The next morning Luffy woke up to the smell of freshly cooked bacon and eggs.
He sat up from his futon, and stretched upward, breathing in the scent of their breakfast.
"Ahhhh~ that sure smells good!" Luffy exclaimed, drooling.
"Good morning, Luffy!" Chopper greeted as he peeked from the kitchen.
"Ah~ wonderful morning, Luffy-san" Daichi also greeted.
"Morning, Chopper, Daichi-ossan!" Luffy replied gleefully, wiping off his drool with the back of his hand.
"Breakfast will be ready soon, you should wash up." Chopper announced.
Voicing out an "Alright!", Luffy stood up and headed for the bathroom to wash up, greeting Anika a "Good morning, Anika-san" along the way.
Before entering the bathroom, Luffy took a peek at Mika's room but there was no sight of Mika nor Nami.
"Oiii~ Chopper! Where's Nami?" Luffy yelled from the hallway in front of Mika's room.
"Nami-san is running errands with Mika in the market." Daichi replied, "I do hope you don't mind that I asked her to accompany Mika for a bit, do you?"
"Oh~ no worries." Luffy replied. "What time did they leave?"
"Hmmm~ now that you asked, they are taking quite a while. It shouldn't be taking them this long." Daichi voiced, worried.
"I'll go check on them." Luffy offered, as he ran towards the door.
"Thank you, Luffy-san." Daichi said, as Luffy was just about to close the door behind him.
"Oi! Shitty swordsman! Hurry the hell up!" Sanji yelled from the deck of the Thousand Sunny, Usopp waiting patiently beside him.
"Yeah~ yeah! Jeez! Can't a guy get some sleep on this ship!" Zoro complained, stepping out of their shared quarters, yawning.
"YOU DO NOTHING BUT SLEEP, YOU DAMN MOSSHEAD!" Sanji and Usopp retorted simultaneously, earning a giggle from the rest of the crew who were scattered about the deck doing their own thing.
"Why do I have to accompany you anyway?" Zoro whined, scratching the back of his head as he let out another yawn.
"Cause' it's our turn to help pick up food supplies, remember? I told you that last night." Usopp said as a matter of fact.
"Oh? You did?" Zoro answered, trying to recall their conversation.
"Forget it, Usopp. All that shitty mosshead thinks about is training, sleeping, and booze." Sanji said, taking a whiff from his cigarette. "Let's go, else, we're going to miss out on the fresh produce in the market."
"We're going now, everyone!" Usopp exclaimed at the crew, receiving a variety of responses back:
"Have a safe trip!" From Jinbei
"SUPPPERRRRRR see ya later, you three!" From Franky
"Keep an eye out for Zoro-san! He might get lost again! Unlike me, I don't have eyes! YOHOHOHOHOHO!" From Brook, earning an annoyed "OI!" from Zoro.
"Make sure not to cause any trouble!" From Robin.
Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp waved at the crew behind them as they walked down the Sunny's ramp, and made their way towards the town.
Even if it was still early in the morning, the market was already filled with people going from stall to stall, trying to purchase the best and freshest produce of the day, may it be for their businesses, or just for personal home use, the latter being the case for Nami, Mika, and Kin - who also tagged along, his tail wagging happily as he walked beside them.
"Nami-oneechan, Nami-oneechan! Look at all these vegetables! They're so colorful!" Mika exclaimed excitedly, running towards one of the stalls. "And over there! Look! Strawberries!" She continued, "OH! LOOK CRABS!", Mika exclaimed once more, this time running towards the aquarium full of crabs crawling about on the aquarium floor, Nami desperately trying to catch up with her.
"Mika-chan, don't go too far from me. You might get-"
"NAMI-ONEESAN! THEY HAVE ORANGES OVER THERE!" Mika yelled, happily, jumping for joy as she dashed towards the stall selling her favorite fruit.
Since Mika had a smaller build than Nami, she could easily and more swiftly pass through the throng of people, but for Nami she had to force her way through the crowd, and it didn't take long before she lost sight of Mika.
"MIKA-CHAN?" Nami yelled from the crowd, "MIKA-CHAN? KIN? WHERE ARE YOU?"
When Nami didn't receive any response she started to get worried.
"MIKA-CHAN? KIN?" Nami yelled once more, as she continued to push her way amongst the crowd.
Nami tried to jump up and down to try to get a better view of the crowd and the surrounding area but it was no use.
