Ah, new fanfic time. So yeah, Izuku in Black. This one was something I had been thinking about for a while, though it changed quite a bit from the early idea to this version.

It's a story that goes very in AU territory, but don't worry. Pros, UA and all the like still exist... though Izuku or other characters being involved with them is another matter entirely. You will see, I hope.

Well, without further ado, let us see this story of Alien life.

(XX)

Izuku stood on the rooftop, listening to the Hero that had just saved his life, and was now changing it.

"I understand your feelings, young man. However, I cannot, in good conscience, say that someone without a Quirk can become a Hero."

All Might's words were kind, but Izuku barely heard them. Over the beating of his own heart, they sounded like the hammer planting the last nail on the coffin of his dream.

"There are other ways for you to help people, though. You could become a doctor or a police officer." All Might stood up, the skinny man giving him a pat on the shoulder, "I know it's hard to be told no. Trust me, I'm more than aware. When I was your age… well, no point in reminiscing. You are a smart young boy. I'm sure you will find your path to help others."

Izuku nodded wobbly. All Might wasn't being cruel, he was being honest. Izuku could appreciate that.

In reality, Izuku had looked into Heroes with less offensive Quirks, but time and again, had always come out short of an answer to the main problem: there is no Hero who could keep fighting the same way without a Quirk.

Eraserhead could even the field with most people. One look from him, and most people were too busy trying to understand what was wrong with their powers to try and beat him. With Sir Nighteye, the man could see the future, and that threw off his opponents. And so on, all fighting Heroes having some skill that worked in conjunction with their Quirk.

As for the supporting Heroes… Those depended even more on their Quirks. Sirius, for example, had super hearing. On paper, that meant she was Quirkless, but her role in a fight was that of supporting Selkie. She wasn't chosen for her fighting skills, but because her Quirk synergized with other Quirks in the agency.

The problem of a Quirkless Hero wasn't that it couldn't do anything, but that there was always someone better. Sure, super hearing sounds average as a Quirk, but between them and a person without any power, why choose the latter?

Izuku sighed, turning toward the stairs. Considering how quickly those thoughts were rushing to his mind, maybe he had always known, after all. He would just have to go home and start thinking about his new path in life. He could go to UA's General Course and get in a good university from there, maybe. Becoming a doctor or a police officer sounded-

"Young Midoriya!" All Might, still in his emaciated appearance, burst through the door Izuku was about to open, sending him flying back. The scrawny teen looked up. "A-All Might?"

"I just realized! There is a way for you to help people that only a Quirkless person can accomplish!"

"Wh-What?! Really?!"

"Yes. A Quirkless young man like you is the perfect person for the job."

"How?!" Izuku's heart was beating faster, as he watched his idol.

"It will take some time to explain, and I have to bring this guy to the police station." All Might replied, patting the bottle in his pocket. Izuku sighed in relief. He had worried for a moment it might have fallen when he grabbed All Might. In hindsight, that might have been dangerous. "Could you come with me?"

Now, Izuku was a very wise young man, usually. At the very least, he knew what 'stranger danger' was.

"Alright All Might!" He said, standing up stiffly.

Yeah, stranger danger wouldn't cut it when the 'stranger' was Izuku's childhood Hero. He walked after him, feeling so nervous he might burst without Kacchan's support, and soon enough they had made their way to the closest Police Station. All Might presented a card proving his identity as Toshinori Yagi, All Might's assistant, and gave a full report of the incident.

Izuku wanted to ask so many questions. What did All Might mean? Why did it matter that he was Quirkless?

All Might smiled, probably noticing his nervousness. "Calm down, young Midoriya. I assure you, I'll answer any question you might have soon enough."

Izuku nodded, before taking a shuddering breath. "I-I'm just really… worried, sir. I never thought the Number One would offer me any sort of opportunity! I'm ready for anything!"

"… Keep that attitude up, Young Midoriya. This will be very confusing but acting that way will take you far."

