Sometimes, I wake up in bed confused;
not knowing what I did yesterday
When I go to school,
people stare at me
blankly, scared and confused,
like I'm a total stranger
My friends also stare as
I'm a deranged psychopath.

I look in the mirror;
I see a young teen boy:

holding a bloody knife to his hand and slashes it,

I turn away, grasping my bloody hand in pain;
tears in my eyes,
I look at my shining Millennium Ring, now covered with blood, my blood
crimson blood, affecting me in everyway,
unlocking terrible memories, of pain and sorrow.
This ring has given me trouble and my family: Death.
DEATH! The words that my dark half loves to hear every second.
Pain, suffering, murder, screaming, blood;
all leading to the word death.
I despise you! My other half!
You have killed my family, hurt my friends and have used me for evil purposes!
But no more killing, no more memories, no more destruction...
I tore the ring off my chest, now covered with crimson, and threw it out the open window with all my strength,
"It is done. I'm free from that THING! " I said in relief, as I dropped to the ground, weak and panting for air,
I heard another voice, as cold as ice, sending shivers up my spine as I heard it,
"You can't get rid of me that easily, mortal!" and laughed he laughed manically.
My dark half had indeed returned, back around my neck as before, reflecting gold and crimson blood off the evening sun;
I sighed,
No matter where I go,
No matter what I do,
No matter where I am,
I knew that both of us,
would be bonded for all eternity,
until the day I die and reach my family in the bright morning sky.
