Chapter 18

Yuuji watched from afar, however, he couldn't contain his grin as he saw the closest thing ever to Sukuna shitting himself!

He had no idea who his mom was!

Still, he would be cautious tonight, despite the number of people here, he still worried Kiyoshi would attempt to seek out Sukuna still. However, as of late, he's been oddly quiet. Since, the day after the concert, Suiryu told him he would speak with Kiyoshi. What they spoke about, he didn't know. He tried to ask Kiyoshi but he was too scared to even communicate.

For now, he let things be, since after all, Kiyoshi has not gone looking for Sukuna!

"This is rather extravagant isn't it?"

He jumped from his train of thought as Yuko peered about. Yuuji laughed a little nervously. "I'll ask D'angelo if he could do the same for us… I got to do this right… right?" he said and smiled a little nervously.

Yuko playfully shoved him. "We could just get married the regular way. Papa has always wanted to walk me down the isle, in fact… well… he was wondering why we haven't made arrangements yet."

Message received!

"We will talk with Papa about this, I promise we will have a wedding." He vowed. Yuuji then paused as he peered about. "Where's Kiyoshi?"

She smiled and pointed.

Kiyoshi had approached Toji's children, the sons however were instantly drawn to him. "You're big brother's son? So he won't eat us!?"

It got a good snickering out of the people around them, but the question was quite serious!

"Papa doesn't eat family," Kiyoshi insisted.

"Wanna play?"

"Okay!"

The five ran off with Kiyoshi to find something to do. He was rather stunned that Toji's children took his son into the fold so quickly. But at the moment he couldn't be happier to see that, his son needs friends, and if they can provide him with such, he could only be happy.

"Yuuji, who are those ladies with your brothers?" Yuko whispered.

He paused before realizing she was right, there were some young and yet lovely looking ladies around his brothers. But the then sensed his connection. "My, this is a little awkward…" he snickered. "My mortal brothers… are hanging out with my dragon sisters."

Yuko gasped but then smiled. "Look at them though…"

He peered at his brothers, he found all nine of them, including Junpei had a smile on their face. The sisters were also smiling and giggling as well, they were getting along great! "I wonder why mom brought them. We haven't really been introduced either… but, I also think mom is hiding them too…"

"Oh, right, the other dragons aren't shall we say… courteous." Yuko asked discreetly.

He nodded. "I don't think they have ever been treated well by a male before. The brothers are very well mannered to begin with, as well they know not to push boundaries or anything either." At the same time, he was strange for his mother to bring the sisters.

Or is this a set up!?

"Yuuji?"

"Uh… I am starting to suspect mom is trying to hook them up," he whispered.

Yuko gasped, but then smiled. "I think that's wonderful," she whispered back.

Suddenly, there were whispers.

Peering behind him, Yuuji saw Yua and Gojo sensei appear. But Yua looked amazing! She wore a sleek red dress that sparkled, however she kept it covered with a shawl. Shin was in her arms as Gojo sensei dressed rather well himself.

"Whoa, she looks amazing…" he heard Geto mutter.

"Indeed, but I think she is trying to hide that with the shawl, she doesn't want to steal Nobara's thunder." Nanami replied.

When Yua appeared, she suddenly got the attention of the sisters. They were quick to excuse themselves as they rushed to her. "Yua? Yua Tooru?!" they asked.

She was taken aback but nodded.

Gojo was quick to take Shin from her when the sisters suddenly clamoured over her! "You… You saved Ryujin!" they wept. "You tried to protect him as best you could, he broke him free from his prison, and still you put his life before yours!"

They sung her praises as to how well she tried to maintain Ryujin, he was their brother after all. Yua even got emotional!

"What's with all the clucking?"

"Suiryu!" protested Yuko.

"I kid, I kid, but seriously, why are they all crying?" he whispered to Yuuji.

"You would have to ask them. I think it's the sisters showing Yua appreciation for what she did, and Yua being acknowledged for what she sacrificed."

"Good summery." Yuko said. "Yua has been through a lot too, hasn't she?"

"She died the first time… saving me from Sukuna."

"Don't remind me brat…" Sukuna happened to have been walking by when he heard that, he didn't add to it but continued on his way. It was strange though, from the corner of his eye, Yuuji saw mom watching him carefully. He wondered if perhaps she has something to say to him. After all, he came after Ryujin and nearly got him killed before…

"Well, I think we need to get this show on the road, Nobara texted me she's ready… Oh… How could I forget?! Be right back!" Suiryu vanished.

"How…"

"Dragons can travel fast, if they have been somewhere once before we can go back instantly…"

"What?! How did … where am I?!"

There was an older woman next to Suiryu, she appeared rather clueless to what was going on, let alone why she was among so many people here… in common clothing. "Grandma, I couldn't have you miss this!" Suiryu said. "You can sit next to my mom during the wedding…"

The older woman froze. "Huh?" she asked with utter confusion. "You only got permission a few months ago… you're getting married NOW?!"

"You ain't going to be around forever, and you said you wanted to be there when the grandbabies come. I'm making sure you get that experience…" Suiryu said with a rather twisted grin on his face. "I'll try every day if I have to…"

"Oh God…" Yuuji muttered with embarrassment.

"And yet, I am not really shocked…" Yuko said with a grin.

Suiryu then clapped his hands. "Everyone, we are going to get ready now! The bride has finished her preparations!"

They went to the seating area. Suiryu stood at the alter, at the ready. Officiating the wedding was Kitsune of all people! But Yuuji was glad to see her there.

Nobara made a grand entrance as always, believe it or not it was Gojo sensei who walked her down the isle! Suiryu's best man was actually Junpei. Yuuji approved of that though since he was asked before hand. However, Suiryu was conflicted at the time. "No offence, we do everything together, I was actually thinking about having Junpei be best man… or Megumi…"

He convinced him to pick Junpei.

The ceremony was short and sweet. Kitsune did a basic speech and Suiryu and Nobara gave their own. It was funny when Kitsune called. "If there is anyone here who objects to these two getting married, speak now or forever hold your peace!"

Everyone turned and stared at Sukuna.

He said nothing, he merely glared at them before turning away rather bitterly.

Nobara's grandma on the other hand…

"Oh right I didn't tell grandma about my new pet huh?" Suiryu said, everyone laughed aloud but he assured grandma it was all good. "If you have any worries, my mom is just over there next to Yua."

That… didn't help things either, especially after she learned it was Lady Tiamat!
