Ben 10: Alien Rebirth

It started with an alien device that did what it did. It stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid. Now he's got super powers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Ben 10! My retelling of the Ben 10 series, with various changes throughout the story, including: mild cursing, some mild violence, skipped and altered episodes, etc. New chapters (almost) every Tuesday

26. Chapter 26

Ben 10: Alien Rebirth

Chapter 26: Ben 10,000

We see the Tennyson crew once again as Max is about to get some firewood.

Ben and Gwen are both smiling very cheerily, side by side.

Max, "you kids be good while I'm gone, alright?"

Ben, "no problem Grandpa."

Gwen, "just hurry back!"

Max chuckled as he walked off.

But as soon as he's gone, Ben and Gwen drop the act as Hope comes out of the RV with a sign that said, "Happy 55th Birthday!"

Gwen, "you were supposed to get the cake!"

Ben, "no, you were!"

Gwen, "fine, I know how we can solve this."

Ben, "rock, paper, scissors?"

Gwen, "you read my mind."

Hope rolls her eyes as they do the game of rock, paper and scissors to determine who would get the cake.

Ben wins the first round.

Gwen wins the second.

Before the final count can decide the victor, a portal appears in the middle of the campground and a woman flies out from it!

Ben and the others were shocked as they took in her appearance.

She has a mask to cover her face and she has the five Charms of Bezel on her left arm. She wore a dark blue cloak that billowed in the wind.

She quickly dashed forward and grabbed Gwen!

Ben, "hey!"

Hope, "Gwen!"

Ben quickly pulls down his wristband and s)ams down, transforming into XLR8 and runs into the portal with Hope following behind as fast as she can.

The portal closes after they enter it.

Max returns with firewood after this.

Max, "alright, I got the…. Ben? Gwen? Hope?"

….

We see the mysterious woman arrive with Gwen into a futuristic world!

XLR8 races after them with Hope close behind. They dash into the woman, sending her flying away as XLR8 grabs both girls and slows them down.

They all stand there and take in the huge futuristic city around them.

It looks like something out of the Fifth Element or Blade Runner!

Aliens and humans walked around together as if it were normal.

Hope, "something tells me we aren't in Kansas anymore."

A girl on a hoverboard waves at XLR8, saying, "hey there Ben!"

She winks at him and flies off.

As he waves back, with Hope looking a bit jealous, a kid spots him and recognizes him.

They shout, "sup Ben 10K! You rock!"

XLR8, "Ben 10K? What are they talking about?"

Gwen, "I think that?"

Gwen points to a rather large statue of an older Ben, with an engraving on the bottom.

Hope blushed at how handsome Ben's future self looked.

XLR8, "whoa. 'Hero of Heroes: Ben Ten Thousand.' Is that really me?"

Suddenly, the statue is torn down!

Hope, "that's not good."

Out steps a villain named Exo-Skull, a cybernetically enhanced rhinoceros.

Exo-Skull, "hey! Tennyson! Long time no see!"

XLR8, "um…. Yeah."

Gwen, "you know this guy?"

XLR8, "haven't a frigging clue."

XLR8 runs towards him, hoping that he'll be able to deliver a blow, but unfortunately, the Omnitrix times out and XLR8 reverts back into Ben before he can attack.

Ben, "every! Dang! Time!"

Suddenly, the woman from before appears and casts a spell before Exo-Skull attacks Ben. This sends them back a good couple of feet as she goes on the attack, hoping to take him down, but he shoots a net to take her down instead!

Ben, Hope and Gwen are now in danger and run for their lives.

All of a sudden, someone speeds in to help, and takes out Exo-Skull in no time flat, delivering several super speed punches!

It turns out to be another XLR8, only wearing an advanced looking black and white jumpsuit.

The woman approaches and says, "took you long enough, dweeb."

Future XLR8, "please don't call me that. We're in our thirties. And they shouldn't be here. Get them to the headquarters and send them home."

Ben, "whoa. you're me, right? And it looks like I'm new and improved! This is so cool! That I'm so cool! Did you say headquarters? I have my own headquarters! Awesome!"

Future XLR8, "ugh, I don't have time for this."

He tries to walk away, but Ben runs in front of him and asks, "wait! When do we get a tour of this place?"

Future XLR8, "hmm, how about…. NEVER!"

He races off as Gwen and the woman both say, "ugh, what a dweeb."