After a few minutes of struggling, Nami was finally able to step into a clearing where the crowd wasn't as thick. She tried to gather herself together first, then once more she called out to Mika and Kin, "MIKA-CHAN? KIN? WHERE ARE YOU? ANSWER ME IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!"
Nami waited for a few seconds to try hearing for any response. At first she could only hear the bustling sounds of the market, then as she listened closer, she could make out the sound of barking in one of the alleyways.
"That must be Kin." Nami thought to herself, making her way into one of the alleyways where she could hear Kin's bark.
"MIKA-CHAN? KIN? WHERE ARE YOU? ANSWER ME IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!"
"Huh? That voice...", Sanji whispered, turning his head towards the sound of a female voice, trying to register where he heard it from. "NAMI-SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!", he cried out as he recognized the voice he heard, dashing towards the sound of Nami's voice.
"OI! SANJI! WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?" Usopp cried out, chasing after him.
"THAT IDIOT!" Zoro exclaimed, following suit.
Running through the alleyways, Nami finally spotted a head of orange hair, and a fluff of gold a ways ahead of her, "Mika-chan! Kin!", Nami called out.
Mika turned her head towards Nami, "Nami-oneechan!" She cried, tears flowing down her cheeks.
Nami stopped dead in her tracks when she finally noticed that Mika wasn't alone. With Kin barking protectively in front of her, they were surrounded by a group of brawly men, their facial expressions all signifying they were up to no good.
"These guys look like pirates. And they're the nasty kind." Nami thought to herself, fear crawling through her skin. Mustering up all the courage she had she took hold of her clima-tact, jumping in between Mika, Kin; and the pirates, her clima-tact extended in front of her in a defensive stance.
"Get away from them!" Nami shouted angrily.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?", said one of the pirates.
"Wow~ what a babe!", exclaimed another.
"What do you want from her?" Nami voiced, stepping back slowly, with Mika behind her hugging Kin tightly, Kin still barking aggressively in her hold.
"We were just offering the little girl a job.", the pirate said, "May pay a little low at first since she's still too young for the actual job but once she grows older she's going to be earning us heaps of cash once we sell her to the highest bidder.", he continued, licking his lips in such a way that Nami felt utterly disgusted.
"Stay away from her! Take one step closer...I'm warning you things are going to get messy!" Nami yelled, waving her clima-tact in a swift forward motion, making the pirates step back.
"Ooooooh~ feisty, aren't we. I bet you too are going to sell at a really high price.", said the pirate, "How about we add this babe over here to our inventory, boss?"
A low, and menacing laughter resounded in the alley, as a man, bigger and bulkier than the rest, stepped out from the shadows behind the other men.
"He must be their captain." Nami figured, eyeing him intently.
"Today must be our lucky day", the captain voiced. "Now, why don't you be a good girl and come with us quietly? We don't want to mess up those beautiful faces after all."
"Over my dead body! GUST SWORD!" Nami yelled, waving her clima-tact pointed towards the men in front of her, a gust of wind blowing out the tip and pushing them back forcefully.
As the men were pushed down to the ground, Nami took this as a chance to make a run for it. Carrying Mika and Kin in her arms.
"THAT BITCH! AFTER HER!", the captain ordered.
Nami ran desperately, snaking her way through the alleyways, the group of men following behind her.
"Nami-oneechan!" Mika cried.
"Don't worry, Mika-chan! I'll get us to a safe place!" Nami reassured her.
Nami instinctively looked back to see how far the men were behind them, when all of a sudden her foot tripped on a crack on the ground, dropping Mika and Kin as she fell.
As they gathered their bearings, the men slowly closed the gap between them.
"MIKA! RUN! GET KIN AND RUN!" Nami yelled.
"But-"
"NO BUTS! GET AWAY FROM HERE! NOW!" Nami cried desperately.
Mika followed with a tearful nod, picking up Kin and running away from Nami and the pirates.
"OI! SHE'S GETTING AWAY!" One of the pirates yelled.
"IF YOU WANT HER...YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME FIRST!" Nami exclaimed, standing up slowly. She reached out to her holster on her leg to take out her clima-tact only to realize that it wasn't there. She looked around hastily, her eyes growing wide as she caught sight of her clima-tact on the ground a few feet away from her. "It must have fallen out when I tripped." Nami thought, her mind slowly starting to panic, having no weapon on hand.
The men didn't fail to notice her dilemma, as they quickly eyed the discarded clima-tact on the ground.