Izuku now blinked in confusion, then shook his head. Ah, of course the Number One would say that. Whatever this was, it had to be really important, if it involved making a fourteen-year-old go with the Number One to… a parked car?

The black and red SUV hummed to life as All Might gestured to Izuku to come in. "By the way, if you haven't informed your parents that we will be going, now is the time. I'll take you back home, but I can't guarantee when that will be."

Izuku nodded, "I already sent my mom a text. I told her I'm staying out with some classmates."

"That happens often?" All Might asked.

"… Not really. I guess you could say I'm not super popular. Not many people want to be friends with the Quirkless kid that wants to be a Hero."

"Mh. Well, they are missing out." All Might shook his head, "Being a Hero is everyone's dream. The fact you don't have a Quirk doesn't influence that, you are still bound to find it something to aspire to. I just…" All Might seemed at a loss of words for a moment, "Standing on par with Quirked people as a Quirkless person is really…" He bit his lip, then shook his head "I don't think it's possible. Trust me I t- I saw someone try once. He didn't have much luck."

Izuku wondered who that was, but stopped himself before asking. He supposed it didn't matter now. Looking outside, he could see they were heading quickly east, on the road to Tokyo. Once again, he wondered where All Might was taking me.

"Y-You know All Might, right now it's only the two of us in the car. You could tell me…"

"I would, but I'm afraid you would jump out of the car if I did."

Izuku laughed. All Might didn't. "W-Wait you are serious?!"

All Might didn't answer for several seconds, before making one of the fakest laughs Izuku had ever heard. "Of course not. It's just… better if you see for yourself."

Izuku found that quite worrying.

-x-

Two hours later, the car parked in a large lot next to a towering skyscraper, dominating over the Tokyo skyline. Izuku gulped.

"Th-The Hero Public Safety Commission?" Izuku asked.

"Well, that's the building." All Might replied, "Why?"

"W-Well, I know that I want to work with Heroes, but I thought most Heroes didn't… uh… like the Commission? And anyway, the Commission has the fame of being overworked and understaffed, so it's not that good a job. I'd be better off after a few promotions as a cop…"

All Might hummed while closing the SUV, both of them having stepped out, "Well, that's not a bad assessment, though a career in the Commission does lead to a better salary, it does mean they are overworked, for sure. But as I said, we only care about the building. Follow me."

He nodded, still wondering what All Might wanted to show him, and they walked to the building's entrance. A statue of Brave, the first Japanese Hero, stood by the entrance, and as they walked in the main atrium, once All Might guided him through the metal detectors and showed a card to the guard to let them past, was decorated with representation of more famous Heroes. An All Might statue in the center of the hall, a towering painting of Crimson Riot fighting the infamous Villain Raging Demon on the wall behind the receptionist's desk, and on the walls the pictures of every Number One Hero Japan ever had, from those that held the position for years to those that fell in months defending civilians. It was quite inspiring.

All Might didn't stop there though, instead leading Izuku toward an elevator. He stepped in, Izuku following, and the man pressed to close the door. "Young man, could you turn around now?"

Izuku frowned but did as he was told. He heard All Might press several numbers, and then the elevator started to move downward.

'Ooook, secret floor, I'm starting to wonder if 'stranger danger' applies to All Might…'

Izuku didn't want to say he believed All Might could be doing something evil, but… Well he had dragged a teenager to the Commission's building and now was taking him to an underground secret floor, even Izuku was starting to feel it was suspicious.

Before he could raise any question though, the elevator stopped and All Might stepped out, Izuku in tow.

His jaw dropped open.

It was a second hall, but this one was… well, a lot different. Several people in suit were walking around, some in pairs, some in small groups, entering and exiting a series of doors that lined all sides of the building and three large elevators on the far side.

