Chapter 7 Sad Songs

Ichika's POV

My band and I were practicing with Miku, and we were singing 'Do Not Go.'

When we were done, Honami quickly got up and rushed to Saki and I.

"Ichika-Chan", she started. "Saki-Chan, are you two okay?"

"Honami's right", Miku stated. "You two seemed really sad as we were performing."

"And I'm beginning to think that there's a reason why you guys decided to sing that song", Shiho added.

With that…tears began to threaten to fall from Saki's eyes.

"Saki-Chan", Honami exclaimed. "What's wrong?!"

"It's Onii-Chan", Saki revealed. "He may be leaving."

"Huh", Shiho asked. "What do you mean leaving?"

"Do you guys remember Toya-Kun", Saki asked.

"You mean the guy that was at our Hinamatsuri party", Shiho asked.

"Well", Saki started. "His big brother attends a music school in New York. He came back home for a visit, and he suggested that Onii-Chan attend his school."

"Huh", Honami asked. "Attend a music school in New York?!"

"Is Tsukasa-San going to go", Shiho asked.

"No idea", Saki replied. "Ichi-Chan and I haven't actually talked to him about it yet. We found out through Emu."

"Speaking of Ichika", Shiho started. "Are you okay?"

"I…", I started. "I…"

Then…I couldn't keep it in anymore. Tears began falling from my eyes!

"Ichika-Chan", Honami exclaimed before rushing up to me and pulling me into a hug.

"I don't get it", I stated. "Why would Tsukasa even consider leaving?"

"Why don't you ask him?"

Tsukasa's POV

I was in Sekai, playing a sad song on the piano.

When I was done…I heard clapping.

I turned around…and saw Kaito.

"Ah", I started. "Hello, Kaito-San."

"That was a wonderful song, Tsukasa", Kaito stated. "However, it was also sad. Are you sad, Tsukasa?"

With that…I sighed.

"Actually…I'm conflicted."

…

I had just finished telling Kaito about everything.

"I see", Kaito started. "So you're unsure about weather or not you should attend this music school?"

"It feels as if my heart is being in two", I revealed. "On one hand. Everybody I love is in Japan. My troupe. My dearest sister. My beloved Ichika. But on the other hand, my goal is to be the world's number one star, and put on shows that will make people happy. If I was to go to this school, it would greatly help me in reaching my goal."

"I see", a familiar voice said. "So that's why you're considering it."

With that I looked up…and saw Rui with the rest of my troupe.

"You guys are here…", I started as I stood up.

But before I could say anything else…Emu suddenly tackled me!

"Waaaaaaaah", she yelled out. "I'm gonna miss Tsukasa-Kun if he goes to New York!"

"Calm down Emu", I reassured. "I haven't made a decision yet."

"But…", Nene started. "Are you going to go to New York during Golden Week?"

I didn't know how to answer, but I didn't have to.

"I think you should go", Rui stated.

"You do", I asked.

"Yes", Rui replied. "I believe that it will help you in making your decision."

With that…I looked down sadly.

"Hey, I know", Emu exclaimed suddenly. "Why don't we all go with Tsukasa-Kun to New York?!"

"All go with Tsukasa", Nene asked.

"Yeah", Emu replied. "I can ask my brothers about it!"
