. Opening up a popular chatting app and shooting a text to a friend's group didn't take much effort.
[Tsugumi: Ojou! How was your day?]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: It was okay.]
[Tsugumi: You don't sound okay.]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: How will you know how I sound? We are talking through text.]
…
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Lol! I was just joking. I'm not mad.]
[Ruri Miyamoto: Raku and Chitoge had a fight.]
[Tsugumi: What!?]
[Tsugumi: I will shoot him.]
[Kosaki Onodera: Don't worry Tsugumi-chan. They later made up.]
[Shuu Maiko: Yeah, Seishirou-chan. They were back to their lovey-dovey selves in no time.]
[Raku Ichijou: Yeah, Tsugumi. Everything is alright between me and Chitoge. Isn't that right, honey?]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Of course darling!]
[Raku Ichijou: We are deeply in love!]
…
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Yeah.]
[Marika Tachibana: Raku-sama, have you heard about the wedding expo being organized by our campus. Let's get married!]
[Tsugumi: The hell!? Who allowed her into this group? Raku Ichijou, was it you?]
[Raku Ichijou: No, it wasn't me. I swear to God!]
[Tsugumi: Swear to me!]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Ah, nice. Batman Begins reference.]
[Tsugumi: Thanks ojou.]
[Tsugumi: You know I made a reference to Pulp Fiction to this complete moron, but he didn't get it.]
[Tsugumi: Guys are dumb.]
[Kosaki Onodera: Who was the guy Tsugumi-san?]
…
[Tsugumi: What are you talking about Onodera? There's no guy!]
[Raku Ichijou: Hey don't be rude to Onodera, Tsugumi.]
[Tsugumi: There is no guy!]
[Shuu Maiko: But you said guys are dumb.]
[Tsugumi: I was talking about you lot.]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Don't bully Tsugumi!]
[Marika Tachibana: I bet she is talking about Hachiman Hikigaya.]
[Tsugumi: No! I am not!]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Tsugumi is this true?]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: Is something going on between you and him?]
[Raku Ichijou: Hachiman Hikigaya? You mean the rotten dead fish eyed creep who is related to Tatsu, the immortal dragon, the most infamous and feared yakuza boss who gave up his criminal life to become a house husband.]
…
[Tsugumi: I didn't know about that.]
[Chitoge Kirisaki: I need to talk to him.]
[Tsugumi: Ojou, there's no need. I can handle him. He is no criminal. He is like Raku Ichijou.]
[Raku Ichijou: Oi, what does that mean? I'm nothing like him.]
[Shuu Maiko: Ah, but we never got to hear her answer. Seishirou-chan, do you have a crush on Hikigaya-kun?]
[Tsugumi: I will shoot you in the head if you say that again. Good night!]
A/N: And to celebrate reaching the milestone of 900 reviews, I uploaded a really short chapter. Really, I'm the worst. But I think it's more fun this way. Also, if you don't know Tatsu, check out the manga, "The Way of The Househusband". It's way too funny. And yes, Hachiman is related to him and wants to be a househusband just like him. You can't change my mind.
Speaking of which, as per everyone's wishes, The Ikebukuro Fic will get a side story and it will be published first. So please start suggesting the characters you want to see and I will start writing them. Here's a poll –
Poll#1: Which character should be explored first in Ikebukuro: Gaiden?
Option 1: Izaya Orihara.
Option 2: Light Yagami.
Option 3: Lelouch Lamperouge.
Option 4: Major Motoko Kusanagi.
Option 5: Celty Sturluson.
Option 6: Characters From The Review.
Also, this is something I have noticed over the years. People like it when a male character talks to a female character in a chapter. I think its because there is some romantic tension left to be explored. So, here's what I want to know. Will everyone be okay with Hachiman talking to Izaya Orihara for the entire length of the chapter? Or would you like someone like Haruno or Yukino or Saki or Miura or some other Oregairu women to talk to Izaya Orihara. The same thing goes with Light Yagami and Lelouch Lamperouge. So here's another poll –
Poll#2: With whom should Izaya Orihara interact?
Option 1: Hachiman Hikigaya.
Option 2: Haruno Yukinoshita.
Option 3: Yukino Yukinoshita.
Option 4: Saki Kawasaki.
Option 5: Yumiko Miura.
Please pick accordingly.
Hope everyone enjoyed reading this chapter.
Leave lots and lots of reviews, follow and fave.
Won't betray your dreams.
