Bungle in the Jungle
Amazon rainforest
In the jungle of Amazon, it was pouring rain and the lightning is coming from the storm. Lizard, sat on the tree, watches the egg capsule as it falls off from embed rock and floats in the river and hits rocks in river, causing to open it to reveal a card inside. The rain causes the card to glow and turn into a large sauropod called Saltasaurus, that growls at it. A lizard looked at it and hissed at it.

In the sunset at Zeta Point
"A dinosaur! The alpha scanner has detected a dinosaur, so let's get a move on!" Dr. Z said excitedly.
"Yeah, give us a minute. So I guess it's my move, right?" Ursula said to Zander. Dr. Z sees them playing chess while Ed eating his snack.
"Yes it still is. I thought you said chess is a game of quick decisions." Zander said while straightening his hair.
"Yes, but I meant for you, not for me. What am I supposed to do when all of your men are surrounding my beautiful queen?" Ursula look down her last chess piece.
"Don't worry, cause no matter what you do, you're gonna lose anyway" Ed ate his snack while snickering.
"Hey, who asked you?!" She retorted while snatching his snack.
"Hello?! Am I talking to myself here?! I need you three bozos to go out on the mission now!" Dr. Z shouted at the trio.
"Right away, sir! Your fearless leader stands before you ready for duty!" Ursula said to Dr. Z and kicked the table makng the chess pieces scattered on the floor leaving Ursula's chess piece standing on board when Zander quickly hold the chess board.
"How'd she do it?" Ed said.
"Incredible" Zander said back.
"Well, look at that, I won!" She said in glee.
In the sunset at Max's house
Max ran down the stairs and hide in the closet while Zoe, Rex, and Terran walked in his house seeing him hiding in his closet.
"Uh hey, Max. What are you doing in the closet?" Rex asked Max.
"Quiet, I'm testing out Chomp's sense of smell." Max tells them.
"How come?" He questions.
"Cuz it's fun, I'm trying to hide from him to see if he's got a good enough nose to find me" Max chuckles. "Quiet, here he comes." He close the closet door.
Chomp comes down the stairs, sniffing his scent.
"What's up, Chomp. Are you looking for something?" Rex asked Chomp.
Chomp ran to the closet, sniffing the door. He's clawing on the door.
"Hey way to go. You found me, good job." As Max tried to give him hug, Chomp dashed in the closet and pulls out a bag of dog food. "Wait, you smell dog food" he said.
Rex and Zoe giggled while Terran looked on. "Good nose. At least he'll never go hungry." Rex said.
"That's right, looks like your smell test was a success. "said Zoe.
"Yeah, he'll always be able to find me as long as I smell like dog food." Max held a dog food with Chomp biting a bag.
Max is smelling something. "Speaking of smells," Max went over to the kitchen. "Hamburgers! My most favorite meal of all time! Your hamburgers are the best, mom! Don't mind if I do?" Just as he's about take one, Max's mom takes the plate of hamburgers away from him.
"Nice try, you know you have to wait until dinner time." She said.
"Just one please mom, please." Max begged.
"You have to wait for everyone else." Aki said.
"I'll take to my room and eat it." Max said again.
"No, Max." She said again.
Zoe, Rex, and Terran watches Max begging his mom for hamburgers.
"Is your friend always like this?" Terran asked.
"Well yeah, when it comes to food, Max and Chomp are just alike." She replied.
"Yeah" said Rex.
The alarm goes off from their dino holder and control bracer. They pulled it out and the red dot locates in South America.
The D-lab
The D-team and Terran arrives at the D-Lab.
"The signal was coming from the jungles of the amazon." said Reese, locates the dinosaur.
"The Amazon?" Terran asked.
"The Amazon, the world's largest rainforest home to countless exotic plants and animals." Dr. Taylor said. "Oh boy, What I wouldn't give to be able to come along." He said, holding his supplies and backpack.
"You say that every time, dad. But you can't." Max reminded him
"Leave everything to us, Dr. Taylor." Rex added.
"Well, all right then. Now listen, take this for insect bites, use this in case of stomach ache, use this one for snake bites, and this is to keep piranhas away and this one is in case of bad breath." Dr. Taylor gave repellants and medicines for in case of going to Amazon.
"Oh, thanks, Dad" Max thanks his father.
"We better get going Max or the Alpha Gang's gonna get there before us" Zoe said they held the dino holder.
"Yeah, good point. Okay gotta Dad." Max said.
"You kids be careful now." Dr. Taylor said as they were teleported to the Amazon Rainforest, the treatments didn't get teleported with them.