Izuku noticed immediately how the room, a large hall with walls of white marble and tiles of the same color, seemed to be divided about fifty-fifty between people with Heteromorphic features and people that looked perfectly normal. His eyes wandered from Quirk to Quirk, to try and spot them, and he almost ignored the drone that floated toward them and started to scan both.

"Identified: Toshinori Yagi. Access Level: Light Blue. Species: Homo sapiens sapiens."

"Unidentified. Access Level: Unknown. Species: Homo sapiens sapiens. Warning, Identity unknown."

"Override. All Might."

"Enter passcode."

Toshinori grumbled as the drone flew closer and protruded a large keyboard covered in symbols Izuku couldn't identify. They looked vaguely like Korea's Hangul, except that wasn't the case because he had seen enough Korean letters to know none of them looked like a reversed A with a sphere on top.

"Acknowledged. Izuku Midoriya. Access Level: Black. Species: Homo sapiens sapiens. Temporary access granted. The Director has been informed." The machine then spit out a black card Izuku grasped. It was a plastic document that listed the same information the machine had just said.

"Uhm, All Might?"

"Yes?"

"What is going on?!" He shouted, "I-I followed you this far, b-but even I am starting to lose you!"

All Might chuckled. "I'll admit, you got further than I expected before losing control. Well, Izuku, long story short, I present to you the world I'd offer you to enter. Izuku Midoriya… You are welcome to the Hidden Aliens Safety Commission."

"… Are you… Are you joking?"

All Might sighed. "Yeah I expected that. Come on, the Director…"

"N-No!" Izuku shook his head, "I-I followed you because you said that you had a way for a Quirkless person like me to save people a-and now you are telling me what, that aliens are… real? Th-That I should join the Men in Black?!"

"Young Midoriya…" All Might patted him on the shoulder, "I understand. This is a lot. I had… a very similar reaction when I was told about the HASC." He knelt down, "Look, Young Midoriya, if you want to leave, I'm not stopping you. This was… a rather impulsive action on my part, but I wanted to make up for telling you your dream was impossible to achieve by giving you a viable goal where a Quirkless man can shine. I wasn't lying when I said this is your best chance to save people, though."

Izuku looked into All Might's eyes. He wasn't lying, he could tell that. He was genuinely, if clumsily – and even Izuku could see that – trying to help.

He just had to wonder how much it would help.

"I-I suppose… I suppose hearing you out won't be that bad." Izuku replied. This was still All Might, his favorite Hero. Izuku would give him the benefit of the doubt.

All Might smiled back, accompanying Izuku through the room. Looking around, Izuku saw several people glance at him. A few that passed closer told him 'welcome aboard' and 'Good luck with your partner', mostly the people without any heteromorphic traits. Those that did just winked at him, waved or nodded.

"S-So… Aliens?"

"I know it's hard to believe…"

'No it's insane. And yet…' Izuku looked around. The decorations on the wall were mostly maps of various star systems, pictures of… was that a UFO?!

The flying saucer was clearly visible in the picture, and it wasn't the only one. Several other pictures included what looked impossibly like spaceships of many different kinds, some landed, others mid-flight.

They stepped through another elevator, and the machine moved downward without either of them inputting a command. Izuku got worried for a second, but All Might's expression remained relaxed, so he tried – and utterly failed – at doing the same.

The elevator dinged at what Izuku had counted to be somewhere around the tenth underground level. They exited, and entered a corridor. All Might kept walking, and when they arrived at the room at the end waved toward the woman manning what Izuku assumed to be the reception.

"Good morning, Mister Yagi. Director Mera will welcome you in minutes." The woman, two large spiral horns above her head, had just finished that sentence when the door swung wide open. "Go in, sir."

Thank you, miss Takahashi." He replied, and walked in, Izuku still behind. The door closed behind them, and Izuku watched the office.

Behind an elegant dark brown desk, on a leather chair that seemed aged but not old, was the most miserable individual Izuku had ever seen. He looked moments from fainting out of tiredness… until he didn't, slamming a hand on the desk and jumping up.