"Not so tough now without your little toy, now aren't ya?", the captain said, cackling menacingly.
Nami stepped back little by little as the men approached her, and with one last step, Nami's back hit a wall, "Shit!" Nami thought.
"You've got nowhere to run now, bitch!", one of the pirates said.
Mika and Kin ran and ran and ran until finally they were back at the market.
"Help!" Mika cried, "Help!", she continued desperately to the people, "Help! Nami-oneechan is in trouble! Help!"
No matter how much Mika begged, the people just ignored her plea.
"SOMEONE! PLEASE! HELP! Nami-oneechan is...Nami-oneechan is..."
"OI! MIKA!"
Mika turned her head towards the voice, her eyes growing wide, slowly she bit her lip as she tried to control her tears from flowing out, as she whispered, "Luffy onii-chan."
With Nami trapped in a corner, the pirates surrounded her, their glares menacing, their smiles flashing with evil intent.
"If only I could reach my clima-tact.", Nami thought desperately.
"You know we could have resolved this peacefully if you just complied.", the captain remarked, as he stepped forward, "but you just had to play hard to get. Let's do it this way, how about I strike a deal, you seem to be quite strong. I like that. A woman who can stand her ground. So, how about this, we won't chase after the little girl but in exchange you join our crew...as my personal plaything.", the captain said, his grin growing wider and more intimidating.
"Never! I'll never join a crew with the likes of you scum!" Nami exclaimed.
"What did you just call us, bitch!?", yelled one of the pirates, as he tried to grab Nami by the collar but was stopped by their captain.
"Haaa~ I don't really want to ruin your sweet face honey but...", the captain stepped forward, grabbed Nami by the collar and slapped Nami right on the face, throwing Nami to the ground, "you're starting to really get on my nerves!"
Nami let out a yelp as she hit the ground, closing her eyes as she winced, feeling the pain on her cheek.
Nami desperately tried to pull herself together, she had to think of a way out fast, as she looked around. Then finally, she noticed that her clima-tact was within reach.
With Sanji's observation haki, it was easy for them to be able to track down Nami's whereabouts. As Sanji ran with hearts in his eyes, he turned a corner and finally caught sight of Nami. "NAMI-SWA-"
Zoro quickly reached out, covered Sanji's mouth, and pulled him back to the corner.
"What did you just call us, bitch!?"
"What the hell are you doing, shitty marimo!?" Sanji retorted annoyed, pulling Zoro's hand away from his mouth.
"Shh!" Zoro hushed, pointing towards the direction of Nami.
Sanji took a quick peek, and finally noticed the group of men surrounding her.
"Haaa~ I don't really want to ruin your sweet face honey but..." *slap* "you're starting to really get on my nerves!"
"Oiii~! That situation's bad, isn't it?" Usopp said, hiding behind Zoro, his voice shakey.
"That son of a..." Sanji murmured angrily, taking a step forward to run towards Nami but he was stopped by Zoro once more, "Why are you stopping me, can't you see my Nami-san's in trouble you bastard!?"
"Wait!" Zoro said, watching as Nami tried to gather her bearings.
"You shitty marimo! Let go or I'll kick your ass!" Sanji threatened, trying to get his arm out of Zoro's grip, "Let go! I need to rescue my Nami-san!"
"Hmph, I don't think she needs your help." Zoro whispered, smiling.
Devising a plan in her head, Nami kept still on the ground as the captain of the evil pirate crew approached her.
Nami waited patiently, gripping a fistful of dirt in her hand discreetly, and as the captain got close enough, she threw the dirt into his eyes, temporarily blinding him, giving her the opportunity to grab her clima-tact, the rest of the crew too late to reach her.
"You bastards are going to pay! COME FORTH, ZEUS!" Nami exclaimed loudly, raising her clima-tact in the air, as a cloud of smoke appeared, and at the center of it was Zeus' grinning face.
"At your service, Nami!" Zeus voiced.
The pirates along with their captain were frozen in fear as a dark thundercloud loomed above them.
Nami yelled out her attack with confidence, "The weather says be weary of thunderstorms! ZEUS! RAI-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH, NAMI!"
All of a sudden the thunderclouds disappeared, with Zeus returning to the clima-tact. Nami turned her head to the voice and as soon as she realized the newcomer, her heart skipped with joy, as tears flowed out of her eyes, "Luffy."
Upon hearing Luffy's voice, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp turned their gaze towards him.