Gwen looks at the woman in shock.

Gwen, "wait a minute. Are you-?"

The woman reveals her face, showing that she was a 37-year old Gwen, with a tight orange ponytail going down her back.

Gwen, "me!?"

The older Gwen snaps her fingers, and a pair of glasses appear on her face.

She says, "I go by Gwendolyn now. It's nice to see you don't put up with his attitude."

Hope, "so we're in the future!"

Gwendolyn, "that's right. And let me say, both of you get some major upgrades to your powers one day."

Gwen, "this is so cool! How many spells do we learn? How do I get these powers? Do I ever get a black belt?"

Gwendolyn, "ah, ah, ah. I can't reveal too much yet…."

Ben, "can someone please explain to me why we're here in the future?!"

Gwendolyn, "I need your help. You fully mastered the Omnitrix, and another device even more powerful than it, but there's still something your future self needs help with."

Ben, "oh! I get ya! A good old fashioned bad guy butt kicking!"

Gwendolyn, "that might not be enough power to support him in future encounters…."

Suddenly, Gwendolyn's belt alerts them that an attack is going on.

Gwendolyn, "looks like Sector 15-D is being attacked! That place contains DNA samples from across the galaxy!"

Ben, "sounds like Dr. Animo's doing."

Gwendolyn, "most likely. He does this kind of stuff all the time."

Ben attempts to activate the Omnitrix, but it's still red and has to recharge.

Ben, "great! Now how are we gonna get there?"

Just then, a familiar vehicle stops in front of them.

The RustBucket! Although it looked even rustier.

Out of the RV pops an 80-year-old Grandpa Max! He looks skinnier, still wears the old baseball cap, and also wears an old fishing vest.

Future Max, "does somebody need a lift?"

Gwen and Ben, "Grandpa!"

Max smiles as he hugs his grandkids.

Max, "aw, seeing you kids like this again is the best present I could get today!"

Hope smiles before Max pulls her into the hug as well.

Soon, they all come inside the newly modified RV, and see that much of it has been rebuilt, the inside looking sleek and futuristic, unlike the outside.

They are amazed by how the RV now has the ability to fly, as it speeds off to Sector 15-D.

Ben, "so, where do we sleep in here?"

Gwendolyn, "you've got your own headquarters, so you don't really have a need to stay here."

Ben and the others share a concerned look.

The RV stops at Sector 15-D, and the group races out.

Ben, "you coming Grandpa?"

Future Max, "oh, heh, you haven't needed my help in a long time. Just promise to say goodbye before you go."

Hope, "of course we will!"

The group runs inside as Max goes back into the RV, giving a sad look.

….

As they run in, Ben says, "FourArms should have enough muscle to deal with Animo…."

Ben pulls down his wristband and presses down on the watch, but he transforms into StinkFly instead!

StinkFly muttered, "sonuva…."

The group heads into the sector.

Inside, future FourArms is already fighting.

Their armor looks more gruff and worn out, and their teeth were sharper.

StinkFly flies over and says, "hey! I wanted to go FourArms too! Great minds must think alike!"

Future FourArms, "yeah, right…."

As the smoke clears, Animo heads out, revealing his future self to be biologically enhanced.

His head, inside of a glass dome, is attached to what appears to be a giant gorilla body!

Hope, "ugh, and I thought he couldn't get any uglier…."

Future Animo, "ah, we meet again young Benjamin. You won't stop my plans! I shall use all 10,000 DNA samples to create my monstrous minions!"

StinkFly, "that ain't gonna happen!"

StinkFly comes in to attack, but Future FourArms ties StinkFly's tail down.

Future FourArms, "stay outta my way!

StinkFly, "hey! You can't- I mean, I can't do that to me!"

Gwen, "why doesn't he let us help?"

Gwendolyn, "he hasn't wanted our help in a long time."

As Future FourArms and Animo fight, their fists clashing for a few moments, Future FourArms transforms into a large green alien, and he fires slime at Animo!

They then transform into future Buzzshock to electrify him, then transform into future Cannonbolt to knock him out.

Future Cannonbolt's armor looks tougher, and the Omnitrix is now on their chest. It made it harder for an enemy to get to it now.

Animo is down for the count in a few moments.

StinkFly, "wow, I rock! What do you call that other one? Loogie Man? Spitter?"

Future Cannonbolt, "they're not pets. I don't name them anymore."