"You have two seconds to explain, All Might." He said, in what had to be the most tired angry tone Izuku had ever heard.

"Look, Director…"

"No. You know we have procedures for recruitment. What you did, bring in someone without my authorization, is so against the law that I could probably arrest the Number One." He waved, "Then again, madame President would throw a fit over it."

"Mister Mera-"

"Uhm…" Izuku raised his hand, catching the attention of both, "Hi. Errr… What is going on?!"

Mera glared at All Might, and then sighed, gesturing for both of them to sit down on the chairs in front of the desk. Izuku nodded, deciding that at this point he would wrap his head around this whole… thing or die trying.

"Ok kid. Long story short, aliens exist, they live among us, we work to ensure they stay a secret from the general public." He sipped his coffee, "Ever heard how the HPSC is overworked and understaffed? Well, that's because half of their staff is down here preventing alien invasions. You are welcome, by the way."

Izuku nodded.

He kept nodding.

And then he fainted.

-x-

"-doriya! Young Midoriya! Young Midoriya!" The figure of All Might loomed above him as Izuku woke up, laid down on a couch in the same office where he had… he had been told…

"Aliens are real?!" Izuku shouted, standing up abruptly and feeling immediately dizzy.

Mera walked closer, "Are you really Quirkless, kid?" He asked, examining him closely, "No very weak Quirks, no secret hidden power, no shapeshifting to look like one?"

"Y-Yes?" Izuku asked.

Mera sighed, patting All Might's shoulder, "Oh my god, a miracle. Yagi, I owe you big time. He might very well be the last Quirkless person in all of Japan, you know? And he would have flown completely under our radar for years."

"Could you not put it like that? The young man wants to help people, and I figured this is the right place to do that for a Quirkless person." He replied.

"Of course, of course. Either way, nice to meet you, Izuku Midoriya." He said, turning around. His earlier tiredness seemed to have vanished a bit, even if his eyes were still droopy. "I'm Yokumiru Mera, and I want to hire you."

Izuku blinked again, looking around. All Might: still there. Underground office: still there. Yokumiru Mera: still there.

So it wasn't a dream after all.

Oh boy.

Aliens were real.

And now he knew…

"I-I don't know if I want to work here. Please don't delete my memory!" He shouted, covering his eyes.

"You have seen too many movies, kid. If you want to leave, just leave. No one will believe you, if you try to tell them aliens are real and live among us. Well, except people you probably don't want to associate with." Izuku wanted to argue, but he really couldn't. It would make him sound like a complete nutcase. "Before you do, though, give a look, this is what we offer our employees."

"Thanks, but…" He froze, "Uh, are those zeros right?"

"Yep. It's about the same pay of the average Hero."

"It is…"

"Kid, we deal with aliens and alien tech. We pay for the insanity."

"Fair… point." He sighed. "So really, you just want me because I'm Quirkless? Nothing else?"

"Nothing else? You know how rare that is those days? You are an oddity. Since humans can reproduce with any sapient alien species, humans without alien ancestors are more and more of an endangered species."

"Why is it important that I don't have alien ancestors, though, if I get paired with an Alien anyway?"

"Classified."

"Wait, thinking about it, does that imply that people with Quirks are descendants of Aliens?"

"No, but ulterior details are classified."

Izuku sighed. Alright then. Was he really considering this? "I see. Uhm, All Might?"

"Yes?"

"Do you really think I can do something good here?"

"Of course. I wouldn't have offered otherwise." The man smiled, a warm look on his face, "I've worked with this Commission often, and I can assure you that they do good work. Unlike the Commission above ground…"

"Give them a break, All Might, most funds trickle down here." Mera replied, "The President works with the scraps. "But yeah, we do good work. Help aliens that have been outed, capture wanted aliens that entered the planet to hide from authorities… All the funny, government agency stuff, without the 'killing people that know too much' because no one would believe them anyway."

