Battle of the spirits.

This is a Carmen Sandiego (Secrect of the stolen drums video game) and YuGiOh! Yes I know this is a very odd cross over but I was watching Yugioh and my little brother was playing this on the TV in the kitchen. And I thought the main charecter (Cole D) and...D The episode: where the "Holly wood heart throb" comes back, might explain my idea for this story. And I like Yugi and Yami but this is just the only idea I had for this.

Chapter one: Mai's nightmare, come true.

Mai ran as fast as she could through town being chased by two boys. She kept running looking around for anybody.A sign of life!"PEOPLE ARE NEVER AROUND WHEN YOU NEED THEM EH MAI!?!?!" one of the boys yelled. Mai turned into an alleyway and continued to run. She knew it was'nt a good idea but she might be able to lose them. Mai turned into another section of an alley and another hoping to lose them she continued to run for awhile longer.

Mai slumped agasint a wall breathing hard. She had probably ran five miles. She walked towards a fence post and climbed over it meekly. She dropped down and fell right into the arms of Yami. "Now where do you think you're going?" Mai's heart stopped beating. Her face was full of fear. She had just gotten away from these two! Why was god punishing her so? Yugi grabbed her and threw her into the brick-wall hard.

Mai had to keep from screaming. A jagged bit of the rock slammed into her back as well. Yami started towards her with a knife. "Give us what we want..." he laughed. Mai knew what they meant. They wanted to rape her. She pushed back agasint the wall even though the jagged piece of the wall had cut into her again. Yami lifted the knife and cut her cheek enough so blood would trickle out.

Yami licked the blood making Mai shiver with pleasure and pain.

He then took the knife and cut into her stomach..

Yugi advanced on her from the side and grabbed her trying to lift her shirt. Mai put up a struggle against him Yami lifted the knife againand cut her neck licking the blood. He stepped back with Mai's blood dripping off his lips.

Mai's eyes were brimmed with tears. She heard a garbage can tip over and Yugi and Yami scream. She was scared. What was it that caused them to scream?

Mai looked around. Her vision became better now that the tears were gone. She noticed the outline of a boy...no older than seventeen possibly..he was looking right at her! He was wearing a green shirt and blue baggy jeans. He had brown spikey hair and chocolate brown eyes. But what surprised her the most was that he was holding a staff!

Spirits were moving in and out of it! Mai tried to back up and get away. But she then realized that she was agasint a brick wall and lost a lot of blood..the boy walked towards her.

Mai flinched and cowered under him. But he did'nt hurt her. "Hey..are you ok?" he asked in a gentle and soft voice. I looked up at him. I guess he realized that they had hurt me..it could have been because of the blood on my face..

He picked me up in his strong arms. I was alert at first. But then he re-assured me. "Dont worry...im just taking you to a hospital" I nodded and snuggled up agasint him he was very warm and soft to..

Im not to sure who this boy was or why he was here..but I was thankful!
