Twiphase: This is another of my SI stories to see what would happen if I were to wake up, or at least reincarnated, as an actual demon in the inferno. I do not owe Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, and/or any anime/cartoon/videogames references. Please Enjoy. (w)

Chapter 1: A Beryl Key Emerges
3rd POV: Overdramatic Prologue consisting of huge build ups that hardly makes teeny tiny pay offs...
Until a point this fact faded into myths and legends, the world every living being knew consists of a trinity. One plain up above consists of celestial beings who brings forth light of creation and order. One plain down below the surface consist of infernal beings who brings forth darkness of destruction and chaos. And the plain in between the worlds up above and down below consists a physical plain where neutral beings, or mortal beings, wander on their two feet.
Across ages, there are rumors and baseless opinions that human souls sometimes have the potential to transcend into either angels or demons. And sometimes, celestial beings can fall from grace and become something as dark as fallen angels, just as infernal beings have the potential to rise from damnation and become something as bright as ascended demons.
As time goes by, more and more human souls end up in the inferno. But instead of facing purgatory and endless torture, they instead become demonic-like creatures by default. The appearance these unfortunate souls take on would always reflect the life they once endured as mortals and how they would see themselves as.
But what would happen if a human soul, whom not wishes to be involved in either side, became a being neither angelic or demonic, but instead an unorthodox offspring of a fallen angel and an ascended demon? And what would happen if a 4th kingdom were to emerge, wandering between the other three while never in the same place twice?
To answer those questions, this is where a story of a reincarnation in another world commence.
A whole new adventure awaits for one soul who has the potential to unknowingly upset the balance between the High Above and Down Below.
Will this chronicle be filled with untold fortunes or unspeakable ruins? Lets find out as the once blank pages begin to write themselves...
3rd POV: Present Time
Location: Pentagram City, Ring of Pride
It was your average day in Pentagram City and Imp City, both of which located in one of the seven rings of the Inferno or the Ring of Pride. Like the origin of the other six of the seven sins, the Ring of Pride is the top-most plains. The Ring of Pride is like a playground of lost souls who failed to reach the gates of Heaven. Under the blood-red skies, sinners wander the streets while minding their own business which occasionally consists of nosing into other sinner's business. Free to succumb to their desires, each sinner live out their second chance of existing in the afterlife. But this dangerous playground they run wild in may not be the same by the end of the day.
Somewhere within Pentagram City, their lies a hotel with the intended purpose of reforming sinners. The founder of this establishment is a demon princess named Charlie Magne, daughter of Lucifer. Due to disliking the yearly extermination method to reduce the overpopulation of sinners, she believe in an alternative way that does not involve having the souls of sinners perish by the hands of angelic assassins. Unlike most who doubt her, she believes that sinners have the potential to be redeemed and be able to ascend to Heaven. Achieving this dream might take a while, or close to impossible. But with help of her manager Vaggie, and her coworkers, Alastor, Husk, and Nifty, that goal might one day within reach. But will they be able to handle an unexpected guest with an unknown past?
Somewhere in Imp City, their lies a company with a purpose of avenging the dead. Running the company, also known as the Immediate Murder Professionals or I.M.P. for short, is the founding member named Blitzo with a silent "o", or preferably go by the name "Blitz". Blitz is an imp, native spawn of the inferno. Unlike sinners who cannot leave the Ring of Pride, imps, along with hellhounds and other infernal beings, can move between the seven rings.
Working along side him is his adoptive hellhound daughter Loona and his two coworkers Moxxie and Millie. The key to their success in fulfilling each clients request relies on using a grimoire, or book of spells, belonging to Stolas, pillar number 36 of the Ars Goetia. Due to Stolas being, at first, lustful but now leaning towards falling in love with Blitz, they agree to do a monthly exchange on the night of a full moon. So basically, Blitz gets to hold onto a magical means of reaching the human world for the duration of a whole moon cycle after a night of f(beep)ing Stolas's brains out.
But regardless how steady the days may seem for both the Hazbin Hotel and I.M.P., chaotically peaceful moments like these do not last forever. What was suppose to be an ordinary day in the Ring of Pride, an event of grandeur unfolds...