Izuku slowly nodded, "Why can't we tell them, though? I-I mean, why even keep the secret, if there are already many aliens on Earth?"

"I wouldn't say many. Maybe one in a hundred people is aware aliens exist. A lot, but still only one percent of the world, and most of those are Aliens or their direct offsprings. Japan has an unusually high number, though."

All Might nodded, "If the aliens arrive, it's always Japan or the US, for some reason." He said with a chuckle.

"Not always, but you have a point." Mera waved his hand, "So, kid, you on board?"

"Why me? Why someone so young?"

"I mean, you are around the same age we start training Hero students, and I have a partner lined up for you."

"Already?!"

"Midoriya, you were out for forty minutes." Mera replied, and Izuku emitted a startled gasp. "Your new partner is probably salivating at the idea of meeting you." The man continued.

"S-Salivating?" Izuku's mind was flooded with the image of a large alien with an enormous mouth licking their lips at the idea of having a potentially delicious human as a partner.

"She likes new people." Mera amended, "Don't worry, your partner has been trained for five years. She will guide you well. If you are joining, of course."

"Well, I can't just go home, right? The Number One Hero invited me here and now I know aliens exist, so…"

"Great! Sign here, here, here, here aaaaand here." Mera said, pushing a contract under Izuku's nose. The teen glanced at All Might again, who gave him a reassuring thumbs up. He took a deep breath. 'This is insane, Izuku. This was a completely normal day. Now the last normal thing that has happened to you was getting attacked by a Villain. No, thinking about it, now who knows if that Villain was a normal person or an alien? Oh my gosh, are some of my classmates Aliens? How many aliens are actually around?! How many people are of alien descent too?!'

A hand patted his shoulder. He looked up to see All Might, "Don't worry, Young Midoriya, if you don't feel joining is a good idea, I can take you home. I have a friend in the police too. If you don't want this, I can introduce you two."

The offer sounded good. Too good to be true. But well, All Might had already offered him the weirdest job in the world, what was introducing him to a cop compared to this?

"No All Might, it's fine. I… I thank you for giving me this opportunity." He replied, signing down on the papers.

Mera yawned, and Izuku noticed that in the span of time he had spent thinking and talking with All Might, the man had grown more and more slumped once again, looking more tired by the second. He still smiled as he put away the paper.

"Excellent." He walked back to the desk, "Miss Takahashi, please let her in." He said.

"Oh thank goodness." The woman replied, making Izuku's worry spike again.

Then a flying girl entered the room. She had long blue hair that extended down her back all the way to her legs, a veritable mane accompanied by two strands of air that formed spirals on both sides of her head, like antennae or horns. She was slightly shorter than Izuku, despite looking older. She was, quite honestly, stunning. Izuku had a moment to take all that in before her blue eyes instantly zeroed on him.

"Are you my new partner?!" She asked, rushing toward him while floating off the ground. "Hi, I'm Nejire! What's your name? Are you really a human?! Do you have a Quirk? Why is your hair green if you don't have one?!"

"Nejire, please, you will overwhelm the kid." Mera said, before muttering 'and me' under his breath.

"Sorry sir!" She said cheerfully, "But I'm so happy to have a partner finally! It's unfair I never got one…"

"You got several."

"But they all said they couldn't work with me…" She pouted.

"To be fair, I think the wording was 'I refuse to work with a Faedian ever again', followed by a number of comments on your constant questions."

"We Faedians are curious people." She said, still pouting. "And I've only been on Earth for five years! Can you blame me for being curious?"

"I'm very curious too usually." Izuku offered, and Nejire's eyes lit up. Mera probably sensed the opening and immediately seized on it.

"Excellent. Nejire, this is your new partner and trainee, Izuku Midoriya. Izuku, this is your new partner and trainer, Nejire Hado. She will teach you everything you need to know. Now, it's…" he clicked his tongue. "Six PM. I don't know what you told your mom but that lie is probably running thin. Nejire, why don't you take Izuku around for a tour?"

