Chapter 19: A sacrifice worth making
Naruto and the rescue team are trapped in a ghetto. It's a rotting, disease ridden, poor place. But an escape plan has been created.
Naruto creates a hundred shadow clones. And they all surround the guards in a circle. They are ready to bombard the guards with shuriken then rush with Kunai in hand to eliminate whoever is left. Shinobu and Kanao decide not to follow through with their assigned role and focus their efforts on another sector of the ghetto. Shino's bugs suck the chakra out of the guards without them even noticing. Kiba and Akamaru break down the front gate using fang wolf fang while transformed as a two headed wolf. Hiashi, Neji and Hinata take down the remaining guards with their incredible taijutsu ability while protecting the others.
The escape was an easy success. Or so they thought. A group of twenty-five 4th Reich shinobi attack Naruto and company. Most of the citizens panic and retreat. There are only two remaining combatants, both of whom turn out to be shinobi and kunoichi. Adrian who has a knife for a hand and is excellent with its use. And Hanare who is capable all around. Shino places bugs on each of the 4th Reich shinobi draining their chakra during the fight. Hiashi, Neji and Hinata defeat the shinobi with their gentle fist which causes organ damage to severe for those who got attacked to continue fighting and were thus finished off. Naruto overwhelms his opponents with his shadow clones. Shinobi and Kanao with their master swordsmanship outclass the 4th Reich shinobi and take their sword wielders with relative ease. Kiba and Akamaru scare off what shinobi remain by being in their two headed wolf form. They continue their escape back to Kumo which they stumble across by pure accident.
Four days later in the hokages office
"Lord hokage, we found this girl. She was discovered listening in on an important meeting between our top shinobi. Also, the front isn't looking too well. We have been pushed back slightly and due to the horrible winter weather, it has become a slow grind for land and victory." An anbu member informed Tsunade.
It was Mukago
"Call Chance. I demand to talk with him." Mukago demanded.
"Fine." Tsunade replied.
Tsunade calls Chance.
"Hello hokage, what do you want?" Chance asked.
"This girl was found listening in on a private and important conversation. She demanded to talk with you." Tsunade answered.
"Mukago, you have been a bad girl. I'm just joking, this was all planned. Let me explain. Mukago has a bomb hidden under her kimono. I wouldn't try to remove it because that would be morally fucked up. Anyway, it will activate with just the push of a button in my possession. You won't be able to disarm it and any attempt will result in your entire village being destroyed and we wouldn't want that. How about this? Give me the one tail Shukaku and Mukago, and in exchange I supply you with 60,000 men. A lot of supplies. Cut ties with the Axis powers meaning I won't supply them any longer. And give you huge sums of money to you and to the other villages. And guaranteed protection of your precious village." Chance proposed.
"I'm not going to do anything that benefits you! Why should I? You took the nine and two tails from us, hogging the other seven tailed beast. Supplied the enemy, attacked our own allies to satisfy your own ambition and has negatively impacted us! And just overall being a pain!" Tsunade answered back aggressively.
"I'm so scared of you; I'm shaking in my boots right now. Think about this. If you truly care for your pathetic village. Then you will give me the one tails and help your village out." Chance replied.
"I will give Shukaku to him, but first we must see if this girl truly has a hidden bomb." Garra said.
"Are you sick?! I will not have my body violated by you!" Mukago responded. Mukago runs away with Gaara in pursuit. Mukago leads Gaara to an open field. Where team Dosu attacks Gaara much to the surprise of Mukago who keeps retreating.
"Summoning jutsu: Soundwave speakers." Zaku said.
Two large speakers rise from the ground next to Dosu on both sides. The speakers release sound waves that attack Gaara, but Gaara's sand shield blocks the attack. From behind Dosu swings his arm which releases large blades of wind and sound at Gaara. The blades approach Gaara too fast for the shield to protect him. Slice. Gaara turns around to see Armie who had created a barrier of Aura to protect Gaara whilst being in a half lucario form that covers her legs.
She has near fatal wounds and is bleeding out. Her transformation dispels as she falls to the ground. Dosu and the team are surprised. Gaara is horrified. Gaara cradles the dying girl.
"I hope… this was a sacrifice worth making." Armie whispered.
Gaara's sand covers her entire body except for her head.
"You're going to pay for that." Gaara said coldly.