"Augh! All of the treatment didn't transport. Maybe I'd go w- " Dr. Taylor cut off when Reese interrupted him.
"They fine. Chomp, Terran, and the others will protect them," Reese said assures Dr. Taylor.
"Not from bad breath," Dr. Taylor slumped his head.
Amazon rainforest in South America
The D-team and Terran arrived in middle of rainforest with mist covering the area.
"Which way to the dinosaur?" said Max, stepping forwards a bit.
Unknownst to anyone, Chomp is wandering and become lost in the jungle.
"Well the transporter puts us in general area, but it doesn't tell which way." Rex explained, not knowing where they landed in.
"Hear anything, Paris?" Zoe asked Paris, who shook her head in response.
"Can't seem to navigate through this moist climate in this area, so its best to stay together." Terran noted.
"Remember, this could be a dangerous jungle so be careful-" Max yelped in surprise as he slips on mudslide and land on the puddle of water.
"Max?!" Terran called out.
"You all right?" Rex asked him.
Max groaned and flips over himself. "Yeah, see what I mean." proves his point while wiping his face.
"Needs some help?" Zoe asked as they slide down the mudslide while Terran jumps down.
"Could've been worse. At least you didn't land on quicksand." Rex said.
"That cliff should have a warning sign on it." Max said. "Hey, where's Chomp?" Noticing Chomp is not with them.
"Huh?" Rex said.
"That's weird. I know he was with us when we transported in." Zoe remembered.
"He was, Zoe. He must have wandering in the jungle without any of us noticing." said Terran.
"Chomp! Are you out there?! Can you hear me?" Max called out to Chomp.
Chomp is wandering in jungle as the butterfly landed on his nose and flies away with Chomp following.
"We're were never gonna find him in this place. Poor Chomp." Max moaned.
"You know what, Max. Maybe Chomp still playing hide and seek." said Rex.
"Playing what?" He asked and remembered.
"That's right. He probably thinks it's your turn to find him now." Zoe added.
"This isn't a good place for him to be running around alone." Rex stated.
"I know you don't think I know that! You gotta help me find them!" Max exclaimed as he's very worried about Chomp. "Come on" He ran as his friends follow him to look for Chomp.
"Chomp!" They said.
"How am I ever gonna find Chomp in this Amazon?" Max said. "Wait, the dino holder should locate him." He press the button on dino holder, but nothing happen. "It's dead. It must have gotten wet." He groaned. "Chomp! Where are you?! Come on! Chomp, come out now!" Max shouted out as he aimlessly wandered into the jungle.
"Any luck?" Rex asked.
"No" Zoe replied. "Hey Rex, where'd Max go?" noticing Max hasn't got back.
"What? What do you mean? I thought he was with you." He said back.
"No" she said.
"Terran, is Max with you?" he said
"What are you talking about? I thought he was with you, Rex." He said.
" Where are you, Max?!" Rex shouted out.
"Say something, Max?!" Zoe shouted out.
"Max?! Chomp?!" Terran yelled.
"Great! Now we lost both! This trip is disaster!" Rex exclaimed.
"Let's make sure Paris, Ace, and Wisp don't get lost in this jungle." Zoe suggested.
"Good idea, let's keep them in their cards" said Rex. They nodded. Paris, Ace, and Wisp turned back into a card and put inside the dino holder while Terran put his card on his card holder on his waist. They heard a roar in the jungle.
"Let's go" Rex said as they follow the sound of roar.
Out on distant jungle
A blimp is floating with oars on each side is stroking and it turned the Alpha gang is stroking above the Amazon, looking for the dinosaur.
"Stroke!, Stroke!, and Stroke! Come on, you two. At this rate, a dinosaur will be extinct again before we find it." Ursula ordered Zander and Ed while they row. "Pull that oar and let's go, guys! I'm helping as much as I can!"
"Uh.. Maybe you could help a little less?" Ed strained to pull the oar.
"Ah one spiky-backed Saltasaurus straight ahead!" Zander spots a dinosaur.
"Really?" She asked. The Saltasaurus is walking through the jungle from the distance. "My, my, that's a good one too. Lucky I found him- Hmm, why haven't we landed yet? Get this gas bag on the ground! Ursula ordered.
"Right" They said.
"Hey, sounds like she wants to land in the hurry." Ed said smugly.
"We better give the admiral what she wants" Zander said as well.
"Yep, here goes" He said. They snickered as they let go of their oars.
"Uh-oh" She said freaked out. The blimp is falling down fast as the Alpha gang hold on their life. " Are you two nuts?! This is a rental!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah, it's on my card!" Zander yelled as they crashed down to the jungle.