Future Cannonbolt then transforms into an alien that looked like a blue monkey with multiple limbs, a spider-monkey of sorts, and used some webbing to tie Animo down before turning back into future FourArms.

Hope, "but that was always the fun part of you getting a new alien."

As future FourArms leaned Animo on the wall, guess who showed up?

The Galactic Enforcers!

They looked the same as ever as they arrived to help.

Ultimos, "greetings Ben. We thought you could use some help?"

But future FourArms transforms into future XLR8.

Future XLR8, "sorry, you're too late. Animo has already been dealt with."

Ultimos, "you know, we should be given a chance to help out. We are supposed to be allies."

XLR8, "no. I can handle it. Now, please get Animo to the Null Void. I need to deal with a time travel situation."

Ultimos, "sigh, very well."

It's at this point that Ben's Omnitrix times out, reverting StinkFly back to Ben and setting him free from the wall.

XLR8 grabs Ben and Gwen and runs off as Gwendolyn uses her magic to send her and Hope to the headquarters.

As the Galactic Enforcers are about to clean up the mess they were told to do, Animo releases a gas that causes them to collapse.

Animo, "foolish heroes. They have no idea what I'm about to release…."

He rips open a nearby chamber holding what seems to be the remains of….

Animo, "Vilgax. Tennyson's greatest foe! And soon to be his end!"

Animo shoots a strange beam at the remains of Vilgax, slowly mutating it and making it grow larger!

….

At Ben 10,000's headquarters, Ben is amazed by how it's built.

Ben, "whoa! This is my headquarters? Awesome! I must chill out here a lot."

Future XLR8, "there's no time. I'm always patrolling the planet. Thus, Ben has no need to hang out here."

Ben, "jeez, a barrel of fun, hmm?"

Hope, "I'm not sure I like seeing you acting like this."

While future XLR8 scans for any dangers, he tells Ben, Hope and Gwen, "do not touch anything. I'll be right back."

Future XLR8 speeds off.

Ben, "so, is there anything else I should know about?"

Gwendolyn, "well-"

That's when they all hear a large thump above them.

Gwendolyn, "well, looks like they're home."

Gwen, "who's home?"

That's when they hear, "Aunt Gwen/Mom!"

They all turn to see three younger people enter the room.

The first is a young boy that looked like Kevin, who ran into Gwendolyn's arms.

Gwendolyn, "oh, my little Devin!"

Gwen, "Devin?"

The boy, Devin, looks at Gwen and says, "mom, why is there a younger you here?"

Gwen, "wait, he's my son?!"

Gwendolyn, "I kinda hoped I could ease you into this, but…. Gwen, meet Devin. And I assume his daddy isn't far behind."

Devin, "Dad's off with Aunty Hope and Great Grandma Xylene getting birthday gifts for Great Grandpa Max."

Hope smiled. Aunty Hope. That meant she was still a part of the team after twenty years!

The other two who entered looked like a 10-year old Ben but with a streak of white in his hair, and a girl near her twenties with a brown ponytail with a streak of blue in it, dressed in a blue jacket with a 10 on it, a black shirt and dark blue jeans.

The girl, "hey Aunt Gwen."

The boy looked at Ben and Gwen and said, "um, why are their younger versions of you and dad here?"

They also saw Hope standing there, but didn't say anything yet.

Gwendolyn, "bit of a time travel dilemma."

Ben, "um, ahem…. DAD?!"

Gwendolyn, "again, I wish I could've eased you into this. Ben, meet Lumi and Ken. Your kids."

Ben nearly fainted if Hope hadn't caught him.

Hope, "um, and who are the other parents?"

Gwendolyn, "if we told you that much, it may change things."

Ben, Hope and Gwen nodded, still shocked by seeing their future kids.

Ben sees that Lumi has an Omnitrix as well.

Ben, "so, when did you get your watch?"

Lumi, "I got mine years ago, due to circumstances, very young."

That's right when the future XLR8 comes back.

Lumi, "er, hey dad."

Ken, "hi dad."

Future XLR8, "hey kids."

Ben, "jeez, are you ever gonna lighten up?"

Lumi, "you kidding? Dad hasn't lightened up in years!"

Ken, "I don't even know if he can!"

Hope thought, 'but, that's what I love about him!'

Ben jumps onto his future self's hoverboard and says, "come on! A little race won't kill ya!"

