He had complimented her hair, admired the way her golden locks bounced whenever... well, she could guess what he was going to say, before she whacked him with a spatula.

She doesn't want her hair to bounce. And she doesn't want him to play with her hair.

So she takes out the scissors.

She doesn't want stupid nicknames either, like "goldilocks." Goldilocks had used the three bears' house for her own benefit. That was nothing like her.

Clumps of blonde fall to the floor.

After she finishes cutting, she stares in the mirror. "I need a professional to fix this."
