Chapter 8 You Should Go

Tsukasa's POV

I had returned to my house…where I saw Ichika and Saki waiting for me in the living room.

"I'm home", I greeted as I walked up to them.

"Welcome home, Tsukasa", Ichika greeted. "There's something Saki and I want to talk to you about…"

"We know that you're considering studying at Natsu-Kun's music school in New York!"

"What", I exclaimed in shock. "How did you two find out?"

"Emu-Chan told us", Saki revealed.

"Emu", I said under my breath in annoyance.

"So", Saki started. "Are you going or not?!"

"Calm down, Saki", I reassured. "I haven't made a decision yet."

"But…you're considering it", Ichika asked.

After she did…I sighed sadly.

"Well…", I started. "I have decided to take up Natsu's offer to go to New York during Golden Week."

"What", Saki exclaimed in shock.

"He wants me to watch the theater program's end of year show", I revealed. "He believes that it will help me make my decision."

After I said this…tears began falling from Saki's eyes.

"Saki", I said as I began making my way to her.

"Why", Saki yelled angrily. "Why would you ever consider leaving me?! Why would you ever consider leaving Ichi-Chan?!"

I wasn't sure on what to say, but I did know what I could do.

I walked up to Ichika and Saki…and wrapped my arms around them.

"Believe me", I started. "This decision is hurting me more than you know."

With these words…I pulled away to look at Ichika and Saki.

"The people I love so dearly are all here", I started. "However, my dream is to become the world's greatest star, and make people smile with my shows. I believe that going to this school could help me in achieving that goal."

With that, both Ichika and Saki looked away.

Then…the former began to speak.

"For as long as I've known you, you have always been so determined to make your goal come true", she pointed out. "It's one of the things I've always loved so much about you."

After Ichika said this…she looked up at me.

"That is why…I think you should go!"

"You…you do", I asked in shock.

"I do", Ichika replied. "Even though I'll miss you so much."

"I will miss you too, my beloved Ichika", I replied before pulling her into a hug. "Oh so much."

I after I said this…I looked at Saki…who was still crying.

Then…she hugged me as well.

"I'm sorry", she apologized. "I wasn't thinking about how much your goal means to you."

"It's okay", I stated.

Then…I got an idea.

"I know", I started. "Why don't you two come with me?"

"Huh", Ichika asked in confusion.

"Emu said she was going to ask her brothers if our entire troupe can come with me to New York during Golden Week", I revealed. "Maybe I can ask her if you two can come too?"