"That shitty captain, why is he so late!" Sanji exclaimed, wanting to punch their captain in the face for allowing this to happen to his dear navigator.
"Luffy just had to ruin the good part!", Zoro said, disappointed, "Anyway, all hell's going to break loose now. I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of those bastards." he added, a smirk on his face, as he noticed the furious look of their captain's eyes.
"Luffy~" Usopp whispered in relief, tears flowing down his face.
"Well, I guess, that's that. We're not needed here. Let's go." Sanji said, as he walked away; Zoro and Usopp following behind him.
"Luffy", Nami called out, relieved.
The other pirates turned their heads towards the newcomer.
"He looks familiar, where have I seen him from?", thought one of the pirates.
"Who the fuck are you?", the captain asked.
Luffy ignored him, as he walked towards Nami.
"Nami, are you okay?" Luffy asked, earning a nod from Nami.
"OI! Don't ignore us you piece of shit!", one of the pirates exclaimed, insulted that his captain was ignored, he threw a punch towards the straw-hat.
Luffy used a bit of his conqueror's haki, and with just one gaze, it was enough to make the pirate fall to his knees, shaking in fear. The rest of the crew, as well as the captain, also felt Luffy's haki and they too started to feel an immense fear consume them.
Luffy turned his gaze back towards Nami, but this time it was more gentle, "I'm sorry I'm late.", he whispered to her, reaching out to caress Nami's cheek.
Nami leaned in towards his hand, "It's okay", raising her hand as she grasped Luffy's with her own, "If you hadn't stopped me, I could have handled them on my own. I can protect myself.", Nami exclaimed proudly.
"I know you can. But...I want to protect you." Luffy said.
Nami's heart almost jumped out of her chest, if it weren't for the current situation they were in, she would have kissed him right there and then.
Luffy scanned Nami from head to toe, and finally he noticed the bruise on her other cheek. He raised his other hand to Nami's bruised cheek, smoothing it over, his eyebrows slowly knotting together, and a fire slowly igniting in his eyes.
"Who did this to you?", Luffy asked in a low, firm voice.
"Ah~ this? It's nothing, don't bother about it." Nami shrugged, fearing for the life of the person responsible for putting a bruise on her cheek.
"Nami-"
"I DID!", the pirate captain remarked proudly, finally shaking off the earlier attack from Luffy's haki, "What are you going to do about it, pipsqueak?"
Luffy let out a sigh, he took his straw hat from his head, and placed it on Nami's.
"Nami, get out of here.", Luffy whispered gently, "Mika's waiting at the end of the alleyway with Kin, go wait for me with her there."
"Are you planning to fight them? Can't you just knock them out with your haki?" Nami asked, only loud enough for the both of them to hear.
"I can", Luffy responded, then flashed a devious grin, "But that would be no fun now, wouldn't it?"
Nami sighed, "Okay then, but don't take too long, alright?", she said as she walked away.
"Now then,", Luffy said as soon as Nami was out of sight, facing towards the captain and his pirate crew.
"CAPTAIN! I remember where I've seen him from!", one of the pirates exclaimed in fright, pulling out a roll of paper from his bag, "I couldn't make it out because his hair is white in the poster! He's the captain of the Strawhats! Monkey D. Luffy! He's an emperor of the sea!"
"WHAT!?", yelled the rest of the crew in disbelief.
"That doesn't matter now, does it? Now then,", Luffy remarked, cracking his knuckles, a wide grin plastered on his face, "Who wants to go first?"
"MIKA-CHAN!" Nami called, as she stepped out of the alleyway.
"NAMI-ONEESAN!" Mika exclaimed, jumping out towards Nami with tears in her eyes, and giving her a hug. "Nami-oneesan, I thought you were going to die.", Mika bawled into Nami's chest.
"I'm sorry, Mika-chan. How about you, are you hurt anywhere?" Nami asked gently.
Mika just shook her head as she kept it in between Nami's chest.
"That's good." Nami whispered, hugging Mika tighter.
The two of them relished in each other's embrace for a while until..."NAMI-SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!"
Nami turned her head towards the voice she all knew too well.
"Sanji-kun!" Nami said, also calling out to the other two men with him, "Usopp! Zoro! What are you guys doing here?"
"We were out buying food supplies when Sanji over here sensed you with his observation haki." Usopp said.
"NAMI-SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! Are you hurt?" Sanji yelled, searching for any cuts and bruises on Nami from head to toe.
