A/N: Well, here it is. The final chapter of "Save Emma" I really hope you like it!

Chapter 11

Epilogue

Emma paced nervously in front of the fire, her stomach in knots as her mind raced, the fire warming her naked skin.

"Emma, please, come back to bed." Regina said softly, shifting slightly as she propped herself up to see Emma better, the sheets falling, exposing her bare breasts to the cold chill in the room.

"I can't sleep right now, Regina. I'm too nervous." Emma said, resuming her pacing. "I don't know how you can sleep right now. How are you not a nervous wreck too?" Emma asked, stopping long enough to glare at her Wife, calmly laying in their shared bed.

"I've done this already, remember?" Regina said.

"Yeah, like a thousand years ago." Emma snapped, resuming her pacing.

"I'm going to pretend you didn't just insinuate that I was over a thousand years old." Regina laughed. "Everything is going to be fine. I promise."

"How can you be so certain?" Emma asked, her nerves getting the better of her.

"Because I know you, Emma. And I know you can do anything you put your mind to." Regina said, slowly climbing out of bed.

"Emma Swan, maybe. But not me. Not singing Princess Emma." Emma said, continuing her nervous pacing.

"Emma. Stop." Regina said, wrapping her arms around Emma from behind, their naked bodies pressing against each other. "You're going to be fine. I know you are." She whispered, kissing the back of Emma's neck softly, the closeness causing Emma to relax instantly.

"I hope you're right." Emma whispered, leaning her head back onto Regina's shoulder.

"I know I'm right." Regina whispered. "Now come back to bed. You need to sleep." Regina said, leading Emma back to bed.

"You'll be there, the entire time, right? You won't leave me?" Emma asked, her voice still nervous, as they settled back into bed. Regina immediately wrapped her arms and legs around Emma.

"I'll be by your side the entire time." Regina whispered, assuring Emma. A few minutes later Emma was asleep. It was a restless sleep, but sleep nonetheless.

The next morning went by in a flash, as their servants brought their breakfast before helping them into their dresses for the day, lacing up the corsets. Emma blinked and suddenly, she was being ushered out of their chambers, making their way to the throne room, where they were to meet Queen Snow. She was pretty sure she was going to throw up, and if it wasn't for Regina's strong hand clutching her own tightly, keeping her grounded, she would have run away hours ago.

As they made their way closer to the grand throne room, the figure of a grown man came into focus, waiting just outside the large doors, dressed in his best, a sword strapped to his hip.

"Hey Moms!" Twenty-five year old Henry said, walking towards them to greet them with huge hugs. "Did you get any sleep last night?" He asked Emma.

"A little." Emma said quietly, trying to hold back a yawn.

"It took some convincing, but I eventually convinced her to settle down and get a few hours of sleep." Regina said, squeezing Emma's hand tightly.

"I figured as much." Henry laughed, turning his attention back to Emma. "Are you ready?" He asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be…I guess…" Emma said, her voice nervous again.

"Ok. I'll let Grandma know. I'll see you both inside." Henry smiled, hugging them both one last time, before disappearing down the hall and into a small room at the end.

Emma was certain she was going to throw up, as the familiar sound of Queen Snow's voice could be heard through the partially opened door. A moment later, the doors flew open, signaling Regina and Emma's cue to enter the throne room, which was filled to capacity with people.

Queen Snow stood before the crowd, Henry standing next to her, as Emma and Regina slowly walked down the aisle, their long cloaks trailing behind them in an elegant train, stopping just in front of Snow and Henry.

"Today is a very special day for me. Not only as a Queen but as a mother." Snow began to say, addressing the crowd. "Two years ago we lost my Husband, King David. For two long years we have mourned him, and after careful consideration, I have decided that my reign as Queen has come to an end. My heart will never recover from the loss of my Husband, and this kingdom deserves a Queen who will devote her entire life to it and the people under her rule. That is why, I have decided to abdicate my throne to our heir, my daughter Princess Emma, and her Wife of fifteen years, Regina." The crowd went wild with shouts of excitement at Queen Snow's announcement.

The next fifteen minutes were a blur, as Emma and Regina knelt in front of Snow and Henry, and promised to always protect and serve their kingdom.

"It's time, My Love." Regina whispered, pulling Emma from her fog. "It's time to become the Queen."

Emma looked up to see Snow pulling a crown from the wooden box Henry held, holding in above Emma's head.

"I crown thee, Queen Emma." Snow said, as she lowered the crown onto Emma's head, before turning back to Henry to retrieve the second crown. "I crown thee, Queen Regina." She said, placing the second crown onto Regina's head, their eyes meeting for a moment, both remembering the first time Regina was crowned Queen, a scared teenager. This time would be different.

"Rise, and stand before your subjects." Snow said, as Emma and Regina moved in unison to stand and face the crowd of people.

"I now present to you, my mothers…" Henry said, speaking for the first time since meeting them outside the grand doors. "Queen Emma and Queen Regina of The Enchanted Forest! LONG MAY THEY REIGN!"

"LONG MAY THEY REIGN!" The crowd shouted, as Emma and Regina made their way past Henry and Snow, standing for a moment in front of their new thrones, before turning towards the crowd once again.

"See, I knew you could do anything you put your mind to." Regina whispered, as she grabbed Emma's hand once again.

"When you're by my side, I can conquer anything." Emma whispered, squeezing Regina's hand.

"I promise, I will always be right here next to you, Your Majesty." Regina smiled.

"I'm holding you to that, Your Majesty." Emma laughed, leaning in to kiss her Wife softly, before they sat down together, officially taking their position as Queens of The Enchanted Forest.