Izuku gulped.

Nejire smiled. "Just tell her you are going out for dinner with a friend. I'm right here, and I definitely think we can be friends!"

Izuku got dragged away, but had the presence of mind to send a message to his mom, saying he would be eating at a friend's home. He had time to wave at All Might before the door shut behind them.

'What did I get myself into?'

-x-

What he had gotten himself into was a long tour of the facility. Apparently, Izuku's card was now grey – weird, he had never changed it – and listed him as 'agent in training'.

"Clearance in the facility depends on your color. Black means you are a visitor, grey that you are in training. White means you have completed your training and green…" She pulled out her card, an emerald green document with her picture, "Means you are fully trained and with a provisional partner."

"What does light blue mean?"

"Hero." Nejire said. Izuku nodded. Well, that explained why All Might had one. "You get to meet lots of Heroes working with the HASC. Kinda wanted to be one, when I first arrived on Earth, but I changed my mind. Working here was a lot more interesting."

Izuku watched her float in the corridor. The girl was a chatterbox, but it was fine with him. He really needed the distraction right now, and having to answer her incessant questions was definitely one. "So, uhm… You are an alien?"

"That's right, partner! I'm a Faedian, from the planet Tir Na nOg!"

"Wait, the Irish fairy land?" Izuku asked. There were a few Heroes with fairy aesthetics, so he was familiar with the concept.

"Ah, Tir Na nOg is just the codename the HASC gave to it. The correct name is…" She started to emit a sound that sounded like a mix of humming a tune and whistling, "But that would be difficult for you Earthlings to pronounce, and giving it a numerical code just makes it hard to remember, so the Commission borrowed the name from mythology. You will find a lot of planets are named like that."

"And your people can travel through space?"

"A bit. We have achieved inter-systems travel, but intergalactic travel is still far off." She sighed, "The intergalactic community is very strict about not advancing a planet beyond their own achievements."

"I see… And where are we going?"

"Well, I already showed you the cafeteria, the dining room, the offices floor – later I have to show you our new office by the way – and the infirmary, so I figured we'd move to something more fun!" She tapped her card on the room's digital lock, and the door opened, allowing them both to enter a large, empty room. Izuku noticed there was a door to the left that seemed to lead upwards, toward a room with a mirror window.

"Alright, this is the training room. There is also a gym, two rooms to the left, but this is the sparring room." Nejire smiled, "Come on, come at me."

Izuku blinked.

"What?"

"You heard me, Midoriya! Let's see what you can do!"

"I-I don't know…"

"Come on, just charge at me! There is no wrong answer in a fight!"

Izuku gulped. Alright, he could do it, right? He had never been in a fight before, but it couldn't be too hard, right? Just do what Kacchan does, and attack.

Izuku roared like Kacchan and rushed forward.

-x-

'Yeah, that's what I thought…' The teenager thought, slumped on the ground. Nejire had sent him flying ten consecutive times, and he still had to touch her. The girl was very supportive, but she kept just shoulder throwing him. Izuku had even tried to copy other Heroes, like All Might or Gunhead, but he just didn't have the physique.

"Come on Izuku, come at me again, you can do it!"

"This would be a lot easier with a weapon…" He grumbled. It was more of a pouty comment, but it made Nejire pause.

And then the girl turned red and started to seem embarrassed.

"A-Ah, m-maybe I should have taken you to the armory first, thinking about it…" She scratched the back of her head. "L-Let's go partner, we can get you a weapon!"

"I need a weapon?!"

"Of course! Aliens can be really tough, even tougher than me! Getting you a weapon you can use where a punch or kick doesn't suffice is super important."

Izuku nodded, accepting the logic. Thinking about it, if the agency hired Quirkless people, they had to at least give out guns, right? It wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Nejire didn't take him far, before they arrived at a large door that opened on a massive armory. She quickly scanned her card, but the lock didn't budge. She did so again, and then again, but the lock still refused to open. She turned to Izuku. "Uhm, can you use your card?" She asked, and Izuku instantly pushed the card against the lock. The door opened.