"There's the dinosaur and it's up ahead." Terran spots the dinosaur.
"Yeah, and it's a Saltasaurus." Rex said.
"You're right, I can tell because it has all those bony plates on its back." Zoe noted.
"Yeah, lucky for us. It's a herbivore and not a meat-eater." He said.
"No kidding." She said.
The Saltasaurus turns around and walked towards them.
"Okay Ace, it's time to go to work." Rex said pulling out his dino holder.
"Uh-oh" said Zoe.
"Uh.. Rex!" said Terran.
"What?" He said. They moved out of its way. "Run for it!" He said to get away before it stomps on them. As the Saltasaurus stomps its to the jungle, a blue light appeared before it. It reveals Spiny in full-size to confront it.
Somewhere in the jungle, Max notice a battlefield has taken place. "What was that?" He said.
Back at the battle
"Haven't we seen that Spinosaurus before? Hmm, I remember." Rex said.
Ursula cackling. "I hope you didn't forget about us, need me to jog your memory. It's Ursula, Xander, and Ed. Hi," she said.
"The old lady again" Zoe said tiredly.
Ursula growled. "Would you stop calling me old?! I'm not old!" She yelled as Zander and Ed is holding her back.
"She said "bold lady", not old" Ed said holding her back.
"Right, bold strong brave" Zander said holding her back as well.
"Oh, all right then. Get in there Spiny and tear them all in pieces." she ordered Spiny.
Spiny roars at Saltasaurus, causing it roar back. Spiny jumps at Saltasaurus, but the dinosaur angles itself so that Spiny's jaws and face are deflected off its armor-plated back. Spiny lands on his feet on ground.
"Go! Hit him again" The Alpha Gang said.
"I don't think we want to put Paris, Wisp, and Ace out there." Rex said.
"What lousy time for Max to disappear." Zoe said in annoyance.
"Where did they go now?" Terran muttered.
Elsewhere in the jungle
"I can't find Chomp, I can't find the new dinosaur. I can't find me in this jungle without my dino holder." Max tried to get his dino holder work, but still nothing happen. "Why won't this dumb thing power up? Come on!" He said angrily, but moped. "Oh, It's hopeless. Oh man." His stomach is growling. "And now I'm starving, I wish I had a couple of those hamburgers. Chomp is probably hungry too wherever he is." He wonders his partner is hungry as he is. "Hey Chomp!" He calls out again.
Somewhere in the jungle
Chomp went exploring around the jungle. He looked up the trees until something is ambushing Chomp from the river. It misses Chomp as it revealed to be crocodile called a caiman. Chomp growled at it and the caiman lunges at Chomp.
Back to the battle
A flock of Birds fly away as Spiny and Saltasaurus is having a stare down. Spiny charges again, biting the Saltasaurus' neck, but he loses his footing, and Saltasaurus begins swinging him back and forth, finally slamming him into the ground. It then puts its head down and charges Spiny, impacting him with tremendous force.
"Wow! Incredible!" Rex said in amazement.
"It looks like Saltasaurus is gonna win!" Zoe said.
"No kidding." Terran said.
"Ursula, this not going well, throw in the towel." Zander said unamused.
"That thing is kicking Spiny's butt." Ed said as well.
"Thank you both of your confidence, but I have another card in my sleeve. Did you forget the special card that Dr. Z gave us?" Ursula pulls out a new move card.
"Oh yeah, that move card," Zander said.
"But you don't have sleeves," Ed said.
"It's just an expression you dimwits!" She yelled at them "Now quit wasting time, swipe that card and let's swipe that dinosaur!" Ursula tosses the move card to Zander.
Zander slash the move card on alpha scanner. "Go Spinosaurus! Tail Smash!"
Spiny roared and smack Saltasaurus face with his tail.
"Ah, Saltasaurus, move out!" Zoe yells at the dinosaur.
Spiny smacks its face two times and smacked away with powerful hit in third time, knocking the Saltasaurus down.
"No! Come on, get up!" Rex yells at the dinosaur as well.
"This battle is over. All right, Spiny finish it with one last shot. Go on!" Ursula ordered Spiny to finish it.
"You can do it!" Zander said.
Spiny look down at Saltasaurus and roared in victory.
Meanwhile...
Chomp is cornered by caiman by the river. He is waiting it to make a move. The caiman lunges at Chomp, but Chomp leap over it as the alligator hits the ground and bites the caiman's tail. Unfortunately, the alligator swung its tail to toss its prey to the tree, but Chomp recovers jumps over it again and ran away from it while the caiman watches.