Dosu and the team sense Gaara's killer intense intent but do not retreat. Gaara transforms into Shukaku and attacks team Dosu. They are immortal so they regenerate with ease.
"Ha! You can't defeat us!" Zaku shouted.
Suddenly they can't move. A seal has been placed on their necks.
Temari and Kankuro were the ones who placed the seals on them.
"Temari, do you have any idea how to wake Gaara up?" Kankuro asked.
"No." Temari answered.
Bang!
A bullet goes into Gaara's shoulder as he wakes up and dispels the Shukaku transformation as the sand saves him from falling to death. The sand mostly heals Armies wounds and with her last leg strength stands up and shoots Gaara to wake him up since she knew that Shukaku takes over its jinchuriki when it's asleep. Armie falls to the ground. Slowly bleeding and out of strength to stand up. Armie crawls over to Gaara and uses her mystical palm technique to stop the bleeding of his gunshot wound and to replenish his strength. Temari and Kankuro get both Armie and Gaara to Konoha hospital for immediate medical attention.
In rotas castle
"Chance! Chance! I failed to defeat the eight tails jinchuriki, he proceeded to kick my ass and knocked out Yakumo, he destroyed my sword and transformed into his eight tailed form. I have decided to go down the route of Mukago, You and Kaluna and embrace Lucario. I will kill my enemies and drink their blood to make sure I never fail you again." Corrie said
"Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure the eight tails jinchuriki is super strong and It's understandable why you lost." Chance replied.
"You're so understanding, Chance." Corrie complimented.
"Thank you." Chance responded.
Killer B and Yugito crash through one of the throne room windows.
"Shit." Chance said.
"Yo weak knight, you forgot your friend." Killer B said sarcastically.
Killer B places Yakumo on the ground.
"You dare harm my friend. Your heads will be in my possession." Chance threatened.
"What are you going to do fool? Fight like your weak servant." Killer B insulted.
Chance smiles
"You really want to fight a devil like me? Tell me, what is your name?" Chance asks.
"Lord Eight-Tails Killer B." Killer B answers.
"A lord eh? Well, it's nice to see a hellfighter for a change." Chance replies.
"A what?" Killer B asked.
"A hellfighter, the nickname given to the 369th infantry regiment mainly composed of colored people, the ones who sent shockwaves all across the world and was a major factor in the abolitionist movement in my birthplace of Siberia and here in Rota. the first ones who reached the Rhine during the first world war. I gave you that nickname for your impressive strength and bravery. Too bad you charged headfirst into machine gun fire." Chance answered.
"I see you know your history." Yugito replied.
"Thanks, studying history is important, learn the mistakes of the ones who came before you, so you don't repeat them. Unfortunately, people are too ignorant and stubborn to realize this." Chance said.
"Enough chatter, kill them already." A voice said in the shadows.
"Shut up, we just need the tailed beast from the cotton man." Another replied.
"Rokuro, can you stop being a bloody racist already?" A voice asked.
"Can you stop being a posh prick already?" Rokuro asked.
"Take it easy everyone. There is no point in fighting each other." A voice calmingly intervened.
"She has a point, now let us have some fun and kill them and grow stronger." A voice replied sadistically.
"Alright, kill them." Chance commanded.
Six temari balls are thrown at Killer B and Yugito, the balls can change direction and the balls are pursuing B and Yugito. More and more balls are thrown in rounds of six. They are hard to dodge because of their extreme speed. The termari balls eventually surround Yugito and they close in. Yugito's kunai fails to deflate the balls. The temari balls are set ablaze and come into contact with Yugito. And instant death. Her corpse is just bones broken up into small bits as her flesh burns.
"It's sad, I sensed kindness deep down in her." The calm voice said.
"That's just how it is now Tamayo. Don't act like you haven't killed people brutally like this before, you were even worse than Susamaru when you were younger." Chance replied.
"I know, I regret those past murders." Tamayo responded.
"Dont, there is no reason to feel guilty about murder. I have recently learnt that. Murder makes you strong " Chance claimed.
"I guess it does. But it is still morally wrong." Tamayo argued.
"It Is morally wrong to kill people yes, but all of our murders will be undone when we become gods. Able to create our own dimensions. Create whatever we imagine. Simulate human interaction. Undo our past mistakes. Live our perfect lives and not even know it's a simulation." Chance explained.
"I understand." Tamayo replied.