3rd POV: Later around Midday
Location: Outside the perimeters of any city in the Ring of Pride
Not far from both the Hazbin Hotel in Pentagram City and I.M.P. in Imp City, there lies an entrance to an abandoned old mine. Deep in one of the mine shafts, brave souls would find themselves in a channel of tunnels connecting to various caverns untouched since times long lost in myths and legends.
One cavern in particular stood out in comparison. In center of said cavern, a pillar emerged. The pillar was that of either a totem pole, an obelisk, or something both. Across the facets of said pillar consists of etchings. Etchings that resemble a mix of emblems, glyphs, and runes.
This sudden change was oddly felt by a select few, those who have at least some magical awareness and more. That includes the 7 Princes of Hell, most members of the Ars Goetia aka Pillars of Solomon, and barely a handful of certain overlords. They all felt that mystical vibration, but decided to ignore it... for now.
My POV: Present Time
Location: Unknown
Nothingness. Floating in complete nothingness. It was like being asleep within the warm depth of an abyss. My body feels helpless as it clings onto something soft. This comforting feeling acts as an anchor to assure I do not float adrift across the dark seas of the unknown. There was no telling how deep my slumber is. And there was no telling when I began sleeping or when will it end.
In my dream, there was a skyscraper-like manifestation consisting of stained glass constantly glowing regardless of standing within a haze of shadows. It first appeared as a glowing construct emerging from the shadows like signs of spring emerging from the blanket of winter. Remnants of that peeled off layer of shadows scattered into glowing butterflies before flying away towards a distance as they fade from sight. Said platform was slowly revealed to be a pillar with metric looking mandalas on the sides. At the top of the pillar, the platform resembles that of an astronomical-clock-like magic circle. Similar to a near eclipse, imagine a medium cluster of circles placed a little more towards the, what I am assuming, northern part of the platform. And towards the southern end which raps around the eastern and western edges, a moon crescent-like semi-ring, consisting of nine smaller circles, is placed close yet barely touching the sun crest-like formation.
The color palette for the platform I find myself standing on consist of shades of viridian, but mostly green. In some parts of the platform, I noticed the center of the revolver-like circle had an emblem. From inwards to outwards, there is a rhombus attached with an indented looking triangle at the bottom. And attaching to the two obtuse edges of the rhombus appear to be a five-pointed curvy blade tip. In other words, it almost look like an interesting way of redesigning the suit of clubs.
(A/N: Basically, this platform I designed is similar to a Station of Awakening from the "Kingdom Hearts" series, but the inner cluster of circles have 6 large ones instead of 7, which might make it look like one of those 6-bullet cartridges, while the in-between ring cluster of circles have 9 medium-sized visible circles out of 12 possible circles instead of 15 to 17 visible circles out of 20 possible ones. And unlike the original platform from the game, it even has an outer ring with 8 smaller circles arranged corresponding to the 8 directions of a compass.)
I was startled by a voice. It echoes and yet had a gentle baritone, making feel like it belonged to a wise elder from a lost and ancient era.
Anonymous Voice: "So much to do, so little time... Take your time... Do not be afraid..."
I slowly gaze back at the center of the platform
Anonymous Voice: "The door is still shut..."
(Me): (Door? What door?)
I thought that to myself. But the voice kept going...
Anonymous Voice: "Now, step forward. Can you do it?..."
I hesitated at first, but anything is better than doing nothing. So I slowly took my first steps forwards until I reached the center.
One by one, a total of three weapons appeared each on one of their own pedestal.
Anonymous Voice: "Power sleeps within the depths of your heart..."
First a shield appeared on one of the pedestals...
Anonymous Voice: "If you give it form..."
Then a scepter appeared on another pedestal...
Anonymous Voice: "...It will give you strength..."
And finally a sword appeared on the last pedestal...
I find myself still standing in the center of the platform, but with three pedestal positioned equally from one another towards the edge. The sword would be positioned at the 12-o-clock or northern edge, shield at 4-o-clock or southeastern edge, and the scepter at 8-o-clock or southwestern edge of the platform.
Anonymous Voice: "Choose well..."
(Me): (A staff that looks like a purple and yellow lion, a sword that looks like a red and blue wolf, and a shield that looks like a green and pink lizard.)