Back with the battle
Saltasaurus is still down while Spiny is closer to finish it off. Spiny lunged at it, the dinosaur smack him away using his tail.
"I can't take the pressure anymore! Get in there, Spiny and finish it off!" Ursula said frustratedly.
"Umm.. Ursula" Zander said. having the alpha scanner beeping red.
"What?" She asked.
"This says his energy is low. Maybe he skipped breakfast." Zander said.
"The most important meal." said Ed.
"What are you talking about?!" Ursula said worriedly.
Spiny fell and turned back into a card.
"Hey, he turned back into a card." Rex said.
"It must be exhausted after it uses that move." Terran said.
"And look, the other guy's leaving." Zoe sees the dinosaur leaving.
"Oh no, let's go after it." said Rex.
"Right" They said.
The Alpha gang went to get Spiny card.
"What went wrong, Zander?" Ursula asked.
"Well, why don't ask Spiny himself?" Zander said as he slashed the card upward, make Spiny return to its chibi-sized behind Ed and bitten his leg.
"Yow! that's my leg! Stop it!" Ed yelled in pain while prying Spiny off of him.
"You see, he just needed a little breakfast." Zander laughs a bit.
"From now on, keep him well-fed" Ursula shouted.
"Aye, aye, Ursula!" They saluted.
"Those little brats haven't seen the last of me" She declared.
Back with Max still looking for Chomp
"Chomp, Where are you?! Answer me, Chomp!" Max walks down the river with his dino holder on top of visor, holding a leaf. "I feel like I've been looking for hours. I wonder if he's out looking for me too." He stops for a moment. "What if I never see him again."
He heard a rustling from a bush. "Hmm.. is that you, Chomp?" He checks the bush. "I've been looking all over for you! Come on out-uh" What he find was a lizard. "Ugh! never mind. Just a lizard." He heard a loud footsteps and it's getting louder. "Hey?" He look around saw the Saltasaurus above the trees. Max gets up and run.
"Ah! Why are you chasing me? You eat plants and I'm a boy made of meat!" Max screams while the dinosaur follows him.
"Where do you thinks its going" Rex asked.
"I don't know, but it looks like it's chasing something" Zoe replied.
"Help me! Someone?!" Max voiced is heard.
"Is that Max?" Zoe asked. They saw Max is somehow being chased by Saltasaurus.
"There's Max!" Terran sees him.
"Hey Max" Rex calls out to him.
Max looks back while running. "Hi!" He said.
"We need to get across this stream somehow." said Rex.
"That's not the only problem." said Zoe seeing the Alpha gang on the boat rowing on the stream.
"Not those guys again." Terran said.
The Alpha gang rent a rowboat to row on the stream.
"Row faster! Renting this rowboat was a good idea. Glad I thought of it." Sees the kids and Terran. "Oh look it's those kids and dork again. Why so glum? a creek without the paddle." She taunts them.
They jumped on the rowboat.
"Grab the oar, Zoe." Rex said as he grab Ed's head.
"Hey let go of my head!" Ed cried out.
"Sorry about that! We'll have to borrow your boat a little bits." said Terran.
"Why don't you all go jump in the lake?" She yelled at them.
"Technically, this would be called a stream." Zander corrects her while they row across the stream.
"You can have your boat back now. thanks for the ride" Zoe said they get off the rowboat.
"See ya" said Rex as they rowed away.
"Why me? I tried to be a good villain, they always set me up for a fall" Ursula muttered.
"A fall, a fall, a fall!" Ed repeated while pointing at something.
"Yes, I just said that..." she looked where Ed pointed at. "Uh-oh!"
"No, I mean a waterfall!" Ed yelled out in fear as they fell in the waterfall, screaming all the way down.
Back with max chased by Saltasaurus.
Max panted when he reached a cliff with no way out. "There's no place to run." he heard a roar coming from behind him as he turns around. "Oh no" He said. The lizard from before, hissing at it and the dinosaur hissing it with its tongue like it was imitating, then it roars in the air.
Chomp heard the roar, but caiman is back. Chomp is snarled at it.
As Saltasaurus closes in on Max and the lizard, Zoe, Rex and Terran comes see this.
"Oh no!" Rex said.
The Saltasaurus was looking around, but imitating the lizard's actions while Max was confused with dinosaur action.
"HEY, CHOMP!" Max once again yelled out for Chomp.
Hearing his partner voice, He charges the alligator as the caiman lunges at him. Instead of going over the alligator, he went under it and threw him over the river. He ran to where Max is.
"We gotta help him Zoe." said Rex.