Future XLR8 snatches the hoverboard and makes Ben fall as he says, "no! Those days are over."

Ben, "well, what I'm over is being a hero if this is how I turn out! I am such a jerk!"

While Ben and future XLR8 argue about their different behaviors, an alert is sent out that another sector is under attack!

Gwendolyn, "the sector being attacked is 61 stories below us."

Lumi, "that's where the Null Void projector is!"

….

There, Animo tries to activate the Null Void Projector.

Suddenly, future XLR8 arrives and transforms into future DiamondHead to fight!

Future DiamondHead had an outfit almost identical to Tetrax's, but with no helmet and arms.

Future DiamondHead, "it ends now, Animo!"

"Oh, but it's only just beginning."

Vilgax then steps out from the shadows and is shown to be alive, and much larger than before!

Dr. Animo, "Mister Vilgax. So nice you could rejoin me."

Future DiamondHead, "no! Impossible!"

Gwen, Gwendolyn, Hope, Lumi and Ben arrive at the Null Void Projector room to help out.

Ben, "Gwen, and uh, Gwen, you guys go after Animo. Hope, me and Lumi will go and help, uh, me!"

They nod as they all dash off to fight.

Ben, "let's see if I can actually get FourArms this time?"

Ben attempts to transform into FourArms yet again, but he transforms into Upgrade instead.

Upgrade, "ugh, sometimes I think this thing is mocking me!"

Upgrade quickly adapts and goes on the attack by merging with the hoverboard.

Hope fires up her magic, and they see Lumi dial up her Omnitrix, transforming into a dark blue moth alien with glowing green eyes.

Upgrade, "woah! You got a name for that form?"

Lumi, "no. I actually do name my forms, but this is one that I don't. You'll know why in a few years."

Upgrade and Hope nodded as the three of them rushed in. Upgrade launched themself at Vilgax, sending him right into the wall!

Future DiamondHead, "get outta here! This is my fight!"

Upgrade, "if it's your battle, then it's mine too!"

Future DiamondHead thinks for a moment as Lumi says, "Dad, please, for once, let someone help."

These words seemed to convince him as Future DiamondHead said, "well then, this might help."

He touches the Omnitrix on Upgrade, and turns him into Cannonbolt!

Cannonbolt, "hey! I don't have to be Ben anymore."

He then promptly falls over.

Lumi, "same thing happened when I got that alien. I call mine; Wrecking Ball."

Future DiamondHead then transforms into WildMutt, who has slightly longer fur, a tail, and way sharper teeth. Hope jumps onto their back, brandishing her magic in her palms.

….

Gwen and Gwendolyn are inside fighting Animo. The girls notice that the Null Void is about to open!

A Null Guardian manages to fly out and attack, but Gwendolyn jumps into the air and bicycle kicks them!

Gwen, "woah!"

Gwendolyn, "by the way, that black belt you were wondering about? You got it years ago. And it's come in handy many times."

Gwen, "awesome!"

….

Cannonbolt, Lumi, Hope and future WildMutt continue fighting Vilgax, but it appears that they don't have the power to defeat him.

All of Hope's magic seems to bounce off of him!

Vilgax, "your cheap conjurings will not work on me!"

Lumi tries freezing Vilgax with an ice breath their alien had, but they were quickly able to break out of it and knock her away.

Hope jumps off of future WildMutt as they go on to the attack.

As future WildMutt attacks, they are knocked away and they transform into future HeatBlast.

Future HeatBlast has spiked purple armor on their arms with their shoulders looking like small volcanoes.

But he still cannot defeat Vilgax as he is knocked into the air.

Lumi suddenly turns into their version of HeatBlast, which looked identical to Gwen 10's but with a flaming ponytail, and started shooting flames at Vilgax, but he merely shrugged them off, even as Hope started to throw objects at him with her magic!

Lumi, "dang! Not even Volcana can stop them!"

Future HeatBlast then transforms into future StinkFly.

They look slightly larger with sharper teeth, and the colors to their outfit switched.

He tries to fight Vilgax, but he is defeated as well.

He then transforms into a large dinosaur alien with two green bandoliers over their chest. The two grapple for a moment before the dino alien is sent flying away!

He then transforms into a large bi-pedal tiger alien shouting, "LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING VILGAX! RATH IS GETTING SUPER TICKED OFF AT YOU!"

Cannonbolt, "I thought you didn't name them anymore?"