Unaware at the time, each weapon represented a mix of virtues and sins that contradict one another. The scepter represents humility and pride, the sword represents patience and wrath, and the shield represents kindness and envy. After taking another look, I realized a theme so obvious I was surprised I did not realize it sooner. A triad. Each of the three weapons represents8 a unique part of triad. The color schemes even reminds me of an anime series consisting of certain traveling monster tamers that captures their potential partner creatures with science-fictional red and white orbs that can change sizes from as small as a marble to as big as a baseball at a push of a button.
So in other words, this means that not only each weapon represents classic aspects of any role-playing classes but also various starter elements, such as water, fire, and wood, along with various stats, such as wisdom, power, and courage. In some aspects of various fantasy series, power can also be referring to the strength of heart. In a way, this gives me nostalgia of an old animated films that would always share sentimental values relating to courage, strength, heart, wisdom, etc.
(Me): (Hmmm... Let's see...)
If this were to be similar to those one fantasy videogame series I play every so often, this would mean that my choice amongst these weapons would determine my stats and possibly class. Right now, my best guess that my current stats before selection any of these weapons would be around a bunch of random numbers. For example, I could have a strength of 5, defense of 3 , AP of 3 , and MP of 2. And if my memory of various are correct, that would mean various possibilities. Choosing the staff will result an increase of MP, while sacrificing results in losing AP. Choosing the sword will result in increasing strength by 20%, while sacrificing it somehow decreases it by 40%. And choosing the shield results in increasing my defense by roughly over 30%, while sacrificing practically cuts it in half.
Overall, best options for me has to consist of aiming for an equal distribution for basic stats. Afterwards, whatever equipment and accessories I can get my hands on will augment my stats. So maybe...
My choice has been decided. I walked towards each of the weapons, knowing the anonymous voice would say something cryptic. One by one, I walked pass each weapon as their respective description echoes in this nightmarish void of shadows.
Anonymous Voice: "The power of the warrior. Invincible courage. A sword of terrible destruction..."
Like the scorching rays of the sun, one cannot help but feel a radiating warmth of the fire element. Then for a short moment, I had a glimpse of a fiery red wolf, with two horns and three tails, howling at the edge of a cliff over a sea of flames under the night of a lunar eclipse...
Anonymous Voice: "The power of the mystic. Inner strength. A staff of wonder and ruin..."
Like the gentle beams of the moon, one cannot help but feel a cool and calming of the water element. Same as when examining first weapon, I had a glimpse of a purple lion, with one horn and twin tails, running across icy waters in the middle of a thunder snow...
Anonymous Voice: "The power of the guardian. Kindness to aid. A shield to repel all..."
Like the ever rotating perspective of the stars dancing in the night sky, one cannot help but feel a mix between a gentle breeze of the ever changing winds and the carried petals and leaves from the branches of a tree. And lastly, I had a glimpse of a green snake-like lizard, with four horns and six tails, lurking across the shadows of a deep forest...
After hearing each of the descriptions, I first went to the weapon of my choosing... the staff.
Anonymous Voice: "Is this the power that you seek?..."
(Me): "...Yes"
After the staff vanished from my grasp like dust fading away,
Anonymous Voice: "Your path is set. Now, what will you give up in exchange?..."
The remaining two pedestals, one representing attacks and the other defense.
I went to the weapon I figure I would sacrifice... the sword.
Anonymous Voice: "You give up this power?..."
I hesitated at first, but I remind myself that I can always find accommodations to my stats in a later point in time...
(Me): "...Yes"
Anonymous Voice: "You've chosen the power of the mystic. You've given up the power of a warrior. Is this the form you choose?"
So basically, I went with choosing the staff and sacrificing the sword to give me an easy to remember base stats of my favorite number 3. I cannot bring myself to choose or sacrifice the shield. To me, sacrificing the sword or staff, in combination of choosing the shield, would only result in various consequences. Even though choosing the shield would result in high defense and increase in maximum item slots, not sure if I should risk lowering the chance of getting new abilities. But that is a videogame topic session for another time...
Suddenly the pedestal that once had the sacrificed weapon started to collapse from below, sinking back into the platform. After getting off said pedestal, said platform began to crumble and fade away as if something fragile as ice cracked and shattered apart. I fell once again down to the shadows of the unknown until I, somehow as if there were a sudden shift in gravity, landed gently on another platform similar to the previous yet different. Instead of viridian, this platform's palette consists of violet and mostly purple. The emblem placed on it was similar to the previous one, only it was one-pointed instead of five, almost like a tear-drop-shaped thorny-like suit of spades.