"I respect your morality. But if you want to become strong, you must abandon your morals." Chance said.
"I will prove you wrong." Tamayo proclaimed.
"You and Kyogai both have something to prove. I want you both to eliminate some of the captives in the death camps and ghettos and bring some back here. Corrie and Yakumo, remove the tailed beast from this man." Chance commanded.
Killer B is still retreating from the temari which amazes Susamaru and Chance. Now hundreds of temari are chasing Killer B. Suddenly he is caught in Corries Aura chains and the temari balls fall innocently to the ground. Corrie partially unseals the seal and in a few seconds the seal breaks. Gyuki is unleashed. Yakumo controls it with unbreakable genjutsu. Yakumo and Corrie take the tailed beast back to the asylum. Kyogai and Tamayo leave. Chance slices
In the Fuehrer's office
"M-m-my Fuhrer. There has been a breakout at one of our ghettos. Most of the civilians were found running in a forest by one of our divisions and the civilians were then killed. It was a group of shinobi and kunoichi that survived. According to a soldier who escaped." Chioro alerted.
"I would be upset but most of them were killed thus fulfilling my objective. They only broke their prolonged suffering." Damian responded.
"What should we do now?" Chioro asked.
"Finally make our move. Contact Onsoku and order the speed division to invade Konoha and tear it to shreds." Domain answered with confidence.
"Yes sir." Chioro answered.
Chioro leaves.
The three weeks later in Konoha
"Attention everyone! Several death camp massacres have taken place! Hundreds of thousands killed! Hundreds of thousands more missing! There are two suspects! The king of Rota's cousins Kyogai and Tamayo or the 4th Reich! Evidence points to Kyogai and Tamayo, but the King has denied any involvement!" Konohamaru shouts, handing out newspapers.
"Let me see this. I bet that the King is behind this. I overheard Grandma Tsunade talking about him. I didn't hear anything positive." Naruto said.
"Really, what did he do?" Konohamaru asked.
"A lot of stuff I can't say. He did steal the tailed beast from Kumo and from me. Attacked our allies. And gave money and equipment to the enemy." Naruto answered.
"Mind if I have one of these newspapers?"
They turn around to see Armie.
"Sure, they are 5 ryo each." Konohamaru answered.
Armie is terrified when she reads the newspapers.
"What's wrong?" Naruto asked.
"I know who the real culprit is." Armie answered.
"Who is it?" Naruto asked.
"I will tell you but first we must go to the hokage's office." Armie answered.
"Alright." Naruto answered.
Armie and Naruto go to the hokage's office.
In the hokage's office
"Grandma Tsunade!" Naruto yelled.
"What is it?" Tsunade asked.
"This. The massacres were not committed by the Reich. It was Kyogai and Kyogai alone." Armie answered.
"How?" Tsunade asked.
"Tamayo was once a bloodthirsty killer, a common for our family. But she soon grew a disgust for her murder. She became a pacifist and refuses to hurt anybody anymore. Chance mainly uses her as a spy. She would never kill a single human being. Kyogai, being raised as a member of the former branch family, has a strong desire to prove himself. I assume Chance sent him to murder all of those people to prove his strength and to increase his strength and bring people home to increase the others strength and to temptate . When fully or more accurately 90% of Lucario's power. They gain the ability to drink people's blood or eat peoples flesh to increase their power. Almost everyone in our current generation of Aura-Suns have done this. Except for me and my cousin Korrina. And with Christmas a few weeks away, I fear that even more bloodshed will occur. Because im sure the family will take great pleasure in murdering a bunch of people then thinking about how their family and friends will react to their tragic loss. "Armie answered.
"That's psychopathic behavior." Shizune replied.
"Yeah, but deep down they are nice people. They have just strayed away from the light. And I fear that if my legs were not injured. I would have become just like them." Armie claimed.
"I doubt it, you're kind and polite unlike Chance and Mukago." Shizune replied.
"Thanks for telling us this important information." Tsunade thanked Armie.
"You're welcome.' Armie responded.
On christmas eve
"So, this is the legendary leaf village, looks like I could easily make this place into my bitch and profit off of slavery." Rokuro said.
"Yeah, but that's not what we are here for. We are here to celebrate Christmas with Armie and mother. And for me to improve my current relationship with the hokage and eventually allies. Everyone except for me and Kaluna will stay in Konoha." Chance responded.