"Why did mine work?"

"Because Director Mera is a meany. Just because I took some stuff for a ride a few times…"

Izuku entered after her and looked at the room. Rows and rows of guns and rifles covered the walls, disassembled but still ready. But what got Izuku's attention were the other weapons. Long metal sticks with odd markings on one end or both, a full line of what looked like metal bracelets, and more weapons that looked straight out of a videogame.

"Here we are! Alien tech department!" Nejire smiled, pushing him toward the odd weapons and away from the normal ones, "Look! This is a Loxodes Handgun!" She handed him what looked more like a bulky bazooka, and Izuku buckled under the weight. He had to put his full hand around the trigger to even pull it. Nejire shook her head. "Nevermind, Loxodeses are a bit bulkier."

"A bit?" Izuku asked, panting under the weight of the weapon until she pulled it back up and put it back in place.

"Well, how about this one?" She asked, pushing a pair of four-fingered gloves in his hand, a hole on both sides allowing him to push his fifth finger, the thumb, out. "These are modified Galvarian gloves! Try them! Press the thumb on the index finger and…"

A lightning shot out of the finger and promptly impacted the back wall, a whole host of weapons falling to the ground. For a moment, neither spoke.

"… Something else?" Izuku finally asked.

"Yeah, yeah, let's…" She paused, "Try this one." She grabbed a metallic bracelet and tossed it to Izuku, who grabbed it. It looked completely normal.

"What is this?"

"A Replica Orgue from the planet Industria. Put it around your arm and call for a weapon in your mind."

Izuku did as instructed, and watched as the metallic bracelet seemed to explode outward, covering his arm and hand in a thick armor while his hand found itself holding what looked like a trident, the shaft made of dark metal and the tip made of some sort of yellow energy. It wasn't quite crackling like electricity, but rather looked like solid light.

Izuku moved it, and noticed he wasn't feeling the weight of the weapon at all. Hado, who had been picking up the various fallen weapons and sighing as she pushed a broken one aside, turned around and cheered. "See, it worked! So, how does it feel?"

Izuku tried to move it a bit more, and nodded. "I think… ok? I'm not sure."

"Well, ok is enough in my book. Starting tomorrow, we are working and training, so get ready."

Izuku frowned. "Wait, tomorrow? But I have school tomorrow."

Hado tilted her head, "Uh, not anymore."

"What?"

"When you signed the contact, you moved schools. Your mom should have already gotten a mail about you receiving a scholarship for a private institution in Tokyo." Hado chuckled, grabbing him by the shoulder and pulling him close, arm over his shoulder, "We can't really let school get in the way of your preparation, right? Of course, you will be required to take the mandatory tests, but aside from studying for those, our future, dear partner, is all training and missions! And studying aliens, that's fun too. It's gonna be fantastic!"

Hado seemed extremely excited, but Izuku wondered once again if he had made the right choice.

Then again, he was just a rookie. His first mission wasn't going to be too hard, right?

Izuku didn't know why, but in response to that question, his hand instinctively clutched the Replica Orgue.

(XX)

I have a lot of side materials I want to post, but of course that starts in future chapters. For now, here we go.

Yep, Hado is an alien in this. I put a hard rule on myself to not go on an Alien-labeling spree on the characters, so don't expect half of UA to be Alien life or anything like that. She is also our first example of someone that didn't just occupy their canon slot in this AU. I wonder who else might do that...

This story will also have elements from other works by Horikoshi, though mostly referencing the works. For example, the planet Industria is the setting of his second work, the manga Barrage, and the Replica Orgue is well, the replica of the Orgue, the royal family's weapon from the series.

Well, don't want to start this with too long an A/N. I hope this was fun and you will stay for more!
