Chapter Two
Away From Me
Riku had a plan. It was one he thought would actually work. He would confront Sora and make him remember. Riku hated having to watch the one he loved with another, but first he would break Kiari's heart. Kiari admitted being in love with him back when they lived on Destiny Island, but Riku being who he was explained to Kiari that he did not share those same feelings. He never mentioned neither that Sora captivated his heart nor the fact that he thought of Kiari as his little sister.
"I hold my breath as this life starts to take its toll I hide behind a smile as this
perfect plan unfolds But oh, God, I feel I've been lied to Lost all faith in the things I have
achieved And I..." Riku whispered as he packed a few belongings
Riku shuffled around the room tossing random objects into a black duffle bag humming the familiar tune. It seemed whenever he thought of Sora he had a lot of songs bustling around in his head.
"I've woken now to find myself In the shadows of all I have created I'm longing to be lost in you away from this place I have made Won't you take me away from me..."
The song just brought tears of frestration to his eyes. It seemed to remind him not only of his sora but of what happened because of Ansem. He loathed Ansem. Ansem had made all this happen. Ansem made sora forget and he plauged him with nightmars.
"Crawling through this world as disease flows through my veins I look into myself, but my own heart has been changed I can't go on like this I loathe all I've become" but riku didnt loathe himself as much as he loathed Ansem and Maleficient. The darkness had made him feel so unself-assured (i wonder if thats really a word)
The plan was set! So riku grabbed his bag and headed out to get his sora back.
