Author's note: I wrote this the day after seeing Alexander - which, by the way, is a fantastic movie - and I was wondering whether Roxane really did poison Hephaestion. Anyway, this is supposed to be from Hephaestion's POV as he lies dying while Alexander looks out from their balcony. The dashes are because it wouldn't format into stanzas.