With each passing moment, the more I would like to somehow get out of this weird dream...
Anonymous Voice: "You've gained the power to fight. Use this power to protect yourself and others..."
Suddenly, some form of weapon appeared in my hand. It was similar to the purple lion staff, but as a short one-handled scepter that also looks like a mace. In a way, this might be best weapon for me. Not sure if someone like me who never fought, especially in closed spaces, can use long swords or shields which might need me to do heavy swings when attempting to do any damage. Not only I can potentially use magic with this, but I can also use to do short swing attacks. Bonus!
Anonymous Voice: "Use this power to protect yourself and others..."
I wondered around this new yet similar platform to see if there was a way out of here. But then random puddles of shadows appeared. They were like dark silhouettes of being from unknown origins...
Anonymous Voice: "There will be times when you have to fight..."
From the ground, bodyless shadows emerged becoming solid beings. Though I am sure whatever they are made of is some form of flesh, I find odd for them having pointy shoes for feet, blank glowing dots for eyes, and stubby antlers on top of their heads which sometimes moves like bendy branches...
Anonymous Voice: "...Keep the light of your soul burning strong..."
Having no choice in the matter apparently, all I could do is swing around my mace and try inflicting bludgeoning damage. One by one, each of the enigmatic enemies were reduced to a puff of black dust. The remaining enemies returned themselves into silhouettes before disappearing completely...
As I suddenly see the area around warping and slowly submerge in slimy tendrils of shadows, I heard a melody that beacons like a light in a dark mist. It went something like...
((Re-Mi-Re)(Re-Re-Mi)(Do-Fa)(Re-Sol-Mi-Sol))
((La-Do-Sol)(Re-Do))
...then...
((Ti-Ti-La-Do)(Mi-Fa))
...and finally...
((Do-Do))
As the melody played in a loop, a sequence of numbers were flashing before my eyes. The sequence of numbers were the following...
?: ...
147058036900
147012369058
001475305900
147012301560
789000145603
607890014701
235
As if overwhelmed with nostalgia, I somehow understood the message within both the numbers and the melody...
(Me): (Huh?..."wake up"?)
Everything then came to a screeching halt and faded to complete darkness.
What later to be revealed as my dream like state was interrupted by the sound of near by voices muffling. The sounds of their voices clashing slowly awoke me from my slumber...
Meanwhile
3rd POV: Afternoon, couple hours pass Midday/Noon
Location: the Abandoned Old Mines in Outskirts of Pentagram City and Imp City.
Not long after that mysterious force was felt and became known by the mentioned few 7 Princes of Hell, 72 Pillars of the Arc Goetia, and various overlords, to be drawn towards the unknown was inevitable. Some sought it out out of curiosity. Some out of need to satisfy their boredom. And others to see how powerful this potential danger was.
Regardless of reasons, an expedition was organized. Mostly an unlikely group of mercenaries hired by various members of royalty and nobility, which practically makes it feel like a cliché plot of those quests anyone would come across in various role playing games. The said group of unlikely comrades in arms consists of mainly of imps, hellhounds, sinners, and other kinds of residents of the inferno, each with unique sets of prowess. For example, some members could be imp assassins for scouting and detecting traps, sinner warriors to use as tanking meat shields, hellhounds for tracking and finding hidden secrets, succubus and incubus to distract possible guards and dungeon monsters, the list goes on.
Upon reaching to the cavern entrance, the expedition began. It did not took long to get pass the 1st floor of the caverns which was an old abandoned mine shaft. At the end of the inclined shaft was the entrance the mercenaries were instructed to find and explore. In case of the tunnels be that of a maze, the imps and hellhounds went first. The rest followed after. Down and down they continue travel the caverns. The deeper they went, the less and less the walls and floor resembling of dug up dirt. And deeper they went, the more and more the tunnel walls resembles that of a temple ruin.
Step by step, they went down this downward spiral-like labyrinth
They come across a corridor what looks like a dodecahedral gazebo dome, consisting of a symmetrical foyer with eleven stain-glass-like doors on a curved set of stairs, were each wall is etched with ancient looking inscription. Unbeknownst to them, the runes are actually a sequence numbers that would form a coded riddle. At the edge of the entrance, the group was suddenly halted by some panel which appeared on some emerging pedestal. Corners of said panel had chains sticking out from the edges and attached themselves towards the walls, forming a protective barrier. The panel itself is etched with 7 mandala-petal like emblems, arranged in a circular formation pointing outward, surrounding an eighth mandala petal like the rays of a seven-pointed sun.