"I'm fine, Sanji-kun. Just a small bruise." Nami remarked. "Wait, how did you know I got hurt?"
"We saw your little altercation with those men in the alleyway." Usopp replied, "Sanji was about to intervene but Zoro stopped him since you were about to hit them with your raitei, then Luffy appeared."
"Oh, is that so?" Nami said.
"Speaking of Luffy, where is the idiot?" Zoro asked, looking around.
"Over here!" Luffy interjected, stepping out from the alleyway, no bruises or cuts in sight, grinning widely.
"Luffy!" Said everyone simultaneously.
"So, did you kill them?" Zoro asked, nonchalantly.
"Of course not." Luffy replied, "But...close enough. SHISHISHISHI~!"
"Idiot! That's not funny!" Usopp exclaimed.
Nami and Sanji, on the other hand, simply sweatdropped.
"By the way, Nami", Usopp interrupted, "Who is that girl you've been carrying?", he continued, pointing toward the orange haired girl in Nami's arms.
"Ah! This is Mika-chan!", Nami introduced, "Mika-chan, say hello, these are our crew mates, Usopp, Sanji, and Zoro."
"Hello.", Mika greeted with her cute, and tiny voice, her cheeks red, as she rubbed the remainder of the tears away from her now swollen eyes.
"SO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE~!", Sanji yelled, all too excitedly.
*arf* *arf*
"Ah! And this is Kin!" Nami added, as the golden ball of fluff circled around her, barking happily, his tail wagging.
Zoro eyed Mika suspiciously, noticing how her features look so similar to Luffy and Nami, "OI NAMI, LUFFY! You didn't tell us you had a baby!"
"DON'T BE STUPID!" Nami retorted, "IF I WEREN'T HOLDING MIKA, I WOULD HAVE PUNCHED YOU ALREADY!"
Zoro also earned an "Idiot" from Usopp and Sanji, whilst Luffy simply laughed it off.
"Jeez~ seriously." Nami muttered, "Anyway...Luffy, we need to get back. Daichi-san and Anika-san must be worried sick. And before we leave the island, we need to report those pirates to the local authorities. Those guys are into human trafficking. They're really bad news! Total scums!"
"Alright! We also need to have that bruise of yours checked by Chopper." Luffy replied. "Well, we'll see you guys later.", he said, waving goodbye temporarily to Usopp, Sanji, and Zoro.
"Yeah! See you two later!" The other three Strawhats called out as Luffy, Nami, Mika, and Kin made their way back to the cabin.
Luffy and Nami had informed Daichi and Anika of what had transpired as soon as they got back to the cabin.
"Thank you, Nami-san, Luffy-san for protecting our daughter not just once but twice." Anika said, taking Nami's hand in hers as she gripped it tight.
"We just can't thank you enough.", Daichi added, "We will never forget what you have done for us...for Mika."
"We're glad to help, Daichi-san, Anika-san." Nami responded.
"I do hope that you can stay a little longer." Anika remarked sadly, gesturing towards a now teary-eyed Mika.
Nami bent lower to level her gaze with Mika, "Mika-chan, don't be sad, we promise we'll visit you again, alright?"
Mika nodded with a sniff, then jumped towards Nami, giving her a tight hug, "I'll miss you, Nami-oneesan."
"I'll miss you too, Mika-chan", Nami replied.
Nami then released Mika from the hug, and pointed towards Luffy.
Mika ran towards Luffy, jumped up as she yelled, "Luffy-oniichan!", giving him the tightest hug she could muster. "Oniichan! Promise you'll play with me again one day, okay?", she said, crying into his chest.
"We'll come back here, Mika-chan. It's a promise! Shishishishi~!" Luffy said.
"Well, we'll be going now." Chopper said, "Daichi-san, Anika-san, thank you very much for your hospitality, and for all the rare herbs and medicines that you have given us as well."
"You're welcome, Chopper-san." Daichi replied.
"Goodbye, Mr. Reindeer!" Mika said, walking towards Chopper and giving him a quick hug.
"Goodbye, Mika-chan! Take care of yourself okay? Don't go wandering too far into the forest, alright?" Chopper said to her, "Well, it's best we get going, now."
"Goodbye, Daichi-san, Anika-san, Mika-chan, Kin-chan! We'll see you again soon!" The three Strawhats exclaimed simultaneously, waving their last goodbyes, as they made their way back to the Thousand Sunny.
