We Claim for a Chance
Dear Miss 'Roja', this is especially for you… read it before reporting it…
With all your respect, if you allow us, we are here to support a noble cause. Spanish fic writer's movement, if you may call it someway.
We are not here to cause any trouble, or call for some kind of rebellion, no. We just want a little attention for our rights to be protected.
In these past few weeks, we've seen your efficient work; you must really love it, keenly looking for every update in order to find stories that, from your point of view, are 'prohibited'.
We know now, realize it too late, the reason of the disappearances of our most loved fics. Writers have been using a 'chat/script' type which is not allowed. But, that does not mean that you should report their fics right away.
With your permission, most of those writers are not aware of the reason of their fics being deleted, being sent to oblivion.
I must say that most of them have no idea of what 'rule' they broke or what they did wrong to have all their hard work and effort erased.
First of all, I think that you should 'warn them' before 'reporting' them. Hardly as it is to admit, many Spanish writers do not have a good knowledge of English, believe us. Maybe they learn how to use the network because of a friend or any other reason, but that does not mean that they completely understand all those English rules.
Especially, we believe that they have absolutely NO IDEA f what "chat/script" type means… Even some of us (writers claiming for a chance) didn't completely understand what you meant.
Now, we think that what you do is a bit unfair, since you just 'report' them without allowing them to correct themselves and realize they mistakes, and just delete their fics without any chance of reclaim.
We know that this post is not allowed either, but it is our only way to speak to you, since you remain anonymous, and if you don't read it and just banish this, we won't care. We'll continue to claim for justice until we are heard.