"Are we forbidden to kill anybody here?" Kyogai asked.
"Only in self-defense and truly necessary situations but do not hesitate to kill in said situations." Chance answered.
"What are we waiting for? Let's have some fun." Susamaru said.
"Hell yeah." Korrina responded.
"I will disguise myself as a prostitute and prank whatever man I come across." Daki said maliciously.
"Tsk, The number of guards at this village is pathetic." Milunka claimed.
"You're right. We could take them all down effortlessly." Natalya responded.
"Can't wait to enjoy myself with the most beautiful views available here." Marshall said.
"Just try not to embarrass yourself again." Zhukov warned.
"I'll torment some people by putting them to sleep then give them nightmares." Jagr said maliciously.
"I'm going to steal the One tails, then my plan will be one step closer to completion. Total world pacification." Kaluna thought to herself.
"What's the point in protecting this place? Shukaku is here, let's just take the fucking beast and leave." Draco said.
"It could be fun; we could defeat shinobi in combat to spread the reputation of knights like us. We could make friends, something we both lack. Or we could for once enjoy ourselves." Corrie replied.
"Mukago, Wakuraba, and Kamanue, you will protect me from assasination." Chance ordered.
They enter the village
"Who are you?" Kotetsu asked.
"The royal family of Rota. My name is Chance, the rest are, Korrina, Kaluna, Marshall, Zhukov, Jagr, Draco, Corrie, Natalya, Mukago, Rokuro, Wakuraba, Susamaru, Yahaba, Tamayo, Kyogai, Kamanue, Milunka and Daki Aura-Sun. If you'd be so kind as to not start trouble it'd be appreciated." Chance answered.
They walk away.
"Wasn't that the kid Tsunade told us to be careful of and not to let him and his family in unless we get her permission?" Izumo asked.
"Oh, you're right. Should we do something about them?" Kotetsu asked.
"Of course, let's get moving." Izumo answered.
"Hey you! Stop right there!" Kotetsu shouts.
Jagr turns around and points at Izumo and Kotetsu and speaks
"Leave us alone."
Jagr puts Izumo and Kotetsu to sleep.
"What was that?! You're going to get us in trouble!" Susamaru scolds.
"The two bumbling idiots would only cause more problems to us." Jagr argued.
"Let's keep moving and not draw any more attention to ourselves." Yahaba replied.
"Great thinking." Chance praised.
At Naruto
Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are walking to the border for guard duty. They see a group of twenty-two people gathered at Ichiraku ramen. They are curious so they check out what's going on. Naruto sees a boy who looks familiar. Naruto taps the boy on the shoulder. The boy turns around. Naruto sees Chance and throws a punch. Chance grabs Naruto's wrist and Mukago holds her sharp nails with the lethality of claws to Naruto's neck.
"Leave king Chance alone or die." Mukago threatened.
"Ah nine tails kid. I've been waiting for you. Do you want Kurama back?" Chance asked.
"Yes." Naruto answered.
"Didn't the entire village hate you because you when the nine tailed fox was inside of you?" Sasuke asked.
"Yes, they still hate me because they don't know I don't have Kurama ma inside of me right now. I kept it like that to earn the villagers respect with Kurama. To prove I am not a monster. I want to protect the village and become the hokage and Kurama will help me achieve my dream." Naruto answered.
"Mukago, let this man go." Chance ordered.
Mukago releases Naruto.
"Follow me man. I want to do the procedure in private. Mother, you must keep us both alive." Chance said.
Naruto follows Chance and Melina to a secluded place.
"Alright. Take off your jacket. Your seal hasn't been removed, rather it's been split into two. The seal can be repaired. Too bad I don't have the talent to do so, so my mother will place a bridge seal over your broken seal. Too keep Kurama in. Next, I will place my left hand on the seal and place Kurama back in. I'm normally right-handed but the procedure will cause burn damage to an unknown degree so might as well use the other hand and arm. Mother will keep us alive with her Aura which has healing properties. And once that's over we can continue celebrating Christmas. I consider this procedure a gift. Merry Christmas." Chance explained.
Naruto takes off his jacket.
"Merry Christmas." Naruto replied.
Melina places the bridge seal on Naruto then places both of her hands on Naruto and Chance. Chance places his left hand on Naruto's stomach.
"See you on the other side." Chance said.