"Should we call out our dinosaurs?" Zoe asked.
Chomp reaches him at the last moment.
"Huh" they see Chomp showed up.
"Chomp! It's you" Max said gladly as Chomp makes near him. "All right, now this better work." He pulls out his dino holder and press the button. It finally works. "Yes!" He said as Chomp turned into a card. "Ready to go, Chomp." Max slash his card on his dino holder. "Dino slash! Go Triceratops" summons Chomp in his full-size as he faces the Saltasaurus.
Chomp charges, but Saltasaurus takes the impact with its bulk and stands firm. Chomp backs up and lunges again, to the same effect.
Saltasaurus then bites Chomp's frill.
"Hang in there, Chomp!" Max said to dinosaur.
Chomp breaks free and attacks, but his horns only skid across Saltasaurus' armored back, causing sparks but no damage.
"Whoa it'll be hard for Chomp to get through the spikes." said Rex.
"Watch out it's coming from behind!" Zoe yells at Chomp.
Then Saltasaurus makes a whip-like attack with its tail, flipping Chomp over backwards. Chomp moans in pain.
"Come on, Chomp! Don't let it beat you, Chomp! Get up!" Max yells at Chomas he gets up.
Saltasaurus charges, but Chomp uses the same strategy he used against the alligator: he slipped under Saltasaurus and catapulted him into the air!
"All right, Chomp" Zoe cheered.
"That was impressive" said Terran.
"Way to go! Now finish it!" Max activate his move card. "Yeah! Electric Charge!" He slashed the move card.
The storm cloud gathers around Chomp and powers him with electricity. Chomp launched up and delivered the attack to Saltasaurus in midair, letting it crash into the water, defeating it. However, the battle was exhausting, and Chomp collapses and returns to his card, too.
"Did Chomp win?!" Zoe asked.
"Yeah, he clobbered that Saltasaurus!" Rex replied.
"Incredible" said Terran.
Max approach his card. "You fought so hard, you even turned back into a card." He slash the the other way and Chomp in chibi-size. "You did it Chomp! You won!" Chomp jumps on Max's arms "It's great to have you back. Let's never get separated again." Chomp nibble his face.
"Hey Max, here. You totally get the credit for this one" Rex hands the dinosaur card to Max.
"Thanks" Max's stomach is growling. "Ugh.. man, am I starved?" He said.
"Look" Zoe pointed at the lizard.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that lizard." Max said.
"Where'd you find it?" Rex asked
"In the jungle, running from the Saltasaurus, just like me" He said, putting Chomp down.
"Oh! That means.." Zoe and Rex said while Terran looks on.
"Saltasaurus wasn't chasing after you, Max." said Zoe.
"It wanted a lizard," Rex said as Chomp follow it.
"Listen up, you beastly brats!" They looked to the repaired blimp with patches and bandages. "You may have won this round, but I guarantee you haven't seen the last of the Alpha gang!" They were all soaked and wet. "You'll be getting a big fat bill for damage you caused to this blimp." Ursula shouted out to them.
"Yeah! And the dry cleanig bill too because I'm sweating like pig here" Zander yelled out in discomfort.
"Whatever he said" Ed yells out in discomfort as well.
"Now then-" She said. "let's stroke!" They said as they stroke away.
"Next time we're renting one with a motor." said Zander
"I hear ya" said Ed.
"That old lady never quits, does she?" Zoe asked the boys and robot.
"I told you before I'm not old! Got that?!" Ursula yells back at them while the D-team watches them floating away in distance.
In night at Max's house
Rex, Zoe, and Terran were outside showed the Saltasaurus card to Dr. Taylor.
"That makes perfect sense actually." Dr. Taylor said. "Of course, Saltasaurus was chasing the lizard.
"How can you be so sure?" Rex asked.
"Well, Salta is the name of the town in South America where fossils were first discovered. The translation of the name Saltasaurus is lizard from Salta." He explained
"So it's a lizard too." Zoe guessed.
"That's right. When it saw the lizard, that thought it was one of its own kind and that's probably why it chased it." He said giving card to Rex.
"I get it." Rex said.
"Max, did you hear that?" She turns to ask them, but they're too busy eating dinner.
"Did you say something?" Max asked.
"Nevermind" Zoe said.
"You were right, those to are just alike." Rex said.
"My goodness! Where are your manners?! Slow down! You're both eating like you were raised in the jungle." Aki said to them.
Max looked down at Chomp, giving him a smile.
"If only she knew, Huh Chomp?" Max said to him.
Chomp look up at Max, then went back eating his food.
