Chapter 13

"SORCERER FIGHT! COME WATCH IT NOW!"

"My gods, is that guy part banshee or something?" muttered Geto. However, curiosity got the better of him, along with everyone else. They went running to where Suiryu was standing, yet he made certain no one went beyond where he stood. "So, who are you beating up this time?" asked Geto.

He smiled and shook his head. "I'm not the one fighting… but she is…"

Geto peered pass Suiryu, he froze and saw her standing defiantly before him. Sukuna!

"Are you out of your mind!? She just had a baby!" Geto protested.

"I didn't think you would be that worried!" Suiryu laughed. "Trust me on this, it will be a quick fight,"

He didn't understand what he meant by that. Geto is aware as to how strong Yua is, but to go against Sukuna… even if he isn't at full power he's still a threat! "This… this isn't right…" Geto said and shook his head to it all.

"Look papa, look!" He jumped as Toji was dragged along by five children. It took him rather aback to see them. "Look Papa, Yua is going to show how strong she is!"

"Yeah!" the others cheered.

"Are they foolish?" Geto muttered to Toji. "Do they not know…"

"We're well aware as to who Sukuna is," said one of the boys. He was just an inch taller than his brothers. And yet, he spoke the most… perhaps he is the oldest. "We are not stupid, mortal. We know all about him… but, we also know he stands no chance against Yua."

This startled him, so did Toji. He suddenly took a seat as the kids began to fight over who got to sit on his lap… in the end, the five managed to cram themselves on there!

Geto took a seat next to them. "What do you mean by that?"

The oldest smirked, damn he has his father's smirk! "Mother always told us that a Tooru is never to be underestimated. As well, despite what you see now, is nothing compared to the true power she possesses. Mother favors her too…" he explained. "But even if she didn't… Sukuna has no idea…" he giggled along with his siblings.

"Yeah, I don't get it either," came out of Suiryu. "Either way, someone has to be a referee for this shit…" he excused himself and went to the battleground. There he sent Gojo off, but he wanted to stay and it appeared he offered to fight in Yua's place. But Sukuna refused such a notion. He wants to fight Yua.

"Look, I know she has gotten stronger since having Shin. But… this isn't setting my mind at ease…" Geto muttered.

"She will be fine,"

Geto paused as Choso took a seat, in his arms he held Shin but kept a close eye. His brothers formed a protective ring around him, just to be safe than sorry. "Yua has yet to show what she can truly do, no doubt she has had a build up of power over the years. Consider how she fought a curse that should have killed her for years, how could a sorcerer do such a thing?"

"She had a dragon in her at the time!" Geto protested.

"Doesn't matter." Said Toji's daughter… which one he didn't know. "If a curse is inflected before possession it would have killed her, even if it was half a curse, it should have killed her considering the one who casted it. To better explain, if the same thing happened to Satoru Gojo… he would have died in three days."

This… was news to him.

"Have faith in Yua." Choso said gently. "I think she will surprise us all."

'What the hell am I thinking!?' Yua wanted to scold herself at this point, she AGREED to fight Sukuna?! WHY!

Sukuna on the other hand was grinning… even his demonic mouth on his stomach was too! "Let me fight in her place!" Gojo insisted. "Come on, we didn't get that good of a battle the last time, so come on!"

"Denied," Sukuna said firmly. "I want to face her. It's been over a thousand years since I last faced a Tooru… I want to know if they got better at their craft."

"Satoru, go join the others, be aware I won't let anything happen to Yua. Not on my watch." Suiryu vowed.

Gojo was worried, he turned to Yua but she nodded to him. "I got this,"

He sighed with defeat and went to join the others. "Now then, I am going to allow Sukuna to obtain a good chunk of his original power for the sake of argument. In fact, he's going to get it all back…"

"What…" Yua asked in disbelief.

Sukuna was cracking his knuckles at this point. "At last…"

"It's just to prove a point Yua, he can't make an excuse afterwards when his ass is beaten black and blue."

"What are you saying knock off!?"

He sighed aloud, Suiryu put out his hand. "With curse energy, you are both going to strike my hand as hard as you can. With every ounce of strength you have. Go,"

Sukuna didn't hesitate; he struck Suiryu's hand as hard as he could. Suiryu didn't flinch or was pushed back!

Yua did the same thing, but same reaction from Suiryu.