Chance's arm is set ablaze with orange chakra. He feels no pain, but Naruto is screaming in agony.
Soon it's all over.
"Well, now that Kurama is back in your possession. I would like to apologize. I couldn't control Lucifer's ambitions. He wants to rule the world as a god. Meanwhile I want a world where no one feels pain again. People can create whatever they please. Be whatever they want and control how their worlds play out without their creations knowing. They can have whatever they desire. And no one has to die unfairly ever again." Chance said.
"Those sound-like good goals. But how are you going to accomplish those goals?" Naruto asked.
"You will see." Chance answered.
Naruto, Chance and Melina return to the village.
"How did it go?" Sasuke asked.
"It went well. I have Kurama back inside of me." Naruto answered.
"Now Naruto, could you help me out with making ramen? I have a lot of orders and I can't do this alone." Teuchi asked.
"Sure, old man." Naruto answered.
"When did you learn to make ramen?" Sasuke asked.
"While you were with Orochimaru." Naruto answered.
"Yeah, I did as well." Sakura added.
"May I please have another bowl?" Susamaru asked.
Ten empty bowls sit in front of Susamaru
"Sure. Wait, you've eaten that much ramen! How?!" Naruto asked.
"Ten bowls ain't nothing. I can have another." Susamaru answered.
"Alright." Naruto replied.
"I must say this place is surprisingly clean." Yahaba complimented.
"This ramen is the best I've ever had." Rokuro complimented.
"And I must say ma'am, you're beautiful." Marshall complimented Ayame.
"Goddamnit Marshall." Zhukov replied.
"Thank you." Ayame responded nervously.
"Keep your mouth shut. You wannabe cowboy." Teuchi insulted.
"You wanna settle this like men? I'm a shinobi, you're inferior to me in terms of strength, smarts and talent." Marshall responded.
"That's enough! Marshall keeps your fucking mouth shut. She's way too old for you I'm assuming. And you, old man, challenging a teenager to a fight. Where are your morals?" Chance interfered.
Marshall and Teuchi were quiet afterwards.
The twenty-two Aura-Suns leave the ramen shop. Chance gives the ramen shop 100,000 ryo as payment. Way above the original bill.
"Kid, why are you giving me so much money?" Teuchi asked.
"I like small businesses; they have a soul." Chance answered.
"Armie. I feel like giving some Christmas joy to this village. Tell me, how are the villagers feeling during this war?" Chance asked.
"Well, the kids are stressed out with all the intense training and are worried about being sent out on the front lines." Armie answered.
"Perfect. Hey everyone, how would you all like to spread some Christmas joy to the children?" Chance asked.
Everyone nods in agreement.
"Perfect." Chance replied.
They go to the academy. They get permission to spend the day making sure the kids have a great Christmas. They play games like dodgeball and ninja but also educate the kids, teaching them proper taijutsu stances, chakra control, nature transformations and Chance teaches history and how to learn from past mistakes. Marshall gives some tips for expert marksmanship shurikenjutsu. Tamayo and Kaluna save kids from falling plant pots. The others prank the villagers via different means then give them money and gifts. They have a great time. Shizune while delivering documents sees the Aura-Suns.
"They are nothing like how Armie described them. They seem normal. Not bloodthirsty, cruel, Heartless and psychopathic." Shizune thought to herself.
Shizune walks over to Armie.
"Hey Armie." Shizune said.
Armie turns around.
"Oh, hey miss Shizune." Armie replied.
"Why are they acting so kind? You described them as heartless and cruel among other things." Shizune asked.
"Well, that's what they became. This is their true nature deep down. Now it's either repressed or is in the process of being eliminated." Armie answered.
"I see. Well, I have to go. I have documents to deliver to the hokage." Shizune responded.
"Alright. Goodbye." Armie said.
"Goodbye." Shizune replied.
Shizune leaves.
Somewhere close to the village.
"This is where we will set up our weapons." A man said.
"Perfect spot boss. We need to strike fear in the hearts of the allies and destroying this village will be perfect." Another man replied.
They place one million kunai in the surrounding area each with explosive tags on them.
They place a large seal on the ground then begin fueling the seal with chakra. A woman is spying on them. She is undetected. She sneaks away and rushes to the hidden leaf village.
"I have to let them know what's coming. Even though I must avoid HIM." The woman thought to herself.