A few hours later, the Strawhats had finally set sail once more.
Just having finished dinner, Nami was out leaning on the railing of the empty deck of the Thousand Sunny, enjoying the fresh ocean breeze as it gently hit her face.
"Nami." Luffy called out softly, as he approached.
"Luffy." Nami responded.
"How are you holding up?" Luffy asked.
"I'm okay.", Nami replied, "I'm just worried about Mika. Today might have traumatized her in some way, you know?"
"Mika's a strong girl.", Luffy reassured, "I'm sure she's going to grow up as strong as you. Not to mention as beautiful as you as well. Shishishishi~!"
"Mou~ when did you learn to be such a flirt?", Nami said jokingly, pushing him slightly on the shoulder, "And here I thought you were a naïve, innocent, pure boy." She added, leaning on her side towards Luffy, laughing softly.
Both of them fell into a comfortable silence, allowing the soft breeze to brush by.
Nami returned her focus to the horizon in front of her as Luffy let out a shy, boyish smile, his gaze affixed on the orange haired girl he had come to love.
"You did great today, Nami.", Luffy voiced, as Nami shifted her focus to him once more, "For standing your ground, and for protecting Mika.", Luffy raised his hand towards Nami's bruised cheek, caressing it gently, as he inched closer and gave a gentle, lingering kiss on her cheek, "I'm proud of you."
Luffy and Nami held each other's gaze, as Nami leaned in on Luffy's hand on her cheek, responding with a "Thank you.", a smile on her lips.
Returning her smile, Luffy leaned in once more but this time kissing Nami on the lips. Nami's heart leapt for joy as she allowed herself to be consumed by the kiss.
Luffy nimbled on her lower lip asking for entrance, as to which Nami complied, allowing Luffy's tongue to slip through her lips.
The kiss was gently yet passionate and filled with desire, as Nami softly moaned into the kiss and slowly felt heat building up her abdomen.
"ahem!", a voice coughed. But Luffy and Nami were still too engrossed in their own world.
"AHEM!", the voice coughed louder, this time finally catching the two lovebirds attention.
Startled, Luffy and Nami turned towards the voice coughing behind them, only to see the entire crew with teasing smiles on their faces.
"You know, were delighted and all that you two are finally together but...get a room." Usopp remarked, nonchalantly, with Chopper unconscious beside, after seemingly having fainted once more due to the public display of affection from his two crewmates.
"SUUUPPERRRRRRRRRRRR CONGRATULATIONS YOU TWO!" Franky cheered.
"How nice it is to be so young!" Jinbei exclaimed.
"I'm so happy, I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my chest! OH! But I don't have a heart nor a chest...YOHOHOHOHOHOHO!" Brook remarked.
Sanji was biting on a handkerchief, a fountain of tears gushing out from his eyes, "I'm...I'm...happy for you too but...but...I'M SO JEALOUS!", he screamed, wailing, "NAMI-SWAAAAAN~!"
"Way to go, Captain!" Zoro said with a smirk.
"Congratulations, Luffy, Nami. I guess now Nami doesn't have to sneak around Luffy anymore." Robin commented.
"Yeah~ it was getting really tiring you know. Nami sneaking glances at Luffy all the time, as if we wouldn't notice!" Usopp added.
"What? But I WAS being discreet! At least I thought I was.", Nami defended herself, "Are you saying all of you knew this whole time?"
The rest of the crew looked at each other before simultaneously replying, "Yeah!", with a nod.
"Did you know too, Luffy?" Nami asked, facing him.
"Hmmmm~...YEAH!", Luffy replied as if it were so obvious. Then he leaned in to whisper in Nami's ear, "I also know about all those dirty looks you've been giving me.", he said in a low, husky, seductive voice, as he quickly nibbled on Nami's ear.
Nami's face instantly flushed bright red, as she tries to punch Luffy on the chest but before she could make contact Luffy catches her arm and pulls her toward him for a kiss on the lips.
As soon as they break apart Luffy lets out his famous "Shishishi~". The blush on Nami's cheeks darkens further, and as if by instinct she automatically throws a punch at Luffy, which this time successfully connects with Luffy's face, as Nami yells, "YOU BIG IDIOT!".
Now with Luffy's face all beat up and swollen he tries to mumble an "I'm sho...I'm showwy."
The entire crew sweatdrop's as they watched the scene unfold, all of them with one thought in their minds, "Nami's scary".