"Okay then, rules, to the first blood. But that doesn't mean I don't want to see him lose a tooth or two, broken bones and what not Yua, you do know you can break those and it doesn't count as first blood unless the bone breaks the skin…"

"Suiryu!" she said in disgusted tone.

He then turned to Sukuna. "Try and make this last, there's nothing on TV today."

His smile dropped rather quickly. "I don't care for the mind games, knockoff"

Suiryu looked him dead in the eyes and said. "If I were playing mind games with you, I would do A LOT worst than what was just said." He turned to Yua. "You… you have been held back for so long… you're about to erupt. It's a good thing he is challenging you now rather than later… you would accidently kill him."

Yua… froze.

"What do you…"

"Get in positions." Suiryu interrupted her before she could finish. They stepped back and away from each other as Suiryu stood between them. "Now, as mentioned, this is the fight of first blood, the first to bleed loses. As well, whatever your power is at it's maximum… will be permitted… just so there are no excuses later!" Suiryu stated but he directed the last comment to Sukuna!

Still, why does he think she can defeat him?

She took a deep breath once more, then, focused on her energy.

Yua… has never felt like this before…

She knows she was a strong sorcerer before she gained Ryujin after absorbing half a killing curse into herself. Yet, she has never had the opportunity to go all out before.

In fact, she heard a voice in hear ear…

'Unleash it all, child… show them'

She swore it sounded like the ancestor from her dreams. But, a new sense of confidence came over her. She started surging!

Suiryu was grinning from ear to ear, Sukuna however, not to be outdone, began to follow suit. He too also unleashed his energy… but Yua saw it was far different than hers.

"SORCERERS… FIGHT!"

He vanished.

Sukuna moved too fast to be seen, and yet, Yua wasn't bothered by it, she suddenly move to her left as a fist came down and struck where she just stood, she then moved fast herself, come in under the king of curses and landed a single shot to his chest.

"GAH!" he was able to pull back before the full punch could be felt, and yet, he was already wounded?

Even he was startled by it, but the sneer that followed… he was determined to not let it happen again!

He moved faster.

And yet…

Yua tried to understand it, but her curse energy… it clashed with Sukuna's. Despite how fast he moved, she knew where he was at all times! Was her energy that much different?

OOF!

"YUA!"

She took a shot right to the stomach, Yua was thrown back and stumbled across the earth, but didn't bleed. Oddly, that punch didn't hurt as much as she thought it would. She brushed it off and smirked. "I've had period cramps hit harder than you!"

"BAHAHAHA!" laughed Suiryu. "Oh man, that's a good one!"

But Sukuna wasn't laughing, he came at her harder and faster than before… and yet she was prepared for it. Despite his four arms, Yua was able to counter his attack with ease somehow! Her strikes were also getting stronger, harder to block and dodge.

Then Sukuna slipped up, he was summoning his curse energy once more when Yua saw an opening. She went in, made a dead leap from where she was and struck him once in the face!

He stumbled back but was ready to attack once more, when his curse energy was cut off!

"GAME SET AND MATCH!" Suiryu called out.

"What!?" Sukuna roared… until he felt the trickle from his nose. He was bleeding!

"Impossible…" he whispered and inspected the blood. "This… this is all impossible! If I had my domain!"

"No excuses, you were at full power. Yua had no idea how strong she was, so the fault lies within you. YOU challenged HER, right?"

He was silent on the matter. Sukuna said nothing but sneered as he realized, everyone saw him get defeated. There was nothing left to say, so he took his leave.

Yua on the other hand, stared at her hands oddly. "That was impossible, I have to agree with him on that."

Suiryu smirked to her. "Yua… did you forget something?" he asked oddly of her.

"What do you mean?"

"A sorcerer's growth depends on life or death situations correct? How long were you on the cusp of death after taking on half a killing curse?" he asked as his smile continued to grow.

She froze to the question. "Suiryu… I don't…"

"You were always on the brink of death, when you gained Ryujin. That curse wasn't going to dispel, and you weren't going to die until Ryujin was safe. How much willpower do you think it took for you to fend off something like that?"

"But Ryujin…"

"Couldn't do anything, and remember, he lost most of his energy from being sealed for a thousand years. This was your strength, Yua. And you were also brought back from death. When that happens to a sorcerer… you bet your ass they are going to be a LOT stronger than before!"

She froze to his decree, but this still didn't feel right in Yua's mind. Something… something else is going on.
