Chapter 15

"No, the fountain needs to be HERE!"

"You, over there, move the table an inch to the left,"

Suiryu sat back and watched on, of course he wouldn't have the eye to create such a perfect wedding. So, that's why he brought in D'angelo and his crew.

It was rather funny the moment he brought him to the domain, it was the first time he had ever been in it. Yet, the moment D'angelo saw what was created, his mouth dropped. "Oh… my… GOD!" he announced. "This place, it's HUGE!"

"Nice little bug out base if I do say so myself." Suiryu said rather proudly. "But besides, that, let me show you around." He gave him a quick tour and explained where he wanted to have the wedding. "We like this nice open field, Yuuji liked to come and sunbathe here when he was going through his dragon phase, but I think this would be enough room for everyone, right?"

D'angelo nodded. It was a nice open space, the ground even and firm so they wouldn't have to do much work. However there was something else. "How many are coming?"

Suiryu paused to consider it. "Well, at least everyone here, including the students so that's about 150, mom is coming and bringing nine guests, I don't know who they are but they are also coming…"

"Lady… Lady Tiamat is attending?"

"She's my mother, of course she is!" he protested.

Suddenly, D'angelo slapped the sides of his face, getting himself hyped up. "Okay then, let's do this." With the snap of his fingers, he expelled divine energy. "If you are available to assist, can you please help me with this task. Suiryu is getting married and we need to set up the venue…" he didn't even finish.

In a burst of light they appeared. Over 100 divine creatures, familiars to D'angelo.

"Oh thank you everyone!" he said with great sincerity, he even lowered his head to them all!

"Ooo best part about this, no one here is doing any heavy lifting!" Suiryu said with great pride. He then clapped his hands in a very annoying manner. "MAN SERVANT!" he shouted.

The divine familiars froze as he came over.

Sukuna sneered at him. "What is it now!"

"We are setting up today, oh, just so you don't step on anyone…" Suiryu put up his hand, as a blinding flash of light was shot into Sukuna's face!

"GAH! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR YOU KNOCKOFF! I…" he froze.

He stared blankly ahead and then pointed oddly. "Who the hell are they?!"

"Good, you can see them, divine creatures. They are helping us set up. But you get to do all the labour intensive stuff! For example, we need to put down some floor paneling to ensure no one trips on the dirt or get messy. So your first task is to lay the floor here!"

"It's the ground… why do we need to put flooring on the ground!?" he protested.

"Because, I want to make sure everyone can dance and sit in comfort without staining their clothing, it's a wedding not a mosh pit. So get started, we can't go forward until the floor is in!"

Suiryu smiled as the divine watched in aw and horror as Sukuna did as he was told.

"By the way darling, Nobara's dress is going to be absolutely stunning. Dare I say it's Archie's best work."

"Oh, Archie made the dress?"

D'angelo smiled and nodded proudly. "My God, I cannot wait to see you see her in that dress, I am doing the photos too."

"Of course you are," Suiryu said as his chest continued to puff out proudly. "I never thought this day would happen for me…"

D'angelo smirked. "Really? After I've seen SO many women hit on you?" he asked in a teasing tone.

Suiryu forced a smile. "I only wanted her."

This got D'angelo's attention. "I got to know the story to this, don't get me wrong, Nobara has a beauty about her that is so natural in a sense. But still, why her?"

He paused to consider it, Suiryu couldn't quite explain it, but it was as if he knew her all this time. "Perhaps this is Yuuji's memories talking here, but… just the way she acts, she knows who she is and is proud of it. She was the first woman I really saw besides the ones trying to kill me in a room full of talismans, but that's in the past." He said offhandedly. "But the moment, I laid eyes on her. I knew she had to be my wife. No matter what, no matter who came before me or what woman who tried to catch my interest… it had to be her or no one at all."

"Oh my God, you have it BAD for her!" D'angelo snickered. "Not to worry, your special day will go off without a hitch and I will make sure you both sparkle and shine!"

"I appreciate that, and I know I am in the best of hands. Oh, that reminds me." Suiryu reached over and stuck out his hand. "Let me grab your wrist for a moment."

Uncertain, D'angelo did what was asked of him. Suiryu grabbed his wrist as a small surge went through him and then, a marking appeared.

Sukuna paused from his task as he suddenly felt his collar around his neck. He turned and glared at Suiryu who pointed to D'angelo. "He can command you now too until the wedding is over and everything is put away… have fun!"

Since then, D'angelo made certain Sukuna worked his ass off!

The flooring was put in within a day. The second day was the set up and small stage, third the arrangements. D'angelo kept second guessing himself as to where to put the fountain he wanted as a center piece. Much to cringe of the king of curses.

"Just pick a spot and be done with it!"

"You have no eye for this, so be quiet!" D'angelo was oddly fearless of him, perhaps he has full trust in Suiryu's power or he is just that feisty. Suiryu would never know, but at the same time. He had to get ready himself.

Archie called for him to do a fitting for his suit. But he had to wait a while since Nobara was getting her dress adjusted and there is NO peeking aloud.

As much as he would want to see her in the dress beforehand, he knows better than to steal her thunder.

She would cancel the wedding if he ever did that to her!