Future Rath, "LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ME FROM THE PAST! RATH CAN'T CONTROL WHAT RATH SAYS HALF THE TIME!"

He runs at Vilgax, and puts up a good fight for a minute before being launched away.

He then transforms into some sort of bird alien with a mohawk, green belt and bandolier. He tosses a few punches at Vilgax before he transforms into future XLR8 and continues to fight Vilgax.

Vilgax, "you think you can destroy me? I analyzed every one of your aliens. Animo programmed their moves into my new DNA. Nothing you can do will surprise me anymore!"

Vilgax swats XLR8 away, but Max arrives just in time and blasts Vilgax with the gun designed to destroy him, which sends Vilgax flying into a wall hard enough to kick up dust.

Lumi, "Great Grandpa!"

Future Max, "thought you could all use some help."

Hope, "great timing Max!"

Cannonbolt, "Grandpa! Head in and help out Gwen and Gwendolyn. We'll take care of Vilgax!"

Max nods with a smile, happy to be a part of the action again.

Vilgax, Lumi, Hope, Cannonbolt, and future XLR8, who turns into future FourArms, then fall off of a ledge and land several stories below.

….

Meanwhile, Gwen is in danger, with one of the Null Void creatures running at her, but luckily, future Max comes just in time to extend a robotic arm to reach her and pull her close.

Gwen sees that Max has a robotic arm now!

Gwen, "where'd you get that?!"

Future Grandpa Max, "a lot can happen in twenty five years, hmm? Come on. Let's show him what we Tennysons are made of."

He transforms his arm into a giant gun and goes off to fight Dr. Animo with the Gwens.

….

The combatants down below are having a standoff as this goes on.

Cannonbolt, "we need to take him down!"

Future FourArms, "how? He knows all of my moves!"

Cannonbolt, "he may know how all your aliens fight. But does he know what Ben Tennyson can do? I just hope after all this time you haven't forgotten too."

Cannonbolt races after Vilgax.

Future FourArms looked down in thought as Hope said, "y'know, since you're the future Ben, you should know that the reason I fell in love with you, was your fun-loving attitude. The way you treat saving the day as like the greatest thing to do. I hope you know that."

Hope quickly follows after Cannonbolt, with Lumi turning into her own version of XLR8, who looked slimmer, and with a dark blue and white outfit.

She says, "let's see if Mach5 can catch up!"

She speeds after the others as Vilgax arrives to the fight.

Future FourArms approaches. He transforms back into Ben 10,000. He looked like his statue, but with slicked back hair that he quickly shook back into being spiky and unkempt.

Ben 10,000, "you know, maybe you're right. Maybe I should start acting like Ben again!"

Ben 10,000 jumps onto a hoverboard and starts speeding towards Vilgax!

Vilgax is amused by Ben 10,000's attempt to defeat him with his true form.

Ben 10,000 stops and transforms Cannonbolt into DiamondHead and uses a hoverboard to make Vilgax try and get him.

Ben 10,000, "catch me if you can, squid-breath!"

Mach5, "woah. I haven't seen Dad like this in a long time!"

Once Ben 10,000 has Vilgax near a pool of water, he transforms into Spitter and spews slime at the villain, trying to knock them into the water.

Vilgax reaches the ledge of water and DiamondHead uses the diamonds to push him down into the water.

Spitter then transforms into an ice alien to freeze the water, trapping Vilgax inside with Mach5 turning back into Lumi's moth alien and helping freeze him.

Diamondhead, "hey, what do you call this guy?"

The ice alien, "I don't name…. Uh, I don't know, Absolute Zero?"

DiamondHead, "nah. What about…. Articguana?"

Arctiguana, "cool."

Hope smiled and thought, 'looks like we fixed his attitude.'

….

Back at the Null Void Projector, Gwen, Gwendolyn, and future Max manage to best Dr. Animo, causing his head to unscrew from his ape-like body.

Dr. Animo's head attempts to get away, but Gwen holds it down by standing on one of its tendrils.

Gwen, "going somewhere?"

Max then proceeds to shut down the Projector, sealing all the captured beings inside.

….

Later, at the headquarters, Ben, Ben 10,000, Gwen, Ken, Lumi, Hope, Devin, and Gwendolyn celebrate their grandfather's 80th birthday.

Ben 10,000, "happy birthday Grandpa."