From left to right clockwise, each of the seven petals have a unique color and shape. Pointing at the lower left corner is a 1-pointed violet-purple petal that resembles similar to that of a suit of spade. Pointing at the middle left is a 3-pointed vermilion-red petal that almost looks like a flame tongue. Pointing at the top left corner is a 2-pointed crimson-pink petal... 5-pointed viridian-green petal... 4-pinted caerulean-blue petal... 2-pointed chartreuse-yellow petal... And lastly, pointing at the lower right corner is a 3-pointed charcoal-grey petal...
With the barrier giving off some sort of overlord-level threatening aura, they decided to try and find another path. If they were to noticed the code etched in the walls and decipher it, they could've unlocked a shortcut pass the upcoming obstacles. In fact, the etched code reads...

...thus revealing either a short 12-note melody such as...
(Mi-Mi)(Do)(Mi-Ti)

Situation: Mostly the 4th Wall's Reaction...
At this point, the narrator could only guess the following reaction from the viewers...
Pretty Much Every Viewer: "HOW THE F(BEEP) WAS THAT SIMPLE?!"
...which is understandable. The narrator is not good when it comes to writing music. So the notes in the code and the actual hidden message within the code are not exactly in synch. And if you are wondering what message, you might have to see the hint at end of the chapter to find out...
Back to the Story
3rd POV: Afternoon, couple hours before Evening
Location: the Abandoned Old Mines in Outskirts of Pentagram City and Imp City.
In a way, a somewhat complex puzzle is what was standing between them and the shortcut to their main objective of the expedition. In fact, there were even hints on the sides to help it solve it. If they paid attention, there are two paintings on the sides. The two said paintings both have a unique short sequence of numbers on the top half and a set of musical notes on the bottom half. One bears an odd title, "Despond", while the other painting was entitled as "Melancholy".
First, the "Despond" portrait have the following sequence of numbers...
147015980014701230
156078900145690014
701235001401236078
900147015963001470
1598
...on the top half while the bottom half has 3 color-coded melodies that went like...
(Re-Fa)(Re-Sol-Re-Sol)
(La)(Re-Do)(Fa-Re-Sol)(Re-Sol)(Re-Fa)
...also...
(Ti-Do)(La-Fa-Fa-Do-Ti)
...and...
(Ti-La)
Secondly, the "Melancholy" portrait had a similar pattern with the following sequence...
147015369001470123
015607890014789053
001470123690580014
701596300357890014
702503690014012360
789001478905300153
0258
...along with other color-coded melodies that went like...
(Re-Sol)(Re-Sol-Re-Sol)(Do-Ti)
(Re-Re-Mi)(Re-Sol)
(Fa)(Re-La-Do)(Fa-Re-Sol)(Do-Ti)
(Do-Sol)
...in addition to...
(Do-Do-Ti)(Ti-Do)(Sol-Ti-Sol-Ti)(Sol)
...and finally...
(Ti-Ti-Re-Sol)
And lastly, there was even a decoder mural on the tunnel ceiling right above them. In said mural, where some english-alphabet-like symbols have corresponding set of numbetrs. A symbol that looks like the letter U would be translated to "14560360789", "796", and "4". And the symbol that looks like a W would have other codes like "147058075963", "343", and "1". Below both set of numbers, there is two more sets of melodies where one went like (La-Do-Fa)(Mi) and the other (Re-Mi-Re)(Ti).
In other words, they could have just analyzed the three keys to noticed a pattern and realized that the code is translated into a 8 word poem with 12 syllables which is converted into notes to be inserted on the panel in a certain order. Upon which, the answer to the riddle would be either a 12 note or an 8 note melody.
3rd POV: Meanwhile
Location: N/A
Situation: Mostly the 4th Wall's Reaction...
Once again, the audience within the 4th wall are probably doing a similar swear towards the authors lack of common sense...
