Period. And then there was Atemu, whom this idea just seems to fit to a
t. I have no idea how to really write that saying, by the way. So, yes.
Kind of morose, because he is.
Oh, and the reference about earthquakes is perfectly real. They're so
common-place over there that no-one even notices the minor ones.
(Whereas over here they're on the news, in the papers, and the talk of
the country.)
Death

I must have seen a lot of death in my past existence.
I think, anyway. It's not like I can remember any of it.
But I think I must have seen a lot of it, because it doesn't affect me at all.
Not like it does to Aibou. Aibou gets so upset when anyone dies, even
if he's never met them. He gets so sad whenever there's a bad car
accident or earthquake - and that's just the sort of thing that happens
nearby.
But I can't ever bring myself to care about it.
And I have no idea why.