Future Max, "the greatest gift I've gotten today, is seeing my family work together again."

Suddenly, they get a message from Ultimos!

Ultimos, "Ben, there is danger in Sector 5, we thought we'd contact you so you could handle it?"

But for the first time in years, he decides to take the day off and enjoy it with Grandpa Max.

Ben 10,000, "actually guys, it's my Grandpa's birthday. I'm gonna spend it with my family. Why don't you guys handle it?"

Ultimos, "really?! Er, thank you! Ultimos out!"

The transmission ends.

Gwen turned to Gwendolyn and said, "now I know why you brought us here. To help him lose the attitude."

Gwendolyn, "right. I knew you guys would be able to knock that attitude out of him. I suggest you enjoy your Ben and his goofy antics. We may never know how time will change you. Now, it's time I send you three home."

Gwendolyn starts opening the portal back home.

Ben, "wait! You never told me the secrets of the watch! How I don't have to go, Ben!"

Ben 10,000, "trust me, you're gonna want to go Ben. Thanks for making me realize that. Here: take this."

Ben 10,000 gives Ben a cube to take home.

Ben, "what is it?"

Ben 10,000, "it's something we should have done twenty the years ago…."

And with that, Ben, Gwen and Hope walk through the portal back to the past.

When they leave, they hear three others arrive.

"Did we miss the party?"

Devin, "dad!"

Lumi and Ken, "mom!"

Devin ran to his father: a grownup and unmutated Kevin Levin! Future Kevin, or Kevin 11,000 was wearing a black jacket over a white shirt and dark blue pants. He hugged his son, and kissed Gwendolyn as she stepped forward.

Lumi and Ken both ran to their mother; a grown-up Hope!

Future Hope wore an outfit mostly the same as her original one, but with a darker color, the tips of her long silver hair dyed purple, a black tattoo of a charm on her neck and a large brimmed fedora.

She hugged her kids as Ben 10,000 stepped forward.

Hope, "so, what did we miss?"

Ben 10,000, "it's a long story hon. Let's just say, it gave me an attitude adjustment."

Hope smiled and said, "best thing I've heard all day."

The two kiss as we see Max embracing an alien woman with tiel skin and three purple eyes.

Who was this woman?

Well that would be spoilers, wouldn't it?

Ben 10,000, "now, what say we call all of our friends for this party? Make it a great one for Grandpa!"

The others all agreed, happy that their Ben had changed for the better.

….

Max, "kids? Kids!"

Suddenly, the kids appear behind him. Hope and Gwen both hug Max, giving him a pleasant surprise as he hugs them back.

Ben then activates the cube and reveals a birthday cake.

Ben, "um, we got you this. Happy birthday Grandpa!"

Max smiles as the group celebrates the very happy occasion….

Monkey D- Conan: thanks. Glad you're so excited. But as for how Ben and Kai's "romance" will play out; mostly the same as canon, just with Hope being jealous. But I will never, EVER, do the misunderstanding cliche. I HATE that cliche. I hated it in Shrek. I hated it in Pair of Kings. I hated it in everything it appeared in. Hope won't fake disinterest. If anything, she'll be very open with Gwen about her feelings for Ben.

Amit Barabi: Ben deactivated it on purpose, unlike canon. Since he wanted to try and make sure Vilgax and Kevin wouldn't get the full power of the watch. Plus, if Ben had Master Control for most of the series, he'd be OP and it'd get boring quick.

Omnicaster: thanks. Ben and Hope won't get engaged until they're adults. Some time in Ultimate Alien. Remember, They're still kids at this point.

Guest: yep. Season 2 is done, and Season 3 has begun. And changes are on the way! I'm glad you liked my changes regarding Kevin in this chapter. Glad you're excited for more.

Since we get a glimpse at the future, we also get some changes.

Such as the return of Ben's son Ken, and my OC, Lumi, Ben's Nechrofriggian daughter.

It's 25 years later, rather than just 20.

In this future, Ken is 10, Devin is 11, (heh), while Lumi is 19, (she ages a little fast at first, and will age normally when she reaches 10.)

Max turns 55, rather than 60.

We get to see Kevin and Devin in this future, which gives hope that Ben and Gwen will save Kevin, which will play a role in my version of the Negative Ten.

We get to see Hope as well, as a teaser for more of Ben x Hope.

And we get some of the aliens from Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and Omniverse, to throw in a little continuity.