Pretty Much Every Viewer: "THE DAY ANY OF THAT WOULD MAKE ANY S(BEEP)Y SENSE WOULD BE WHEN S(BEEP)Y W(BEEP)A(BEEP)ED B(BEEP) SWINES LEARN HOW TO SPROUT WINGS AND FLY!"
...which we can just agree to disagree. Though each have rights to your opinions, both the narrator and author would probably counter with a snarky question quote: "Do I look like I care, swine amongst swans?"
MWAHAHAHA!

Back to the Story
3rd POV: Afternoon, couple hours before Evening (Same time with hardly a couple minutes pass)
Location: the Abandoned Old Mines in Outskirts of Pentagram City and Imp City.
But alas, they will soon find themselves in a chain of minor yet unspeakable consequences as they continue their expedition down an alternative path unbeknownst to be filled with an odyssey of horror and comedy.
(Time Skip: 30 seconds later)
(Entire Expedition Group): "WHAT THE F(BEEP)?!"
The said odyssey of horror and comedy started with something as simple, yet uncharacteristically careless, situation consisting of the classic stepping on a loose tile which triggered a whole bunch of other dungeon cliches. Next thing they knew, they experienced the following: almost getting flattened by rolling boulders, hit by darts being shoot out from the walls, and almost fall into spike pits. This expedition group were close to their limits, physically, mentally, and somewhat emotionally, after getting pass a couple of chambers and barely escaping dead ends that were booby-trapped. Even for a group of professional mercenaries, it is as if the temple is guarded by protective charms that causes intruders to experience random aspects of bad luck worthy that of a fool's utter clumsiness.
(Time Skip: approximately 3 hours later)
Upon reaching what may appear to be another chamber entrance, we find out unlikely group of comrades...shall we say exhausted...which is an understatement considering how physically, mentally, and emotionally fatigue they became. Regardless, they cannot deny or fail a mission assigned by members of the infernal hierarchy. Upon reaching what may hopefully be the final door, they find themselves at the end of a corridor. The door before them resembles that of a stained glass
Meanwhile
3rd POV: Throughout the Whole Duration of the Expedition
Locations: random areas across Hell
Depending on who hired various members of the expedition group, each respective prince of sin, member of the Goetia, and overlords with mystical prowess where watching on the progress of their hired mercenaries. And they have to admit, they are enjoying the comedy. As it turns out, the competitive rivals of the inferno where the following. There is Asmodeus the Embodiment of Lust who is also pillar number 32 and 5th king of the Ars Goetia, Mammon the Embodiment of Greed, Satan the Embodiment of Wrath, Paiman the 9th pillar and 2nd king of the Ars Goetia, the three Vs, and lastly Alastor the Radio Demon.
Usually, even Lucifer himself would like to watch on the progress of the expedition. But as not just the Embodiment of Pride, he is also the king of all of the inferno. Thus, he would be busy with other duties to maintain other territories in the Ring of Pride. And then there are the other embodiment of sins, along with other members of the Ars Goetia. Those are either too busy to attend the viewing or do not care about the outcome of the expedition.
It was sort of like attending a live stream, but without a chat room so no one is aware of each other spying on their respectively hired members of the mercenary group. Regardless, each could not help but feel a mix of disappointment and amusement. Some who are watching practically laughed at both their and other mercenaries experiencing the classic cartoon level of chaos they witnessed.
While entertained by the pain and misery of their hired mercenaries, some cannot help but noticed the engravings upon the underground temple walls. Some select few even took the time to think back on what they saw previously, the puzzle lock and that stained glass door. For some reason... those markings and pattern... seem to be... familiar to them...
Asmodeus: "...Are those..."
Satan: "...but it couldn't' be..."
Paiman: "...could it?"
Unbeknownst to them, something was laying dormant somewhere deep on each of the 7 deadly sin's respective ring. Specifically, an artefact in each of the sin's residence are slowly to awake from their long lost slumber. Somewhere in separate hidden locations, there were 7 jeweled eggs. They each are basically one egg-shaped gemstone incased in some charcoal-grey-gilded metal. They are almost like one of those Faberge eggs and yet not quite.
One jeweled egg in Pride was made of violet-purple maxixe, one in Wrath made of vermillion-red bixbite, one in Lust made of crimson-pink morganite, one in Envy made of viridian-green emerald, one in Sloth made of cerulean-blue aquamarine, one in Greed made of chartreuse-yellow heliodor, and the seventh jeweled egg in Gluttony was made of colorless-white goshenite.
Members of the infernal hierarchy continued monitoring the expedition as it slowly reaches to the finale. Some are at the edges of their seats, awaiting to see new surprises to occur on this expedition. Others are just watching patiently for their hired mercenaries to succeed... or else.
3rd POV: Some time later...
Location: the Abandoned Old Mines in Outskirts of Pentagram City and Imp City.
Not long after pass through the stained glass doorway, they find themselves within some kind of chamber. Similar to the puzzle-locked indoor gazebo they passed by, they find themselves in what may appear to be... a bed chamber? In the center of what assumed to be a bed chamber was some pod sticking out from the floor. It looks basically an egg shaped flower covered in various emblems.
(A/N: something similar to the sleeping pod from a disney / square-enix franchise involving a giant-key-swinging boy traveling to other worlds with an anthropomorphic duck and dog while )
The narrator is not even sure the devastated and enraged begin to describe the mood of some mercenaries
As the group continued their aggressive debate, they were interrupted by the echoing sound of something... being tapped. The sound of tapping continued on and on, attempting to lure anybody further.
Every Mercenary: (...What The...)
...that is when they noticed the tapping...coming from the pod...and the tapping is getting louder and faster...
Meanwhile
3rd POV:
Location: Various Locations across the 7 Rings...
After thinking it over and over, some who are watching the expedition slowly began to realize something...
Paiman: (...is that...who I think it is...?)
Stolas: (...surely it can't be...?)
Andrealphus: (Ugh...enough with the overdramatic suspension...can we just get this expedition be done with already?)
Back to 3rd POV: Early Evening, few hours before Nightfall
Location: the Abandoned Old Mines in Outskirts of Pentagram City and Imp City.
Tapping. Nothing but tapping for the last 3
Aaa: "...Where is that annoying tapping coming from?"
They follow the tapping sound and redirect their attention back to the egg-like pod. Like a dam about to open flood gates...the pod cracked open either like an egg or a flower in spring...and then every mercenary was...covered in some sort of liquid...
Upon closer examining from where they are standing, the group noticed something, or someone, emerging from the mysterious pod. The being in question appears to be some sort of hybrid. Approximately the size of an imp or some other form of medium-small sized demon, this being resembles between that of various creatures such as bugbears, kobolds, trolls, dwarfs, satyrs, etc.
Unconsciously, the unknown being was out of the mysterious pod and lay upon the puddle-soaked grounds...
Meanwhile
My POV: Minutes Earlier
Location: Unknown, mostly in some comfy sleep pod
When I slowly open my eyes, I honestly cannot even begin to come up with the words to describe the situation I somehow got myself tossed into. Though I am not sure if I am in some liquid, but I find myself floating while huddling in some sort of huggable object. It is sort feels like clinging onto a pillow or a plush and yet it is neither but rather a cluster of blanket-like objects that waves like ribbons while suspended in the same breathable liquid-like substance I continue to doze off in. I could continue to sleep with ever lasting bliss...
?: "...(random aggressive mumbling)..."
...until I was startled by a muffled sound. To my annoyance, I...swam?...my way to the perimeter of the pod and began banging as my way of asking whoever is out there to be quiet. No idea why, but apparently I am so upset someone interrupted my nap, I almost forgot that I am technically in some unknown location by mysterious mean. You'd think I be screaming and panicking on the inside by now.
Any who, I banged the hard shell repeatedly until the noise outside settled down. Was going back into my floating blanket nest...until I noticed the sound of something cracking...and realized I may have banged the shell too hard...
3rd POV:
Location:
...jaw drops...certain few of the infernal hierarchy who where watching the expedition...jaw dropped at that they saw...
(Various members of the Infernal Hierarchy) : "...Zmaradgus...?"
3rd POV: Overdramatic Epilogue that also consists of huge build ups with hardly any teeny tiny payoffs
What unforeseen events will occur upon this new resident of the inferno? How do the residents of the Inferno now this new sinner? Will this self-insert protagonist survive obstacles thrust upon him by members of royalty and nobility? How will he survive the Ring of Pride? And will this narrator cease blabbering these overdramatic dialogues at the beginning and ending of each chapter?
Find out as this tale of unspeakable chronical of chaos "unveils and unfolds what was unseen and untold"...
Opening/Ending Credit Song
"Obsession"
band: See-Saw
music/writer: Yuki Kajiura
series: ".hack/SIGN"
The scene first revealed some sort of title screen glitching with static before scene switched to some unknown being dancing to some robotic-looking choreography.
Lyrics: "How come I must know...where obsession needs to go?"
That unknown being sort of looks like a member of the Morningstar family especially with the literal pale-white skin, long curly blonde-yellow hair, red circle cheeks, while wearing some red suit covered in cybernetic markings with a matching visor.
Lyrics: "How come I must know...the direction of revealing?"
A title screen reappeared after diverted pigmentations of itself converged back into one. And that title reads: "Helluva Hazbin"
Lyrics: "Deep in the night...far off the light...missing my headache."
On a static screen, there were constant shifts of facial images from various characters.
Lyrics: "Visions of light...sweeter delight...kissin' my Loveache."
(insert background gibberish chanting)
In one flash, an unknown bracelet or halo like object appeared. As it rotates, runes etched on the surface reflects the nonexistent light withing the shadowy void. While the same time, a second flash revealed an unknown being huddling like an unborn offspring sleeping within an invisible womb.
Lyrics: "(How come I must know...the direction of revealing?)"
While still asleep, the huddling being began to unfurl their limbs as it express its first breath of life. Said being was then clothed in some form of material that manifested out of nowhere. It even sprouted a pair of wings. It sort of a mix between that of a bat, a bird, and a butterfly.
(A/N: similar to a dark fae's wings from a live action movie that involves a princess once cursed to fall into a deep sleep after pricking a funger in a spindle of a spinnign wheel...)
(First Reprise Part 1)
Lyrics: "Deep in the night...far off the light...missing my headache."
Lyrics: "Visions of light...sweeter delight...kissin' my Loveache."
(First Reprise Part 2)
Lyrics: "How come I must know...where obsession needs to go?"
No idea why, but some characters were teleported in some warp tunnel. And as they continue to fall down sone tunnel of neon lights, it is as if they are being scratched by an invisible force that slowly shreds some parts of their clothing before exposed parts of their bodies suddenly become injured.
Lyrics: "How come I must know...where the passion hides its feelings?"
(Second Reprise)
Lyrics: "How come I must know...where obsession needs to go?"
Our SI protagonist turned around, with weapon in arms, ready to face what was about to attack him,
Lyrics: "How come I must know...The direction of revealing?"
The song ends with a member of the Morningstar family, after diving into an ocean of nothingness, end up floating next to the sleeping child
Twiphase: Please Review
A/N: Chapter 2 will be out somewhere before 2023. I'll be planning on making Chapter 2 and 3 before half way into Season 2, and hopefully before season 1 of Hazbin Hotel premieres.
And on a side note: I might someday either...
A: make a similar copy of this story and make it as a Kingdom-Hearts fanfic so my character can travel to non-Disney worlds
B: somehow update this as a Hellava Boss / Kingdom Hearts xover fanfic (similar to option A)
or C: leave it as a Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss fanfic with various anime/cartoon/videogames references.
Your thoughts? Please add your opinions via review.
Author Note(s):
[Creaturesona Status] (currently as of Chapter 1 before Chapter 2)
Name: Zmaradgus Nullacalvis
Gender: Male
Race: Unknown
Species: Bugbear / Kobold / Troll (hybrid)
(A/N: basically some sort of Tiefling)
Size(s): (guessing based on Helluva Boss character height charts)
)))Height: can roughly be between 52 to 54 inches aka between 4 to 4.5 ft, approximately that if a half-dwarf-sized imp
(A/N: really difficult to figure lengths and widths of every part of body. Example: the head could roughly be 9 inches)
Overall Characteristics: a mix-match of details based on characters seen on movies and tv series from Disney, Dreamworks, etc. Sometimes look like a Djinn/Dwarf/Satyr hybrid due to being a semi-burly being with a beard, horns, cold-color palette with high contrast clothing, and shortness of height.
Trivia: In Hazbin Hotel / Hella Boss universe, OC can sometimes be mistaken as a gray-bluish / blue-grayish imp with dark cyan hair, dark pink eyes, and a polymorphic tail that can take form of a mimic suit of armor to hide in.
